Subject: Chapter 9 Of War of the Realms

OK all I just wanted to thank you in advance for taking the time to
read my story and I hope that you enjoy it. Also the usual disclaimers
pertain to it so if you are not at least 18 or whatever the legal age
in your area is then you are ordered to leave  and not read this. Also
all characters and events are fictitious and products of the authors
bored mind. Thank you again for reading and enjoy.


Chapter 9

The death of an angel

The morning after Damien is sitting in his office looking over the
last week's reports' thinking it is great to have such a great crew
working for him. Otter then the attack on the tower and Cody going off
and get hurt everything was in order. Damien sits back in his chair
and looks out over the city thinking back to last night the only thing
that he could think of was Ryan sigh so wonderful so right everything
could not be going better with him and Ryan. His phone ringing brought
him back to the world.

"Damien here."

"Damien its Matt I have great news."

"Ok spill."

"Well Karr and Skyler get along great oh and Angelus is starting to come to."

"Well that's great and what do you mean oh."

"Well he is still a little out of it keeps saying if only he had it
Kane would be dead right now."

"It?.... I know what he is talking about look let me know when he
understands where he is and what's going on."

"I will."

"Thanks Matt."

Damien hangs up the phone and says to him self "That's it I have to
find his armor." it's the only thing that Angelus stopped using after
coming to this time and started working as the head of security. But
here did he put it Damien knew it was not in the magical weapons and
armor room this was going to take more time then he thought. As the
day went on Angelus was still out of it how ever Cody was getting
better but would not be ready for weeks the attack left him hurt so
bad that for the first few hours after it was touch and go had he went
in to the battle with out his hard suit he would be dead now. As
Damien sat there thinking about how to deal with Angel showing up
taking out Cody and Kane taking out Angelus left a large gap in which
turned the tide of the war for the next few weeks till the whole team
was back at full power. Lunch was nice and quiet as Damien and Ryan
went out he could see that last night was the right thing as the love
between them grew to new levels they now had a bond that no person
could hope to reach or break. It had been a little over a month since
he had met the beautiful blond that changed his life for ever and was
glad he did it had fueled Damien with a new life a new love one that
he could not only see but felt to the very center of his soul. Not
only would he be fighting to save earth but also now, he was fighting
to have the chance to live and be happy in this life with Ryan. As
they walked to the car Damien had just opened the door for Ryan when
Damien turned he seen his lover drop with an arrow in his back.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, RYAN" As Damien ran over and picked up his love in
his arms he seen Angel jumping from rooftop to roof top laughing.

"GET BACK HERE YOU BITCH!"

Damien teleported right to the med lab yelling in seconds Ryan was
hooked up to the computer and life support Matt walked over and said.

"You're lucky from what the readings show the arrow did not hit any
thing major he'll live. I say he should be back on his feet in about
48 hours."

"Thanks Matt."

Damien walked over to Ryan and put his hand on his forehead.

"Don't worry love you'll be fine you know how lucky I am to know I
will not lose you I love you."

Damien kissed his forehead and walked out of the med lab heading for
the prototype weapons lab where Matt had been working on a handheld
ion cannon there was no better test to what it could do then use it to
kill his own ex step daughter that is after he broke every bone in her
body.

"Damien do you think it's a good idea to take that."

"I don't know bane, how did you find me?"

"Well finding the biggest weapon you own is something you do when your pissed."

"Oh, I can't live without him this is so hard why did she do it."

"I know Damien but you know there all like that but he is not going to
die you know that."

"I know but what if I never seen him if I never talked to him none of
this would have happened."

"You know for a know it all your full of what if's. I'm not going to
stop you but the ion cannon is a little much just do it the old way."

"Your right Bane it is the best way to be sure right."

"As always."

"Then tonight angels bloody will stain my blade."

"I know you want revenge but I think there is somewhere else you
should be right now."

"And where would that be Bane?"
Damien snapped

"With Ryan he needs you by his side more now then ever."

Damien stood there for a few before putting the sword down.

"Sigh, Your right I should be there with him, god what was I thinking,
but I have to keep the heat on them."

"Well I have a better idea."

"Like what?"

"Let's send Skyler and Karr out."

"But I don't want someone else hurt."

"Damien I think this kid can do more damage then Cody could have ever
thought of. And I know he is more then enough to stop Kane and I am
sure he could hold his own with angel till back up gets to him."

"You really think so?"

"I know so I have never seen anyone with his skill before. I give him
a few years and he should be on the same power level as Angelus this
kid could give me a run for my money in a few years. So yeah send him
out, and you stay with Ryan."

"Fine let him know what to do and I'll be with Ryan."

"Will do, oh and Damien we will get her you know that."

"I know, and thanks I would have made a big mistake going to hunt
Angel instead of staying by Ryan's side."

"Your welcome Damien."

As Damien sat in a chair by Ryan's bed holding his hand Bane fills in
Skyler on Kane and Angel. After Bane is finished, Skyler gets up and
walks for the door.

