Subject: apocalypse    chapter 33

Ok now things get weird and twisted in the story. Lets see if you can spot
some of the odd things in this chapter that tie into past chapters. Like
always read on and enjoy.


chapter 33


I opened my eyes after a well needed sleep to see AJ's face. "What time is
it?" I asked looking at the window to see it wasn't quite daylight
yet. "About 6. Dude you gotta wake up. Adrien might have done something
stupid, come on you gotta see." He told me. I got up and felt very sore and
stiff and my head didn't feel all that great either. I went with AJ out
side to the ship where Adrien was. "What the fuck?" I asked seeing one of
the monsters robots in the cargo hold. "Where the hell did it come from? I
asked. "We got it a few hours ago on the mainland." Adrien
explained. "Wait, WE? Who is we?" I asked. With out saying a word AJ raised
is hand and had a guilty look. "You mean you two went out in the ship by
yourselves and caught a fucking killer robot? What the fuck were you
thinking? And why did you bring it here?" I asked getting fuming mad. "It
was a time sensitive issue. We had to go on a moments notice. I was going
alone until Carry begged me to take some one along. I just figured Adam
would be a wise choice since his eyes worked in the dark like mine." Adrien
explained. "But why bring it here?!" I huffed. "I am going to reprogram it
and send it to the mother ship of the monsters. We'll run it remotely from
the basement. Maybe we can find some information on their ship that will
help us." He said. It was a good idea but I still couldn't believe they
went out like that with out others going to. "Adrien I get the idea, but
you guys know just as well as I do that it was a dumb ass thing to do. What
if there were monsters there or something? They could have killed you both
and we would never know what the hell happened." I said scolding them. I
could tell AJ was feeling bad about it, but I don't think it quite sunk
into Adrien. It was like the ends of getting the robot out weighed the
means and dangers of getting it. I walked out of the ship and back to the
house but AJ caught up to me before I walked in. "Dude I'm sorry I didn't
really want to go in the first place. He said he needed my help and it was
life or death so I went." He told me. "so what exactly was the reason he
told you?" I asked. "That there was survivors and he was going to find
them. All we found was that robot though." He replied. "Well I hope he gets
the damn thing working so the trip was worth risking your lives. Man you
gotta think of your brother when you do stuff like that. How would Donny
feel if you got killed?" I said to him. "I...I never thought about that."
He said getting choked up. "It's cool. Don't worry about it, your home safe
now I guess. Let's get some rest and let him mess with that robot." I
suggested.

Adam went to his room and I back to mine for a few more hours rest before I
was woken up again, this time by Zack. "Hey kiddo wassup." I said rubbing
my eyes. "Nuthin. Casper asked me to come and get you so I did." The little
guy replied. "Ok squirt I'll be down in a few." I told him as I poked him
in his ribs making him giggle. He scurried out of the room laughing all the
way. Once more I got out of bed and stretched out then went to the basement
to see what was going on. "What now?" I asked Adrien. "It worked." He
replied. "Ok, what did?" I asked again. "I have reprogrammed the robot." He
replied. "Ok fine, but just so you know I'm kinda pissed at you. You
shouldn't have left in the ship like that at night." I said. "I know and I
apologize, but like I said it was a time sensitive thing to catch this
robot." He told me. "I20have programmed the robot to run remotely from this
controller and we can use the ROOM to see what it see, kind of like we are
it so to speak." He said. He picked up some kind of controller he built
then we stepped into the ROOM together. He pushed a few buttons and the
ROOM came to life with a 360 degree view of everything around the robot. "I
disabled the locator beacon on it and it is now totally under my
control. They would have to take it apart to find that out." He said. "Ok
so what now?" I asked. "This." He said before pushing a button and then the
robot shot upward into space on it's way to the monsters mother ship. "Wow
this is trippy. We're in outer space. I wonder if this what it was like for
Chris in here on his space trip." I remarked. "Close but this is real. What
we are seeing is real what Chris saw was a program." He said. Closer and
closer we grew to the enormous ship and it seemed to get bigger and bigger
and seemed to go on forever. We found the entrance and the robot then went
inside. "Ok we are in now to look around." Adrien said. "Dude that ship is
so big it'll take forever to find something useful." I said. Adrien piloted
the robot around hall ways and through openings and we saw several of the
monster as we passed them by. "Look an access point." He said pointing
ahead of us to something on the wall ahead of the robot. "What's that?" I
asked. "I can tap into it with the robot and find things on the ship." He
said. The robot hooked up to the connector and we now could access ships
information. It cam up on a screen in some kind of writing I couldn't read,
but Adrien could. "Ships engines, living quarters, armory, food stock, food
breeding." He read off. "Wait food breeding what the hell is that?" I
asked. "Let's see." He said then began reading on. "It's where they keep
still living humans they caught that are fit for breeding so they can keep
a food stock going." He said. "You mean they got people up there alive that
they're making breed just so they can have more food to eat?" I asked in
horror. "Apparently so. I'm going to make the robot go there to see what we
can find out." He said. It took a long time of going through the big ship
till he found where we were going. "Here it is. You may want to brace your
self. What we're about to see might be horrific." He warned me.

