Chapter 10          A day at Dedication Park.

We left off when Josh and Kinshi were asked if they wanted to attend a
picnic with Dashiki and Kamasuri as the boys just became new love brothers
and their parents decided to throw a Party for the boys.

"Good morning Uncle." Josh and Kinshi said together as they walked into the
kitchen just wearing their boxers.  "Good morning boys, sleep well."  Uncle

ushered into the sedan And drove to the park.  "Dashiki you look a little
sad my brother." Kinshi asked.  I'm happy for my brother but upset that I
couldn't join my love brother in our blessed union like Kamasuri did last
night." Dashiki mumbled under his breath.

"Oh Dashiki, you will be joining your bodies soon enough my brother, you
know it's an honour To be joined with all your brothers beside you and your
love brother will be pleased soon enough." Kinshi replied.

"Boys we have booked a marquee near the lake so let's take our picnic box
there and then we can Celebrate the bonding of love brothers." Mrs
Tackanara said.  Mr Tackanara waved as the other Love brothers arrived with
their arms filled with baskets of goodies.  "Josh-san, Kinshi this is
Kiama, Kamasuri's love brother and this is Nikko my future love brother."
Dashiki explained.

"HI guys, wow you sure picked some awesome love brothers." Josh panted.
`Hai Josh-san, We knew when we first bonded that it was going to be a love
for one another and I thank the Ancestors for joining us together." Kiama
announced. "My love for Dashiki grew when We started to show love for one
another at a meeting at our school. we knew we were Going to become love

All the parents found seats and sorted out the food for the picnic, the
boys walked to the Lake and fed the swans there as they chatted about last
night's events.  Kinshi my Brother how does it feel to live in Florida."

It was noticed that other kids around the lake saw Josh kiss Kinshi, some

"If you are shy about your love for someone then you need to show it more

you?" Kinshi remarked.  A yell from the marquee announced that lunch was
now ready for the boys, they ran screaming Towards the picnic area giggling
as they panted for breath.  `Kinshi could you please honour Us with a

Japanese and then in English as Josh was struggling a little bit with His

Now with the prayer said food was passed around, boys licked their lips as
Bento boxes were Handed to the boys.  Kinshi started to cry a little as he
bit into his snack.  `What's wrong Kinshi?"  Nikko asked.  "I'm sorry but
my mum used to cook food like this bento and I miss her." Kinshi sobbed.
"Kinshi, your love for your parents will be with you forever, never forget
them As they stand above us watching us grow." Kiama remarked.

Josh stood up and gave Kinshi a hug and a quick kiss sensing his loss of
his parents and knew He misses them heaps.  `Thank you Kiama, it's just
some things trigger my loss of My parents and that I try hard not to show
my sadness." Kinshi replied.

Kinshi was told he should not be ashamed to cry in front of others as it
shows that you cared about your family.  Josh thanked everyone for their
support and said Kinshi was happy to be part of his family and was well
loved.  Saki was opened and a small amount was given to the boys to
celebrate their bonding.

Boys being boys shoved sushi rolls and fried chicken down their throats,
drinking bottles Of coke and enjoying the togetherness of friends and
lovers.  "May I say that we have enjoyed Your company and you show true
love for one another and we hope that our sons show the same Love as you
boys do." Mr Tackanara quoted to Josh and Kinshi.

More food and drinks was consumed until everyone was full.  A game of
Frisbee was enjoyed by all, boys jumping around and catching Frisbees and
Passing them back again.  "Kamasuri we are happy that we met you at uncle's

your friendship."  Kinshi Said as he and Josh bowed to the boys.

