No Privacy For The Weary

When they returned to Zang's and Vance's company, both looked at them with
sheepish grins. James turned a nice shade of crimson. Rance grabbed hold of
James' hand and squeezed it gently.

"Shall we continue then?" Master Zang asked.

They all agreed. During the middle of practice something had been bothering
James in the back of his mind. Zang noticed that he wasn't focusing very
hard and figured something was up. Zang called it a day, sending them to
change and grab something to eat.

As James was pulling his shirt over his head, he heard a knock on the
door. "Come in." Zang entered the room

"Master Zang." James wasn't expecting him.

"My boy you're not very good at hiding things from me. I could tell during
training that you weren't focusing as well as you were earlier today. Is
there something the matter?" Zang sat in the chair by the dresser.

James sighed and sat at the end of the bed. "I might as well give up
then. Ever since I came here, it feels like I don't have time for me. There
are times I just want to be by myself in my own little world with my
collective thoughts, to let things sink in a little." James admitted.

"Have you tried to talk to Rance about this?" Master Zang asked.

"I don't want to make him feel like he is over burdening me. He's the host,
and I want to make sure he feels like what he is doing is hospitable if you
know what I mean." James answered.

"I don't think Rance would take any offense if you asked for a couple of
days to do things for yourself. Even though he is the head of the family he
too needs to have his time alone. He would understand." Zang smiled.

"There's something else Master. Ever since the day when I turned into a
wolf other things have been happening to me. My vision sometimes comes and
goes, then I lose consciousness." James added to his confession.

"That's why you disappear, but where do you go?" Zang raised his brow with
curiosity.

"It's hard to explain, it's like a different place, almost dream
like. There's just clouds and wind nothing else, no ground, I'm just
floating there. I hear this faint voice calling me. I look around and see
no one. I start to get so cold." James explains.

"Hmmm...very interesting." Zang rubs his index finger and his thumb on both
sides of his lower jaw, "Did you ever think is might have something to do
with the powers awakening little by little?"

"I have thought of that, yes. I just don't want any one to worry about me."
James added.

"No matter what, people are going to worry you can't stop it. It's in our
nature as caring beings." Zang said.

A knock sounded from the door as it opened. "Are you ready?" Rance asked.

The room went silent for a moment. James was just looking at Rance in his
attire. The man looked possitively delicious wearing a black business suit
with a blue dress shirt underneath the blazer. "Going out to dinner tonight
Rance?" Master Zang asked.

"Yep. I thought it was about time I did something for him don't you think?"
Rance looked at Zang.

Zang got out of the chair, "I hope both of you have a wonderful
evening. Hopefully, they won't try to mess it all up."

Finished buttoning his collar, James smiled, "Okay I'm ready." As Rance
handed him a trenchcoat, James took it and put it on leaving the room.

The car left the gates of the manor ground and the gate closed
shortly. Vance was watching the car leave. He closed the drapes and turned
around with a smile.

"I'm so glad to see a smile on you Vance. Especially now." Zang commented,
taking a drink of his tea.

"James is just a amazing man." Vance answered.

Zang raised his eyebrow, "Oh?"

"I truly hope that he is happy with Rance, they both deserve each other,
and I wouldn't want to see it destroyed." Vance finished.

"I see, there's a change in heart." Zang smiled.

Vance just smiled back. That's all Zang needed to see and he went back to
drinking his tea.

~

James was just looking outside the window in one of his deep
thoughts. Rance looked over and put his hand on James' lap. James snapped
out of his thought and looked back at him and smiled.

"What are thinking about?" Rance asked with a smile.

"Just stuff." James replied.

"I know that, but what kind of stuff?" Rance chuckled softly.

"Can we wait until we get back to the manor to talk about it, I don't want
it to ruin the evening?" James smiled.

"Yeah, sure thing." Rance's smile turned slightly thoughtful as he looked
back at the road.

All the way to the restaurant a peaceful silence filled the car as both men
contimplated their own thoughts. Once the car was parked, Rance moved
swiftly from the vehicle. Moving quickly he opened James' door for him with
a small florishing bow. "Your door my lord, well sir." He grinned at the
younger man.

"Why thank you kind sir." James couldn't help but chuckle as he was snapped
from his thoughts.

Rance lead them into the building and was greeted by a male host, "Ah
Mister Towers you arrived safely. Everything is prepared for you and your
guest."

