Chapter 8 A new days dawns.

It has been over three months since we left Planet earth. Now on our

"It looks like the robots have been busy and we will see what they
Have been up to as video has just arrived of their progress so far."
Freddy said. So off we went to the common room where everyone was
Waiting for all the scientists to arrive.  "Cool, look at the huge
Screen counting down." Aaron chuckled. "Yeah and we don't have any

Our seats.

The video started with a full view of our new city. It was huge, clean
And empty of humans. Tons of robotic machines were finishing our
Huge holding cells that looked like a huge commune. Rooms were filled
With beds and storage area for our clothes. As of yet we didn't have
Any houses to move into as that would happen when we arrived and
Started to build all our new homes. So for now we would be bunking

The girls would be separated from us during the night as we had to

The food regulators needed to be installed as we had to grow all our

Like staring new life on the planet like all the birds and fishes have
To be settled in their areas. Wild life relocated in the forests
And so on.


"Gee, it looks like we sure will be busy there and then we have to
Build our homes to live in." Aaron muttered as a worker robot rolled
By with a trailer being pulled behind it. On the trailer was a sign
That was being towed to the landing spot where our spaceship would
Arrive. The sign said welcome to Zoltron." All of us gasped seeing the
Sign being placed into the brown earth.

"Oh shit, that was awesome to see." A boy said as he started to cry.
It sure was exciting to see where we would be living and now that we
Only had a week to go before we arrived was too much for some of the
Boys and it looked like we were all ready to settle down on Zoltron.

"Now boys, we will be giving you some tasks when we arrive at our
Meeting point. All of you will be shown your holding areas so you
Need to have everything packed in your luggage containers and be
Wearing your worker clothing that will be hand to you the night before
We land." Our team leader announced. A few boys arrived on the stage
Wearing a blue and green jump suit and this was our new clothing that
We would be wearing for the time being.


After we watched the video and that we were sorted into groups for
Our tasks we took off for lunch.  The days quickly flew by as we
Sorted out the animals for their arrival to their new holding yards.

Until all the rest of the animals were taken off the other ships.

It would be a rush as all the spaceships would be arriving around the

America, the U.k and Australia would be gathered in our huge city.
So for now we would be bunking together as one big happy family.

"Oh god, I can't wait to get off this thing." Aaron exclaimed as we
Were now only hours before we landed in the northern part of the
Planet. "Tell me, you have not shut up about getting off this space
Ship for weeks now.' I moaned. "Well what are you going to do when

We would be eating dinner on our new planet and it was going to be
Sad when we leave the ship as it has been home for a long, long time.

"Look at that." Spike yelled as he looked out of the space windows.
He could see the new planet as we started to approach the outer limits
Of the new planet. `Dam it sure is awesome looking." I gasped seeing
The blue oceans and green soundings that was going to be our new home.
"All crew and members please go to your seats and strap in as we are
About to land.' The captain announced over the intercom.


"Were here, were here." Aaron happily cheered as we strapped into
Our seats that pulled out from the bulk heads. The ship was buzzing as
The engines started to slow down and the extendable legs started to
Move out of the ship.  "It's stopping Travis, it's stopping." Aaron
Yelled as we came towards our landing spot and felt the legs of the
Ship hold us in place as the spaceship came to a complete stop,


Red lights started to flash, buzzers sounded as the ship locked
Itself into place. "To the disembarking stations, to the disembarking
Stations." The captain said as the doors opened at the entrance
Of the spaceship. "This is it my brother, stay close to me and don't
Wonder away from me." Freddy grunted as we started to line up in the
Hallways that led to the tunnel that connected to the main doors.


Aaron and the rest of our group started to walk to the sunlight that
Was now pouring into the ship.  Our goggles on and with a smile on
Our faces we walked for 5 minutes until we walked out of the space
Ship that was connected to the docking station. The sun was burning
Onto our faces as we emerged from our spaceship and soon started to
Smell the air and for the first time smelling the fresh air that
Surrounded us.

It was weird not to hear birds chirping or the sounds of dogs barking as
the planet had yet not been populated by any animals. That was going
To be our job tomorrow. For now we had to set up our lodgings and get
Settled in. "Boys watch the robotic signs that will tell you where
You are at all times so that you won't get lost." Freddy explained
As we approached our dorm area.

He was one of the team leaders for our group. He had over 20 boys in
His group and would be in his care until things got settled down.
With our baggage in our hands we walked indoors finding robots quickly
Finishing their duties as we arrived into our quarters.  The smell of

Took in our new environment.  The walls were made of metal and had

"Go find a bed and I don't want any arguing as all the beds are the

Together. The storage areas for our clothing was small but with enough

Started to blink as our parents started to call us as they came
Off their ships.

