Subject: Love in the Orthodontists Room ..Tony gets braced...

Tony wasn't his usual self as we walked to the Ortho's appointment though
he was so quiet sometimes it was a guessing game trying to figure him
out.He walked like a man going to the electric chair head hung down walking
at snail's pace.

"You are going to get them you know Tony whether it takes you half an hour
to walk there or half a day!"Somehow I had to awaken him to the reality.

"I don't want braces and I don't want head gear let him put them in someone
elses mouth let them screw up their lives!"

"There's nothing you can change it hey do you know some guys actually
prefer boys that have braces?" Kerry chimed in.

"You notice how that young cutie Craig wanted braces he asked what it was
like and how he went about it ..now you can tell him ..who knows eh !"

'You could be in with a chance there Tony, eh Craig's not ugly eh and I
sure like the way he fills out that speedo he was wearing the other day! "
Tony went bright red , he had noticed Craig as well by the pool and I guess
he had noticed more than he let on.

We arrived at the Ortho's office early with just enough time to report in
and do some boy watching Kerry and I always had time to watch the
procession of boys with their wirework glistening as though they had
especially cleaned and put brasso on their braces so it shone to present
for the Ortho gleaming as though new and shiny.Kerry and I just cleaned our
teeth no need to be pretentious about it..Tony was called and walked in but
before he entered the Treatment Room he paused and looked at me as if to
say "Wish me luck .I may not return"as if he was going on some dangerous
mission.

I shouldn't have been so mean I guess but I looked at Kerry and he seemed
to agree with me.just go and do it ! Kerry had his appointment after Tony
and caught a glimpse of him coming out er leaving the Treatment Room..his
mouth jammed shut he was trying not to open it at all and reveal to the
world he was now braced up not yet with head gear but he had a silver smile
for sure and would do for many months to come...he had full bands a bit
unusual for treatment but he had a bad overbite which was a sitter for
bands and full head gear..wait until he got that!

I didn't say anything to him except "That has got to be the cutest braced
look I have ever seen !"That didn't get any reply at all he was determined
to pretend he cold keep his mouth closed forever !

My appointment was a brief a fair with the Ortho reading me the riot act
and telling me what will happen if I don't comply with his head gear
wearing schedule..Kerry narrowly missed having his head gear wired in so
Kerry and I vowed we had to be more carefull.and to try and tickle Tony
until he showed us what he looked like with his braces all set.

On the way back to school we stopped at our normal place and did our usual
relaxation exercises which Tony took part in very reluctantly..but took
part yes he did for sure...Read the next installment to see what happens
when Craig notices Tony in swimming with his braces now a part of