James looked at Rance, and Rance smiled back. They were lead to the back
part of the building in an empty room. As they entered the room James was
drawn back seeing the room was filled with lit candles. Rance smiled at
James' reaction, pulling out a chair for James. James sat down and took
another look around.

Menus were handed to them. "I will let you look at the menu and be back in
a moment." The waiter left the room.

James looked at the table and saw a white rose in his plate. He picked it
up and smelt it. Rance gave a knowing smile. "A white rose, my favorite
flower." James smiled back at Rance.

"Yes I know." Rance answered, looking at the menu.

The waiter came back with a bottle and started pouring into the
wineglasses. "Thank you." James said and picked up the glass and took a
sip.

His eyes widened when he tasted the wine. He swallowed and put the glass
down. The waiter left the room again. "Peach Chardonnay? What other things
do you know about me?" James asked.

Music started playing and filed the room.

The world is changing and time is spinning fast. It's so amazing how you
came into my life. I know it's seems all hope is gone, I know you feel you
can't be strong, but once again the story end with you and I.

and anytime that you just feel like you just can't go on. Just hold on to
my love, and you'll never be alone.

Hold on, we can make it through the fight. And my love I'm forever by your
side. And you know if you should ever call my name, I'll be right there.
You'll never be alone...

James' mouth just dropped when he heard what was playing. He started to hum
along with the song. Rance got up and offered his hand to James. James
complied and put his hand in Rance's. They moved out to the dance floor,
James put his head on Rance's shoulder as they danced.

The song stopped playing, as they returned to their seats. The waiter came
back and took their order. Less then ten minutes and their food was set
before them.

James sensed something from outside and looked at the window.

"Is something wrong?" Rance asked at James' reaction.

James just brushed it off. "No, just had a shiver up my back that's all."

Outside the building two shadowy figures put something by the building and
pressed a button. The button started a clock counting down at a rapid
pace. They ran to the car and sped away.

"James, get out of there quickly you are in danger!" He spirit guide warned
him, broadcasting strongly into his mind.

His vision went outside and saw the timer. He got up and grabbed Rance and
ran out to the door. He told the waiter to run and get out of that part of
the building. James stopped and told Rance to get out. Rance didn't want to
leave James, "Now!"

Rance did what James told him to do. "I need your help with what I'm
thinking of wolf guardian . I can't have innocent people getting hurt."
James mentally connected to his animal spirit.

"I need to draw strength from you as well, I can not do it alone. Think of
what moments in your life that brought you joy." The wolf spirit spoke
back.

James leaned up against the wall and thought of all the memories that he
could. His outer body started to glow and the glow expanded through the
walls. James heard the explosion outside and he braced himself tight to the
wall as much as he could. Screams were heard in the other part of the
restaurant and panic soon spread.

Soon sirens wailed in the streets. "James!" James heard Rance in his
head. James opened his eyes and looked towards the room he and Rance were
in and ran the other way.

James fought his way to the door with the crowd of people. As soon as he
stepped outside he felt something grab him. He let out a gasp. He view came
into focus and saw it was Rance. "Don't fuckin' scare the shit out of me
like that. I started to think the worst." Rance started to have tears come
out of his eyes.

"Well, so much for dinner. It was good while it lasted." James smiled.

Rance smiled back and James noticed a car sped off in the other
direction. "As I thought." James let out.

"What?" Rance asked and looked to see what James saw. Rance saw the car as
well speed by.

Rance started to build up with anger. He started to storm off when James
grabbed a hold of his wrist. Rance looked back and saw the look James had
in his eyes. His anger quickly vanished. "Let's go then." Rance put his arm
around James as they walked to the car.

~

Returning to the manor, Zang and Vance were surprised to see them home so
early.

"Don't ask what happened." Rance said before either of the two could say
anything. They watched as James and Rance walked down the hall.

Almost to his room James stopped. Rance stopped shortly. "Could I be alone
tonight Rance?" James felt bad for asking.

Rance smiled a little, "Sure thing."

"Rance before you go, I have something else to ask. Is it okay that I have
a couple of days to myself?" James asked.

"Yeah it's alright. Take the next two days off. I'll tell the master. Now
go get some rest, you look like your energy was drained." Rance turned
around and walk away.

"Thank you." James said and went into the bedroom.

James locked the door and leaned against it. He looked at his bed and saw
his guardian spirit lying at the end. James went over and scratched behind
the spirits ears. The wolf made a groan of appreciation. "Where do you stay
when you aren't here spirit?" James asked.

