Chapter 5          "It's international day at camp."

After a long day with some local boys they met at the mall the boys woke up
to a trumpet blowing An awful tune, it was worse than the buzzer they
usually used to wake up the campers.  One by one the boys woke up finding

After getting dressed the boys went to the dining hall Waiting for the
doors to open.  While they waited Josh saw a sign about an international
dinner the Camp was having tonight.

"Hey guys check this out, we are being asked to give some ideas for our
favourite international foods We like to eat." Josh sounded off.  Kinshi
eyes lit up as he was in need of some Japanese delights.  "Well it says we
need to present some menus for the dishes we like the most and the camp
will pick The best ones for our dinner tonight. Harry gasped.

The boys walked to the servery and picked out their breakfast dishes seeing
cinnamon toast and Hash browns in the heat proof dishes.  Bacon, French
toast, scrambled eggs and mini sausages were Being piled onto their plates.
Kinshi had a few slices of bacon and mini sausages plus a bowl Of muesli
that the doctor ordered him to eat.

"Hey Kinshi, Are you going to make a menu for the dinner tonight." Walter
asked. "Hai, Walter-san I hope they pick mine as I sure miss my sushi
rolls." Kinshi quoted.  "I want a meat pie covered in Tomato sauce plus a
plate of chips {French fries}. "Skippy yelled out.

  "You and your meat pies Skippy, I tried one when Walter took Kinshi and I
to the mall one time And it was a weird looking pie that tasted real
strange." Josh remarked. "I bet you never knew That most kids in Australia
are brought up eating a meat pie covered in tomato sauce." Skippy Replied.

"That is just the start of it, have you ever tried vegemite on toast. Man
that stuff sticks to the roof Of your mouth and it is so salty plus it
tastes real gorse." Walter explained.  "Hey babies are given Vegemite on
toast so they get used to the taste of it." Skippy announced.  "I can see
why, they can't Complain at that age." Harry laughed.

Breakfast was quickly eaten and as they finished the boys were reminded
about the international Dinner and were told to send their menus by lunch
time so that the cooks can make sure they have All the ingredients to cook
their meals.

Returning to their cabin the first thing the boys did was to undress and be

write up our menus and then send them to the printer." Craig Explained.

Josh and Kinshi started on their menus making sure they covered all of

was racking his mind for the best meal he liked and ended up writing down

always cooked on a Sunday for lunch.

Walter was in love with Italian food so he made a menu for a pasta dish
that contained meat balls And pasta covered in melted cheese.  Skippy wrote
a menu for his favourite meal and that was Lamb cutlets with mashed
potatoes covered in brown gravy. Craig went for a chilli dish that his Mum
would make at special events so he asked her for the ingredients so he
would have the Right description of the dish.

It was time for morning tea as the British called it so dressed in their
Japanese loin cloths the boys Entered the dining hall holding their recipes
and placing them into the special box next to the servery.  Eating cakes
and drinking cool aid the boys quickly finished their snacks as they wanted
to use the pool for a while and just relax in the cooling water.

Just a few minutes' walk to the pool the boys undressed and placed their

since we arrived at the pool." Harry remarked. "He looks lonely just
sitting there, Maybe Walter could go over and ask him to join us in the
water." Skippy quoted.

"Ok I'll go but If he's some sort of freak then you will have to deal with
me."  Walter groaned.  "Just ask If he would like to join us, it's not like
you are asking him for some sex." Craig laughed.  So Walter walked out of
the pool and headed towards the young boy sitting in the chaise chair.

"Hi I'm Walter, I just noticed that you have been watching me and my
friends and they asked me To see if you wanted to join in on some fun

asked.  "Sure have, all the kids at my school said they want to Go and see
it and most are trying to win a ticket in the Lego competition." Chip
replied.

"Well have you made something out of Lego yet and sent it to our web site."
Kinshi asked.  "I have and I am waiting for a reply as it was a week ago
since I sent it in." Chip told the Boys. "Uh well we have to check our web
site tonight as we are the ones that are running The comp so I bet we will

The group of boys entered the dining hall and found an extra chair for chip
to sit with them.  As the boys waited for the servery to open the P.A
address sprang to life as the director told the What food would be cooked
tonight for the international dinner?  `Now guys we have a menu Posted on
the wall so check it out when you leave so you can see what we will have
tonight."  The director said.

We ate a boxed lunch that had a ham and cheese sandwich, a slice of pizza
and some fruit. A boxed Fruit juice was also placed inside; it was a
pineapple and orange juice that I liked the most. Kinshi Swapped with Harry

Better now as he enjoyed being around the guys from Orlando.

When lunch was over the gang went to see the menu list for tonight's dinner

his roast dinner as well.

It was going to be a late dinner so the guys went to the lake and found a
few row boats by the pier In no time all the boys were floating around the