"Bane you know if I do get my hands on them they die tonight I think I
can take Angel and Kane is a push over."

"Don't get head strong kid Angel has a lot of power if you start to
lose get away and run I know running seems like it is the weak thing
to do but you still live to fight another day."

"I know and I will and um thanks Bane."

"Your welcome and happy hunting."

As Damien is sitting talking to Ryan and wishing he could hear him and
wake up Matt walks in.

"Well Damien the good news is there was nothing major hit how ever the
arrow had been close enough to the spine to cause this coma I don't
think he will be in it long but I thought you would like to know that,
if he don't come out of it in a week there is a chance he will never
come out of it. I'm sorry Damien but it's a 50-50 chance right now all
I can say is I hope I am wrong.

"Thanks Matt I hope your wrong to."

"Well I will leave you I have to check on Angelus and make sure he is
not trying to walk yet oh yeah I forgot he came to when you and Ryan
was out but anyway I hope for the best."

Matt walks out of the room just as Damien brakes out in tears he leans
over the bed and kisses Ryan on his lips and sits back down in the
chair crying unable to speak.

"Well it looks like someone was able to get to him after all good work Angel."

"Thanks granddad."

"Now you know you have to finish the job as soon as you can with Ryan
dead Damien will break and we will win."

"I don't think that is a good idea old man."

"What the fuck did you say?"

"You heard me if you kill Ryan it wont brake him it will set the dark
side of him free and none of you will live."

As the man talking steps out of the shadows.

"Craven, what do you know your nothing to me HOW DARE YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO."

"You have not seen his full power I have I have been alive for over
2000 years and have seen the death he has left in his darkest time. If
you think he won't do it again then your a moron. He will do it again
and no one will be able to stop him.

"GET OUT."

"Fine have it your way old man."

Craven walks out.

"Ok Karr you ready?"

"I have been ready."

As Skyler gets ready to leave, Karr's scanners pick up something
teleporting on to the roof.

"Skyler there is someone on the roof."

"Do you know who?"

"No I don't know who could teleport on to this roof."

"Ok I'm going to check it out keep a look out and if I get in to
trouble get help."

"Ok, be careful."

"I will."

Skyler took the elevator to the roof, as the doors opened the roof
looked empty as Skyler walked out of the elevator.

"Who are you?"

"The names Skyler and who are you?"

"That is something you will never know and since your in my way its
time you die."

"Well bring it."

The person walked out from behind one of the A/C units he stands 7'10"
and his shoulders are about as wide as a truck holding a sword that is
just about as big as he is. Skyler just stepped forward and called the
bright sword, as he got ready for the fight.


"Well I see the bright sword as finally found its owner."

"Yes, it has and you will die by its blade."

"Don't get cocky boy."

"I'm not a BOY."

Both men started to run at each other both swords clash and sparks fly
from both blades as they meet. As the battle dragged on none of the
blows from the fighters had landed on its target and it started to
look like both of them are a match for each other.

As the battle went on the roof, Damien was in the med lab holding
Ryan's hand and softly talking to him hoping to bring his lover back
to him. In the other room a crossed form Ryan's Angelus started to
come to with a big yawn he sat up in his bed he moved his neck from
side to side as the bones popped and snapped he did the same with his
arms and back and the first words out of his mouth in over 3 days was.

"THAT FUCKING HURT."

Matt sitting just on the other side of the wall to his room got up and
walked in.

"I see your back with us."

"Yeah, but now I want revenge."

"Well before you got all ready to kill big guy I have to ask do you
remember what happened."

"Yeah it was Kane."

"Ok well seems like there is no real damage done so I guess you can go
and plan your revenge."

As Angelus stood up and snapped his fingers a blood red leather outfit
appeared on him. The battle on the roof as still going on and still no
one was landing any blows as both fighters seemed to me a perfect
match for each other. And in Ryan's room Damien still held Ryan's hand
crying and begging for his love to return to him vowing to go to hell
and back if he had to. Angelus made his way down to the weapons
storage room and pulled a tarp off and set of armor.

"There you are the armor of mars with this Kane will die."

Angelus puts the armor on and heads back up to the back dock where he
gets on black ducati using his vampire senses he locates Kane and revs
the bike leavening in a cloud of smoke. Back in the med lab in Ryan's
room Damien feels Ryan move a bit.

"Ryan?"

Ryan moved again and his eyes started to open and tried to speak.

"Da Dam."

Ryan clears his throat.

"Damien?"

With tears running down his face, Damien leans over and kisses Ryan on
his forehead.

"Yes love I'm here."

"Damien I'm sorry I just about died on you."

"Don't be you here alive with me I will never leave you my love."

"I know I just feel bad that I can die."

"Don't you worry I have done some thinking and I think I am ready to
make you like me so you will never have to worry about dieing on me."

"Damien I would like that but let me think about it first please."

"Yes my love take all the time you need."

"Thanks now this is going to sound so not me but could you please kill
that bitch that did this to me."

