I've decided to write this chapter in a different style. I've spent some
time researching other writers work and the ones I found most interesting I
will be using to mimic their style. Enjoy, this one has a rating of PG
[+13].

[End note]

Well now. Should you be reading this? I know my stories are awesome and all
but is it worth going to court? If it's illegal for you to read this kind
of stuff then I urge to look elsewhere. If it's against your religion or
your beliefs then read no further, although.. If your curious and they tell
you it's against your religion then fuck them! It's your life.

[Catch Up]

I flopped myself back down to get a few more minutes of my limbo. Before I
knew it we were in the car and heading off to the hospital, it was still
early and there was no one on the streets. I'd rarely been up at this time
before, exceptions being Christmas and Birthdays. Carol pulled over and
drove into the McDonalds drive thru and order some food. I wasn't really
that hungry but I ate it anyway. My mind was full of confusing thoughts and
the shadow from last night had returned with avengence. Liam placed a
reassuring hand on my shoulder as we drove into the carpark.

~0~0~

I hate the hospital smell, that wreak of antiseptic and baby wipes; it hits
you as soon as you walk through the door. We walked over to the reception
area to get directions to my mums ward, 3 flights and half a mile of
corridors later we found her bed. She was sleeping and I heard Liam let out
a gasp.

Her face was all fucked up, she had a black eye and a busted lip. The nurse
came over to talk to us about what happened. It was only 7:15am so she was
asleep naturally. We were talking to ourselves when she woke with a start.

"Liam?" she asked squinting in my direction.

"Yeah mum, I'm here, are you ok? What's happening? Can you leave? Have you
talked to the police?"

"Whooaa, slow down Liam. I'm fine, just a few cuts and bruises." She
finished as she lent up and put her legs over the side of the bed.

As soon as the blood rushed to her head she started massaging her
temples. Imagine someone who looks very tired with a hangover and you get
the picture.

The nurse came back over to us and told my mum it was ok for her to
leave. She was a strong woman, she was dressed and in the waiting room
within 5 minutes of hearing that she could be discharged; heck, she even
had time to put makeup on and do her hair.

As she stepped through the ward doors Carol handed my mum a coffee and
offered to give her a ride home. She smiled at her and we followed them to
the car. They were having a conversation between themselves. When we
reached home my mum invited Carol in for a coffee to return the favor.

"Sugar!" my mum said as she walked through the door.

It was evident that she'd left the heating on, it was always the small
things that wind her up. She asked me to show Liam my room and took Carol
into the kitchen.

I lead Liam up the stairs but when I turned round to check he was still
being me I caught him staring at my behind. I chuckled and brought him out
of his day-dream. My bedroom was first on the left and you could tell it
was by all the stickers posted on the front of it.

"You've got a sweet bedroom!" Liam bent down and picked up a pair of my
boxers, "Not too clean though.." he finished with a smirk.

"I was gonna' clean it yesterday or, well the day before but I've been
distracted."

"Suppose you've got an excuse. I think your room's bigger than mine." He
finished with a frown.

"How can it be bigger? The houses are all the same.."

"Oh, I suppose. I know what it is, you've not got walls plastered with
posters." Liam summed up.

"Hey, I'm still wearing your clothes from yesterday, mind if I change?" I
asked

He sat himself down on the bed and told me that he's not going to try to
stop me. I took my top off and started rummaging around in some draws. Liam
got up off the bed.

"This would suit you." he said holding up pair of white speedos.

"I bet it would." I joked and went back to looking for something to wear.

I finally decided on wearing a pure white hooded jacket with fur in the
hood and a pair of designer bootcut jeans. For some reason getting changed
infront of Liam didn't seem to bother me, I guess I just felt comfortable
around him. Again whilst lost in my train of thoughts I was needed.

"Boys, can you come down here for a minute?" Carol asked fairly loudly up
the stairs.

We walked into the living room to see my mum with a smile on her face and a
coffee in hand.

"So, I guess our families are going to be close friends. I can't thank you
enough for last night Carol, thankyou." My mum said.

"Never a problem, your son is much better than mine." Carol joked.

"Hey!?" Liam said angrily.

Everyone laughed and Liam lightened up realising it was a joke. Mum said
that we didn't have to go to school as it was already past noon. Carol took
Liam home to get changed and give us some time alone. We said our goodbyes
and shared a hug in the hallway.

"See you soon cutie." He whispered into my ear.

I smiled at him and watched him walk off. My mum was still sat in the same
chair smiling.

