"We wanted to find out why you turned down our invitation and why you got
most of the other guys to turn down their invitation also?"

"I did not talk to anyone and convince them to turn down their invitation.
I decided that because my friend didn't get selected I didn't want to join

had decided not to accept my invitation and why.  I did not ask anyone else

ever DECLINED our invitation.  So you can see how this situation needs to

We want to ask you to think about the choice that you made and understand

I could see that the guys were all getting a little more pissed as the
conversation went on.  I was starting to think that we might get the shit

"You are kidding right!  I am not trying to cause any trouble for you and
your organization, but I told you.  I thought about it and made my
decision."

The guy who nodded to Spencer stepped forward and started to talk.  "SO let
me get this straight, since we didn't invite your little friend here you
are going to turn down Omega Alpha Phi and all the benefits and honor that
comes along with it?"

"Hey guys, let's just drop this and move on.  You can have the guys that
showed up pledge and go from there.  Again, I don't want to cause any
trouble, but I am not going to change my mind, especially when you are
insulting my friend."

The guys stood there for a second and then the leader took another step
toward Troy and you could tell that he was so pissed.  He said in a low
voice.  "Whatever Mr. Big Shot Troy Anthony, You have made a huge mistake
fucking with us like this!  All because we did invite your little faggot
friend to join!  You just wait and see how fucked up that is.  Or maybe
you're a faggot too!  You are going to wish you never decided to come to
Eastman!  You don't get to FUCK with Omega Alpha Phi and get away with it
you fucking faggots!"

I could tell that Troy wanted to attack them!  I could see his hands
clenched and his face tightening, but he remained cool and didn't say
anything back!  The group stood there for a second and tried to show what
big men they were and then the leader snapped his fingers and turned to
walk away.  They all started laughing as they left and you could hear them
talking about Troy and me.  You could hear them saying our names and
fucking fags and we wouldn't want them anyway.  Who does he think he is and
shit like that?

Troy was so pissed.  He never loses his cool.  "Let's get the fuck out of
here!" He said as he headed to our room!

"Wait a minute!"  I said, causing Troy to spin around looking at me like I
was crazy.  "Why?" He asked.

"I want to see how much of this I got recorded!"  I said as I pulled up the

face.  He gave me a high five and said "Let's get back to the dorm and I
want to see that."  We quickly headed back to the dorm and called Brad and
told him to bring Ricky and Drew over to our room in 5 minutes.  We got to
the dorm and they were already outside our room waiting for us.  We all
went in and we explained what had just happened.  You could see Brad, Ricky
and Drew were all ready to go hunt these Frat fuckers down and kick the
shit out of them.  They were so pissed, but once they hear them call us
fags it was like the fuss went off and they wanted to go show them what
happens when you call one of their friends a fag!

It was really sweet!  They were so protective.  I also have to say it was
like Ricky had a new focus and I love to see that he seem to have forgotten
about his situation for the moment and want to protect his friends.

Troy calmed everyone down and said. "I think that we can have some fun with
this.  Let's beat them at their own game! They are going to fuck themselves
over by doing and saying the wrong things.  Even with just this video I am
pretty sure we could get them in deep shit, but my guess is this is just
the start of the stupidity that is going to ensue."

we played our cards right, we might even be able to get them kicked out of
school and their big Frat shut down.  We decided to go grab something to
eat and figure out our plan.

On the way to grabbing lunch I asked Troy if he thought that we should try

then he won't want to join the Frat anyway.

instructor, they would have a ton of people signing up for classes!  Brad

That is what they are expecting us to do.  They are trying to get us to
fight or fall for their stupid attempt to piss us off.  We made them look
stupid and now they are going to try to get us to do something stupid, but
I say we can out think them and beat them at their own game.  If they think
they look stupid now, they have no idea how stupid we are going to make
them look, which will be way more fun and might even get them kicked out of
school.  I wonder how people will react to them if they continue to push
the gay thing and harass and bully us.  Wonder if it went public and got
the media's attention if their Frat would get shut down and get them kicked
out of school?"

I could see the light bulbs going off in everyone's heads and we all sat
down and let Troy tell us about his plan.  I am not going to lie, Troy was

of all the other guys and let them know what was going on and see if they
had received any threats.

Troy made a few calls and made some connections to get some hidden cameras

Quitter".  They also said that Kyle got one too.  I didn't even know Kyle
got an invitation.  I told them a little bit about the plan and they all
said they were it to see if we could give the Frat guys a taste of their
own medicine.  Troy asked Brad if we could meet at his place and explain
the plan to everyone.  He said if we all met in our room it might be too
obvious.  Brad said that was probably a good idea so we said that we would
all meet at 8 in Brad's room.  We also invited Travis, Jake, Matt and
Hunter to fill them in on what was happening.  We wanted to ask them if
they would be willing to help as well.