The robot entered the chamber and there were cages for as far as we could
see. "Oh my god." I said in awe of the scale of the operation. The robot
continued on and we saw people bound and confined to very small spaces, but
they were still alive. They didn't look to b e in very good condition but
they were alive. The only thing I could compare the sight to was the films
I saw from concentration camps of world war 2. The people were all boney
and looked to be on the verge of death. It looked to be that they had male
and female separated and also separated people depending on physical
development. At first we saw older people. The middle age adults were next
and down it went all the way to kids like us. "Damn Adrien we gotta help
them people." I said as I felt my eyes tearing up. "I don't know how we can
do that right now. I do agree with you that we need to try, but I don't
know what to do." He said shaking his h ead. When we got to the section
that held the younger kids it was hard for me to watch. Several were dead
where they lay and others looked close to it. "STOP! STOP! THERE! LOOK!" I
shouted to him. He stopped the robot and pointed it where I was
pointing. "OH my god! Alicia! Holy shit she's still alive!" I
shouted. Adrien accessed the controls to her cell and found out what the
monsters said about her. "She is scheduled for summary termination in two
days. Oh no..." he trailed off. "What?! What?!" I begged. "She is pregnant
and they plan on taking the baby before terminating her." He said. "Fuck
man we have to do something! Like now!" I yelled. "What Derrik ? What
exactly do you want me to do? There's no way we can get on that ship!"
Adrien yelled at me. He had never raised his voice like that so I knew this
was getting to him to. I was frustrated, scared, and mad all at once. "Wait
I got an idea. You said we'll never get on that ship right? What if we
hijack one of their small ships and use it to get there?" I
suggested. "Intriguing idea. We will have to find one nearby and figure out
how we will make it to the holding area to get her." Adrien said. "Well
remember you can make yourself invisible now, and we have the alien
cloaking device. The two of us can go and sneak in. When we get to her then
I can use the cloak t o hide her and then we sneak back out." I said. "Good
idea, but I believe a diversion may help." Adrien suggested. "What if we
contacted the other Aliens to see if they can aid us some how." He said. It
was a good idea to have their attention drawn to something else while we
snuck in. the two of us took each others hands and concentrated on
contacting the god aliens once more. This time it seemed to work easily for
us, maybe because of Adrien's new abilities. "Ok they agree to help. They
will attack the ship as we are trying to get inside. They will try to keep
the attack going until we escape and are safely away." He said giving me
the news. "Ok great let's tell the others then go find us some monsters
ship to steal." I said running out of the ROOM.