"How can you be smiling after all you've been through?!" I asked her.

"Well," she started, took a sip of her coffee and continued. "I'm
fine. I've got my son, he's got a new friend, I lost my Audi but I get a
new car from the insurance and the guy who did this to me is looking at 3-5
years in jail." she finished.

"Oh." I smiled too. "When you look at it like that.."

She got up and made herself another coffee, sometimes I swear she was
addicted to the stuff. She brought in a can of vanilla coke for me from the
fridge and sat back down.

"So.. Tell me about Liam then, you seem to of hit it off."

Perhaps I was nervous and perhaps she could tell but I tried to respond
calmly and in a timely manner. I took a sip of my can to prolong the
questions.

"Well, he's just moved in a few doors down. He goes to my school, he's
funny and we share mutual interests." I replied.

"It's good that you made a friend so close to home, I'm pleased for
you. I've invited Carol and Liam round for dinner later on tonight to
return the favor." she finished with an optomistic smile.

"ok, cool! Can I go round there for a bit and play with Liam?" I asked

"Sure, don't give Carol any hassle ok?"

"Would I ever?" I replied with my grin and jumped up towards the
door. "Hey, you sure you're ok?"

"I'm fine, I've took a knock but apart from that I'm fairly happy. Now
scram before I change my mind" she said laughing.

I left the house with all my problems over, on the scale of things they
were better than ever. In the short walk to his house I'd sumerised
everything and still came out on top.

"Hey Sky!" Liams voice sounded from somewhere. I looked around but couldn't
see where it came from.

A ball of paper hit me on the head followed by "Oi, prick!". I looked up to
see Liam grinning at me from his bedroom window, followed by Carol shouting
"Don't you swear in my house!". My rib cage was going to explode with
laughter.

Liam opened the front door and ran out to me.

"Laugh it up funny boy." he said with a serious look on his face.

"I'm sorry mate, I find punishment amusing when it isn't happening to me."

Liam gave a shake of the head and a shrug of the shoulders and asked me if
I wanted to come inside. We went to the kitchen and grabbed a drink. Carol
was in the living room typing furiously on her laptop.

"What time has your mum got dinner planned Skyler?" she asked

I was trying to wrack my brain to see if she'd actually told me a time.

"I'm not sure if she told me, we usually eat around six-ish" I told her.

"OK, I'll go round a check in a bit." Carol finished.

Liam led me up to his room, for some reason neither of us had anything to
say. That is until Liam broke the silence.

"You want a smoke Sky?" Liam asked, perhaps trying to rekindle what
happened last night.

"Would I ever say 'no' to you?" I replied with a grin.

He lit up and I sat opposite him with my knees inbeteen his. Liam took a
deep toke and leant over to me. Kissing me deeply he blew the smoke into me
like an expert.

"That's alot sweeter than when you smoke it normally." I commented.

Liam tried to laugh but instead started coughing. He burried his head into
my shoulder and tried to recompose himself. He looked at me, I mean really
looked at me. His head on my shoulder and our eyes meeting. I went cross
eyed and looked away.

"What the heck was that?" Liam said laughing

"Oh, if I focus in on something too close it hurts my eyes and I have to
look away."

"That's not too bad, I have webbed feet."

"What?!" I asked

Liam laughed even harder now and passed me the joint.

"I'm joking babe, they're not really webbed." Liam replied trying his best
to keep his voice down.

"Babe?" I asked him

"Well, yeah. I am going to try some pet names out on you."

"Can't we just stick to Sky? I'll have to start calling you honey."

"Honey.." He looked to the ceiling and raised his eyebrows. "Yeah, sounds
good babe." Liam finished laughing.

I threw the dying end of the joint out the window and jumped onto his lap
forcing the computer chair to skeet back an inch or two.

"OK, honey."

I lowered my head towards his and we kissed slowly and with meaning. He
shifted uncomfortably in his seat, I could tell by the way I was sat that
he was enjoying the session. Whenever I was with Liam I felt that nothing
else mattered. He nibbled on my lip, letting his hand trail down my body
and ever closer towards my crotch.

So, we're slowly reaching sexual parts and things are pretty much back to
normal. I've not had many comments about the come back so far so keep them
coming. Send them to liamskyler69@googlemail.com and I'll respond fo'
sho'. D:

I've been listening to the radio today whilst writing this one. Also, the
format has changed. If you can, try to compare chapter 6 & chapter 7 and
tell me which one you prefer and why. It'd help me alot if I can find a
writing style that I'm comfortable with and is easier reading for you lot.
