Chapter 22                            A new family life

It was just after breakfast when the boys saw the total destruction in
Northern Japan and as the news filtered through each boy was stunned to see
how Mother Nature can do things to this world.

Josh and Kinshi were sitting on the couch together looking at the images
and Craig and Harry were standing next to them.  "I wish mum and dad were
here but I know dad has to stay there and help out." Craig mumbled as he
saw how the sea pushed buildings down and moved cars like they were toys.

"Hey guys can you go and see Walter as he wants to take you out and show
you around Canberra." Walter's dad said.  "Oh we don't have any money or
credit cards." Harry groaned.  "Not a problem Harry, the British embassy
here in Australia has sent you a credit card that was ordered for you and
has given you a hundred dollars for now." The ambassador told him.

"Listen up guys, all of your embassy's have sorted something out during the
night and you will be looked after by us guys until we can get you back to
your parents so relax and enjoy the funds of the U.S government ." Walter
explained.  We all looked at Walter and knew he would look after us and all
knew he was one hell of a friend.  "Skippy, we have found a relative of
yours and they want to know if you want to see them or stay with them." A
staffer said to him.

"Oh that must be my aunt, she's old and could not really look after me, and
so if I could maybe I can stay with the guys for now and wait for my
parents to come back here." Skippy quoted. "It might take some time for
your parents to return as we don't know how long they will be needed over
there." Assistant director of human resources replied.

It looked like a huge staff was going to be needed to look after the boys
while they stayed in the American embassy, first off though Walter was
going to take them shopping and have a day at the markets and other areas
of fun that the boys will enjoy.  "Walter, make sure you all stay together
when you go shopping and Mr Johnson from the secret service will be with
you if any problems arise." Mr Waverly told his son.

"You better behave as Mr Johnson is one hell of a crack shot with his gun."
Walter quoted. "He won't shoot us will he?" Kinshi asked. "Oh no Kinshi, he
is good with kids, he just hates the ones that give him the shits." Walter
giggled as they walked to the waiting limo.  "You guys are going to love
the local malls and later we can go and hang out at the water slide park."
Josh grinned.

"Josh and Kinshi had fun at the Centro plaza so we will go there first and
get you all decked out thanks to the U.S government." Walter hooted.  15
minutes later we arrived at the huge mall and as we walked to the main
doors we noticed two men walk behind us all dressed in black. "Don't worry
about those guys as they are our babysitters." Josh laughed.  "Yeah, they
had to swim with us the last time we were here and we jumped all over them
in the deep pool." Kinshi giggled.

Now inside the boys saw lots of department stores and entered a few of them
looking for clothes that they needed for their extended stay.  "Craig-san,
look at these briefs, these are the ones I like." Kinshi smiled as he held
up a pair of superman briefs and a pair of Spiderman briefs.  "I see, they
will look good on you and yes I bet Superman will his jollies off holding
your wiener in between his hands." Craig gasped.

"Your only jealous cos you can't find the right size to fit you, maybe this
pair will be nice for you." Harry quoted as he held up a pair of purple
dinosaurs prints on the front of the briefs. "Like I could fit in those,
they are more Josh's size." Craig laughed.  After an hour of shopping for
T-shirts, shorts and boxers they continued to buy more clothes like socks
and jocks plus sneakers and gym shoes.  "We need to go and get you some
toiletries as you don't have a toothbrush and body odour spray and Craig
plus Harry will love the new aftershave as its called love potions." Walter
remarked.  As our shopping trolley began to fill we headed to the luggage
department and grabbed some suitcases as the guys will need to put their
new clothes in them when they return home.

"Thanks Walter, we sure appreciate you taking us out shopping and buying us
all these clothes and if there is a way we can show our thanks just ask
us." Skippy said. "Well there is but maybe you are not into this kind of
stuff." Walter gasped.  "Oh and what kind of stuff would that be." Skippy
asked. "Um- well you know that Kinshi and Josh are hooked up and Craig and
Harry are –uh –well partners maybe we can um hook up for some fun
together." Walter giggled.  Skippy's eyes lit up, a boy has just asked him
if he was gay or not and now he might get some special friendship from him.
"He's asking if you fool around with other boys like we do." Josh said.  "I
know Josh, it's just a surprise that's all, oh man this is so cool, and yes
Walter I'm gay." Skippy grinned.

Hoots and yells could be heard from the boys as they walked to the cash
registers and unloaded their carts and waited for the checkout chick to
scan their items. Walter gave her his credit card and signed the receipt as
the other boys placed their goods into the cart and passed it to one of the
secret service men who then took it to the limo and shoved the bags into
the trunk.

