Billy shined his flashlight around, while reaching out and grabbing onto Andrew's hand. Nothing was happening. Jason and Trevor weren't waking up from bad dreams; no vases were falling off of shelves, no eerie cries and groans. Nothing. Andrew and Billy went into the bathroom. They lit the candles that were in there. Billy shut the door and locked it. Then he put out his flashlight. "What do you have to tell me?" whispered Andrew. "You know those boys we are dreaming about?" "Yeah," "Their names are Doug and Scott Dunstin. They use to live here back in the 30's. But in 1938 they became missing." "Missing?" "Yeah, not a trace was found of them." "What do you think happened to them?" "The Newspaper article said that they ran away. But with what is going on here, I bet they were killed." "Killed? You think? Who would have done it and why?" "I don't know, but we need to figure this out." "Why?" asked Andrew. "I don't know much about ghosts or anything, but maybe these two boys can't rest in eternal peace until the mystery of their deaths is solved." "That's crazy and you're nuts." "I know it sounds crazy, but what else do we got to go on? We know what we saw and heard," said Billy. Andrew was quiet for a minute. "What do we do now?" "We need to go see the guy who gave your dad the generators. He's a Dunstin, so he might know something." "And how are we going to go see him, without no one knowing? Town is too far to walk to." "I don't' know, but we will figure it out." "Billy?" "Yeah," "Will you wake me up every night so we don't dream at 2:37?" "You bet I will," assured Billy. He then stepped closer to Andrew and gave him a reassurance hug and kiss. Andrew kissed him back. "You know, Trevor will do his best to keep me away from you. I haven't told him anything, but he is pretty sure we did something. He's not stupid you know." "I know, but maybe we can come up with a plan to get Trevor out of our hair for a bit. I think if he is out of the way, we can solve this thing quicker together." `Good luck, but it's worth a try." Both boys jumped as the mirror above the sink cracked sharply. The candles flickered and went out. Billy quickly turned on his flash light and shined it at the mirror. There was an image of two boys staring at them. Billy and Andrew jumped again and Andrew pushed his way past Billy. Billy dropped the flash light, but was able to see one of the boys wink at him. Billy quickly picked up the flash light and shined it back at the mirror. The only thing in the mirror this time was his image, obscured by the crack. Billy then left and saw Andrew pacing back and forth in the hall way, muttering to himself that it is nothing but his imagination. "Andrew, you're alright?" "Fuck no!!! I hate this shit!!! I hope when we solve this, it brings an end to all of the creep out shit. I don't know how much I can handle." "Andrew did you recognize the two boys?" "All I know that it wasn't you and me." "I know, but were they the boys in your dream?" Andrew thought for a moment. "Come think about it, no." "I was afraid of that. They weren't Doug and Scott Dunstin staring at us." "Who were they?" "Could question, I wish I had an answer." "Andrew? Billy? You're alright?" asked a sleepy voice. Billy and Andrew jumped again. They turned around and saw Billy's Mom walking down the hall wearing her bathrobe. She was carrying a flashlight. "Yeah, mom, we're cool." "I heard you scream," "Uh, well I had a bad dream and Andrew woke up from my screaming. Then we both had to use the bathroom, so we went together, because after my dream, I didn't want to go by myself. Then we thought we saw a rat or something, but it was just our imagination," lied Billy. "Okay, well you better get back to bed. You want me to tuck you in?" Billy blushed a little bit. "Nah, we're alright. See ya in the morning." Billy and Andrew then disappeared into their bedroom. Janie walked into the bathroom. She decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to relieve herself before going back to bed. After she finished, she looked in the unbroken mirror and then went back to bed. The next morning Billy woke up to a crashing sound and a bunch of screaming. He jolted up and looked at his watch. It was 7:45 in the morning. He looked over and saw Jason sitting up too, as well as Andrew. But Trevor's bed was empty. The three boys ran out in the hall and towards the staircase. Lying at the bottom was Trevor. His legs were twisted every which way, and blood was coming out of his mouth. Bob was standing next to him on his cell phone calling the ambulance. Dan and Brad were kneeling down next to his motionless body, trying to be careful not to cause anymore injury that what has already occurred. Brad stood up and walked up to the step that he had patched the other day. It was still patched and nothing was broken on it. Brad was worried that his