The wolf perched it's head up, "I live in my own realm."

"Forgive me for asking, but do you have a name?" James asked.

"I do not. I have never had a name." The wolf answered back.

"Do you mind if I give you a name?" James asked again.

"I don't mind at all." The wolf started licking it's paw.

James started to think of names. He thought and thought, but couldn't think
of any names for his wolf spirit. "Well, I'll give you a name but I'm not
coming up with any at the moment.

James started to untuck his shirt and sing, "The world is changing..."

"You like to sing a lot ward don't you?" The wolf asked.

James smiled and nodded, "It helps me relax and soothes my heart. It's the
only thing that I can do to be in my own little world, especially now a
days."

The wolf got down off the bed, "Come with me."

The window's opened wide and a warm gentle breeze entered the room. The
spirit grew twice it's size. "Climb on my back and I'll show you
something." His spirit instructed.

James climbed on his wolf guardian, "Hold on tight." The wolf advised.

As soon as James had a good grip around the wolf's neck, they soon jumped
in the air and out the window. James had his eyes closed. He soon felt the
air blowing against his face. He slowly opened them to see the ground
below. James sat straight up. "Oh my god we're flying!" He gasped.

His wolf guardian smiled and went higher to the clouds. A rush came through
James. They broke through the clouds. James looked at the stars twinkling
back in his eyes. He started to feel light and calm inside. "Here try it
yourself." The wolf said and nodded his head.

James soon felt weight on his back. He looked back and saw a pair of
feathered wings. He looked back at the spirit and smiled. The wings soon
opened. James slowly rose off the back of his wolf spirit. For a while he
was gliding but soon started to fall. He started to panic. James thought to
himself, "Flap your wings you idiot!"

His wings started flapping and he gained his altitude again. He did a
couple of flips in the air and then tried a bomb dive. "This is so
fantastic and amazing!" He cheered.

"Look ahead." The wolf spoke.

James looked ahead of them and saw a glowing light. The light soon grew
bigger and engulfed them. After the light dimmed James opened his eyes. His
jaw dropped to see the majesty of the scene he saw. He looked over to the
wolf, "Where are we?"

"This is my realm where I rest." The wolf answered back.

"It's so beautiful!" Is all James could remark.

They soon landed. As soon as he was completely on the ground the wings on
his back vanished. "The hour grows late, and I need rest. You might need to
rest too." His wolf spirit suggested, "We will return before anyone awakens
so they don't think that you are gone."

James did start to feel tired after what had happened that night. James
laid on the ground as he felt the warm rays hit his body. The wolf curled
around James.

"WHAT!!!!" Naz yelled and his voice carried in the halls.

"I'm sorry sir but..." One of the masked men started to explain.

"I don't want to hear any excuses for incompetence, leave my sight before I
have you both killed." Naz lit a cigar in rage.

The two men left. There was a knock soon after. "Come in!"

"Sorry to bother you uncle but..." Arik was starting to say.

"Arik, we need that boy alive, not dead." Naz swung his chair to face his
nephew.

"Yeah uncle." Arik agreed.

"Then why did those two try to kill him?" Naz asked.

"I will take responsibility for their actions uncle." Arik spoke.

"No need. We need to come up with a plan to get this boy. He is the
definite key to the book." Naz blew smoke in Arik's face.

"So you want us to try to kidnap him?" Arik grew a smile.

"Bright boy Arik." Naz grinned.

"Oh before I forget your son's plane landed a few minutes." Arik reported.

"Send someone to pick him up, I have some business I have to attend to."
Naz got out of the chair and walked over to the window.

Arik turned and left the room. "No one will get in the way with what I
want. Not even Rance Towers will try to stop me."

~

Early the next morning the wolf was nuzzling James. Moans came from
James. The wolf then decided to lick James' face. James woke up feeling a
wet tongue on his face. "Yuck!" James wiped his face.

"Sorry about that, but it is time to get you back before anyone wakes up
and notices." His wolf spirit said.

James stood up and stretched, "Okay, I'm ready."

James got on his spirit's back and held on tight. The wolf spirit started
to run and jumped in the air. On the horizon the clouds were pink from the
sun's light.

When they landed in the manor grounds James sighed, "Thanks for last
night. I'm glad you're my spirit animal."

"I'm always with you when you need me." His wolf spirit faded.

James looked at the windows and saw all lights were out. He quietly went to
his room, making sure not to wake anyone up. He closed his door and turned
to his bed. He breathed a sigh of relief. He sensed that someone was in the
room beside him. He then smelled the air. "You can come out Rance, I know
you're in here." James started to take his clothes off.

