In Time

Caleb sat alone in his bedroom wondering why things seemed only to be
getting worse. He had just gotten into a fight with Martin, his position of
captain was on the line, and he felt even more depressed than he had
before. His father had finally taken him to see a therapist in hopes that
he would be pulled out of his depression. Yet he only felt himself burning
more with hate.

He got on his laptop and pulled up a log book he had started keeping. His
therapist told him that it would help if he could vent his emotions through
a journal of some type. He started a new entry for the day.

Entry 11, Wednesday

Ever since I was told no, I just feel that nothing else matters but getting
him. I know what's happening. I still love Alex, and I'm still clinging to
some hope I'll get him, but it's pointless. He just doesn't love me. He
loves that jackass Martin. Who the hell is he anyway? Why does he love him
instead?! He just met him a few months ago and they are already dating?! I
knew him for so much longer, and love him so much more, but he chose him
over me. My dream crashed, and now I'm standing outside the burning hull of
my former cloud. It sucks, and I'm constantly reminded of the fact that I
failed. I still see those two together, my mom is gone, and I'm slipping
into depression. I'm not stupid like most people though. I'm not a fucking
drama queen and doing this just because I want to cause trouble. I truly
hate Martin, and I can't stand the fact that I constantly feel a sting
every time I see him and Alex together. It's that constant reminder that I
failed. And then they both come out about dating right after Alex rejects
me!? Are they trying to just rub it in more that I failed!? Am I just a
failure? I know that I'm intelligent, I'm a pretty good athlete, and a lot
of people have told me I'm attractive. Yet I still feel like it's all the
things I want to succeed at that I fail. Hell if I wanted to I could get a
girlfriend or boyfriend right now. I know several girls who have a crush on
me. Yea I'm gay, but I could do it just to show that I can. I can buy
anything I want right now and just show it off. I already bought all that
new gear, and that was at least $500 worth of stuff, since I got it all
custom made. I mean I even got a scholarship for that standardized test I
took because I scored so high. I've got a ton of stuff, but the one thing I
want is Alex. I don't care about any of that other stuff. Even my mom
leaving would be worth it if I could have Alex. He's just so amazing. His
body is so perfectly sculpted, and his personality is amazing in every
dimension. He's smart like me, and he has a bright future, like me. He's
laid back enough to be fun, but serious when he needs to be. He's a lot
like me when I think about it, and maybe that's why I love him so much. Yet
I hate that he chose Martin, and if I can't have Alex, then I'll keep
Martin away from him at the very least.

Alex deserves better, and Martin is for sure not that.

Caleb stopped typing and saved the log. He then copied it onto a flash
drive and put it on his desk. His therapist had told him that if he wanted
to, he could bring the logs with him so that he could try to help him
identify the problem and solve it sooner. Caleb personally thought it was
all bullshit, but he went along with it to make his dad pleased. He knew
that his dad was suffering just as much since his mom left, but he was
trying his best to keep his son happy. Caleb at least recognized that, and
didn't want to do anything to upset that balance.

Caleb sat back and looked over his log again and wondered why it seemed so
simple on paper, but his emotions were so much more complicated. It was
like navigating a complex web, with no reference points, little visibility,
and no help. Once something made sense, something else didn't.

Once something was solved, another problem arose. It was a vicious cycle,
and it was eating him alive as he was trying his best to stay afloat.

He didn't feel that it was any reason to slack off in school. Nor did he
feel it gave him any reason to act in a way that he considered stupid and
try to hurt himself or start having outbursts at people. He was sure that
he was above that, and instead he found a different way to keep himself
afloat.

He decided that if he could simply show off with either skills or stuff
that people would start admiring him more. People would start becoming
jealous of him, and everyone would want to be his friend. Then with all of
this reassurance he could regain all of his lost confidence, because
everyone else around him would be his form of reassurance. Plus, with all
this social momentum, he just might have a shot at separating Alex and
Martin, and potentially making Alex his.

He wasn't entirely sure if his plan would work, or even stood a chance, yet
even if it didn't he felt he needed it. No, he knew that he needed it. With
the blow he had suffered, he didn't have any self-confidence or personal
reassurance left. The only way he could even manage was if everyone else
told him how awesome he was. He just wanted people to tell him that he was
awesome, that they loved him, and that he had a reason to live. He knew all
of this, and he knew one other thing that scared him more than anything
else ever had in his life.