patch work wasn't safe and the boy tripped over that. But Brad was happy to find out that his patch work wasn't the cause of the fall. But what was? Andrew looked down and saw a broken piece of mirror lying before him. He picked it up and a point of it was missing. He ran to the bathroom and saw the broken mirror had a piece missing out of it. The piece that was in Andrew's hand. "Ambulance will be here shortly," said Bob hanging up his cell phone. Trevor moaned a bit and opened his eyes just a slit. "Trevor, you hear me?" yelled Dan who was very upset at his son's accident. "Dad?" "What happened, Trevor?" asked Bob. "I stepped on a piece of glass at the top of the stairs and I lost my balance and fell," he then drifted off back to blackness. "Trevor, wake up Trevor!!! Stay with me!!" yelled Bob. Trevor moaned, but didn't move. The ambulance arrived and treated Trevor and then rushed him off to the hospital. Dan, Louise and Janie stayed followed the ambulance in the McDowell's station wagon. "Boys, do you know what happened?" asked Bob. Jason and Billy shook their head. Molly stood behind her brother, wiping the tears from her face. She didn't know what happened either. "I think Trevor stepped on a shard of mirror," said Andrew. "What shard?" "Oh I left it in the bathroom." Brad, Bob, and Andrew went into the bathroom. Andrew looked on the sink and the piece of mirror was gone. He looked up at the mirror itself and it was one piece again. Except for a small triangular piece no bigger then a pinkie toe nail on a child. "Where is it?" asked Bob. "I thought I left it here," was all Andrew could think of saying. How could he explain this? Knowing there was nothing they could do at the Inn for Trevor and Dan, Bob and Brad began setting things up and getting ready for the delivery of the Juvenile delinquents. Jason, Andrew and Billy went back to their bedroom. "Billy did you see that mirror?" asked Andrew. "I know it was broke last night." "I saw you pick up that piece of mirror too," said Jason. "This doesn't make sense," Billy turned white with horror. "Uh Andrew, you don't suppose," "Suppose what?" "Last night we mentioned we wanted to get Trevor out of the way, but didn't know how. That is when the mirror broke and we saw those two boys. One of them winked at me." "What two boys?" asked a confused Jason. "What are you saying? A ghost pushed my brother down the stairs?" "Ghost? Who says anything about ghosts?" asked an even more confused Jason. I don't know if they actually pushed him down or not, but broken mirror had to do something with it." "If my brother dies, I'll kill those little ghostly bastards," said Andrew in fury. "Ah Andrew? How do you kill a ghost?" mocked Jason. The anger in Andrew quickly flew away temporarily as the three boys laughed at what Jason said. Wasn't long after that, the boys got dressed. They heard the bus pull up and they looked out the window. Deputy Kane and Deputy Wilson escorted the boys and girls off the bus. This time the whole lot was there. They stood in four rows of six. Billy saw the boy from the Ice Cream Parlor standing their, a bit nervous looking. Bob and Brad went out and greeted the kids. They watched Bob talk to the kids. He pointed to Brad a few time and to the pile of lumber that was delivered the day prior. Then 20 of the kids followed Brad into the house. He was going to start working on the roof. Since Dan wasn't here, Brad took on the load of extra kids. This should help him get done quicker. Billy noticed that the two boys who were with Bob yesterday were now joined with two other boys. Once of them was the boy from the Ice Cream Parlor, Cody Wilder. The second boy, Billy never saw before. Billy, Jason and Andrew went out in the hallway. They walked to the staircase and saw Bob bringing up the four boys. "Jason, Billy, Andrew, I would like to introduce you to Cody Wilder, Tommy Maxwell, Duane Edwards, and Jason Boomer," said Bob. "Call me Ozone," said Tommy Maxwell. "And you can call him Dizzy." "Hi" said Dizzy with a goofy smile. Billy looked at Jason Boomer. He was somewhere in between average height and tall. He had blondish brown hair with red highlights. His eyes were hazel and his two front teeth were bigger in proportion to the rest of his teeth. Billy noticed that one of his upper front teeth had a small chip in it. He was wearing an oversized baggy Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball jersey. But upon his head, he had a read baseball cap with a white letter "E" on it. Billy also noticed by looking at Jason Boomer's hands, that he chewed his finger nails. "Hi Jason, I'm Jason," said Jason Townshend. "Hi, call me Boomer. Everyone else does." "At least that will keep the confusion level down to a minimum," laughed Bob. "Now that you all met, I thought the 7 of you could continue on where Ozone and Dizzy left off yesterday. Billy