**So we ended the night with loads of food and entertainment.  I was worn out
And quickly got under the sheets next to Pieter and fell asleep in a flash.
In the morning I woke to the sounds of birds singing on the trees outside
our window.  The smell of bacon being cooked soon got my tummy rumbling as

chapter 4               A day with Markus.

Axel, Nickolas and Benny went to the spare bathroom and they all peed

Mom announced as she entered the den and sat with us.
Gran had made some open sandwiches with hard boiled eggs smothered in

**Hot sweet coffee was handed out and it was yummy. After we helped out
Washing the dishes we took off to Baydon's house.  "Hi guys, ready for

**Baydon yelled something to his uncle and soon returned with a round

**It was a 2 mile walk to the village and soon we found a small stone shop
that looked so old. A few wooden houses were next to the shop and
A baker's store. `It's not much but as you can see we are out in the
Country and the main shops are miles away." Noah told us all.
Inside the bakery we found some apple, blueberry and rhubarb pies
That smelt so yummy.


"Good morning children; are you wanting anything." The baker asked us.
"Yes, we would like a bag kanelbulle,{cinnamon rolls}, a bag of
lussebulle,{saffron buns} and a bag of kringla, {pretzel type cookie, Swedish
style} please." Baydon said in his native tongue. "Oh man, that
sounds so yummy." Pieter said as he asked for the same stuff and paid

**We went to the old store and checked it out seeing what was inside.
It was mainly food with some smaller items for around the house.
It was getting hotter so we quickly returned to our cabin and placed
our goodies in the kitchen. "Here Timmy, try our kringla and see if
they are different to the ones we have back home." Pieter said as he
handed Timmy a pretzel looking cookie that was covered in pearl sugar.


"Yum, yum, yum." Timmy gasped as he bit into his sweet cookie.
"I see you all went to the baker, so I don't need to bake anything
today." Gran said as she checked out the bags of treats.
"Yah, Baydon had to go there so we showed Timmy how we make things
over here and Baydon's uncle gave us some cheese he made in his barn."
Axel grinned as he showed gran the newly made cheese.


"Oh yes, I can make loads of special Swedish treats with this so
get ready for an how you say awesome dinner tonight." Gran smiled
as she put the cheese in a special container.
"Ok we are going for a swim so grab the cream and wait for us by the
lake." Pieter told everyone.


"I can't wait to see what gran makes." Axel said as he took off his

** So after a long day we finished with a few games on the X-box and then
hit the sack. Mom and dad would be leaving early tomorrow to head
towards Stockholm to see a client while they were in Sweden.

"Ok, but please don't call me stinky bum as I don't go and eat that

us an American breakfast today, we don't usually eat pancakes for
breakfast like we do back home so no fish today, just bacon, pancakes

face and then had a quick pee before heading to the kitchen. "Good
morning my grandchild I have a special breakfast for you as I know you

** We had a few chores to do before we could go and hang out with Markus
so we all helped out cleaning the house and going the washing of
clothes.  After gran said we all did a great job she let us head out