As we came back from dinner I checked our mailbox and there was a note for
Troy.  I was afraid it would be from the guys from the Frat, but it was
from Gabe.  It asked if he could meet Troy somewhere to talk.  He wanted to
give Troy a heads up that the Frat was planning some crazy shit to get back
at the guys who had turned them down.  He said that they want to use the 3
guys who accepted the invitation to join plus they invited a few more guys.
He didn't want to help, but now feels caught in a really bad spot.  He left
his phone number and asked if Troy would call him.  "That is totally fucked
up!" I said as Troy finished reading Gabe's note to me.

Troy totally was planning on going to meet Gabe and didn't even think that
it could be a trap.  I was like wait up.  What if they want to get you to
meet and then do something to you!  What if this is part of the plan?  Troy
thought about it and then decided to re-think the situation.  He called
Gabe and asked him what he was thinking and if he could get any
information.  Gabe told him what he knew, but it sure was not the whole
plan and Gabe explained that he didn't know the whole plan.  That Spencer
had contacted him and told him that because so many of the guys had passed
on the invitation to rush the Frat they have decided to invite a group to
join and they will be starting the rush process tonight at midnight and
were going to get back at the faggots that thought they were too good for
them.

Gabe also told Troy that he did not want to be a part of this, but felt
like he was trapped and didn't know how to stop it.  Troy told him that he
would be willing to meet him, but he would need to come to us and be
willing to meet with all the guys.  Gabe agreed and said that we would meet
out Matt at a store off campus and that Matt would bring him back to the
dorm.

Later that night Brian, Trevor, Kyle, Brad, Ricky, Drew and I meet at
Brad's place.  Matt went to meet Gabe and we all sat there talking about
what they thought the Frat guys were going to do.  It was pretty calm, but
I could see that our two Marines were a little tenser as I think they just
wanted to go over to the Frat house and just kick in the door and kick some
ass!  We waited for Gabe to get there and Troy told everyone that there
were hidden cameras recording everything just to let them know.  They all
thought that we super cool.  He explained that he had contacted a private
investigation company and that they would be following the guys from the
Frat and we were going to bury these assholes.

Kyle asked if he thought that Gabe could be trusted and a few of the guys
also seemed to be thinking the same thing, but Troy explained that he
thought that he could and that if he couldn't there was no way he would try
anything with us all there.

I think I about shit my pants when there was a loud knock on the door.  It
was Matt with Gabe and once we opened the door they came in quickly!  Gabe
looked around and the look on his face was very telling.  He said "I am
sorry that I gave you so much shit before Troy!  These guys are fucking
assholes and they are super pissed that you guys turned them down. They are
really bent on getting revenge."  I could see it in Gabe's eyes that he did
not want to be a part of any of it.  He was trapped.  He said that the
other pledges that showed up and that one of the guys felt the same way
that he did, but the other guys were ready to do whatever it took to get
in.  One has an older brother that is in the Frat and was super pissed when
it looked like they were not going to take anyone this year.

Troy smiled and said "Gabe I understood the awful position you are in and I
am sorry that it has gotten out of control because the guys from Omega
Alpha Phi have let their egos get in the way.  If they would have just
moved on with the guys that were interested then they could have had some
dedicated guys that could have done great things for their organization.
It is sad that because there were a few guys turned down their invitation
they have come unhinged.  We have a few friends who did not get invited and
we understand that y can't include everyone, but if we are going to spend
the next 4 years giving a ton of time to an organization where some of our
friends are not involved then we have to make a choice weather that is
something we want to do or not.  I wish they could understand it has
nothing to do with them.  I know that the Omega Alpha Phi's are going to
ask you to do stuff to get back at the group of guys that decided to turn
down their invitation, but if you are willing to work with us and if you
think that the other guy who doesn't really want to participate would want
to work with us then I think that we could make sure that they don't treat
anyone else this way ever again in the future."

