Chapter 8 -- Youthful Exuberance.

Once the others had gone home, Lucas went off to play
with Joshie.  When that happened, I took Jordan, Nicky,
Jesse and Andrew aside, so I could clear the air and let
them know what I thought would be acceptable.

"Okay, I'm fairly certain I know what you boys are
planning," I began, "but nothing happens unless each
person agrees he wants to participate."  I saw four heads
nod in unison.

"I also don't want you to get carried away with this and
allow it to become all you do while you are here," I stated,
while directing the comment toward Jordan and Nicky.  "I
want you to have a good time, but there will be other
things you can do that doesn't involve sex."  They merely
smiled in understanding.

"No anal," I whispered to Jesse and Andrew, as I got ready
to leave.  They merely nodded their heads in agreement.

Since that had been settled, I left the boys alone and they
immediately went to the family room and challenged each
other on the video games.  Once they grew tired of playing
on the X-box and Wii, they asked Jake and me if we
wanted to watch a movie with them, so we agreed.  We
spent the next couple of hours watching 'The Great Raid,'
which is about a World War II rescue operation and stars

fix dinner.

Later, after we finished eating, I saw Nicky, Jordan, Jesse
and Andrew playing hide-and-go-seek outside with Lucas

with the younger ones too and figured I'd let them know
that when they came back inside.

When it grew dark, the boys finished their game and I got

"I'm glad to see you guys were doing something with the

After I commended their actions again, I offered all of the
boys a piece of leftover birthday cake and some ice cream.

Dion and Trey came in to get Lucas and Joshie, so they

after that, the other four left and went upstairs and I'm

The boys started off by going into the same bedroom
together, so they could talk things over first.  They hadn't

"I can't believe you guys got your parents to let you stay
another week," Jesse began.

down after Papa said he'd bring Kylie and me back."

"You're pretty lucky he offered to do that for you," Jesse
suggested.  "Otherwise you might not have been able to
stay."

"I know and I think he only said he'd do it, because you

trip," Jordan suggested.  "I think he was glad we were
honest about it and he was okay with what we did, so he
was willing to give us some more time together.  At first, I
was a little worried about you telling him what we were up
to, but now I'm glad you did."

"We even thanked him personally, when we were with him
on a ride at Hershey Park," Nicky added, "so I think that
probably helped too.  We even talked a little about what
we were doing and thanked him for allowing us to learn
from you guys.  It might have helped that he knows we
appreciate everything he is doing for us and that may be
another reason why he agreed to let us spend a little more
time with each other.  If Papa hadn't allowed us to stay
over now, we wouldn't see you guys again until
Christmas."

"I'm glad you thanked him and were able to talk to him
about what you were doing on vacation," Andrew
confirmed.  "It is probably what convinced him that you're
mature enough to handle these things, or else you
wouldn't have said anything to him about it directly.  That
might have also helped convince him to talk your parents
into letting you stay longer."

The two boys looked at each other, since neither of them
had realized before that they were actually helping

have long to consider this, because Andrew was asking
them a question.

Jordan suggested.

before," Nicky added.  "They used to give us baths when

Jordan and Nicky stood up and dropped their towels on

"And you too, Papa Jake?" Nicky asked, in an effort to
make certain we were all in agreement.

"Yes, me too," Jake confirmed, which brought smiles to

A few minutes later, Jake said good night and went to bed,
because he had to go to work in the morning.  I stayed up
with the boys and we chatted for a while longer, before
they went to their bedrooms to turn in too.  I understand
that Nicky decided to sleep with Andrew and Jordan
stayed with Jesse that evening.  They didn't do any more

Monday morning, Andrew talked Dion and Trey into

have another option, because Jake had taken our car to

the Suburban.  It is very large and extremely challenging

didn't ask your parents first and I'm not sure what they'd

only talk about it when you're here."

"Sure, Papa," Lucas agreed.  "I think it will be fun."

Before long, Lucas, Joshie, Dion and Trey had all stripped
down and were heading out to hop into the pool with the
others.  Nicky began to panic when he saw them
approaching.

"Did Papa say it was okay for them to do this too?" he
asked.  Once Dion and Trey confirmed I had, he relaxed
and began to enjoy himself again.

"Their pee pees are all bigger than ours," Lucas

Dion told him.  That seemed to suffice, so Lucas jumped in
with the others.

The boys stayed in the pool until nearly dinnertime and
then they got out, dried off and came back inside.  None of
them seemed to be in a hurry to get dressed again and
pretty soon I saw them in the family room watching 'Up'
together.

When Jake returned home, I asked the boys to put some
clothes on before we ate, so they raced off to do as I'd
requested.  After we finished dinner, the little ones talked
the older boys into playing hide-and-go-seek with them
again and they stayed outdoors until it began to get dark.

Once they came inside, Dion and Trey rushed Lucas and
Joshie off for their bath and then put them to bed.  While
they were doing this, the rest of us went in to watch
television.

"Lucas and Joshie were cute swimming naked in the
pool," Jordan told me, once the little ones were no longer
with us.

"Yes, and they seemed to enjoy it too," I confirmed.

have gotten naked with you guys in the pool, like they
did," Nicky announced.  "I think it would have been fun."

"I guess you must have forgotten that we did it a couple of
times," Jordan reminded him.  "The other boys let us do it
when Papa wasn't here."

I tried to act angry, but they obviously knew I wasn't.

"I remember that now," Nicky confessed, glancing at me

room without knocking first and another time I forgot to

focused on the television program again.  After watching a
couple of shows together, the boys went upstairs and
