Subject: Devin's Dream Comes True Part 8

Sorry, I took a break from writing, but moving back to college was more of
a priority at the time. Hey, thanks for the emails and the ideas, I have
seriously considered them into my plan.

The same disclaimers are applicable here as they are anywhere else, blah,
blah, blah... Devin and Coleman are based on real characters (their names
have changed to protect them) in my life, but their actions are imaginary.
(However, I wish that they weren't!)

Chapter 8-

The sun was blazing down in the southwestern sky during the time that the
high school band was practicing on the dusty and hot field. The abuse that
the band, the football team, and the dry weather became too much, and the
grass was dwindling away by the day. The dirt was being kicked around, and
the dust came up.

Devin and Coleman became exhausted from the torture that they received
during the course of their day. Their clothes were sticking to them and
felt nasty because of the sweat that they released. They could not wait
until the session ended. But that seemed like an eternity away because of
the continuous marching, playing, and repetition of the sets.

The set that they were trying to get right was in the middle of "Got To Be
Real". The problem with this song was the brass section phasing out of the
band with the song's difficult rhythm. They seemed to slow down each time
for no reason during the middle of the song. That meant in order for the
band not to fall apart, the drum majors had to slow the entire band down,
and the percussion section did not like it.

Mr. Amundsen did not know how to fix the problem, so he announced, "Ok,
we're going to take this from the beginning of the song, and we are going
to find out what is going wrong with the music of this song while marching.
Ok?"

Devin lifted his head back such that his eyes were looking straight up into
the clear, blue sky. He could not take that much more repetition of the
brass slowing down. If they did, he had no clue what he could do. Coleman
did not like having the bass drum on the entire time. Even though it was
one of the smallest, the weight was coming down on him like a ton of
bricks. He just had to take the pain like a man.

The drum conductor counted off the beginning of the song. Devin and the
rest of the percussion section followed the drum majors. The first move
went well; everyone was following the tempo of the song and moved to where
they should be. The next move was also just as good. Then there was the
section that had the difficult part for the brass. Devin did not want to
hear it, but they were slowing down terribly. The tempo must have taken a
dive of twenty beats, and the song sounded horrible because of it. The
drum majors stopped the song. Devin was so irritated, his temper became
like a girl with PMS.

Devin took of his snare drum and literately dropped it to the ground. He
walked over to Stephen and looked at him with an evil look, "What the fuck
is going on here? I'm so fucking mad at them because they are holding back
the production." Devin rotated his head so he could see the brass section,
and gave them the evil eye.

Stephen tried to keep Devin in line, "Dude, calm down. It's not the end of
the world. We struggled with "September", and we got through it.

Coleman needed to bring Devin down a notch before he was going to explode
in front of the entire band. He took off his bass drum and settled it down
like a dozing off puppy. He walked over to Devin, reached out his arm, and
took him to his snare drum.

Coleman kept his cool, as always. Anyone who had known Coleman for a while
knew that he was always laid back. He did not really care what was going
on around him; he just let everything take its course. Devin, on the other
hand, is more self-conscious, and tries to put all of the weight on his
shoulders and blames any fiasco on him and becomes easily frustrated
because of it. Devin was obviously the more mature one, but sometimes
could not keep his composure when it was needed.

Coleman tried to replicate Dr. Phil, "What's going on Devin? Just take it
easy."

Devin released the floodgates, "Ahh! I just can't take it easy. The heat,
the dust, the same damn thing going on over and over again is driving me
literately off the wall."

"I know how you feel, but you are going to take it down a notch right now.
We only have..., "Coleman grabs Devin's watch and looks at it, "15 minutes
left. Now can you wait 15 minutes?"

Devin tried to get some fun out of it, "No! I can't! I want to go home
now! I want instant gratification."

"You know Devin, you drive me crazy, but I love you because of it."

"Yeah, so go back now before old man Munson sees us fucking around."

Coleman winked and smiled at his boy, "Ok, Dev. Whatever you say. I'll
see you in a bit."

Mr. Amundsen turned on the megaphone, "Devin, Coleman, what the heck is
going on back there?"

Devin said, "Nothing is, everything's ok."

"Well, get your stuff back on because we resolved the brass' problem."