It was like Troy was stating everything for the record or something.  We
all knew what had happened and so did Gabe, but whatever.  Gabe said that
he was willing to do whatever to help.  So Troy told Gabe that he should go
back and participate in any way that he was asked to unless it was going to
cause us physical harm.  Troy asked Gabe if he would be willing to wear a
wire so that we could hear what was going on and it would tip us off as to
what was going to happen.  Gabe said that he was willing to do anything to
help.  Troy explained it would help us stay one step ahead.  He also told
Gabe to make sure that he keeps himself safe.  After about 20 minutes of
talking Gabe and giving him the wire, he was escorted out by Matt and that
is when Troy turned the TV on and pulled out his computer and said, "Ok
let's see how well this is going to work!"  He turned his computer on and
pulled up a page or something that had different cameras that were on line
and the wire that he gave to Gabe.  Matt was still with Gabe taking him out
the back entrance of the dorms and we could hear them talking clearly.
Gabe said "I totally realize these guys have lost it and are a bunch of
assholes so I hope that Troy's plan is going to work.  I don't want any of
those guys to get hurt.  Matt assured him that if he just keeps the wire on
and does what he is asked to do then everything will be fine.

This reminded me of the footage that Troy showed me when we first met.  I
knew that Troy had access to high tech shit and people, but it is still a
little crazy.  The other guys were very impressed and excited to take these
guys down.  Troy explained that we need to act normal and not let on that
we had a plan.  We talked and there was a buzz for like an hour and then
everyone went home!

The next day was Sunday and everything seemed to be normal until Troy got a
phone call from the team of private detectives that he has hired to capture
everything on video.  Troy finished the call and said I hate to tell you
this babe, but your tires all got slashed.  "WHAT!  ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING
ME?"  Troy was just calm and said "Its O.K., they are just tires!"  I
didn't know what to say.  I am sure the look on my face was priceless.  I
just sat there with my mouth open.  Then Troy said.  "They got the whole
thing on video and you can totally see the guys from the Frat doing it!
Spencer was there with the 3 guys pledging so they also have the whole
thing audio recorded from Gabe's wire. This is going to be easier than I
thought!  They are so fucking stupid!"  I relaxed a little but was still
wondering what the fuck I was going to do about my tires, then Troy said.
"Babe I will have someone come over and change out the tires.  The thing is
that if we can catch these guys doing enough stuff then we can go to the
school with the evidence and get them kicked out!  Tires are just a
material thing, plus once this is all done we WILL get them to cover the
damages."

Troy was right, it was just tires.  It still felt creepy to think that they
were trying to get back at us for something so stupid.  They seem to hate
us.  I don't like it when someone is mad at me or doesn't like me.  Troy
and I talked about it for a while and then he called everyone to let them
know what had happen.  Troy and I went out to my truck and it made me a
little sad to see it, to see that all of the tires on my truck had been
slashed.  Troy told me on the way out that we were going to have to play
along so that the Frat guys wouldn't suspect anything in case they are
watching to see our reaction.  I walked around the truck looking at it and
making it look like I was just finding out and was upset.  I am not going
to lie, it was not hard to "Act" like I was upset, I was!  We talked about
it and Troy pulled out his phone and made a phone call.  Within 15 min,
there was a guy in a tow truck with tires.  The guy talked to Troy and then
he got to work replacing all of the tires!  Troy told me that he took care
of the payment and that we could leave and then guy was going to call when
he was done.

We went and grabbed some breakfast and then as we were heading back to our
room we got the call that the guy was done with the truck.  We walked over
to check it out and pay for it.  Troy took care of the cost and we thanked
the guy for getting it done so fast.

We headed over to Matt and Brads room, but just as we got there Troy got a
call.  He seemed really excited and asked if we could come check it out
now.  He smiled and ended the call.  "We are going to close on the house
this Tuesday and start moving thing in.  If you guys want, we can all go
over and check the house out now?"  Everyone was super excited and we
headed down to the truck and headed over to the house!  The guys chatted
all the way over to the house.  They couldn't wait to see it!  I noticed
that Drew was kind of quiet and not saying too much!  He would add to the
conversation when he was asked or when the attention was on him, but not
like Brad and Ricky!  I don't think anyone else picked up on it, but I
could tell that something was on his mind!

As we pulled up to the house all the talking stopped as the guys saw the
house!  I stopped the truck and the guys got out and they all thought we
were joking that this couldn't be the house that we were talking about.  It
was fun to see hour exciting they got as they explored the house.

Drew kind of stayed back as Troy showed Brad and Ricky all over the house.
I came up behind Drew and asked him "Why are you so quiet?"  Drew didn't
say anything!  He looked at the floor.  Then he said "I want to stay so
bad, but I feel like I am just running away from everything back home."
"But it sounds like your family would be cool with you taking some time for
you?"  "Yes but I feel like you guys are all in college and are moving on
with your lives and I am stuck!"  The look on Drew's face was so sad!  I
wanted to hug him, but wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do, but
my brain just said fuck it and went in and gave him the biggest hug.  He
hugged me back so hard that I knew he needed it!  He may be a big tough ass
Marine, but he is still a person and needs to feel the love of others.  We
talked for a little bit and I told him that he sound just spend some time
thinking about what he needed!  I also told him that I was here for him if
he ever wanted to talk.  I let him know that I understand that he and Brad
are like brothers and that I don't ever want to come between that or try to
seem like I am trying to replace that, just that I am totally here if he
ever needed to talk!  We caught up with the others and Troy gave me a look
wondering if everything was ok.  I smiled and winked at him and he got the
message that I would fill him in later!  Maybe in more than one way!  We
all took our time checking out the house and thinking about all the things
we could do and the fun we were going to have.