With a large smile, Damien leans in and kisses Ryan.

"Yes I will."

"And today Damien."

"Ryan this is so unlike you."

"Well I'm pissed I was laying here unable to come to and to hear you
crying for days did not help any. So yes I want that bitch dead and do
be sure she knows I know what happened."

"I will love anything for you."

"Get going killer hopefully Matt can get me walking before you get back."

"Ok I'm going and yes I am sure he could I love you Ry I'll be back soon."

"And I love you."

Damien and Ryan kiss one more time before Damien walks out to get
ready to kill angel. The battle on the roof was getting faster still
no one landing any blows. Angelus pulls up to the building where he
senses Kane in side he gets off the bike and walks to the door. Damien
walks over to a glass case in his office holding a sword about as tall
as Damien.

"The sword of legend I never thought I would ever have to use you again."

Damien opened that case and picked up the sword as he looks it over he
can see him self in the blade as his hair turns from black to blond
and his eyes from gray to ice blue he brings the sword down to his
side and for the first time in 2000 years Damien is now in the forum
he was made in. The battle on the roof was now moving and speeds no
human could see and still no victor Skyler knew this would be the
battle to test his limits and this guy also knew somewhere in the back
of his mind this was his last fight but he was not going to lose to
easy. Angelus kicked the door in as the door flew across the room
Angelus walked in and sitting in a chair on the top floor was Kane.

"Angelus nice of you to join me."

"This is the end for you Kane you will not leave here alive."

"Well I guess you woke up on the wrong side of the hospital bed today."

"Come one Kane lets do this."

"Yes it is time."

Kane gets up from his chair and jumps down to the floor and gets ready
to fight Angelus. Damien walks out of his office and down to his car
then he thinks no and thinks of where Angel would be and was not
shocked to find out she had yet to learn to hide her self from his
mind and found that she was on a rooftop downtown and teleported
there.

"Hello father."

"Don't call me that aging you bitch."

"Well I see I hit a nerve lets see if I can name that nerve oh yeah
it's called that fag of a boyfriend you have. You know he don't fit
you I know your not really a fag your just trying to get the first
fuck you can after mom dumped you."

"HOW DARE YOU CALL HIM THAT Ryan is mine and will always be mine I
have found who I am and you or anyone will not change that or take him
away from me."

"He will just get in the way and we will win this time and there is
nothing you can do about that."

"Shut up and fight me NOW."

"But you can't kill me you would miss me."

"Time to die angel."

With that Damien rushed her Angel blocked his sword and the fight was
on. Back on the roof of the tower, the fight started to slow down as
both fighters started to run out of steam but still no blows landing.
Kane and Angelus had been going at it for an hour before Kane pulled
his sword Angelus stopped and spikes came out of the gloves of his
armor then he rushed Kane blocking the sword with one sit of spikes
and ramming the other set in to Kane's chest Kane dropped his sword as
he turned to dust Angelus took the other sit and cut his head off. The
fight with Angel was fast and quick Angel did get a few strikes in on
Damien but none that did much damage as Angel came around for a over
head slash Damien ducked and spun out of the way and brought his sword
up at the same time cutting Angels hand off then he came around and
took her head off and then cut her in half the sword of legend took
her soul and sealed it away never to be released again. As the fight
on the roof of the tower slowed down Skyler seen his opening and went
for it running the bright sword though the mans chest then bringing
the sword up and cutting him just about in half killing the person he
was fighting when he learned his name from his sword the guys name was
Jacob lazion the other half of Dracona. As Skyler picked up Jacob's
sword and felt the power from it he knew this would not be the last
time he would face Jacob as the body was just a shell he knew this was
far from over. Kane was dead he would never been seen again and this
Angelus was happy with as he walked out of the building and sit a bomb
in the middle of the floor and got on his bike and rode off as the
building was turned to ash in the blink of an eye. Damien teleported
back to his office and put the sword back in the case and started for
the med lab. As he got down to the lab he found that Ryan was right in
hoping Matt would have him on his feet Ryan was walking around the lab
not very fast but still walking.

"Well I see you did it Matt."

"Damien?"

"Yes this is my true form."

"Well what brought that out?"

"The sword of legend."

"You have the sword of legend?"

Asked Matt

"Yes."

"Cool."

Ryan made his way around the back and put his arms around Damien.

"Wow I did not know you were a blond."

Damien turned around in his lovers arms.

"Well not most people know it when I did look like this it was 2000
years ago and I am not proud of what I did then."

"Well now that you look like that you won't be going back to that way are you?"

"No love not with you by my side."

Damien kissed Ryan with passion and love with a feeling that things
would be right again soon this day had been a massive blow to
Dracona's side, which gave Damien and his team the upper hand for now.

With revenge dealt and a major fight won this day is one for the books
but this world the world we live in will never know about the battle
that went on this day.




Well as i am having major writers block it will take some time before
anyone sees chapter 10 i hope you all have enjoyed this story and wish
to see more of it. Your feed back is welcome after all feed back is a