Devin went back to his snare drum, picked up the incredible mess that he
made. The sticks, harness, music, and drill sheets were scattered about
like on a windy day. However today, even a slight breeze would bring
relief for Devin. The hot, stagnant air really got to him. He placed the
harness and snare drum on. Then he looked around at the entire band and
thought to himself like an insane prisoner, "If we have to stop, I will
just kill someone, anyone!"

The practice ended finally ended for that afternoon. Devin was thrilled
because he could not take another minute waiting to spend time with
Coleman. Coleman would be all his to have for the rest of the day. The
two boys were walking back to the school while they looked like that they
were crossing the desert. It was tough for the entire band; almost
everyone had sunburned especially Coleman. Devin had warned him that he
would become sunburned, and he did. However, to Devin, the sunburn showed
the immaturity that Coleman still possessed and still looked like a
beautiful child to him. The walk back was completely silent, except for
the deep breathing that the boys exerted. Devin continued to look at
Coleman from time to time and the rest of the time he would imagine Coleman
completely naked and thought, "God, I love this boy."

For anyone except for Devin, nobody would be able to figure out why he had
his eyes shut as if he were dreaming and smiling simultaneously.

The long and exhausting trip had finally concluded. Despite the lectures
that Stephen gave about putting the instruments away correctly, Devin did
not care at this point and threw his snare drum down like he did earlier
that afternoon on the old, scratched, hardwood floor. Devin kneeled down
in order to pick up the sticks, music, and drill charts that scattered
about, and shoved them into his backpack. When he stood up, he saw Coleman
carrying a duffel bag and a small rolling suitcase. He looked like he was
going to have a trip for a week, not one night.

Devin had to ask this question, "Where are you going with all of this
stuff, the Atlantic Ocean?"

Coleman just giggled, "Nope. It's our fun stuff."

Devin laughed right back, "Rightttttt."

"Do you want to head on out?"

"I guess so, let's bounce."

The boys headed on out of the band room as they walked passed out Phil.
Phil moved his eyes up without moving his head, and saw Devin and Coleman
coming. He kept his head down and simply ignored them, like they never
existed.

After a few seconds, Devin asked, "What's Phil's problem?"

Coleman had a puzzled look, "I dunno."

"He's just been acting weird to me lately, like I'm not his friend. Even
though I'm going to see him this weekend, he has just been ignoring me."

"Forget about him, you don't need to care."

"I guess so, but I mean Phil and I were like this," Devin pressed his two
fingers together like there was some kind of invisible glue holding them
together, "I don't see that anymore."

The boys finally exited the high school. When they were outside, Devin
looked around the street adjacent to the high school, and did not see his
mom's car there.

Devin became angry, "Where the fuck is my mom?"

Coleman became concerned, "Did you tell her when to pick us up?"

"Yeah, I told her to pick us up at 3pm, which is the end of band practice."

Coleman looked up at Devin and the brilliance that came from his smile
appeared, "Well that means that we are going to have to spend more time
with each other."

Devin looked away at him for a second and grinned, "That's a shame."

"Sure is. Why the fuck do I want to spend the time with you?"

"So you can get fucked and fucked up simultaneously."

"Yeah, that's probably right."

There was a silence between them and suddenly they burst out laughing.
They could not believe that they could make the best out of every
situation. Then, the situation got better, Michelle's black Maxima pulled
up to the curb.

Devin ran ahead of Coleman, "Ok, let's hit the bricks."

The short jog for Devin caused him to open and get into the car., "Hey mom,
can you pop open the trunk for Coleman's stuff?"

"Sur,,,," then Michelle stopped when she saw the amount of luggage Coleman
brought, "Good lord, I can't believe he is bringing all of that crap with
him. It's just one night!"

Devin laughed, "Yeah, but he claims that `he needs it'."

Michelle breathed out, "I guessed so, and well it's more stuff he needs to
carry."

Coleman jumped into the back seat of the car, "Hey Mrs. Kelly, what's going
on?"

Michelle responded courteously to Coleman for once, "Just got back from a
terrific day of work. What about you?"

"Well, I had soccer and band, I'm exhausted."

"Yeah, well you're a busy little kid."

"MOM," Devin whined like a child, "he's not a little kid, he's in high
school for crying out loud."