As we headed back to the dorms Troy got a call from Gabe and he said "Make
sure that you guys all stay together tonight and don't go anywhere alone!
Keep your head up and be prepared!" then he hung up.  We were not sure what
he meant, but it was clear that something was up.  We got back to the dorms
and I suggested that we just stay in tonight!  Troy said that we can't let
them win and control us with fear.  He assured us that his plan was going
to work and that we should just make sure that we stay together and keep
our eye out!

We got back to the rooms and Drew decided to come over to our room for a
little bit to talk.  Brad and Ricky didn't have a problem with it and I
think they were hoping to take advantage of some alone time!  Matt had been
spending most of his free time with Hunter and the guys were pretty sure
the room would be empty!

Drew just wanted to talk.  He asked us what we thought about him moving
here.  Both Troy and I said that we were really hoping that he would
consider it.  We told him that we know that Brad and Ricky want him to move
here, but we did as well.  He is a great guy and now that we have heard
about his story and some of what he and Brad have been through we wanted
him to just take some time for himself.  I know that is what Brad wants
too.  Drew shared that he can't forgive himself and feels like he shouldn't
be able to be happy!  He misses his fianc? and needs to figure out a way to
deal with it.  Both Troy and I begged him to really consider moving here.
Give it the rest of this school year and see if it helps.  "If nothing else
you will be around a bunch of guys who love you and will help to cheer you
up and figure things out!"  Drew smiled and promised that he would think
about it.  He asked us not to tell Brad or Ricky and said that if he did
decide to move here he wanted to surprise them.  We agreed!

It was on our way home from dinner that we figured out what Gabe meant!  We
were walking in a group and a truck drove up and a bunch of guys with ski
masks on unloaded paint and water filled balloons on us!  I only got hit
once, but Troy got hit with four or five.  The other guys each got a couple
before the truck took off.  We called Jake and asked him to bring out some
towels for us.  We tried to dry off as much as we could and then just
stripped down to our underwear and went up to our rooms.  Troy and I helped
each other get cleaned up.

When we got out of the shower Troy had a message saying that they caught
everything on camera, even the guys taking their masks off.  The private
investigator said that Gabe was doing a great job informing them and looks
sad when the frat guys were celebrating their victory.  He also told us
that Gabe was punished as he only connected 2 times.  He hit me once and
Brad.  Each guy had their own color paint so that the Frat guys could tell
who hit the most!  Gabe hit the targets the least and the guys gave him a
hard time expecting him to hit the most being that he was the quarterback.
He said that the mask got twisted on his face as they stopped because he
lost his balance, but he was still punished.

It was not that big of deal and Troy let all the guys know that he thought
that it wouldn't be long before they could go to the school with the
information and get these guys in trouble.

I was so excited for Tuesday that I was not paying attention when we walked
into class on Monday and Mr. Frank was standing in the front of the class.
He looked like something was off.  My mind was racing and I looked over at
Troy and he also had a concerned look on his face.  The class seemed to
drag on and I felt like it was the longest class of my life.  It seemed
like none of the other students noticed that something was up with
Mr. Frank.  He just seemed off, kind of like he was not there. He was
leading the discussion, but didn't seem to challenge anyone on things that
they said like he used to.  After class most of the students took off
pretty fast.  I looked at Troy and said "We should go see if he is
alright."  Troy nodded.  One of the other students went up to tell
Mr. Frank that it was good to have him back.  He thanked her and smiled
even though his face looked so sad.  She left and Troy and I went up to
talk to him.  Normally he would have been watching Troy until he was out of
the room, but this time he turned and finished packing his things.  I think
he was a little startled when Troy spoke.  "Hey, Mr. Frank is everything
ok?" Mr. Frank turned around and tears were streaming down his face.  He
looked at us and then he looked at the floor.  "Just going through kind of
a rough time at home." He said as he looked at the floor and fought back
tears.  "Is there anything that we can do?" I asked.  He looked up and said
"I have just come out to my wife.  I am not sure what I am going to do.  We
have two kids and I am ruining all of their lives!"
