Here we go with yet another story.  This story was inspired by a young
person I met on one of the social networking sites however other than the
name of the character, which is used to honor this special young man, any
other resemblance to any person living or dead is purely coincidental.

                          The Awakening Of Lucas
                                 Chapter 1


"Oh No!  Not again!"  Lucas exclaimed as he opened his eyes and noticed the
wet stain on his briefs.  He reached into his undies and felt the sticky
goo that had been deposited there.  It had only happened once before and he
had cleaned up the evidence.  He sure wouldn't want his mother to see it
and think he was sick.  But now it had happened again and he began to worry
that something was truly wrong with him.

He got out of bed and stripped off his soggy briefs.  He walked into his
bathroom and hopped into the shower, taking the 'evidence' with him.  He
carefully washed out any sign of his illness.  He didn't know what to do
and he began to feel down.

He finished his shower and dressed to go to school.  He went to the kitchen
and ate the breakfast his mother had left for him before she left for work.
As he was leaving the kitchen he noticed the calendar.  He walked up to it
and started counting days.  It was 11 days before his 13th birthday.  He
was just walking to the front door when there was a knock on it.  He opened
it and saw his best friend Rudy standing there.

Rudy came in to the house and said, "We got about a half an hour before we
gotta run to school, but I gotta tell you something totally wicked that
happened to me!" Rudy was really excited and could barely contain
himself. "You will never guess what happened!"

Rudy's excitement was having a good effect on Lucas.  Lucas was able to
forget his own troubles and became excited for his friend.  "What
happened?"  Lucas asked, almost as excited as Rudy.

Rudy beamed as he said, "This morning when I woke up, I saw that I squirted
for the first time!  Ain't that Cool?"

It was as if a light bulb had gone off in Lucas' mind.  THAT is what it
was.  He felt stupid he didn't think of that before.  He'd learned all
about that in health class, but it just never came to his mind when he

said which caused Rudy to grin.

"You too!  That's totally wicked! After school let's come back here and we

"No!  Have you?"  Lucas replied, a little more forcefully than he had

Rudy got a sheepish look on his face.  "Yeah, it feels really good.  But I

Lucas was trying to think of the right way to ask what he was thinking.  He