looked at Cody Andrew and Jason moaned at the thought of helping the juvies. Cody hung his head low and didn't look up much. Boomer, Ozone and Dizzy seemed to be comfortable together like they knew each other, but Cody was the odd man out. Cody had dirty blonde hair. When he looked up, Billy was surprised to see that Cody's right eye was blue and his left eye was brown. He heard that there were some people like that, but never saw one in person. It's funny he didn't notice it at the ice cream parlor the other day. Cody was pretty much the same height as Billy with the same built. Matter of fact, Cody and Billy could be passed off as brothers. Jason, Andrew and Billy stuck together as they cleaned out the rooms. Ozone, Boomer and Dizzy worked together, talking to themselves about the "rich" kids, and baseball. Cody kept to himself. He wished he was home working on one of his stories. Manual labor wasn't for Cody. He much rather sit in front of his computer and write about far distant lands filled with dragons and knights, or about the space ship under attack by aliens that had five eyes, or about a boy who's best friend is a ghost. That afternoon as the juvenile delinquents were getting on the buss to head back home, Louise called Bob on her cell phone. A big sigh of relief came over Bob. "Andrew!!!" yelled Bob. "Yeah?" "Trevor is going to be alright. He will be in the hospital for a few weeks, but he will live," smiled Bob. Andrew didn't say a word. He was happy that his brother was going to live. There were times when he wanted to kill Trevor, but even with what all Trevor has done to him, they were still brothers. Everyone cleaned up and climbed into Bob's truck. They were headed to the hospital to see Trevor. Since only immediate family members were allowed to see him, Bob dropped Jason and Billy off down town. They gave Billy, Brad's cell phone and said they will pick them up at the Ice Cream Parlor around 8. "So now what?" asked Jason. "I want to go back to the library," said Billy. He quickly walked towards the library, but only to see that it was closed. "Damn it! I wanted to look at more articles." Billy and Jason walked around town. They stopped at the local pizza hang out and had some dinner. They played a few video games and headed outside and down the sidewalk. Billy had shortly got a phone call, saying that his folks were running late and they hope to be in town no later then 9. So Billy and Jason decided to see what was playing at the local movie house. Billy and Jason were walking along the park and a baseball rolled past their feet. Jason picked it up and saw a young boy running towards them. It was Boomer. "Hey," said Boomer. "Here's your ball," said Jason as he tossed it to him. "Thanks," then Boomer started to run back, but stopped and turned towards Billy and Jason. "You two play ball?" "A little," said Jason. "I ain't no good at it," said Billy. "We can use a couple of more players, care to join?" Billy and Jason looked at each other and then followed Boomer to the playing field. They came up to the field by third base. "The other team has 10 players, and we only got 7. You know Dizzy and Ozone. They are pitcher and catcher." Boomer then pointed to the left handed girl on first base. "That is Chris Tuttle. She is an awesome first basement. On Second we have Mindy Parker, watch out for her though; she can be feisty like a cat. Johnny Cooper is short stop. Kyle McCleod is right field and he can use all the help he can get. He ain't no good, but he likes to play and he is a nice kid, so we keep him. Zoe Honeybaker and Jessica Spencer normally play left and center field, but they couldn't come out to play tonight. And if you have done the process of elimination, I play third. Now we have some extra gloves over there, go get them and get out into the field." "What's the hold up?" yelled a boy from the other team. "Relax, Shifty, we got ourselves some real players and they will make you eat shit," yelled back Boomer. Billy realized that everyone on Boomer's team was at the Inn today working their butts off. He looked over at the other team. They were much bigger and older. All of them had to be in high school. Billy remembered seeing all of their faces at the Inn too. Billy quickly did the math in his head. 17 of the 24 kids were their. Billy remembered hearing Zoe Honeybaker's and Jessica Spencer's names at the in, so that was too of the missing. Billy didn't see Cody, so that was three. Then a thought came into his head. He never did know what they all did to get the punishment they got. "Hurry up Rich kid!!!" yelled Ozone to Billy. "Who're you calling rich?" shouted Billy. "You," "I ain't rich." "Stop talking and let's play ball!" yelled another kid from the other team. The two teams played until the sun was completely hidden behind the mountains. There was no umpire and no score