"Oh my god!" I said feeling my very soul grow fearful. "What is that thing?" Donny asked. "Bad, bad trouble." I said. A huge dark mass was in the sky illuminated by the moons glow. It looked like it was in orbit but it was immensely huge. It had to be about ΒΌ the size of the moon if not a little bigger. "Adrien get your dick out of Carry and come to my room now!" I thought to Adrien and a minute later I had a knock at my door. I let him in and he looked surprised. "What is it? You sounded urgent." He asked. "Look." I told him and pointed to the sky. He looked with his dark eyes to the sky and said, "I think it has begun." "What has begun?" Donny asked. "Extinction." I said in a low breath. "Huh?" Donny asked again. "More monsters Donny and lots of them." I told him and he then looked scared. "Adrien I think we need that internet connection up and running like now. If there are others out there who don't know about the second invasion we need to tell them." I told our hybrid. "I agree. We need information about delivering a baby as well. Carry seems to be accelerating in her pregnancy faster than she should. Maybe it is the alien genes doing it I'm not sure." Adrien said. "I noticed she was looking a little big for being so early in pregnancy." I said. "Yes it seems she is nearing the third trimester already. She should only be just starting to show her belly now. He clicked on the next address and it was a recent posting of some one in the immediate area. "Hey it says the virgin islands. That's like right around here. Lets see what I says, it's dated like a week ago." I told Adrien. "Please if any one out there reads this I am desperately running low on food. If you can help me please I will be indebt to for ever. I am alone and scared. My parents left last week for a trip to find food on our boat and I haven't seen them since. I'm not sure if this message will even get out but if it does I hope some one sees it." Te message said. "Wow a week ago. That means it's been 2 weeks since they seen their parents. Possibly another private island like this one with a home on it." Adrien said. This put me in a moral conflict. Should I decide to risk all our lives to help some one nearby that I wasn't even sure was still alive? "Dammit I don't want to do this but I think we should at least check it out. What do you think?" I asked. "I'm not sure. I can't sense the person or anything of the sort, but I agree we should check just to be sure. I would feel terrible to know we may have let some one die that didn't need to." Adrien said. "Ok then if we go then we do it now. You saw that ship up there it's huge. If they spot us during the day we're fucked. At least we have the dark of night on our side if we go now." I suggested. He agreed and we made a quick plan of action to go to the island that was mentioned. Adrien woke Carry and filled her in on what was going on and she didn't like the idea but went along with it. I thought it may be best to take Chris with us for his super ears so I woke him and told him as well. The three of us got dressed and grabbed some weapons and quietly went out to the ship. Adrien brought along a portable cloaking generator he made to hide us from any monsters or robots that may be around to see us. We also brought some food and water along with a medical kit just incase we did find some one alive. Adrien linked his mind to the ship and it then came online. He turned on the ships own cloak and made us invisible to the world. We set off the fourty or so miles to the island to see what we could find. We traveled slowly so not to raise suspicions and it took nearly an hour to get there. "Look there it is. It is a small island like ours." Chris said. "A little smaller actua lly." I pointed out. "Look there." Adrien pointed out a shipwreck that was crashed against some rock near the island. "You think that's what happened to the parents?" he said. "Maybe, but lets keep looking and see what we find. Lets land on the beach and take a look around." I said. Once on the ground we turned on the portable cloaker and set off looking for this person who sent the internet message. Chris got on his hands and knees and put his ear to the ground. "I hear some one breathing I think. It sounds like they're asleep." He said. We raised our guns and followed Chris who followed the faint sounds of breathing he could hear. He led us to what looked like a small cave near the base of a tree in the brush. I looked at Adrien and he at me. "You sense it now to don't you?" he said and I nodded. "Sense what?" Chris asked. "What you are hearing." I said. "Hello can you hear me? We're here to help." I said into the cave. There was no answer though. I gave Chris my gun and slowly stepped into the opening to a small hollowed out area under the base of the tree above. I flipped on my light and saw some one huddled up against the wall shaking in sheer terror. "We're here to help. We saw your internet message and came to help." I told them. "You're not going to kill me?" the voice said. I then knew it was a kid. A young kid in fact. "No we aren't going to hurt you come on out." I told them. I focused my eyes and saw it was one of the alien scouting robots. "Fuck that's all we need right now." I said. "Should I destroy it?" Adrien asked. "No if we do that then they'll know some one is alive here. We don't want to lead then to our home." I said. We sat there then fro nearly an hour and waited for the robot to do its surveying and lift off into the sky flying straight up. "Let's get the hell out of here now." I suggested. It was almost day break by the time we got home. We were greeted at the door by Carry and her brothers. "Who is that?" Cole asked. "A survivor we found." They are going to exterminate us from orbit." I said getting scared. This was one thing that we couldn't fight against. "They are only destroying areas that they are detecting life signs near." Adrien said. "Dude are you 100 percent positive that that cloak is going to hide us from them?" I asked him. "Yes. They haven't found us yet have they." He said.
