Chapter 24                                    The day the boys stood still.

as your dad is so upset he asked me to tell you about your mom." The
ambassador groaned.

"Oh god no, not mom, please not mom." Josh cried. Kinshi was holding onto

well. Both boys sobbed as Walter and Mickey entered the room seeing their
friends in tears. "What's wrong pops" Walter asked. "Boys come outside and

what are we going to do dad." Walter replied. "Well son their dad as asked

Orlando ." His dad remarked.  "Well we better get them packed and be ready

lost another parent.

walked to the dining room finding Walter and Mickey sitting at the table.

sorted out a jet for you to travel back to Orlando so you have a few hours

After a warm breakfast the boys packed their bags and made sure that
everything was ready for their trip home.  The jet would refill in New
Zealand and then head to Orlando Florida.  "Boys it's time to ride to the
airport." The ambassador said as he ushered us to the front door. It was
raining and a crack of thunder clapped as we entered the limo.  Walter and
Mickey sat beside us as we travelled to the airport and looked at us with

sorry that we had to end our holidays but one day we will see each other

"We are here boys; the jet is ready to leave in 20 minutes so we better see
the customs and immigration officers that are waiting by the jet.' Walter's
dad said.  After showing our passports and getting them stamped saying that
we had left the country we placed our luggage on the trolley and said our
good byes to the boys and Walter's parents. "Josh, Kinshi it was good to
see you all again and I know that Walter and Mickey will be sad to see you
go and we will too as you are a great friend to our son and his cousin."
Walter's mom said as she hugged us and gave us a huge kiss as she cried

The captain waved to us to say that the jet was ready to leave. We gave
everyone another hug as we walked to the jet and waved as we walked up the
stairs to the doorway.  "We love you all." We yelled as the air hostess
gently moved us to our seats.  The jet started as we looked out of the
windows and watched as Walter and Mickey moved back from the jet.  Tears
began to flow as we taxied to the runway. Now buckled in we waited for the
jet to take off, ten minutes later after the jet was at the required height
the hostess came over and asked if we wanted a drink as we waited for
breakfast to be served.

It was a smooth ride to New Zealand and after 30 minutes refuelling we took
off towards Orlando.  "Um Kinshi it is going to be hard to see dad and our
brothers after we arrive and I don't know how to handle myself." Josh

but our family will need us to be strong and show that we cared about mom

dad announced. "Um dad can we put the presents that' we bought in Australia

tomorrow." dad said.

say their goodbyes.

Dad was crying as he said his goodbyes to his wife and placed a single

and locked ready for burial.  We left the funeral home and went to a

Mickey?" Craig asked as we drove home. "Yes we did Craig, it was fun