Let's go and look inside the candy store as we need to fill up on some
American candy bars for you guys." Walter said.  "Oh this is the store that
has moon pies and peanut butter Hershey bars and all the other great sickly
junk food we all like." Josh panted as he bought a shit load of candy bars
and ate most of them with Kinshi when they were staying in Bali.

"Kinshi, did you remember when Josh almost peed himself when he saw all the
candy in there." Walter asked.  "Yes I do Walter-san; I also remember the
smells he farted when he ate a lot of moon pies." Kinshi replied.  "No, I
think that was the pork chops I ate that one time in the hotel's
restaurant." Josh explained.

"Anyway get your hands ready and fill these plastic bags with whatever you
like as we will have plenty of space in our refrigerator" Walter said as he
took off and filled his bag with all the candy he liked and as the other
boys filled their bags the security guards were also on the hop keeping an
eye on them.  Heck when you let loose a mob of kids in a candy store you
sure can hear the screeching as the boys found their favourite candy bars.
"Skippy, did you see anything you have not tried before." Walter asked him.
"Yeah a few things but it must be fun for these guys to see the candy they
grew up with." Skippy gulped.  "I know how you feel so when we have
finished we can go to another store and get some candy you like." Walter
grinned as he patted Skippy on the butt.

Skippy was happy to hook up with Walter and even though it might be a short
term thing he sure liked Walter and knew he was one hell of a great looking
boy.  "Come on guys, we need to get some Aussie candy for Skippy as I bet
he's not had much back in Japan." Walter explained.  We took off after
paying for our candy and went to a local supermarket looking for Cadbury's
chocolate for Skippy and he found what he liked and we laughed when Skippy
tore into his picnic candy bar.

"Let's go to the water park so we can have some fun, maybe we will see some
cute boys there." Harry cooed. "Harry, you pig, you have a lover and you
want more." Josh squeaked.  "Hey there's no reason you can't look at the
candy and maybe try it out and see if it's good or not." Harry whistled."He
won't be doing anything while I'm around as he loves me and I love him. So
no eye candy for him." Craig said.

We had bought some swim wear so we asked the driver to take us to the water
park and soon we arrived and grabbed our swim suits out of the trunk and
headed to the main gate and payed for our entry and then headed for the
change rooms. Our guards waited outside while we changed, they felt they
didn't want to see us boys nude so we just changed and then went to the
slides and had some fun.

Time flew quickly and Walter soon got a phone call from his dad and told
him to get us home as we were all going out for dinner and we needed to get
ready for the meal.  "Hey guys we have to go soon so let's hit the
showers." Walter shouted to us.  "Harry hurry up mate or you will miss out
on all that eye candy in the locker rooms."Skippy squealed.  Craig's eyes
lit up when he saw some boys his age having fun in the showers and soon
were naked with Harry behind him.  "Hey Harry, they are all like us dude,
and some have whopper foreskins hanging of their wieners. "Craig
beamed. Harry looked at the boys and said to Craig that his wiener was the
only one he cared for.

Josh and Kinshi washed each other's backs and other body parts and soon
were erect and it looked like they were going for it but held back as some
boys were making fun of Kinshi and Josh went to the boys and told them they
better back off or they would get a shock of their lives. "Go for it mate
you and you gook friend are not welcome here." An Aussie boy said.

"Mr Johnson, MR JOHNSON, can you come in here." Walter shouted.  As quick
as a fly on a rotten piece of meat Mr Johnson flew in with his side arm
exposed. "What's wrong Walter?" The secret serviceman asked.  Walter told
what was going on with the older teens and soon the older boys were pissing
themselves as they saw two men in black suits wearing guns.

"You guys better piss off out of here right now or we will arrest you for
pissing off the American ambassador's son's friends." Mr Johnson
shouted. The teens quickly departed the locker room only wearing their
towels and we saw the looks on their faces as they passed us.  "That will
teach them not to piss off visitors to Australia. "Walter giggled as the
men in black walked out and waited for us to dress.

"Wow your guys are fast." Skippy laughed. "Well they get a lot of training
and they love me." Walter explained.  "I bet those guys will never come
back here for a while." Harry said. Josh took hold of Kinshi and hugged him
saying that those guys were just meatheads and they had pissed themselves
when they saw the side arms the guards were wearing. "Ok guys let's go as
we have a trunk load of candy to sort out." Craig said.

