Subject: In Darkness Love Will Save Us part 4

This is a work of fiction some events are of my own history.  Any
characters with similarities to people are purely coincidental

Where we let off: (Joe and Chris walked in on Mike and Josh making out.)

"Hey guys!  So you finally did it Mike I was rooting for you.  Glad you

"You to Josh, Mikes not been able to stop talking about you for the past 2
days he kept bugging me to try and come over earlier." Chris said while

"Oh shit!" Josh said jumping back filled with fear.  "It was uhh nothing

"What?  Oh...! I understand, Josh I am not like that if you love Mike that's
100% fine by me considering I am going to marry his older brother and all."

"Excuse me?!" Chris and Josh said at the same time.

"Oh shit" Joe and Mike said in unison.  "Damn Joe couldn't keep it a secret
for even 20 minutes!" Mike said. "It's been near 2 hours mike," Joe
said. "Ooh true that well now we got explaining to do," Mike said while he
and Joe were giggling. As the bewildered Josh and Chris stared at them
wonder what the hell was going on.

"Well guys lets go eat dinner and we'll explain everything that includes
our part Josh" Joe said.

"Uh Joe I am not sure anymore..." "With mike and all..." Josh said worried.

"Don't worry Josh I was including mike in our plan anyway." Joe said.

"Ok now I am even more confused." Chris said.

"Don't worry it's good for the most part. But lets go downstairs and talk
while we eat," Josh said.

Lets begin. The kitchen of Joe and Josh's home - (Joe is our narrator)

"Well guys it's time we explain everything.  Chris, Mike the day Josh
arrived I made a promise to him one I intend to keep.  I told Josh that if
he wished we would move to Baltimore and live there so he could continue to
go to school and have his old life back but with a loving family." Mike and
Chris looked stunned by this their eyes were going red and starting to
water.  "But before you get all sad and gushy we need to talk about it.
Chris, Josh and I have agreed we are going to live in Baltimore.  But like
I told Josh earlier I've already included you and Mike in our plan.  If you
want that is..." I said.  "Well Joe I am not sure... I want to but I have to
think of Mike first." "Why don't we leave you guys alone for a bit."
"Thanks Joe we won't be long." Joe and Josh got up, grabbed all their
plates and proceeded to the kitchen to clean them up.


"Josh I never really asked you about this.  Do you want Mike to come with
us?  I don't want to sound offensive Josh but I need to know.  Do you love
him Josh?" I said.  "I am not sure Joe I don't really know what love feels
like..." Josh said.  "You tell me. When you see mike what do you feel like?"
I replied.  "Well I am not sure to be honest.  When I first saw him today
this weird like catch in my stomach it wasn't butterflies it was like
painful that I wanted to see him so badly.  Than we kissed and it was like
we were on fire my entire body felt like I was being electrocuted." Josh
said.  "Well little man I know what you have it's a seriously illness that

worried.  "Ye your love sick.  That's what I feel every time I see Chris
let alone hear his voice." Joe said. "I hope he wants to come than because
I guess I do love him.  I love him a lot actually." "We'll just have to see
but so do I... I don't think I could live without you and Chris now." I said.
"I feel the same about Mike and you." Josh replied.

In the Dining room (Chris is our narrator)

"Mike personally I want to go with Joe so badly but I could never take you
unless you actually want to go.  After all we've lived here most of your
life." I said.  "Chris I think I love Josh... I don't think I could live
without him.  When we kissed I knew I needed to be with him forever he was
so soft so loving... when I did the `sex test' on him like you said I should;
it worked.  He said he wasn't ready," Mike said. "Wow dude nobodies ever
passed that for me.  Probably why I am still a virgin though but at least I
waited now I have Joe.  God Mike I hope he was serious when he said he

promise I'd let him do it himself," Mike replied.  "We're getting side
tracked mike.  Are you sure you want to move to Baltimore with Josh and

"Well than is it official? Are we a family?" Josh said.  "Well guys we
thought about this without much time because we didn't need it.  We're
coming with you!" Chris said.  Both Josh and I ran to our respective
boyfriends and kissed them.  For Chris and I this was our first kiss; it
was passionate and gentle yet it sent jolts of electricity through my
entire body.  I felt like time had finally fixed its error.  I wasn't the
error; us not being together was the error of time. But for Mike and Josh
this was just what was to come. Even though they both agreed they weren't
fully ready for sex they didn't agree that making out like this was