If this didn't work, and he couldn't get people to act as a supplement for
his self-confidence, then he would have none, and he knew very well that he
would slip into a depression. It would be just like last time, but this
time, there was no safety net dream to fall on, just a black hole that
would suck him in, and never let him out.

It was Friday practice and everyone was gathered in the gym to begin.

"Ok everyone, today I'm going to let Caleb take over for practice, and here
he finally is," Coach Hudson announced.

Caleb walked in through the gym doors and onto the court. He was wearing
some very stylish and expensive gear that was black, grey, and red. He
looked like a basketball star as walked past everyone.

"Wow Caleb, you look awesome!" one of the teammates said.

"Seriously dude, that's some really cool stuff," another one said.

"Yea Caleb you look like some sport star or something!"

"Thanks guys, I got it Thursday," Caleb said brightly.

He looked down the row and noticed that Martin wasn't there but Alex was at
the end, and staring at him. He could clearly see that he was checking him
out. Caleb's breath caught in his throat as he began to blush a bit.

"Ok guys get into the following formations and let's begin practice," Caleb
commanded as the team moved into perfect formation.

They began practice and very quickly Caleb noticed how good everyone else
was playing, and how effective his formations were. His half of the
scrimmage team was always making scores, and the other team had zip. Yet he
was doing even better than the rest. Everyone was giving him compliments on
his skills, and how he was always making just the right moves. Even Alex
complimented him once, and that was the best. Before he knew it practice
had ended and his team had scored the most points ever in a practice.

"Amazing job everyone. Caleb can I talk to you aside quickly?" Coach Hudson
said as Caleb walked over.

"Yes Coach?"

"Caleb, that was amazingly well done! So well done that I think
championships should be easy this year for us. I want you to draw up our
scrimmages from now on," Coach Hudson said.

"Really?!" Caleb replied in excitement.

"Really. Now head on home and start making a few for our next practices,"
Coach Hudson said with a bright smile.

"I will Coach," Caleb responded in a cheery tone.

As Caleb walked away, he noticed that Alex was standing alone near the
doors that led into the locker room. Caleb quickly walked over.

"Hey Alex, is there something up?"

"Yea, actually I wanted to talk to you a bit," Alex said.

"Sure, what did you want to talk about?"

"Well actually I wanted to talk alone, so just follow me," Alex answered.

"Ok," Caleb responded.

The two then walked into the hall that led to the back part of the gym. No
one else was there, and it was very unlikely that anyone else would walk in
since this was used mainly by opposing teams during games.

"Caleb, I wanted to say I am sorry for being so mean to you. I also wanted
to tell you that I...well I just don't think I love Martin anymore," Alex
said hesitantly.

"Don't worry Alex...I'm always here for you dude," Caleb said as he moved
his hand out and put it on Alex's shoulder.

"Actually, Caleb, I...I wanted to be with you," Alex said as he locked eyes
with Caleb.

Caleb felt his heart skip a beat and he knew instinctively what to do. He
started to lean in and closed his eyes. He felt his face getting closer and
closer to Alex's, and then he was just about to feel his lips meet.

Suddenly Caleb sat up and gasped as he looked around the dark room. He
realized that it was still Wednesday night and that he was in his bed. It
had all been a dream, and he still didn't have Alex.

His breathing became shallow as tears began to stream down his face. He
began sobbing quietly, trying to prevent his dad from hearing him. He was
barely able to hold himself together anymore, and he began to wonder when
the glue that kept him whole would fail.

This beautiful thought, this once dream-like scenario, had died and was now
haunting him. His dream was now evolving into a nightmare.

It was Thursday morning, and Corey had just finished first period English
and was heading to his next class. Just as he had gotten to the halfway
point he suddenly felt someone tap his shoulder and turned around to see
Nick.

"Hey Corey," Nick said.

"Oh, hey Nick, what's up?"

"Nothing much, I was wondering if you and Jacob were going to the dance
next Friday."

"That's right, it's next Friday," Corey said, suddenly remembering it.

He had wanted to go with Jacob to the dance, and it had been part of the
reason that he wanted Jacob to come out about being a couple. Though he got
him to come out, he wasn't sure if he could get him to go to the dance just
yet.

"Well I might, it just depends on what Jacob does," Corey said.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, Jacob came out, but he's still iffy about doing stuff in
public. He's still very laissez-faire about things."