"Devin, Coleman knows that I'm joking, don't you?"

"I guess so. That's okay Mrs. Kelly because most parents still think I'm
in seventh grade."

Devin turned around, "Because you act like one!"

Michelle retorted, "Devin, don't antagonize the poor kid."

The majority of the car ride was in complete silence. Devin just could not
believe that he was going to have all of this time alone with Coleman. It
was as incomprehensible to him as Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.
Just last week, he never knew of the kid, and this week, he was going to
love this boy. Coleman on the other hand, was phasing in and out. He just
stared outside of his window and just observed all of the minute details.
The sky was a clear light blue, as if a painter colored the sky himself.
He was observing the finer qualities of the summer. He could not
comprehend that his summer was over, but he could understand that he would
have the time of his life with Devin between now and the commencement of
the new school year on Tuesday.

Suddenly, Michelle ended the dead silence, "Oh, did I tell you Devin that I
was going to see Mrs. Poggi on Saturday?"

Devin looked surprised, "No, you didn't. You haven't seen her in weeks it
seems like."

"Yeah, well we talked to each other earlier today and we agreed that we
would see each other on Saturday to go to the summer festival downtown. It
will be good to catch up on each other."

"That's the same day that I'm seeing Phil."

"That's great. You two haven't been as close as friends as you did in
junior high. I have known the Poggi's since you were in 6th grade."

"How does the time fly?"

Michelle pulled into the street that the Kellys lived. Since Devin knew it
was coming up, he resurrected from the dead and became excited for Coleman.

Devin turned around in his seat like an excited little boy and said,
"Coleman, we are almost here to my house."

Coleman was not really paying attention to Devin because he was amazed by
the houses that were in Devin's neighborhood. Even though he knew that his
road was in the same area as Senyar Farm Road, he never went into it until
now. The houses in Senyar Farm Road made the houses on Newfields Road look
small. The large colonials had so much room between them. The lawn was as
green as the trees that surrounded them and was as thick as the grass in
Fenway Park. They definitely did not look like that they belonged in their
small New England town.

Coleman felt the car turning to the right, into a driveway where the house
was partially hidden behind the tall trees that were scattered about the
front of the house. Even though Devin's house was not as impressive as
some of the houses in his neighborhood, it still looked very nice, as if he
compared a Lexus to a Mercedes. He could not believe that Devin's parents
had as much money as they portray to have.

Devin stepped out of the car at the same moment as Coleman did, but Coleman
was as lost as he ever could be. He looked as dazed and confused as some
of the stoners at the high school.

Devin patted Coleman on the back, "Coleman, come on, let's head onto my
house. I bet you don't want to be dazed all afternoon. Let's head on in."

Coleman and Devin went to the trunk that Michelle opened. The boys picked
up Coleman's stuff for the night. Devin could not believe that he brought
as much as he did. In addition to his backpack, Devin felt like he was
carrying as much as a week's supply. The boys followed Michelle's lead and
stepped into the house through the large front door. When Coleman stepped
into the house, he thought that he was going to drop his possession
instantly. The house looked just as nice on the inside as it did on the
inside. He could not count all of the rooms that were right in front of
him. This house blew away his house out of the water.

Devin asked, "Do you want to drop your stuff up in my room?"

Coleman reluctantly asked, "Will this make it worse?"

Devin blew off that question and laughed, "Oh Coleman, you crack me up
because my room's is so dirty, so you're going to make it better by
covering all of the stuff up."

"Yeah, ok let's go upstairs. I want to see your room"

The boys slowly went upstairs. Coleman was just amazed by what he saw, but
he would be more surprised when he saw what was to come. Devin led Coleman
to take a right, and he saw that there was a room that just was in complete
disarray. Papers and folders were everywhere.

Then Devin stepped through a doorway that led into a huge bedroom. Coleman
was shocked because he could not conceive of a 15 year old having a bedroom
like the one that Devin had for a 15 year old. The room had a new desktop
that was only months old, there was a 25 inch television, a Sony
PlayStation 2, a DVD player, a large stereo system, even a drumkit. There
were all of these posters on the walls of these musicians that seemed to be
well before Coleman's time.

Devin literately plopped everything that he held down to the floor and
asked, "What do you think?"

