La lumiere et l'Obscurite Unie / Light and Darkness United - Chapter 4

This story is all fiction. Any similarities of characters and events with
real life is purely coincidental. It will contain scenes of sex and
love-making between the 2 primary teenage boy characters in later chapters,
and if that content disturbs you, you are free to leave at any time. All

Chapter 4


The two boys, shocked by the Marquise' sudden appearance, instantly broke
their embrace and the magical sphere around them disappeared as if it
wasn't even there to begin with.

"You're the Marquise; Andrew's grandfather warned us of you. What do you
want with us, why are we locked up?" Johnathan asked with all the courage
he could muster.

"Dear Johnathan, you two were trespassing on my property. Do you know it is
wrong to venture onto someone else's property without their permission?
That is why the two of are locked up; though there is another reason: you
are bait, bait to lure Vieux. If he realises you are locked up, he'll come
for you and when he does, I'll have him trapped, back to where he belongs,
back so I needn't worry about him."

Off went the Marquise back through the halls, her cackling resounding off
the stone parapets making chills travel up the boys' spines, till they
tingled and shivered. Johnathan went to lean on the bars of the cell, and
after five minutes when they were sure no one was around, Andrew and
Johnathan both decided that they had to try and escape. The took hold of
the bars with each of their hands, and felt their way up them seeing if
they could find a weak spot in the iron, seeing as the bars must've been
very old. Andrew accidentally brushed against one of the bars Johnathan had
previously checked, and felt a heat resonating from it. Wondering if this
was a coincidence, he decided to check the other bars which Jonathan had
checked and found the same thing, the iron on them seemed to have been
heated. He told Johnathan, and they decided on getting Johnathan to place
his hand on a bar and hold it there.  For half an hour they waited, and
when it was over the bar was so hot that it just melted and dropped away
from his hand.

If they continued at this rate, they realised that they'd be there
forever. At that moment, several voices could be heard approaching them.

"You caught them in what! Madame, don't you think it would be wise to rid
ourselves of them? You know of the prophecy, we have to do something."

"Ingenieux there is no need to worry, I have the situation under control,
and how much could they possibly know? They didn't appear to have
acknowledged the sphere, so I doubt there's a threat. And I need them for
Vieux, if I hurt them... well your well aware of the damage he's capable
of, and I'm not strong enough to deal with him at the moment."

"But Madame..."

"No buts! Stop arguing."

Those were the last words the boys heard, and the voices appeared to have
trailed off into the distance. The boys were wondering what sphere the
Marquise was talking about.

"When we fell into our embrace, we must have unlocked something, some
hidden power inside of us. Just think about it Johnathan, you were able to
melt that bar, and we seemed to have made a sphere appear. The lion and
leopard obviously had something to do with us, what other explanation is
there? I know I feel it, I know you feel it, our love has unlocked
something, and now we must use it against the Marquise. Especially before
she captures Grandpa?"

"Ok Andrew, but as far as we know only I have a power, you don't even know
if you also have one. And well how do I work mine? So far all we know is
that I can heat metal so it melts."

"Try concentrating a bit on what you want to happen, then if we're lucky it
might take form. That could be one way how it works."

Johnathan closed his eyes and visualised the bars melting away, he focused
all his thoughts on seeing those bars melt away onto the floor, turning
into liquid. A couple of minutes passed and Johnathan heard Andrew let out
a yelp of joy as he saw the tops turning soft, and bending down, turning
into a sort of liquid. Johnathan, upon hearing it was working, focused
harder, however that was a mistake as he started to get light-headed and
decided to stop. The focusing sucked too much energy out of him, and he was
feeling weak. Andrew lifted him up in his arms and laid him down on the
bed, telling him to rest and giving him a sweet peck on the cheek.

"Well Johnathan, we know your power works but needs fine tuning, and you
have to learn not to push yourself too hard. We can't have you constantly
ending up tired and exhausted. Now just rest." Andrew then laid down next
to Johnathan and took him into his arms, cuddling him close and keeping him
safe and warm while he rested.

*This will be the last chapter to be posted before Christmas week, as I
will be away on Christmas vacation until close to the New Year. Merry