Rance walked out of his hiding place. "Where were you?" Rance asked a
little displeased.

"Now before you start to interrogate me can this wait until later?" James
asked.

Rance kept looking at James. "Don't worry I was somewhere safe. I wasn't
even in this world okay?" James felt Rance's eyes burn on his neck.

"We will talk about this later." Rance said and left the room.

James flopped on the bed and sighed, "I'm really going to hear it. It won't
be pretty either."

A couple hours later everyone was up and about. Today was a day off
training to do what business needed to get done. James headed to the
showers. When he got in Vance was taking a shower. James tried to clear his
mind of any sexual thoughts from his head. He got undressed and got in the
other shower stall. "How does it this morning?" Vance asked.

"I'm thinking not off to a good start. Rance is pissed at me." James
replied as he was soaping up his underarms.

"You must have done something really good to get him pissed off then."
Vance laughed.

"You can sort of say that." James answered back.

Vance heard the tone in his voice, "Hey don't let it bother you. Rance
doesn't hold grudges. He will probably mellow down after a while."

"I hope so Vance, I hope so." James continued to soap the rest of his body.

A couple of minutes later Vance heard James humming 'Killing Me
Softly'. Vance joined him by singing the words, "Strumming my pain with
this fingers, singing my life with his words. Killing me softly with his
song, killing me softly with song, singing my whole life with his words
killing me softly with his song."

James smiled at hearing Vance sing and continued to hum with him. They both
got done at the same time. "You have a nice set of pipes Vance." James
complimented.

Vance turned a little red. He tried to hide his hard on under his
towel. James turned his back to Vance. Vance quickly put his underwear and
clothes on. "Well, I have some things to do today, so I'll see ya later
James." Vance headed out of the bathroom.

"Have a good one Vance." James smiled and then sighed as the door closed,
"Man, he and Rance both have a body to be worshiped. Thank goodness he
didn't see my hard on."

James finished drying and got dressed. He heard a knock on the door. Master
Zang opened the door. "Master Zang good morning." James smiled.

"I sense some very tense vibes from Rance." Master Zang said.

"Sorry Master, I'm afraid he isn't really happy with me." James started to
explain.

"Oh?" Zang became curious.

"Yeah, I went off the grounds, and didn't tell anyone." James felt a little
guilty.

"I see." Zang said back.

"But I was some where safe. My animal spirit took me to his realm." James
added.

"Never the less you made him worry, and he is totally impossible at times."
Zang commented, "Especially with the situation being as it is."

"I know." James sighed.

"Don't worry James, there are worse thing that can happen." Zang tried to
cheer James up.

James smiled a little and left. James went back to his room and turned on
his stereo and pushed play on the CD player. He started to hum with the
introduction of 'Shake Up the Party' by Joy Enriquez. He started to dance
around his room until he bumped into something. This scared him thinking he
didn't watch where he was going. He saw that he bumped into Rance. James
went and turned the stereo off. "Sorry about that Rance." James said
calmly.

Nothing was said between the two. "I'm sorry for leaving, but I assure you
I was safe. My wolf spirit took me to his realm and that were I was until I
came back here." James explained to Rance.

"That's fine, but I wished that you would of said something to me or left a
note. I thought something had happened to you, and I wasn't going to
forgive myself if you got killed or captured by them." Rance was firm in
his voice.

"Please don't take this wrong way Rance, but I am a grown man, if something
would have happened I'm not a child and need a parent or even a warden
around. I know that it's not safe for me to be careless with them wanting
to get their hands of me, but you also have to trust me." James said.

"Warden huh? Is that what you think I am?" Rance started to get steamed.

"No Rance you took that wrong. I don't need someone to watch my every move
I make of each second of every day. I do need my personal space and
privacy, just like everyone needs." James got a little more firm.

"Now I'm watching your every move?" Rance asked.

"I feel like it sometimes. If you stood back and think about it, I'm
basically a prisoner here Rance. I'm surprised I don't have to ask to go to
the bathroom without someone watching me." James remarked back.

"Isn't my protecting you or providing you with a safe place enough?" Rance
asked.

"I'm grateful for what you are doing Rance, but all I'm asking for is a
little privacy. I'm sorry if I feel this way but if this was happening to
you, what would you do?" James turned around asked looked into Rance's
eyes.