Coleman looked like a little kid in a candy store, "It's pretty sweet
Devin; I wish I had a room like this."

"You're room is pretty cool though too."

"Yeah, but you have everything, I never would have think that," Coleman
became sarcastic, "Great posters, they look terrific for a teenager."

"You don't like my posters? Are you on crack?"

Coleman held his hands up and mumbled, "I dunno."

Devin tried to make his case, "These are the greatest musicians ever! I
can't believe you never cared for Rush, Fleetwood Mac, The Moody Blues,
Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, U2, and Dave Matthews. These are probably better
than the crap you listen to."

"I never heard of Rush before! I bet my musicians are better because
people have heard of them before."

"I doubt it. Rush is so sweet, especially their song `2112'."

"Devin, nobody in all of the freshmen class has ever heard of `2112'."

Devin tried to show up Coleman, "What's better then?"

"Well, there's Count The Stars, Weezer, Less Than Jake, Story of The Year,
Riddlin' Kids..."

Devin interrupted, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're telling me that these punk
bands are better than Zeppelin."

"Yea..."

"Kid, you're on crack."

"I know, but that's why you love me."

Devin laughed, "Yeah, that's actually why, you're so right!"

"Yeah," Coleman started to walk closer to Devin and opened up his arms.
Devin opened up his as well and gave Coleman a tight hug. Coleman just
loved it when he was being loved. "I love this Devin."

"Me too, but I think what we are going to do tonight will be great."

"Especially with the stuff I brought for tonight."

Devin looked puzzled, "What stuff?

"Well remember that I told you yesterday that we should have booze, porno,
and cards last night?"

"Yeah, but I didn't think you were serio...," Devin stuttered when he saw
Coleman taking out a bottle of whisky, a few pictures of what appeared to
be naked boys, a few porno magazines, and a deck of cards.

"Good lord!!! I can't you did this."

"Yeah, I did. Now we can have a lot more fun tonight."

"If we can remember what happened. Dude, put those away, my mom will shoot
to the moon if she sees any of this shit."

"Ok, I'll take this outside later tonight."

"Sure then, but not now. Coleman, it's only 4:30, we'll get drunk later."

"Ok, we should do something fun now. What do you have that's fun?"

"Have you ever seen `Road to Perdition'?"

Coleman's eyes look a little disappointed, "No, I haven't but I don't think
it's for me."

"Well, I have the DVD. I really think you will like it."

"I'll watch it...it does have Tom Hanks. It's worth a shot"

"Ok, anything for you, Coleman."

Devin went over to his mini DVD collection and took the DVD out. He placed
the disc in there and plopped down on his bed. He moved back towards the
pillows. Coleman followed him; he went onto the bed and snuggled right
between the pillows and Devin's warm body. It was so pleasant for the boy
because he felt he was being loved by Devin.

As the DVD was running, Coleman could feel that Devin had a tighter grip on
him. Devin's arms wrapped around the boy as he lightly stroked his body.
Coleman just loved the attention he was getting, and he snuggled even
closer.

Devin waited for days before he had the chance to love his boy alone; he
knew that Coleman did as well. Words were not needed at this point,
Coleman was submissive to Devin's silent request. This was the green light
for Devin to have his hand go under Coleman's navy blue t-shirt. Coleman
became excited by the electric-like responses he was receiving from Devin's
loving touch. He closed his eyes and let out a soft moan, one like he was
trying to wake up; but this time he was waking up to a dream-like sequence.

Devin's hands were softly stroking Coleman's hairless chest. Devin
explored around Coleman's chest and flat stomach while Coleman allowed him
to proceed exploring his boyish body.

Still, still no words were said during this exchange; the boys were getting
into each other's love too much for them to even speak a word. The setting
sun just began to peek through the window; the sunlight started to
infiltrate into the room. Slowly, the light crept further up on the bed.

The birds that were right outside the window were chirping, but the boys
did not hear them. The love that they were expressing was too much for
their other senses.

As Devin was stroking Coleman's chest, Coleman began to cuddle his face
into Devin's body, and kissed his shirt's sleeve. Coleman progressed up
Devin's shirt, one at a time, and eventually reached up to his neck. When
Coleman's lips found flesh, he began to use his tongue. He licked all over
Devin's neck, going around and around it. He continued to do this as
Devin's hands began to lift Coleman's shirt over his chest. Coleman had to
stop his kissing as Devin lifted his boy's shirt over his head. The
topless Coleman looked shocked and shocked to Devin, but he continued to
unstoppable kissing, he began to kiss Devin's face as Devin started to go
under Coleman's shorts.