"Oh...well maybe he'll warm up to the idea. Besides no one really seems to
care about you two being gay, so I don't think anyone will try
anything. Plus if anyone does I think the teachers will stop it pretty
quickly."

"Yea I guess that's true. I just have to convince him of it," Corey said.

"Well good luck dude, you two would make an awesome couple for the dance,"
Nick said as he lightly punched Corey on the shoulder and headed off to his
class.

Corey went to the water fountain quickly before he continued to class. As
he was walking, he began to think about what Nick said. He really did think
that they would make an awesome couple. He just needed to pull Jacob out of
his shell.

He stood, waiting feverishly for someone to answer the door. He had tried
to call, text, facebook message, and everything in between, but to no
avail. Finally he decided that it was time to talk, face to face. Then the
door opened up and there stood Jacob.

"Oh...hey Martin," Jacob said.

"Hey Jacob, is Alex here?" Martin asked.

"Well no he's not home..." but before Jacob could finish Alex came from the
kitchen into the hallway.

"Jacob who is it?" Alex said trying to look past Jacob.

"ALEX!" Martin said quickly.

Alex immediately turned away and ran up the stairs to his room.

"ALEX WAIT....Jacob, let me by," Martin said forcefully.

"Martin listen I was..."

"Jacob...if you were having problems with Corey, and you had to talk to
him, would you really want to be told no at my front door?" Martin said
quietly.

Jacob looked at him for a moment and then let out a reluctant sigh as he
moved to the side.

Martin nodded and immediately went by and up the stairs. He got to Alex's
room and tried to open the door but it was locked.

"Alex...please let me in," Martin asked in a pleading tone.

"Just leave Martin! I don't want to talk," Alex shouted.

"But I do! I know I broke the promise, but I swear I'm sorry for it. I just
want to talk about it!"

"I just want to be alone..."

"Alex....please just let me in, I really want to talk to you. I miss you,
and I miss talking to you, and I want to make this work. Just let me
explain...please," Martin said, his voice was beginning to tremble as he
became desperate to just hold Alex again.

Martin could hear a sigh and then he heard the door click. He quickly took
a hold of the knob and opened the door. Inside he saw Alex standing in the
middle of the room with his back to Martin.

"Alex," Martin said as he quickly walked up to him and took him in a tight
embrace from behind.

"I thought you said you wanted to talk," Alex said coldly as he maneuvered
out of the embrace.

"Yes I do, I want to explain what happened and what caused it."

"Ok I'm listening," Alex said flatly.

"Ok, so I had just finished with my shower and was walking out when Caleb
came in. He made some snicker when he looked me over..."

"Looked you over...like checking you out?" Alex said a little surprised.

"More like comparing sizes. Anyway I was about to walk away when he told me
he wished you weren't on call so he could see you in the showers again. He
was talking about you two last October. I know because he said he saw me in
the bushes and knew I asked you about it. I tried to leave again but then
he said it was sad he lost to me because I had a smaller dick than him,"

Martin said, getting angry just repeating it all again.

"It does sound like he was being an asshole, but who threw the first
punch?" Alex asked.

"....well...I did..." Martin said quietly.

"Martin, dude what the fuck..."

"Wait...one last thing. After I talked to the coach I saw him in the halls
and he told me he was going to steal you from me. He said he would get you
somehow. He's still after you Alex, and he's doing this to break us apart,"
Martin said, somewhat exasperated.

"Did you say anything to him after that?" Alex asked, sensing the argument
hadn't ended there.

Martin wanted to lie and say something else, but so far lying only seemed
to be more destructive than it was beneficial. He decided to say the truth.

"I said his mom left him because he was a douche bag and not because he was
gay," Martin said in a voice full of shame.

"Martin, that's really low," Alex said in disgust.

"I know, but he was really pissing me off dude..."

"So every time he pisses you off you're going to just beat the shit out of
him and make low insults?"

"Why the hell are you defending him!?" Martin said, his voice rising
slowly.

"Because he was my best friend, and I still want to make things work out
with me and him.

Don't you get that I love you and will only date you, and that I'm not
leaving to go with Caleb ever. You have to control yourself better," Alex
said critically.

"As if you're one to talk!" Martin said harshly.

"What do you mean!?"