"EVERY ONE IN THE LIVING ROOM NOW!!!" I screamed through the house. In
seconds the others were filing in the room as fast as they could. "What's
wrong?" Carry asked as she walked in. "She's alive! She's fucking Alive!" I
shouted. "Who? What are you talking about?" AJ asked. "Alicia is still
alive!" I said loudly. Every ones mouth dropped open in amazement. "Where
is she?" Phil asked. "On the monsters mother ship. Look it's a long story
but we know she's alive." I said smiling. "Ok listen up now. If we are
going to get her back then everyone is going to have to help on
this. Adrien and I are going to take a small monsters ship up to the big
one then sneak in and get her back while the good aliens attack them as a
diversion." I said. I went on to tell them some of the details and what
horrors we saw up there. Most of the others were all for rescuing her,
especially Phillip. He asked to speak to me in private so I did. "Derrik is
she ok? I have to know, is she..." he started to ask. "Yeah she's alive and
she's still got the baby." I told him. "Please get her. I have to know if
the baby is mine or Gavin's it's been eating me alive wondering about it."
He begged. "Ok Phil we'll do our best." I reassured him. He now had tears
coming out of20his squinting eyes. We went back to the others then Adrien
and I laid down the plan of action. Adrien, Josiah, Chris, and I were going
to find a ship. Everyone else was to stay here and wait for us to bring the
ship back. AJ was bumbed about not going, but I explained to him that if
this didn't work then everyone would need him to carry on as the appointed
leader of the group. He understood and so did everyone else. The four of us
got dressed and ready quickly then said good byes to the others possibly
for the last time. I hugged and kissed everyone goodbye and there wasn't a
dry eye in the house. "I love you. Please tell the baby about me if we
don't come back." Adrien told Carry before kissing her bye. "Donny and AJ
hugged their cousin Josiah goodbye incase this was the last time. "Take
care of `em Joey. We love you." Adam said in Josiah's ear. We then left our
home and got in the ship to search for an alien craft to steal.

Adrien tuned into the monsters brains and searched out a group of them some
where in Mexico near the coast. It didn't take us long to get there and we
landed close by with the ship cloaked. "I sense 3 of them closeby." Adrien
said. "He's right I can hear them." Chris said. "Ok everyone get your game
faces on and have them guns ready. We left our ship and snuck up as close
as possible to the monsters. We got about 30 yards away and one of them
picked up or cent. They all jumped up and began to rush towards us. Chris
and I were about to blast away with the guns when the monsters stopped in
their tracks. I then noticed Adrien had his hand extended towards them and
had a pissed off look on his face. I could tell the monsters were
struggling but he had a tight grip on them with his powers. The next thing
I heard kind of scared me. It was the sound of bones cracking and breaking
as Adrien crushed the life out of the monsters with only his thoughts. The
three dead corpses fell to the ground and he lowered his hand. "Wow I'm
glad you're on our side." Chris said. "Come on let's check the ship out and
get the hell out of here." I said. I found the controls of the ship seemed
to be pretty simple in nature. "Ok I think I can fly this thing. You guys
go with Adrien incase something happens." I told Chris and Joe. The three
left the monsters craft and I closed the hatch behind them. I waited till I
saw Adrien uncloak our ship nearby then I got the monsters ship going. It
flew like it was designed for a videogame. To me it was just like playing
playstation to fly it, much easier than the ship we had that the others
were in. Adrien got closer to me then turned on the cloaking field to
surround both ships to hide us. It didn't take us long to get back to the
island where we landed both ships on the beach. The others poured out of
the house to see the new acquisition we had. We went over the plan time and
time again to make sure we had it down. The only bad thing about that was
the more we argued over the planning it meant the less time Alicia had
left. "Look stop ok. Enough of this arguing shit. You guys have a plan just
go with it, she's running out of time." Carry pointed out. "Alright, you
ready for this?" I asked Adrien. "No, but lets do it." He said telling the
truth. I was scared shitless to but he had to do this. Adrien went and got
the glove of doom and I got a gun and the cloaking device and we told
everyone goodbye once more before getting in the alien ship. The others
watched as the ship lifted off the beach and we were on our way upwards.