was kept. They just played inning after inning. After the sun disappeared, everyone went home, except for Ozone, Boomer, and Dizzy. They walked towards the ice cream parlor. "Are you sure the ice cream parlor is still opened?" asked Billy looking at his watch that said 8:49." "Yeah, in the summer they are opened until 10m" said Boomer. "Can I ask you guys something?" asked Billy. "You want to know what we did that got us in trouble," said Ozone. "Not really. I was just curious why you keep calling us Rick Kids," "Because you folks bought Dunstin Manor. You have to be rich in order to buy something like that." "Actually, we're not rich. My folks got the Inn at a cheep price at an auction. We don't have much money, so we have to fix it up ourselves," said Jason. "Yeah and my parents are both teachers and you know they don't make much money." "But you guys don't live in a trailer though," said Dizzy. "No, but still we still have to work hard to earn money so we can eat and stuff." The little bell on the door rang as they entered the ice cream shop. They headed to the corner and sat in a booth that was big enough for the five of them. "Hi Boomer, Ozone, and Dizzy." "Hi Mrs. Wilder," said Dizzy. "We're not going to get in trouble for being in here, are we?" asked Boomer. "No, you won't. What can I get for you boys?" The five boys gave Mrs. Wilder their orders and she went on her way to make up the sundaes and floats. "Why would you get in trouble for being here?" asked Billy. "That is Cody's mom. I don't know if you noticed or not, but Cody is a loner, a freak. He never socializes with anybody, not even at school. Since we come in here a lot, his folks thought it would be a good idea to get Cody to come out and play with us. They pretty much forced him too. Well, it was the night we got in trouble and Mr. Wilder forbid us to come near his son again." Jason was about to ask what did happen that night when Billy's cell phone rang. Billy answered it and told his folks where he was at. Brad told Billy they should be there in about 30 minutes or so. The five boys then shared stories and jokes as they ate their sundaes and floats. The question on what they did never came back up that night. Billy got up and went to the bathroom. Boomer followed. Billy pulled his dick out and started to pee in the urinal. Boomer stood next to him and did the same. Out of the corner of his eye, Billy could see Boomer looking at his member. He was trying to be discreet about it. When Billy would look towards him, Boomer would stair back at the wall in front of him. Billy shook his dick a few times, flushed and washed his hands. When he came out of the bathroom, he saw Mrs. Wilder hand Molly a small ice cream cone. The boys said their good byes and went home. Boomer walked in to his house. Lying on the floor watching TV, was his two younger brothers. He could here his oldest sister on the phone, and his youngest, but older sister arguing with her to get off that it was her turn. He walked up stairs and saw him mother changing diapers on his baby brother. Boomer went into his room, which he shared with his oldest, yet younger brother. He stripped away his clothes, all but his Harry Potter briefs, and crawled into bed. He reached under his mattress and pulled out a couple of magazines. One of the magazines had pictures of guys and girls having sex. Boomer rubbed his hardening penis under the sheets. Then he flopped the magazine on the bed and picked up the other one. This one had pictures of guys suck and fucking each other. As Boomer fumbled through the pages, his other hand pumped faster and faster. He closed his eyes and imagined Billy. He could see him standing there next to him, shaking his penis at the urinal. So much he wanted to reach out and touch it, but he didn't want to scare Billy off. He didn't even know if Billy was gay, bi, or straight. But Boomer hoped he was bi if not gay. Boomer felt his balls pressing up against his body. His head began to swell and he tightened his butt cheeks as he squirted his white boy seed. He quickly pulled the sheets off, so he wouldn't get them dirty. He then took his hand that had his cum dripping off on it and licked it clean with his tongue. He then pulled his underwear back up and pulled the sheet over him. He then drifted asleep, dreaming about Billy. Billy, Andrew and Jason all laid in their clocks sound asleep. Billy had managed to scrunch on his side and had his left hand under his pillow, away from his ear. The pillow muffled the sound of the alarm. Billy didn't hear it. To Be Continued... I apologize that the sex scene was much in this one. I hope to have a bigger and better one in the next chapter. So please bear with me. I do hope you are enjoying this. I know I am. I would love to hear your comments about this, both good and bad, so email me at bentedcol@aol.com Thanks. -Ben