"You deleted my texts and lied to Ashley so that you could control me. Then
you told me I had to tell her to fuck off. This is the exact same situation
Alex! Don't you get it!? Don't fucking tell me that I have to control
myself better when you can't even do that yourself! Alex, lay off; I
already said I'm sorry; I won't let it happen again. Isn't that enough?!"
Martin said, finally finished with his slight rampage of a speech.

Alex stood there speechless. He knew that Martin was making sense, despite
being pissed off.

He knew that he had poor control himself. But Caleb was different; Caleb
had been his best friend. He had spent so many summers with him; he had
shared so many special moments with him. He just didn't want to see him get
hurt.

"Martin...dude I'm sorry, I just don't want to see Caleb get hurt either. I
mean he was my best friend. But you're my boyfriend, and you take
precedence over him, and I want our relationship to stay together and last,
more than I want mine and Caleb to continue. I'll give it up if I have to,
but please, just try and give him leeway. I just don't want anyone getting
hurt," Alex said in a desperate and pleading tone.

Martin walked up to Alex, and rather than respond, took him into a tight
embrace and moved to place his lips on Alex's. They kissed for several
moments as they let their arms move around each other's body. Finally the
two moved back while still holding each other. Again they locked eyes and
stared deeply at the one that they loved.

"I love you Alex," Martin said.

"I love you to Martin," Alex replied.

Caleb sat in the soft couch in the mid-sized office like room. There was a
desk with files and a laptop and opposite of that there was a bookshelf
with tons of thick and worn books. In the seat, directly across from him,
sat a man who was in his early thirties, with sandy colored red hair, and a
serious but somewhat playful complexion. This man was his therapist. He had
always started off the conversations with small talk, but then moved into
the more serious subjects.

"So Caleb I read over the logs you brought in," Dr. Webb said as he held
the printed out journals in his hand.

"Yea I brought them like you asked."

"So again you're focused on Alex. I read through your logs and noticed that
you kept mentioning him as...well here "as close to perfection as a person
can be" and then here "He's just so amazing". So you're really into him
aren't you?"

"Well yea, I love Alex," Caleb said as if it should be obvious.

"You also told me last week you think you're getting depressed, but you're
not showing the typical signs of depression."

"I just feel worthless, I don't have Alex, my mom is gone, and I'm always
reminded because of that asshole Martin. He beat me up yesterday!" Caleb
said in anger.

"Did he just beat you up, or did you do something to anger him?" Dr. Webb
said, suspecting that Caleb had managed to piss off this Martin person.

"Well...I did say some stuff, but he still threw the first punch."

"Well Caleb, when I was younger, if someone pissed me off I probably would
have thrown the first punch too. I don't know if Martin is to blame for
that," Dr. Webb said in serious tone.

Caleb drew his eyes down in embarrassment, but he was also angry that he
was the one being blamed.

"Well Caleb, you're saying you're depressed and you feel that you're
worthless. Yet in log 11, you say that you think you love Alex because he's
so much like you, and you keep describing him as, well almost as some type
of god. So Caleb, do you really think you're worthless?"

"I don't know...I just want Alex, I don't care about what I can do. It's
the fact that he can do all that stuff, and he's just so awesome," Caleb
pouted.

"So you think that by showing off, you'll get him? Be honest, when someone
shows off, do you really think they are going to be admired more? I mean
how do you think people will honestly react?"

"Well...I want them to be my friends and tell me I'm cool. If I'm more
dominant socially, then I have more people telling me I can do what I want
to. Maybe I can get Alex that way," Caleb said.

"Caleb, to be completely honest with you, most people that just show off
aren't looked upon well. For the most part, people don't like them because
they seem like jerks for doing it. Usually people do it because they are
trying to make up for a lack of something, and in your case, its self-
confidence because Alex turned you down and your mom left you," Dr. Webb
explained.

Caleb looked at him flatly. He knew that Dr. Webb was correct, but he
wanted there to be an exception for him. He just wanted to feel like he had
some self-worth.

"I know, but maybe it will be different for me," Caleb replied.

Dr. Webb sighed for a moment and then looked back down at his clipboard. He
knew that Caleb had an un-healthy obsession with Alex, and he knew this was
the source of his problems. He also knew he was trying to show off to get
Alex to date him. For some reason he thought he would still get people to
like him by showing off, even though he knew that wasn't the usual case.