It didn't take us long until we had the enormous ship in sight. "Wow this
is a trip. We're in outer space heading maybe to our deaths to help a
friend. You scared?" I asked being sarcastic trying to break the
tension. "Scared? Me? Never." Adrien answered, but I knew he was just as
scared as I was. As we got closer to the ship the aliens took control of
our craft and guided it in the last little bit. "Ok I was counting on
this. Let's get ready so when they open the doors it will look like no one
is inside and the ship came home automatically." Adrien said. I turned the
cloaking device on and I was now hidden from view. Adrien closed his eyes
and before my eyes he vanished from sight. "Wow! I still say that's one
hell of a trick." I told him. "Ok, but from now till we leave we only
communicate mentally." He suggested. Just as our ship was entering the main
bay in the mother ship the good aliens started their diversionary
attack. Our ship was quickly=2 0docked and the doors to the outside of the
ship closed. "Ok it's on now." I told Adrien. The door to our ship opened
and one of the monsters peaked inside. When it saw nothing it turned and
left the ship and we now had our chance. The two of us left the ship
keeping in contact mentally so we knew exactly where the other was, kind of
like mental radar. It took us some time to walk to where the prisoners were
stored but we got there with no problem. As we searched the view we had at
hoe in the ROOM didn't do justice to the real thing we saw in front of
us. The conditions could only be compared to being in hell. Dead bodies
were every where, people close to death in many cells, and others sitting
looking like they were read to die. We made our way to where Alicia was and
found her with little problem. "Alicia can you hear me?" I whispered next
to her cell, but I was still cloaked. "Is that you god? Please take me
please." She begged. "No it's me Derrik, don't you remember me?" I
whispered. "Great now I'm going crazy, now I'm hearing voices." She said to
herself. I looked around and saw the coast was clear for the moment so I
turned my cloak off. Here it's me I'm here. Me and Adrien are here to
rescue you." I said quietly. "Are you really there or am I losing it?" she
asked starting to cry. "I'm as real as you . Hang tight we'll get you out
of here in a minute." I told her. "Derrik please stop wait." She said as I
started to leave to find a way to get her out of her cell. "What is it?" I
asked. "Please save to two over there to. I can't leave them behind." She
said pointing to the cell behind me, which was across from her cell. "I
don't know if I can." I whispered. "Try please." She begged. "Ok, ok
shhh. Be quiet. The monsters don't know we're here." I told her and she
calmed down some. I cloaked myself once more and asked Adrien how to get
her out of her cell. "I have the glove with me. It should be no problem to
bend those bars for it." He told me mentally. I stepped aside and then saw
the bars bend open by themselves. "Ok Alicia come on out and get as close
to me as you can." I told her. She stepped out and grabbed onto me with all
her strength and held on. The cloak extended around her making her
invisible to. Adrien bent the bars back in place to keep the monsters from
think that she had escaped. "Please the boy and girl take them to." She
begged again. Adrien bent the bars to the cell across from Alicia's to free
the two kids in it. Adrien made himself visible and stepped inside to get
the kids. "I'm here to help you, be quiet or we're all dead." He told the
kids. Adrien pic ked the girl up in his arms and the boy held onto his arm
to help himself out of the cage. Adrein again bent the bars back to avoid
suspicion then made himself and the 2 kids invisible. "Let's go, and no one
make a sound." I whispered to them all. "Derrik what about all the other
people here?" Adrien asked me mentally. "I want to help them to man but we
have our hands full right now." I responded. "We'll have to find some other
way to help them, but for now we have to get out of here." I told him.

