Darian and Wade chapter 1


Darian and Wade were brothers and have always been extremely close until
Jordan came into the picture. Jordan and Wade had become friends when they
both entered High School and just hit it off. They were always together and
many people had thought they had something going on but they were just the
best of friends. Jordan at any rate, hated gays and always let it be known.

Darian at 14 was in 9th grade and missed being around his brother. Wade and
he were always together until he had moved up to High School. Darian was

Wade at 15 was getting to be popular at school and making new and older

One day as Darian came home from band practice he say Jordan and his Wade

That was his game to share with Wade now he lost him to this new kid.

Jordan was lean and fit and the best basketball player in school. Darian
still thought he was better. Why was he stealing his brother? Didn't he have
his own friends? Why come take his brother and best friend? He would show
this guy real quick. Darian glared at Jordan with his dark eyes and long
black hair falling into his face. He blew his hair up and walked towards the
two.

Wade saw his brother walking up and grinned to Darian. "Hey lil bro.
Whassup?"

Darian stayed calm and thought for a second at what the boy had said. He was

Jordan was now losing his cool. He tried spinning around and avoiding Darian

Darian got to his feet and gave his privates a slight adjustment and shook

around and as Jordan judged and missed the block Darian quickly scored
again. This back and forth action went on and it was down to the last basket
Darian needed. "One more basket gives me 20 and you got 2 `Michael Jordan'

Darian laughed and slapped him on the back. "That's what I said." The three
boys laughed as Jordan bounced the ball slowly.

Darian grinned, "oh you are gonna get me all right and I can't wait."

Jordan made a break for the basket and in his haste tripped over Darians
foot and Darian got the ball and made the winning basket. "Gotcha" was all
Darian said. Just then a car pulled up to the drive and Jimmy said. "Gotta
run, but Ill kick his ass tomorrow for you if you want."

Darian grinned and said "See ya bud, but I don't think that will be
necessary."

Wade said "I have to head out too we got football practice. Jimmy can I get
a lift?"

They left and Jordan slowly walked over to Darian and held out his hand. "I
really didn't have any idea you were that good kid. You were going out for
the team in High School?"

Darian took the older boys hand, "Thanks, and yeah I want to. You gonna be
playing again?"

Jordan spoke softly ... "yeah I hope to. Ugh say Darian, you weren't really
serious about that bet were you?"

Darian looked at the boy and asked plainly "Would you have taken the ticket
if you would have won?"

Jordan thought and then spoke" well yeah, but that's different."

Darian thought for a sec and then reached into his backpack and pulled out
one of the concert tickets. He had gotten one for Wade but found out too
late he couldn't go. He gave the ticket to Jordan.

Jordan reached out in amazement. "But you won"

Darian smiled and said "yeah but you should never bet on anything you aren't
sure of."

Jordan held out his hand again and smiled again. "Thanks Darian, you're all
right."

Darian smiled back. "Yeah that's why I am gonna give you a choice of sucking

Jordan looked in disbelief at the younger boy. He was going to make him pay