Yet it wasn't making sense. He wasn't just trying to show off to get Alex
back, but he seemed to be doing it to get people to admire him more. It was
obvious that even without trying to show off Caleb had a lot of good things
going for him. He would easily have plenty of people telling him this, so
why would it mean so much to be admired and envied? Then it clicked. He
quickly read back to log 11 and read that phrase again. He thought Alex was
a lot like him. He considered Alex an equal, and he was obsessed with
him. Once he was rejected, he thought it was because Alex was at a level
above him, so in order to make up for this he was trying to show off, to
get his self confidence back. He had Alex on an endlessly high pedestal
that he was trying to compensate for by showing off. He was already
formulating a plan of how to convey this to Caleb.

"Here Caleb I want you to look at something," Dr. Webb said as he pulled up
a browser.

He then pulled up a picture of a brand new Mercedes E550 coupe.

"Look at this picture," Dr. Webb said as he pulled up one of the pictures
from the gallery.

The car was in an ideal setting with perfect lighting and obviously the
photo had been edited to make it look better than it was in reality.

"It's a nice car," Caleb said, confused as to where this was going.

"It is, and I actually have one of these, here come look," Dr. Webb said.

He walked out of the office and to the front parking lot with Caleb and
stood there for a moment in front of his car.

"So tell me, does it look as nice as it did in the photo?" Dr. Webb asked.

"Well...not really, it's still nice, but it looked a lot nicer in the
picture," Caleb said, still confused as to where this was going.

"Exactly. Here let's go back into my office," Dr. Webb said as he walked
back inside with Caleb.

The two sat down again. Caleb still had a confused expression on his face.

"So what was the point of that?"

"The point, Caleb, is that it's very easy to make things appear better than
they really are. I could very easily tell you something and I could
describe it with certain words to make it appear even better." Dr. Webb
looked up at the clock and realized that they were just about out of time.

"So what are you trying to say?" Caleb asked impatiently.

"Just think about Alex. Do you think he's really as amazing as you make him
seem? I want you to think about that until our session next Thursday. Tell
your father I would like to speak to him once you see him in the lobby,"
Dr. Webb said.

Caleb got up without saying anything and walked out the door. Dr. Webb knew
this might be a bit risky, but he had a plan, and if it worked he could
help Caleb come to realize his infatuation with Alex, and then correct it.

It was Friday evening and Corey and Jacob were sitting in the back of
Jacob's parents Land Rover.

Finally we actually can drive in the stupid thing

Jacob thought since they hardly drove it. He sat there watching Corey, who
was occupied with watching everything pass by. He had been in an odd mood
all day. It wasn't a bad mood, just distracted. He seemed distant, as
though he was thinking about something, but Jacob couldn't quite decipher
what it was he was thinking about.

"Ok boys we're here," Ms. Stewart said as she stopped the Land Rover in
front of the restaurant.

Jacob had agreed to go on a date with Corey, so the two were going to first
grab some dinner and then go to see a movie. Yet Jacob had been somewhat
reluctant and it required a bit of pushing from Corey, but he managed to
get him to agree.

"Thanks mom," Jacob said as he got out of the car with Corey.

"You two call me when you're ready to go see the movie," Ms. Stewart said.

"We will. Thanks Ms. Stewart," Corey said as Ms. Stewart pulled away in the
Land Rover.

The two boys walked up to the restaurant and walked inside to the hostess
table. It was a Japanese themed steak house that was upscale casual in its
design.

"Hello, what size is the party?" The hostess said with a smile.

"Just two ma'am," Corey said.

"Ok then follow me please," the hostess said while she took two menus.

She walked them both to a booth that was closer to the front of the
restaurant, but then Jacob spoke up.

"Umm...could we possibly have a seat a bit closer to the back please,"
Jacob asked.

"Of course," the hostess said as she took them further back.

Corey was disappointed that Jacob wanted to sit further back. He knew why,
and it wasn't a very good sign for what he was going to be asking Jacob. He
didn't want to have to push Jacob, but he really wanted to be more public
about their relationship. It wasn't like he wanted to flaunt it, but he
didn't want to feel like he had to constrain himself every time they were
in public.

The two boys sat down and started looking over the menus to see what they
were going to eat.

Corey decided he wanted to at least test something. He reached out under
the table and took a hold of Jacob's hand. Jacob immediately looked over at
him and tried to pull away, but Corey only held on tighter.

"Jacob, no one is looking, and no one cares dude. Just relax, please,"
Corey said in a forceful but calming tone.

"But dude..."

"But nothing, I want to enjoy our date," Corey said.