It took us twice as long to get back to the ship bay to the ship we came
here in. we had to stop a few times to avoid monsters near us till they
were out of our way once more. E found our ship and made our way inside. I
helped the very pregnant Alicia into a chair and strapped her in. I then
helped Adrien with the younger boy and girl putting them in their
seats. Right when we were about to close the hatch a monster looked in and
saw us. It let out a blood chilling scream and the whole place went on
alert. "Fuck we gotta get outa here!" I said. Adrein raised his gloved hand
and took hold of the monsters throat and crushed it with20his mind. I
strapped myself in my seat and he did the same. The hatch closed and there
were monsters beating on it trying to open it. "Let's get the fuck out of
here!" I screamed. Adrien took control of the ship and overrided the lock
the monsters had on it and he tore off for the exit. There was only one
little problem, it was closed from the good aliens attacking on the
outside. "Our friends we are trapped inside. Can you please destroy the
doors closing the outer hatch for us so we can escape?" Adrien asked the
good aliens with his mind. We were flying pretty fast towards the closed
door with other small ships following us and shooting at us. Adrien was
doing his best to avoid their blasts as we tried to escape. "BOOM!" the
ship shook as a violent explosion opened a gaping hole in the doors in
front of us letting us back out into space. Adrien shot for the opening
with the ship going full bore. We flew through it with the monsters in
chase, but we did have the help of the good aliens outside of the ship to
blast the monsters as they came out. We thought we were home free, till a
blast from one of the monsters chasing us ripped into our ship. "We re
hit!" Adrein sounded off. The ship began to tumble and roll violently as we
reentered the atmosphere. "This is going to be tricky." Adrien said as he
regained partial control of the ship. The ship nearly slammed into the
ocean as we descended back to earth. "Man you sure you got this thing?" I
asked him. "For now yes, I don't know how long it will hold together
though." He warned. "Look there's the island." I said pointing ahead. He
mad a bee line for it and as we tried to land Adrien lost control of the
ship and it slammed into the beach and slid to a halt about 100 feet from
the house. The others all heard the crash and ran out to see what is
was. "Oh god no! Come on every body they need help." AJ to the others as he
ran top the ship to see if we were ok. I opened my eyes to see that we were
hanging upside down, but still strapped in our seats. "Oh that sucked." I
said grabbing my aching head. I heard a sound like metal being ripped apart
then sunlight streaked in the ship as I saw Josiah ripping the hatch door
off the ship with his super strength. "Hey guys what's up?" I said looking
at them upside down being a smart ass. "They did it! They fucking did it!"
AJ yelled to everyone outside when he looked in. he and Joe helped Adrien
and I out of our seats. "Ok guys be careful with her, she's still got the
baby. I told them about Alicia as they unstrapped her. Adrien carried her
out of the ship to her first view of sunlight in a long time. "Oh god
Alicia!" Carry said as she broke down crying and hugging on her
friend. Back in the ship AJ and Josiah were helping me with the other two
kids we rescued. "Careful AJ she's knocked out I think." I told him as he
carried her limp body out of the ship. "Wow they got other people to?"
Justin noticed. "Yeah they brought two more back." AJ said. Joe helped me
with the other boy and I carried him out of the ship. it wasn't much of a
problem since he was a bit smaller then I was. "Quick everyone in the house
now!" I told the others.