The limo brought us back to the embassy dropping us off at the front door,
unloading the trunk and taking our gear to the guest room.  "By the looks
of all your packages I think I credit card must have had a huge work out."
Mr Waverly quoted. "Yeah dad, we sure had fun with it." Walter gleamed."Go
get ready for dinner guys, try and dress nicely." Mr Waverly asked.

It didn't take us long to change into a shirt and long pants as that is all
we had in the nice department, so T-shirts and shorts were out for
tonight's dinner.  The likes of us boys getting dressed in penguin suits as
I call them{tuxedo's} was not on the short list to what to wear.  "Harry
are you finished bro." Craig yelled as he needed to dump a few bars of
chocolate into the toilet and by the sounds of Harry's butt it sounded like
Harry had over done it last night eating a few too many candy bars as well.

 "Shit, where is the air freshener, it stinks like shit in here." Craig
groaned as he held onto his nose and tried to push the offending smell
outside the bathroom.  Craig was given a dirty look as Harry left the
bathroom and soon was dressed in his white shirt and black pants. As Skippy
was about to put his dress shoes on when his phone went off and almost gave
him a shock of his life."Hello, hello, DAD, G, day dad, how are you-how is
mum –is everything alright over there." Skippy yelled.

"Hi son, can you hear me now." "Yes dad its better now." "Look the phone
line might cut out soon so listen up boy, we will be here for a while as
all roads are in a mess and our jet can't land in Tokyo so we will be
seeing you in Canberra, maybe in two or three weeks ok." Skippy's dad
said. "Love you dad." "Love you too son, behave and do what Walter's dad
asks you to do ok." "Yes dad I will, stay safe." Skippy replied as the
phone went dead.

"Oh man, you heard from your dad, are they ok, are they coming over here."
Craig asked."They are ok for now but stuck there as it's a mess and can't
get to the airport." Skippy told the guys.  Tears flew from Skippy's face
and Walter saw this and headed over and gave him a hug and told him that he
would see them soon enough.

Harry and Kinshi were happy for Skippy as it was a good sign that his folks
were safe and well but that didn't help them feel good about their own
parents and wanted to hear from their own parents. Mr Waverly called the
boys to the dining room and asked if they were ready to leave. "Yes sir."
All the boys said together.  Dinner was at a top notch restaurant, The
Peking palace, where food is highly regarded and also expensive.

"Boys enjoy your night here and you can order anything you like, as long as
it's Chinese. " Mrs Waverly said.  The waiter arrived with the wine list
and gave all the boys a menu for tonight's meal. Kinshi looked and saw a
dish he liked and ordered a sweet and sour fish with a mild dipping
sauce. Josh loved sweet and sour pork with fried rice and he also ordered a
few won tons as a side dish. The rest of the boys ordered things like
Peking duck, black bean beef and rice, lemon chicken and some other dishes
that all the boys shared together.

Drinks were served and soon the smell of hot Chinese food filtered towards
the group and tummies were now grumbling as it was a late night for the
boys to eat dinner but it was well worth the wait. Plates of sweet and sour
pork with pineapple were placed on the lazy Susan a small table that could
spin around so everyone could partake in all the food.

 Next Peking duck was placed on the table as was all the other food that we
ordered and smiles could be seen as the last plate arrived and after saying
grace we piled in like it was our last meal.  Mr Waverly coughed and we
stopped acting like kids and waited for the plates of food to pass by us.
Josh and Kinshi smiled as they passed the beef and peanut sauce to one
another and ate it with glee.


  ************Part two*************

                                                            Day dawns on
the loss of life

It was a different story back at the embassy as the staff opened up tinned
food and tried to cook it on the B.B.Q as power was limited as the stand by
generators were out of fuel and it was hard to get gas as the petrol
stations were limiting the amount of fuel to everyone even the embassies
had to wait for fuel.  Craig's and Josh's parents looked tired and worn out
as they had a few days of nonstop phone calls to the states staying in
contact with the president of the United states and making calls to family
members back home telling their families that their son or daughter was
safe and well for now.

Kinshi's parents were missing and as Kinshi felt something the first day of
the quake he knew that he might have lost his parents and would never see
them again.  In days to come it would come true as their bodies were found
under a vehicle that was washed two miles inland.  It was going to be heart
breaking for Mr Waverly to tell Kinshi that his parents had died and that
he may never see their bodies as they looked so badly damaged due to the
tsunami.