"I'm sorry if that's the way you feel, but you have to remember I have to
protect you." Rance said back, knowing that James was right and had a
strong point. However what of his needs and wants as well. Hadn't he
sacrifised years, decades, centuries. Waiting always waiting for the man he
now had beofre him. Was it really his fault that he wanted to cherish and
protect him now that he had him within arms reach?

"Do you really Rance? Was it forced upon you? Did you make that decision
yourself? I certainly didn't have a choice on what was going to happen to
me, it was planned for me. I don't get to have a choice. Think about how
I'm feeling. Sorry for being selfish." James slapped back in Rance's face.

"Fine do what you please, but if something happens to you don't blame me or
call for my help since you handle things by yourself!" Rance left and
slammed the door behind him.

For the rest of the time James just stayed in his room. He decided to take
a nap to ease his mind on what happened. It was about 8:32 when he woke up
to a knock on his door. James got up groggy and opened the door. "James
have you seen Rance at all today?" Vance asked.

"Not since early this morning. Why?" James tried to wake up.

"He's no where to be found." Vance was worried.

"What?" James quickly woke up, "Hopefully he didn't go far if he did go
somewhere."

Suddenly there was a crack of thunder. He heard Rance's voice in his
head. "What is it James?" Rance asked.

"It was Rance. He called my name. Something's wrong I can sense it." James
told Vance.

"We must go and search for him. I'll get the other's and start looking for
him. You take one of the cars James." Vance took charge.

James grabbed his coat and went with Rance. While driving he thought of
what him and Rance had said. "This is all my fault." Tears started
streaming down his face.

"I've got to find him, he's in serious trouble and needs help. I hope that
some of his family can help track him down." James thought as he drove his
car in the rain.

As he was turning a corner when something black ran across the road. The
object moved and stopped, it was a black wolf. The wolf stood there for a
second then ran finished going across the road. James sensed something from
when the wolf looked at him, "It's one of the Steveson wolves. Hopefully
they didn't cross paths with Rance. I would never forgive myself."

James turned the car around and turned the car and lights off, and ran in
the direction that the black wolf came from. "Lord, please let him be
okay." He thought to himself as he went around the pack of trees.

With the rain and the moon hidden behind the clouds made it harder for him
to see in the dark. "I can't tell where I'm going, hopefully his family is
having better luck."

All the sudden he heard a low groan. "Rance, is that you?" He called out.

There was no answer. James kept moving forward, and heard the groan
again. "Rance can you hear me?" He called out again.

Still there was nothing. James was soaking wet from the rain, he started to
lose hope, and knelt to his knees and started crying. "Why, why did I say
those things to him? I really didn't mean to hurt him." He had his hands
covering his face.

Then James heard a snap of twigs. He looked up and saw a wolf, staggering
to get down the hill. James got up and walked towards the creature. The
wolf was unsure of where it was going, or what it could see, for it was
losing blood and fast from it's wounds. The wolf finally gave up and fell
on its side. James quickly ran over to the collapsed wolf. As James
approached the wolf, he saw the wolf had many sever cuts and wounds. Tears
started coming out of his eyes mixing with the rain that was falling down
his face. James touched the wolf and it shifted into Rance. "Rance! Are you
okay? Can you hear me?" James asked out loud.

Rance opened his eyes to a crack and looked to his right and saw James face
with his hair drenched and straightened by the rain. As weak as he was he
drew some strength and grabbed James' hand and then fell unconscious. "No
Rance don't die on me! I need you, just like you need me, don't give up!"
More tears started to come out of his eyes.

"I must contact his family members and tell them I found him." He said to
himself and quickly sent a message to them, telling them where they were.

In the distance he heard cries of wolves. "I'm going to get you back your
house so we can get you out of this rain." He said with a determined grunt,
and picked Rance off the muddy ground.

As soon as he turned around he met two black wolves growling and showing
their fangs. "You're not stopping me, so get out of the way or suffer the
consequences." James was not putting up with anymore from the Steveson's.

The wolves ignored his warning and ran towards him. Lightning came from the
clouds and struck one sending it flying into a tree nearby. The other wolf
continued to charge at him. A whirlwind came and picked the wolf up and
tossed it around like it was a rag doll sending it hurtling up in the
treetops.

James carried Rance all the way to the car, and put him in the back
seat. "Don't worry I'll take care of things from here Rance, don't worry."
James looked over his should to the back seat and started the car.

When James was a mile away from Rance's home an escort of wolves followed
him on the side of the road, making sure that nothing happened.