Next we had to sort out the dining area with the adaptable kitchens
That were made ready to slip into their slots from our galley on
Board our spaceship. Ten robots arrived with crates piled on trolleys
And waited for instructions from Freddy. Their red eyes blinked as
They received their orders. `Now you two, here is your job, for now
We will be cooking in this dorm and you and two other boys will
Unpack all the food we have in place to eat.' Freddy said as he gave
The other boys their chores.


"Look here, tinned food." Aaron groaned as we unpacked the crates and
Placed the canned goods into their storage areas. We would get fresh
Food in the coming days but for now we had to eat what they called
K-rations in the olden days. The water was now flowing through the
Buildings as we had special extraction machines that took water from
The ground and refined it to drinkable water.

The main dining area needed to be fitted out using the main galley
From the ship and it would a week to get it operational. The reason
Was they would need the adults to set it up and for some reason as one
Ship that held the maintaince workers was a week out from landing for
Some reason so we had to wait for them to arrive.


The robots could do so much but some of the equipment
We needed was on board their ship and that was going to hold us up as well.
"Dam it, just our luck that the maintaince ship was lagging
Behind us." Aaron groaned as he finished unloading the freeze dried
Milk into the containers.

`Yeah, it sure sucks Aaron; I thought the adults had worked this out
Months ago. I noted. "Well at least we are here now and that we can
Start a new life here." I responded. Each of our dorms on our
Ship had a small galley to fix snacks and small meals. But now we had
To use them to fix our breakfasts, lunches and dinners
In our new dorm. We still would use these after the main dining room was
completed.


Our help was thanked by my brother who looked a little worn out but
Said we did a great job and we would have dinner later on tonight.
More stuff was being taken off the spaceships as they hopefully would
Not be needed anymore. `Can we take a walk around the area so we can
Check things out here." I asked my brother.

"Sure but don't go too far as the robots are still running to and
From the ship so stay out of their way, also keep your com links on
As they will work around here if you get lost." Freddy smiled as

Our goggles and headed outside.

`Wow, it sure is bright out here." I gulped as we walked around the
Buildings. "Yeah, being in outer space sure changed our eyes just
Being around lights all the time but now our eyes need to settle down
Getting used to the sun." Aaron replied. A few other boys and adults
Were enjoying the sun and checking out the buildings that were
Going to be our new department stores and general stores.

No money was going to be needed as we would have chores to do and earn
Credits to spend on whatever we wanted.  `I wonder where our parents
Are." Aaron said as we saw a few more spaceships land in the outer
Space landing area. "They must be busy with all the girls as they need
To sort them out as they would need to have their nightly snack

See you but Aaron's dad and me are busy sorting out the new doctor's
Office and could not get to see you as we had to get the operation
Room ready in a flash." My dad gasped sounding a little worn out.


"Ok dad, just take it easy as we will catch up with you sometime
Tonight or tomorrow.' I replied as I told my dad that I loved him.
Aaron did the same as we waved to our dads on the com link seeing them
Inside one of the doctor's office. The sun was now starting to go down
And night time was arriving. We returned to our dorm just in time
For dinner. Well if you could call it dinner.

After we ate what we called dinner we went to the new games room
Seeing a robot setting up our special activity area with lots
Of new computer consoles. "He looks busy Travis, I bet he's not
Used to having real people around him." Aaron chuckled.
"I am not ready for people, please stand back while we work."
The blue robot said as he soldered the wires to the speakers.

`Bloody hell, he spoke.' I gasped after hearing a robot talk to me.
"Yes, I can talk, I can cook and I can kill." the robot giggled as
He stood up and scanned our com-links. "You are Travis, a gay boy

The robotic tech replied as he scanned our links with all our data
On them.

"Now that is how you solder a wire." Aaron exclaimed. "I bet he can

Said as it did not compute with him. "I must go now and recharge,

Activity room.  "So this is where you are, I knew I would find

Aaron enquired.

"Yes, you do, I put in some credits when you had to clean up the
Galley when it got messed up last month." Freddy replied.
 "Try it out Travis and see if it works." Aaron remarked.
I did and in seconds I was drinking my first soda that was cool
To drink. "I got to try it out." Aaron smirked as he touched
His com-link and ordered his soda.

`Nice and cold." Aaron said as he sipped from his can of soda.
"Don't go over doing the sodas you guys as we have to set up the
Machines that will produce the sodas and that won't happen until the
Maintaince ship arrives so we have a limited supply of sodas for now."
Freddy explained to us.

`Oh darn.' Aaron grunted. "Did you find a robot in here?" Freddy
Asked us. "Yeah, we did, his name is R1-j4 and he could talk." I
Grinned as I told my brother about the robot. "Good as he will be
Our robot while we stay in this dorm so if you see something that
Needs some attention just let me know and I will get him or her
To come and fix it." Freddy explained to us.