It was not looking good for Harry's parents as they were also missing due
to a holiday up north of Tokyo reliving their wedding night and stayed in a
retreat and it was hit so badly by the earth quake their bodies were not
found until rescue workers arrived with sniffer dogs and found them side by
side under a bed.  God help them.  How would the American ambassador in
Canberra deal with a double tragedy and what would Josh's parents do as
they now had two boys with no parents and hardly any other relatives to
take care of them.

A day later Josh was woken up by a load scream as he knew that voice and he
realised that Kinshi was not in his bed but walking around in the next the
room crying and screaming as he was just told about his parents death and
was now muttering something in Japanese and then he collapsed in a pile on
the ground.

I ran to his aid and hugged him and calmed him down asking what happened to
make him so upset and I was told about his parent's fate I too just freaked
out and cried in Japanese and called to our ancestors to make peace with
Kinshi's parents and send our wishes to them.  In another room Harry was
now being told about his parents losing their lives due to the earthquake
and now it was explained to him his parents had been laid to rest as the
hospitals could not hold their bodies for any longer and had to be buried.

It was a nightmare for all the boys and it took most of the night and the
next day to calm the boys down and as it was too much for some boys and
they were given some meds to calm them down as a doctor was called to help
out with any problems that could arise. Josh was looking at his love
brother and could not feel any sadder for him.  He too loved Kinshi's
father and he thought of him as his other dad and now he would never see
him again.

Craig was at a loss and he knew Harry would be too and he held onto him as
Harry cried thinking about never seeing his family ever again.  Walter and
Skippy tried to help out and also hugged and prayed for the boys to help
get over their loss.  The next day Kinshi and Josh asked if they could go
to the Japanese temple near the city so they could pray to their ancestors
and give thanks to Kinshi's parents. Harry asked if he could go to a Church
of England and give his prayers to his parents.

Kinshi, Josh and Walter went to the Japanese temple and found a table with
ribbons and ink; Josh knew how to write love brothers in Japanese and made
two bands, one for Kinshi and one for himself.  Kinshi made a long banner
with his parent's names and the reason for their loss and placed it on the
Japanese memorial for the dead. Lots of Japanese visitors came and bowed to
Kinshi and I and said a small prayer and then moved on as others also gave
Kinshi a prayer for his loss.

I looked at my love brother and said to him he would be now a part of my
family and we would be together forever.  He bowed to me and then hugged me
until he cried out his pain and sorrow and asked the gods to send a message
to his parents and tell them he loves them and asks them to bless our
brotherhood of love.  He prayed for one hour, crying and then praying until
he could no longer move his lips and I grabbed him and took him to a seat
and said that his parents are looking down to him as I too felt his dad
telling me they were now happy with all their ancestors.

Harry had said a prayer to his parents and asked them for a sign as he told
them about Craig being his lover and wished he could have told them face to
face about Craig and the fact that he was gay and wanted them to bless
their relationship. Craig was sitting next to him holding his hand as
Skippy watched on looking at the boys as they told Harry's parents about
their lives. It was a moment for all the boys to come to terms with their
loss and now it was time to return home and sort out a few things.

As the boys finished their prayers Josh's dad was handed a letter from a
staff member as they tried to find a relative for Kinshi and they found a
paper sealed with a Japanese sign. The ambassador could read the markings
and it said "Love Brother's request".  When opened it was a request for
Josh's parents to adopt Kinshi as he was now part of Josh's life and it was
explained in full detail about how the boys became love brothers and how
they went through all the rituals and now are partners and brothers for
life.

It was hardening for Josh's parents to read how their son had joined bodies
with Kinshi and read how they love one another as brothers and it would be
in their best interest to be kept together as a family and be raised in the
states.  The letter was heart warming to Josh's parents as they read how
they met and why they were meant for one another and try not to be upset
with what they did together as this was part of ancients wishes.

Both parents cried as they continued to read the letter and slowly
understood why their son was picked for this special event and held no
remorse for Kinshi or his dad as Kinshi's dad explained that he was a love
brother and so was his dad and so on.  As they closed the letter both
parents said they would adopt Kinshi and Harry if no one was able to look
after them as they also realised that Harry and Craig were gay and lovers
too.  How they were going to tackle this problem was going to take their
time, lots of time as they had to tell the boys they now knew about their
relationships they had for one another and would make sure they would try
and help them through their loss and let them become lovers and best
friends.

End of chapter 22

The final chapters will be better as the boys end up knowing They would be
adopted and find peace together as a huge family.  The next chapter will be
out sometime next week.

I hope you understand why I wrote the story this way as it needed something
to end it peacefully for the boys.
