The Best Friend I Ever Had Part XX

The Usual Disclaimers.  From Here on Out in the story all the work is
ficticitonal (its fake) unless I put otherwise


After we got done at the lawyer's office we all went out to eat.  When we
got home we all went to bed with peaceful dreams.  Josh and Brad had court
the next day and that day would change their lives forever...

I woke up about 5:30am with Justin by my side.  It felt so good to have
this many people love me the way they do.  I decided to get up and take my
shower.  After I got out Justin came up to me and said "Mark, I want to
tell you that what you are doing is so nice of you and I hope God has a
special place in heaven for you."  I told him, "Justin I have never really
had many friends who actually cared for me, so I know what its like to be
there all alone.  I just don't want you guys to feel that way and Josh and
Brad don't need to be treated like that."

I went in Josh's room and woke him up with a kiss on the cheek.  He said ,
"Good Morning Mark" I told him "Josh its time to get up and get your shower
and get dressed, you have court today remember."  So he went in and got in
the shower while I went to wake up Brad.

I went into Brad's room and kissed him on the cheek to wake him up.  He got
up and I told him, "Time to get your shower we have court n about 3 hours
remember" He said, "Ok, I thank you so very much for this and I hope there
is some way I can prove it to you."

Its Now 11:00am time for Josh to be in court, His parents are there.  The
judge come in the courtroom and the court clerk announces our case.
Counsel approaches the bench and then I am called to the witness stand.

The bailiff comes up and I put my hand on the bible and raise my hand "Do
you Swear to tell the Truth the Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth so
heal your God", "I Do"

Josh's Lawyer come up and says "Mark Tell the Court the Story on how Josh
came to live with you for the time being.  I said, "Josh called me one day
and said that his parents beat him up pretty badly at his house because
they caught him with his Boyfriend in his room.  I went to his house call
the ambulance and they took him to the hospital where I had a cop keep
guard so his parents could not do anymore harm to him".  The lawyer said,
"How Badly was Josh hurt?"  I said, "he was hurt pretty bad, he had a
severe concussion and almost had some brain damage, the doctor said if I
hadn't of got there when I did he could have died.  Josh's Parents also
came to the hospital and made physical threats to me and everyone in my
household INCLUDING Josh.

Josh's Parents laywer said he had no questions.  Their lawyer called Josh's
dad and mom to the stand.

The bailiff comes up and I put my hand on the bible and raise my hand "Do
you Swear to tell the Truth the Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth so
heal your God", "I Do" The laywer said, "Did you in fact come home to find
Josh in bed with another Young Man and kick that young man out of your
house then physically harm your son." Josh's Dad said, We in Fact did come
home to find Josh in bed with another young man, Yes, but we did not beat
him like Mark and the Doctor said he did.  We told him he was a no good for
nothing gay ass mother fucker who needed to be beat because he likes men.
I don't want a son who is like that."

The Judge said "That is enough Mr. & Mrs. Matthew's I wont need anymore
Testimony.  You are to forfeit ½ of your assets to a secure account
immediately for Josh and I grant the emancipation document and, will place
a restraining order on you and Mrs. Matthews.  You will serve 6 Months in
the county Jail for assult of A Minor.  Josh will be by to get the rest of
his things and will be escorted by police."

Josh jumped up in happiness and hugged me tight.  I was once again happy
for having Josh be safe.

Brad was next.  His case went by more smoothly.

The judge come in the courtroom and the court clerk announces our case.
Counsel approaches the bench and then Brad is called to the witness stand.

"Do you Swear to tell the Truth the Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth
so heal your God", "I Do"

Brad tells what happened when his parents kicked him out of the house.

The Judge grants Brad his emancipation document and Brad is awarded 1/3 of
his family's assets.

We all decide to go to "our" house.

I said, "Well Guys, Its Summer.  How about we all go for a cruise to the
Carribean, Bahamas, and we'll end up in Italy.  My Treat to show how happy
I am for "our" New Life together.

We were all excited so I called my travel agent and set it all up.

not putting any in there for the fact that Josh and Brad were starting
their new life after court.