The bacon and sausages would come later on when the farmers got their
Animals ready for slaughter. For now it was time for the animals to

Cooped up on board the spaceship.  We returned to our kitchen with
Our now cleaned eggs and sorted them out ready to be cooked.

Each dorm had their own breed of hens to look after as we sure had
A lot of chicks being born while on our long journey. Yes we ate

To eat.

One more day to adjust to the sun rays.' Freddy told us all.

"How can the birds fly with their goggles on?" A tyke asked as he

Settled in using the sun rays and they have better sight to deal
With the sun's rays so they are now ready to be freed." Freddy
Giggled as he got us to open the cages and let out the birds first
To see how they could handle the new planet.

"Good, they all have settled into their new homes." Freddy remarked
Seeing the birds fly into trees and bushes that have been grown
In the past few months.  We were able to grow vegetation rather
Quickly on our new planet as the robotic gardeners sure knew how
To grow them with lots of care.  Thousands of plants were sown into
The ground that we knew would settle the animals and have a home to
Live in.

"Now my little ones, go and have sex and multiply spreading your
Babies all over this wonderful planet.' Freddy giggled as he told us
To free the rabbits and smaller animals into the forest. All over
Zoltron animals were being released by their handlers and soon would
Settle down and enjoy their new world as we would.

`Dam I need to poop." Aaron moaned as he finished empting his bag of
Worms into the compost heap we made using the chicken poop and straw.
"Well go then." I said. `Come with me Travis." Aaron pleaded.
I didn't know why he was acting up like this so I went with him
To the stalls.  "What's up with you Aaron?" I asked him. "Just feeling
A little lonely right now.' He replied. "Oh, I see." I said back to

"It was like that with a few of the other boys and it hit me
when some of the girls also felt the same as Aaron.
The doctors said was that we were so close together on the space ship
And now out in the spaces of freedom that they were suffering from
The open spaces syndrome.  It would soon wear off as we all settled
Down and got into our new routine. Some would call it cabin fever but
In reverse.

After a few days we all got used to our new home and also we met up with
 our parents and had some time together on the weekend. We had
To wear clothes when we were outside but when we were indoors we could
Relax and undress to our undies or with nothing on. The sun was still
Something we had to get used to as we were a little closer to it than
We were back on earth. Our planet was near mars just a few hundred
Thousand miles away.

No pollution was allowed to be discharged into the air or on the
Ground. We had special equipment that would dispose of our waste
And everything was either recycled or destroyed without damaging
The planet.  That was what caused the earthquakes on earth so now
We knew what not to do to make our planet sick again.

Our area was almost ready with the other spaceship arriving with all
The cargo we needed to update our dining room and other buildings.
Our dads were now enjoying some free time with us boys and our moms
Were also enjoying some free time as other moms took turns to babysit
The girls.  Our population grew by the thousands as most of the teen
Girls started to pop out their babies. We had known this was going to

"well guys the pool has been built in our quarter and now you can go

"Can we go after lunch to swim?" Spike enquired. "You can as long as
Your chores are done." Freddy told the boy. `Cool. I've done my chores
And so has Benny." Spike grinned.

"Um we have done our chores this morning Freddy, the chickens enjoyed
Aaron's singing as he cleaned their nesting boxes.' I exclaimed.
"They sure did, even a few of the chickens followed me around while
I cleaned up their poop." Aaron chirped. "Ok then go and enjoy
Your free time in the pool." Freddy said as we all took off towards
Our dorm and grabbed out towels and dropped our jumpsuits and
Headed towards the pool.

"You know it sure feels great to be free balling right now.' Aaron
Grinned as we entered the newly built swimming pool. The robotic team

Moments before settling down as we walked into the warm water.

Said we should not need to wear the goggles now unless you are
Out doors for more than two hours so it is up to you if you still
Want to wear them." Mr Jackson announced as he took off his

`Cool, these things are annoying as they fog up when we come out here.'
Aaron complained. He was right, they did fog up but that is because we
We're coming out from an air coned room to the outdoors.
"So now what?" I enquired. "It's almost lunch time so how about we
Eat and then try out the new equipment in the gym." Aaron noted.

"Yeah, we can do it in the nude and have some fun in there.' I exclaimed.
"Right then let's go eat as I am hungry." Aaron remarked as he rubbed
His tummy. The vegie garden we helped planting fruit and a vegies was now
In full swing. The soil was very good in growing stuff and the plants

The main eating area was now opened and we gave up eating the rest of

"The smell of fresh hot dogs and hamburgers soon filled our noses as we