James was sitting outside Rance's room waiting for the doctor to come
out. "I hope he's alright. This was all my fault." He started to cry more.

He buried his face in his hands when Vance came by and put his hand on
James' shoulder. "Don't blame yourself for this. You couldn't have possibly
of known that the Steveson pack were out there." He tried to reassure him.

The door to Rance's room open and the doctor came out. "How is he doc?"
Vance asked.

"He's stable for now, but suffering from major injuries. He needs his rest
so his body so the wounds can heal. I'll be back tomorrow, but if anything
else happens to him give me a call." Dr. Phillips reported.

"Thank you doc, don't worry we will." Vance showed Dr. Phillips to the
door.

When Vance returned James uncovered his faced letting more of his tears
streak down his face. Vance kneeled down in front of him. "Why don't you go
inside and see him. I think he might hear you if you go in and talk to
him."

James sniffed and got out of the chair and opened the door. He walked into
the dim lit room towards Rance's bed, seeing the bandages all over
him. James pulled up a chair on the right side of the bed and held Rance's
hand. "I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can, I'm sorry for
yelling at you and saying the things I said. I should of thought about your
feelings more then mine. It's all my fault that you ran out of the house in
a rage. I can't forgive myself for it." James said as he started to cry
more tears.

James leaned over and brushed Rance's hair to the side, "You know for being
as old as you are, you're still beautiful to me. I almost lost you to my
stupidity."

James buried his head in the sheets on the bed. Rance heard all the words
that James said slowly brushed James' face with his index finger. This
startled James, and he looked up and saw Rance's eyes where open. "Don't
think it was your fault. I had to blow of some steam so I thought I'd go
and run to cool down." Rance said in a raspy voice.

"But..." James was starting to say.

Rance put his finger over his lips so he could say no more on the
matter. James smiled and took both of his hands and held Rance's right
hand. "Come lay beside me." Rance motioned him to lay on the bed.

James took his shoes and socks off and laid beside him, cuddling close. "I
don't want to see anymore tears, you hear me, I want to see that smile on
your face." Rance tried to smile.

"Whatever you say, just get better." James said as he laid his head on
Rance's shoulder.

"Just get some sleep." Rance said, and started to drift to sleep.

After awhile of listening to him breathing, James slowly went to
sleep. Vance opened the door and saw them sleeping. He went over to the
lamp and turned off the light. As he was closing the door, he smiled at the
two.

During the night as they slept side by side there was a glow from James'
hand that was laying on Rance's bandaged chest. The light glow seem to
spread over Rance's body. Rance's breathing seem to slow down a little
going back to normal breathing. The glow soon faded away, and Rance opened
his eyes, and looked out the corner seeing James sleeping comfortably. He
smiled and thought to himself, "If it wasn't for him, I'd probably be dead
in the woods. I know he feels that it was his fault for me running off like
I did, but it was my way of clearing my head, and not wanting to hurt him
more."

Five more minutes passed and Rance's eyelids started to shut slowly. He
complied and fell asleep.

James woke up and looked at Rance, "Forgive me for being foolish and
selfish this once Rance."

James went to his room and grabbed his notebook and started writing. He
finished and went back to Rance's room and put the note on the nightstand
beside Rance. James looked back and smiled.

He closed the door behind him. James went and talked to Vance and Zang,
explaining his plan. "Are you sure about his James?" Zang asked.

"I'm certain. I'll still come here to train, but for the moment I don't
want what happen to happen again until this is all done and over with. It's
a selfish wish." James explained.

"It's not selfish of you James. It's what you're heart is telling you to
do." Vance smiled.

"Thanks Rance. If something should ever happen to me, my animal spirit will
come and tell you. He will bring you to me." James smiled to them.

His wolf spirit appeared, "Are you ready?"

James nodded his head yes and got on the wolf's back.

Okay people, like I said I'm so sorry for the wait. I hope work could calm
down. Things might get a little more hectic there, so most of my time will
be taken up with work, but don't fear, I'll try to type when I could.
Please send any of your input on the story so far. Every comment is
appreciated. I hope you all have a good one. Don't know when I'll get the
next chapter posted, but please be patient. I'm going to finish what I
started!! Thanks!!! I wanna personally thank my proofreader/editor Sonja.
She did a wonderful job with enhancing the story and giving me suggestions.
The songs that I didn't mention in the story are "You're Never Alone" sung
by Anastacia.