We took all the survivors to the bathroom so we could tend to any wounds
they had and clean them up some. "Twins get some blank ets please." I told
Cole and Cody. They ran off and got what I asked for. We made three pallets
on the floor and laid them down to tend to them. Everyone was hanging on
Alicia because they were so glad to see she was alive. As she scanned
around the room she saw Phillip. "Phil how are you here? If you're here
where's Gavin?" she asked. Everyone grew quiet then. "He's...he's gone
isn't he?" she asked as she began to cry. "I'm sorry." Phillip told her as
he cried to. He kneeled next to her and held her hand as Carry and the
twins cleaned the filth off of her. "I tended to the girl who was
unconscious and Adrien to the other boy. They all had small cuts and
bruises al lover them and were very malnourished. "Adrein please can
you... you know scan her or some shit?" I asked him. He put his hand on her
bare chest and closed his eyes. "She is unconscious, but she will be
ok. She needs fluids in her." He said. The only way I knew to do that was
to stick a tube down her throat and pour water down it. Luckily Adrien had
been learning a lot about human anatomy and he knew how to make an IV and
how to put it in. he ran to his work area and retrieved what he needed and
came back with that and a hot water bottle. He rigged up a hose to the
bottle them a needle to the hose and inserted it in the girls arm. "Please
some one get me a20bottle of water and some salt quickly." Adrien
said. Donny ran and got the stuff and brought it back in a flash. Adrien
mixed the salt and water as he poured them into the hot water bottle. He
hung the bottle up on a towel hook on the wall and let the water flow into
the girls arm. "This should do the trick." He said. "Damn Casper you are
unreal dude. I'm glad you're with us." AJ told him. We continued cleaning
the three and a short time later the girl began to stir. She opened her
eyes to see us standing over her. "You're ok now, just lay here you're
safe." I told her. She closed her eyes again and seemed to blank back
out. "How's he doing?" I asked referring to the boy. "Conscious, but weak."
Adrien said. "Well clean him up and let's get him to a bed. We'll deal with
getting him better after that." I said. Adrien and Josiah washed the boy
off showing the visible signs of the brutality the monster had inflicted on
them. "What's your name bud?" I asked him. He tried to speak but nothing
came out. I put my ear close to his mouth and he tried once more. "Jeff."
He gasped out. "Ok Jeff we're gonna take care of you now. Try to relax." I
told the kid who looked to be around 12 or so. "Alicia I know it was a good
thing to save them, but why did you make such a big deal of it?D I asked
her. "They have been on that ship longer than me, and I saw those monsters
do unthinkable things to them. I just couldn't leave them behind to that
torture any more." She said. "Do you know how old they are or anything?" I
asked. "He is 13 and she is 11. Those monsters tried to make them..." she
tried to say. "What hon." Carry asked Alicia wiping her face. "Now's not
the time I will tell you later, but let's just say they were forced to do
thing they didn't want to, and when they refused they were punished for
it. They haven't eaten in weeks, that I do know for sure." She told
us. "Hold on Jeff just hold on. You're safe now they will take care of
you." Alicia said taking his hand. "Ok Im gonna take him to my room and AJ
you take the girl to my room to." We picked the two up and they weighed a
lot less than they should. Donny walked with his brother carrying the water
bottle with the salt water solution in it that was hooked to the IV. We
laid the two down next to each other. AJ hung the water bottle up on a lamp
by m bed and cover the girl up. "I covered Jeff up and put my hand on the
top of his head. "Don't worry man you'll be ok now the nightmare is over."
I told him. He began to tear up and I could tell he wanted to say
something. "Shh. It's ok I know.=2 0Just rest for now." I told him. He
nodded and closed his eyes. AJ, Donny, And I left the room then and shut
the door behind us. "You are the fucking man!" AJ said as he grabbed me in
a hug followed by his brother squeezing me. "Thanks guys, but Adrien is the
real hero today." I told them. "Well maybe we should go suck hi off then
instead." AJ said making a joke. "Ok smart ass I get the hint. I just don't
feel like any of that right now. Guys if you saw what we did up there you'd
never sleep again." I told them of the horrors we'd seen earlier.

Back in the bathroom Carry and Adrien were tending to Alicia with a crowd
of onlookers. "Guys please give us some room. You can say hi to her in a
bit. Carry told the boys. The boys all went to the living room to await the
news. Adrien put his hand on Alicia's stomach and closed his eyes. He
raised hi s head then and looked at Carry with a look that she knew too
well. "What's wrong?" she asked getting scared just as I walked in. "The
child is dying." Adrien said. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Yes I can feel the
heart beat diminishing. We must deliver it now." He said. "Oh god no."
Alicia cried. "Alicia please before we do anything else, is there a chance
it's Phil's? If it is he deserves to be here." I asked her. She just cried
and nodded. "I don't know if it's Gavin's or his." She said. "That's ok,
for now we need to get it out before it dies." Adrien told her. "Fuck man I
don't know how to deliver a baby." I said getting panicked. "I do. Now
relax because I will need you help. Carry get Phillip please, he deserves
to be here for this, and hurry I will need your help to. Carry went to get
Phil and Adrien collected the necessary things from the first aid cabinet
he needed. I ran to get some more blankets and we all met back at the same
time. "Lock the door please." Adrien told Phil. Once we were locked in he
explained to us what was happening and what we needed to do. He apologized
to Alicia for touching her privates then he got started on delivering the
baby. I don't have clue of how he did it or what he did, but he put his
hand on her tummy and closed his eyes and then th e floor was flooded as
her water broke. "Ok god I feel it coming now." Alicia cried. "Just relax."
He told her. I poured warm water on her down there and on the floor to wash
the fluids down the floor drain. "Oh god OWW!!" Alicia cried as a
contraction rocked her body." It's coming now!" she said. Adrien told her
to bare down when she felt the contractions so that's what she did and
followed that with a bout of painful screams. Carry and Phillip were at
Alicia's head holding her hands and bracing her as she pushed the baby
out. I was helping Adrien with what ever he needed. AJ knocked on the door
then and asked if we were ok. I went to the door and told him what was
happening. "Go keep watch on the other 2 while we do this please." I asked
him to watch the other kids in my room. I shut the door back and locked it
again as Alicia screamed again. "Oh fuck it hurts!" he was breathing hard
and seemed scared. "One more hard push and I will have the head." Adrein
said. Alicia took a deep breath and bared down once more forcing the baby's
head out. A few more hard pushes and she managed to squeeze the baby's
shoulders out, once that was over the rest of it came out pretty
easily. COh my god it's a girl! It's a baby girl!" Carry said in tears of
joy. Dr Adrien held the baby upside down to clear its air way then smacked
it on the but. The little thing took a deep breath and began to squall. We
wiped the baby off then laid it on a towel on Alicia's chest. She smiled
and cried as she saw her little bundle of joy for the first time. I watched