Even though Devin saw Coleman's boyhood in the forest, he never touched it.
Devin never felt another's boy cock before. Therefore, he was as tentative
as a puppy to play with a new toy. Devin wanted to go all in, but he did
not want to scare Coleman away.

Devin instantly recalled the scene when Coleman went down on him and
started to blow him. Devin thought to himself, "Well, if Coleman did not
even really ask me about sucking my cock, then I guess me going under
wouldn't as bad..."

Devin's right hand rubbed against Coleman's happy trail, but it lingered
there until Devin knew that both he and Coleman were ready for the
inevitable. With each stroke, his hand descended even further down.
Coleman was about to gasp when he felt Devin's hand preparing for the kill,
but Devin stopped; he used all of his left hand's talents to unbuckle
Coleman's belt, unbuckle Coleman's shorts, and let his fly go down.
Coleman's boxers became exposed and Devin's hand disappeared underneath
them.

As Devin went for the kill, Coleman gasped; he never felt the touch of
another boy's hand touch his boyhood. It was such an exhilaration for him
because it was not his own hand touching his cock.

Coleman was starting to breathe heavier s he said in between breaths, "Oh
Devin, that's awesome. Continue to explore down there."

Devin did what he was told to do; he continued to nestle his hand around
Coleman's growing member. Out of the blue, Coleman pulled away from Devin
just enough so he could get leverage to Devin's shorts. Coleman unbuckled
Devin's shorts, opened up his fly, and pulled them down while Devin raised
his cheeks off the bed. Coleman now had access to the thing he wanted, he
opened up Devin's boxers and revealed Devin's prized possession.

Coleman could not believe that he had what he wanted in his hand. The
starry look that Coleman had was a warning to Devin; he had to stop before
Coleman went down on him. He suddenly raised his back off the bed and
kissed Coleman. The kiss caused Coleman to lose his concentration just
enough to allow Devin to take control.

"Coleman, I love you and all, but I don't want my mom to see us have fun.
I promise you that when we are out in the tents, you can go down on me all
you want all night.

Coleman's expressions became exasperated, he looked as disappointed as a
little kid not getting the toy he wanted for his birthday, "Ok Dev, you're
right. I'll just wait."

"That's what I want to hear. I think you'll love what I have planned with
all of the stuff that you and I will have."

"I guess I do," Coleman giggled.

Devin and Coleman zipped their shorts back up just before Michelle stepped
into the room. Her face turned to shock as if it was controlled by a dial
when she saw Devin's unkempt bed , Coleman's bare chest, and the boys close
proximity to each other.

Michelle had a suspicious tone in her voice, "What are you boys up to?"

Devin became scared, there he had to make up a story, "Uh, well..., Coleman
and I, uh, had a little wrestling match on the bed, and...yea...afterwards
he became hot and uh...took off his shirt, but I'm fine."

Michelle blew away Devin's comment in her mind, but began to leave as she
said, "Well, just don't break the furniture in here."

"OK mom, I'll see you in a bit."

"Buy guys, she shut the door such that it made a slam, and the echo was
throughout the room."

"Phew!!!," Coleman said, "Good thing that I didn't go down, or your mom
would have flipped by now."

Devin condescended his boy's remark, "Yeah ya think? If we got caught, I
would not live in this house anymore."

"Yeah...", Coleman's voice trailed off, "but I want to finish the movie
like now, eat, and then go outside with you to go all night on."

Devin laughed with his head back, "Coleman you're so funny, that's why I
love you so much."

"Yeah..."

The boys slowly looked back at the television to watch "Road To Perdition".
They realized they could snuggle up again without touching each other to
get each off, and then have there fun. The boys got in a position such
that Devin wrapped his arms around Coleman's little frail body.

Coleman then had a lighthearted voice, "I love this Devin."

"Me too."

End of chapter 8

I really appreciate for you to read through this, but I think that all of
it was important. So yeah, I'll get the next chapter done relatively soon.
