Chapter 5----- camping


Jeremy was in the front seat with his dad... trying to find a decent radio

don't see why they play so much of it!"

His dad laughed and all the other guys cheered in agreement.

tent and not single ones?"

Alan popped in and said "cause he is lazy and didn't wanna have to set up
but one tent." Everyone chuckled....

Jeremy smiled and answered...."No sir. I just thought it would be better
for the little kids to be safe sleeping close to us so we could watch out

Alan and Jason both jumped at Jeremy playfully......everyone was in
histerics then.

Jeremy then continued in a more serious tone...."but really it will be
easier having all of our gear in the same place and we can use one side for
the kitchen area in case it rained or something"

"Very good thinking son.....and to help you guys out some, Adam and
Carol(Alex and Alans parents) and your mom and I thought we would help you
guys out a little and made some plans ahead for you for dinner each
night. Plus we can be sure that you would be getting one good meal a day in
addition to the snack food you brought.  So...if you go to the cafe each
night which isn't too far from your camp sight....you can talk to Phillippe
or Allesandro and they will make sure you are all taken care of for the
evening."

Jaremy lightly punched his dad in the shoulder..."thanks dad...that is
gonna be great, but you didn't have to ya know!"

"Sure son, but you and Alex were really nice in inviting your younger
brothers we just wanted you to have more free time than having to fix meals
all the time and all the clean up.  We are just glad you agreed to take
care of the boys..."

Jeremy turned and looked at Alan and Jason in the back seat and snickered a
little, "ohhh we'er gonna take care of then all right...more than you

They drove for hours and the boys all crashed during the ride...as they
came up into the camp grounds Jeremy was the first to wake up.

They older guys laughed and Jeremy's dad spoke....."Sorry boys didn't see
you come up.....this is Allesan----...I mean Alle."

He looked at the younger boys still wiping the sleep out of their eyes. "Hi
guys."

Both boys took turns greeting each other...."Call me Alle"

"Hi I'm Jason or Jas."

Alan butted in and said..."My friends call me Alan, but you may call

like he had been mortally wounded....and everyone laughed and Alle said,

Alle then began showing everyone around the place..it was fabulous as he
went from the game room, through the snack bar area to the pool and
hottub...Alle explained all the rules and times of operation and told them
that since it was pretty much a slow time now they would have full run of
the place and if they needed him, he pointed to his quarters. "My dad owns
the place be me and Phillippe run the place and Dad usually comes by on
week ends and brings supplies..  oh yeah...and after dinner we usully play
games or show a movie in the game hall and you guys are welcome to come
join"

The boys were just elated and very boisterous...Jeremy turned to his dad
and said..."Dad, man you're the best, thanks for all the arrangements you
made for us..it's gonna be fabulous"

All the guys rushed over to him and grouped hugged him...to show their

Alans folks and your mom wanted you to have a camping trip you wont forget

come by when they needed anything and see them at dinner.

They drove over to the site , which wasn't that far from the office area,

Jeremy continued ..."you two should go check out everything and see what we
can do later...check out the beach....we'll get lunch going and be ready in

Phillippe....and there should be lots to keep you busy here.."

He drove off waving goodbys to Alex who was walking back up from the
bathroom.

and they are gonna be here all week and even asked us to come play flisbee

Dinner came and the boys loved everything.....after clearing the table Alle