Jacob blushed a bit and tried to avoid eye contact with any of the other
patrons.

"Jacob, just relax, I promise you no one cares," Corey said, still trying
to reassure Jacob.' "Ok," Jacob finally replied quietly as he let Corey
continue to hold his hand under the table.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite freshies," the waiter suddenly said.

"Hey Harrison," Jacob replied quickly.

"Hey Man," Corey said as well.

Harrison was an upperclassman at West Telson High school. He had gotten to
know the two since Corey was on swim team, and Jacob shared a computer
class with him. As a result, the two became Harrison's freshies as was
custom in high school.

"I didn't know you worked here," Jacob said.

"Yea, I got the job two weeks ago," Harrison replied.

"Awesome, do you like it so far?" Corey asked "So far yea. But you two
finally went on a date? Sheesh you two are like me and my ex girlfriend."

"Really?" Jacob asked "Yea, we waited a whole month before we went on our
first official date. Well anyway, glad you two are finally out, most people
suspected it, but no one honestly cares that you guys are gay.

Everyone's just glad the asshole Terry is gone. He was making the rest of
the school look bad,"

Harrison said.

"Yea really, he's in jail now, and he was judged guilty at the trial for
everything," Jacob said, relieved that that whole situation was done.

"Good, well anyway I already know what you two want to drink. Let me guess,
Corey a Coke and Jacob a Pibb right?"

"Actually yes," Corey said, a bit shocked that Harrison knew them that
well.

"Awesome, I'll get that right out for you two," Harrison said as he walked
back to get them their drinks.

"That's cool that he works here," Jacob said.

"Yea he's a pretty cool guy"

"Yea he is," Jacob replied.

Corey looked at Jacob for a moment and could sense that he was much more
relaxed now. He seemed far less tense and didn't seem to be trying to avoid
conversation. He had figured out that the key to making Jacob come out of
his shell was that there needed to be others around to be supportive. As
long as he could have other people there, they were fine, and gradually
Jacob would become more comfortable with being out in public. He figured
that eventually Jacob would be fine with being alone and in public, but
that would just take some time.

"So Jacob I wanted to ask you something," Corey said.

"Ok, shoot."

Corey grinned widely. He held up his right hand, and put his index finger
and middle finger together and pulled his thumb back as if it were the cock
on a gun.

"BANG!" Corey said as he faked a gunshot coming from his hand.

"Hey, no shooting allowed in this restaurant. And please if you're going to
do that, get a room"

Harrison said with a bemused grin.

Both Corey and Jacob blushed a bit but laughed along with Harrison.

"Anyway I'll give you a bit longer to look over the menu. Also, I'm totally
booked right now so I need to run to another table. I'll be back soon,"
Harrison said as he quickly walked to a table at the other side of the
restaurant.

"Ok, so you were going to ask me something, before you shot me," Jacob said
with a bemused smile as well.

"Well Jacob I was wondering, you know about the dance next Friday?" Corey
said.

"Yea," Jacob said, suddenly more nervous as he predicted what Corey was
going to ask.

"Jacob," Corey said as he squeezed Jacob's hand a bit tighter. "I wanted to
ask you to go with me to the dance next Friday as my date."

"Dude...I really want to take things slo..."

"I know I know, but I really wanted to go with you. Plus, we wouldn't be
alone; we'll go in a group with Nick, Cameron, Isaac and their dates. Dude
please, I really promise you no one cares."

"Exactly," Harrison said suddenly. He had been standing next to the table
the whole time.

Both boys were a bit shocked to see him there since neither one had even
noticed him. They had been so engrossed in the conversation that they
hadn't even see him come up to the table to take their order.

"I'll be totally honest. Most people are expecting you two to show up as a
couple, so if you don't, you're probably going to let down a majority of
your freshmen class," Harrison said.

"Wait seriously?" Jacob said in slight disbelief.

"Seriously dude, most of the girls in the freshmen class seem to love you
two. Hell even some of the upper classmen girls won't stop going on about
how cute you two are together. Jacob, just get over it, everyone else
already has. Now can I take the lovely couples order?" Harrison said in a
humorous tone.

Jacob and Corey couldn't help but smile and laugh at the comment.

I can't wait Jacob

Authors Note: So what will happen to Caleb? Will he fall into the
depression? Will drama continue to arise between Martin and Alex, and will
their relationship continue? How about Corey and Martin? Do you think