you mind moving in with Justin, Zack, and Gaige? You don't have to answer
right this minute, but think about it. We're gonna have to explain a lot of

asked. "Umm... maybe when the new kids wake up. We need to make
sure20they're ok first." I suggested. "Oh yeah, guys when the new kids wake
up put some shorts on when you're around them till they know about our
clothes rule. We don't wanna freak them out with them being so weak." I
told everyone as they were leaving the room. They all sighed and nagged
over having to put some clothes on for once. "Good idea." AJ said. We went
back to my room to check on the other kids and Nikki was stirring. "Look
she's waking up." AJ pointed out. "Where...where am I?" she
mumbled. "You're safe now. We rescued you. You're back on Earth and all you
need to know is you're ok and we're going to take care of you." I told
her. She noticed the IV stuck in her arm and tried to pull on it. "No don't
it's helping you. You needed it since you were dehydrated. Once you get
your strength back we'll get you guys some food." I told her. "Where's
Cheech? Where is my brother?" she asked. "He's laying next to you. He's ok
to, he's sleeping." I said. "Try to sleep now and we'll bring you guys some
food in a little while." AJ told her. "Thank you." She said as she closed
her eyes. We left them again to rest and made plans for leaving the
island. We talked to Adrien and decided that AJ, Josiah, and Adrien would
go to the mainland to find some bunk beds and Phillip would go to, but wait
in the ship so they could find him some new glasses. Basically it was all
of the older boys going excluding Joey but he went because of his
strength. This time I volunteered to stay behind to make sure everyone was
ok, being the new arrivals, plus I just felt like staying here for once. I
felt drained for some reason.

A few hours went by and the guys have been gone for a while now to find new
beds. I checked in on Alicia occasionally and found she was getting along
fine with Carry's help. I stepped in one time on her first attempt to

and I'll be right back. I'm going to get more soup." I told them. I ran to

gone. "Here's some more." I said setting the bowl on the tray. Nikki was
sitting up now to and they were sharing the food, although Grayson was
giving her more than he was eating. "Adrien said you guys should eat soup
first till you get use to having food again. Something about messing your
stomachs up if we didn't do it that way." I told them. "That's fine man
thank you." Grayson said. "You feel strong enough to stay up now?" I asked
Nikki. She kind of smiled and nodded. "Adrien the kids are awake and eating
soup. Can we take the IV out of her arm now?" I messaged Adrien in my
mind. "If her color is closer to normal and she can remain awake then yes I
believe so." He messaged back. "By the way we will be home soon we have the
beds." Adrien added. "Ok yeah we can take that thing out now. Let me go get
a bandage and stuff to take it out." I told her. I go the stuff from the

went to find some bunk beds so we have enough room for every one to
sleep. We're kinda getting crowded here now." I said. I went on to tell the
rest of our story and how Adrien was the father of Carry's expected

had a younger brother that they lost who was 9. They also told me they were
from Texas where they were captured, which would explain their accents. The

mumbled. "What the hell does that mean?" AJ asked. "It either means he's no

asked hysterically. "He's either not here or he's dead." Adrien said