It was time to leave the picnic area and return home, a quick clean up of
the picnic tables and Packing up the picnic baskets soon found the boys

parents." Josh Remarked as they climbed out of the sedan.  Dashiki and

thanking them for attending their picnic.

awesome."  Kinshi Grinned as he slipped his shoes off before entering

In a flash the wrapping paper Was torn off the box and then tears began to

"These are awesome Uncle but why did we get them."  Josh asked.  "Because

and thanked him for the Gift. Josh also thanked his uncle saying the

P.J's under the paper for you to take home as well."  Uncle Ushi quoted.

Lots of hugs went flying around the room; well it was hard to hug a sumo

not that Kinshi, it's Just that I'm getting a little older and my time is
up so that younger sumo wrestlers can Move in and take their turn being a
top sumo wrestler." Uncle Ushi gasped.  "Oh boy you will miss it then un
cle, what will you do then uncle." Josh wanted to know.

"Oh I will be training new boys in my stable; I have a few already and one
looks like he will be a top Sumo in a few years." Uncle replied. We hugged
uncle Ushi one more time and then headed for the Shower and gave some
brotherly love for one another.

"Before we leave I want to go to the U.S embassy to see the house one more
time."  Kinshi said as he kissed Josh on the lips. "Sure Kinshi, we can do
that."  Josh remarked.  "Thanks josh-san, I just want to send my respects
and take a stone from the garden as A remembrance of my time there." Kinshi
muttered as he cried into my arms.

Man it must be hard to lose your family members like that and now only have
an uncle As your blood relative.  We sent our seed splashing onto the

"Hey you guys have to come over and spend some time with us in Florida and
see our theme park sometime." Josh said. "We would love To come over but we
are unable to afford such a hummable event."  Dashiki replied.  "Not a

our theme park."Kinshi quoted.  "We do not know what to say my love

The press was trying to ask uncle how he was feeling right now And why was
he retiring.  The head sumo wrestler {our uncle} Was blessed by the priest
and so were we as we entered the sumo Chambers.  Uncle had to get ready for
his last fight so us boys Were ushered to the front of the ring enjoying
the box seats with all The drinks and snacks we could eat during the show.


"Wow this is going to be one heck of a day for uncle, I bet he is Wishing
it was over right now." Kinshi quoted.  "Yeah he looked Like he was ready
to throw in the towel like they do in boxing." Josh Remarked.


"Ladies and gentlemen the fights about to start please stand for The
national anthem." The announcer said.  We did and when it finished All the
sumo wrestlers walked out from behind the curtains and entered The ring.
Cheers went up when uncle was the last wrestler To enter the ring and bowed
to his fans.


We watched the wrestling for a while and being entertained by The fans as
they chanted and waved flags.  Time flew by and then the fans Saw uncle
walk into the arena and all of them stood up cheered his name And then
bowed to him.  Us boys had tears flowing as uncle Ushi Thanked all of the
fans and said he was saddened to retire but he had To move on and let a new
champion take over his lead as the head sumo Wrestler.


The fight started with uncle throwing salt around the ring then grunting
And sounding off.  He stamped his feet then ran towards his Opponent.  He
won of cause as that was the tradition.  He fought 4 more fights until he
finished his round.


Everyone stood up clapping and cheering as Uncle Ushi bowed to the Priest
and other officials as he took his payment for winning his Match fight. A
small boy just wearing a loin cloth walked to the Huge man and handed him a
bunch of flowers.  Both bowed to one another And then Uncle Ushi waved us
boys to the ring and told everyone That we were his nephews and that we

Flashes from cameras popped in front of our eyes, more clapping and cheers

kimono, and then waited For a few more photos until the limo arrived to

We entered the restaurant as more flashes hit us in the face.  Ushered to a
huge table we found uncles best friends waiting there For him, a warm
smiling man walked to the table speaking fast in Japanese Welcoming the
huge sumo wrestler to his restaurant.


Saki's and beers flowed as food started to be brought to the table.  Our
eyes lit up as a near naked woman walked towards uncle Ushi And kissed him
on the cheek.  "Boys close your eyes, your too young to see this." Uncle

stone that has a special meaning for him.