2 Minutes later (Back to normal)

"Well guys me and Chris will sort out the rest of the details you guys
should get to bed it's a big day tomorrow." "Really what's happening

"Cool" both Chris and Mike replied.  "Wait what flight? And you both knew?"
Josh sat there perplexed.  "Oh ye why'd you think we were staying with you
for a week? Did it not seem odd at all?" Chris said.  "Well ye but I was so
excited to see Mike that it didn't bother me," Josh replied.  "Aw I was to
Josh but Joe told us not to tell you he wanted this to be a surprise." Mike
said.  "You know getting left in the dark this much is getting abit old,"
Josh said sarcastically.  "It's more fun for us. Anyway you two Bed NOW!"
Chris said.  "Ok mom..." Josh and Mike said running up the stairs.  "You
little bastards!" Chris yelled up the stairs jokingly.

"Well Chris it's just us now... wanna talk?" Joe said.  "Ye I think we should
get things set up." "That marry comment... did you mean it Joe?" "Yes
actually I did Chris.  Lets be honest we both want it; we've both not dated
since we've met.  We've had our ups and downs and been best friends for the
past 2 years.  We out do the majority of couples these days.  Chris with
Justin and I it was to the death; and for Justin it really was god rest his

Chris will you go ask Mike what happened." Joe said.  The second Joe

love." Chris said in an utter rage at this point.  He was so disappointed
in his brother Josh did something beautiful and special.  While Mike didn't
even care enough to tell Josh he loved him.


Chris ran back to Joe and His room even in this much sadness thinking him
and Joe were a couple made it all go away for a second.  Until he saw Josh
there still crying so hard in so much pain because of his stupid brother.
He walked up to Josh and motioned Joe to let him hold Josh.  "Josh I am so
sorry for what mike did... I know how much pain your in.  I can't make it go
away but please believe me when I say that I am so so sorry that you had to
go through that," Chris said.  Joe was so confused and worried with what
Chris said he became angry thinking that Mike had assaulted Josh or
something like that.  "What did Mike do Chris?" Joe asked in a panic.
"Want me to explain Josh or would you rather do it?" Chris asked turning
Josh's face towards his.  "It hurts to much..." Josh said bursting into tears
again after getting control for a few seconds.  "Joe it's not what you
think. It's a lot worse actually.  Josh gave himself to Mike and Mike was
selfish and didn't show josh any emotion or try to comfort him." Chris
said. "They had sex?!" Joe said astonished he'd hoped he'd heard wrong
their family (even though he wasn't related to them) put sex of any form as
the highest plateau of love Joe and his siblings, his parents, his
grandparents all didn't have sex of any form till they'd found the one they
would spend there life with.  And that tradition had never been broken of
course in Joe and Josh's case it was different getting married as a gay man

Josh staring at him.  "I sorry I spaced out there a little I guess." He
looked at Josh who started crying again and hugged Joe. "They didn't have
sex like that Joe.  Josh gave himself to Mike in a spiritual way.  All Josh
did was jack Mike off but that wasn't the issue.  I found out that it was
that Mike wasn't reciprocating any feelings." Chris said.  "Isn't that
right Josh?" Josh nodded his head and cuddled back up to Joe feeling empty.
He felt like he'd given his soul to mike but instead of mike giving his to
Josh he just laid there and did nothing.  He didn't even return Josh's
kiss.  "Oh you poor thing Josh I was worried you didn't take sex seriously
but now I see you really thought you'd found you one person to fill you
life didn't you?" Joe said hugging Josh so tight trying to give him some
strength.  "I didn't think it I know I did but it was like he didn't even
care.  Can we just go to sleep I'm so tired and I don't wanna be alone
right now" Josh said pleading to Joe and Chris.  "Of course little man you
sleep in the middle me and your brother will hold you that sound good?"
Chris said genuinely caring he hugged Josh as well.  "That sounds great
thanks Joe, thanks Chris you guys are the greatest" Josh said as he hugged
Chris and Joe.  They got into position Josh in the middle Chris on his
right and Joe on his left they both cuddled up to him as promise holding
him, loving him.  As Mike crept in and watched as he felt his own heart
break knowing he'd ever hurt Josh he just hoped he could fix it.
