Chapter 1

My name is Adam. I am 13 years old and I live in Singapore. I consider
myself as a 1.58m tall and weight about 69kg. I have black hair with black
eyes. Something special about my eyes is that it so small that when I smile
or laugh my eyes is like no eyes at all!

Today is a Friday night. I was watching a TV show when suddenly my house
phone rang. I ran to answer it.

Me: Hello, this is Adam. Who is this on the phone?

Unknown: Hi I'm Mary from your next door, I'm looking for your mother,
please call her for me.

Me: Oh sure Aunty Mary, Hold on a sec..

"Mum telephone for you! It Aunty Mary! She wants to talk to you!" I shouted
from the living room. Mum hurried from the kitchen as she was preparing
dinner for me.

Mum: Hi Mary, you looking for me?

Mary: Hi Amanda, I need your help! Tonight I and my husband is going to a
business trip to Malaysia for 3 days and I need to ask if your son can help
me babysit my 9 year-old son, John.  I will give him some expense to use
over this 3 days and some money for him as salary. Is it ok for him to come
over now?

Mum: sure no problem! It a Friday night anyway and he has no homework, I
will inform him to come and will reach your house in 10 mins.

Mary: Thanks a lot Amanda, this is so appreciated. Goodbye! Have a nice
day!

Mum: Goodbye!
