Rainbow Mountain Chapter 2

I stared at the sign for a few moments before driving on up the
mountain. When I reached the tip top I was totally shocked. There was an
entire town up here called Rainbow Mountain Community.

Adam began to point out different businesses to me. He pointed out the
Rainbow Mountain Community Bank, Pot of Gold Grocery, Rainbow Mountain Post
Office and the Rainbow Mountain Fire Department just to name the ones we
saw until coming to Orange Blossom Road.

I turned left onto Orange Blossom Road and began to look for the address
that was wrote on the card that Betty gave me.

The boys and I counted four beautiful houses before coming to the end of
the road where we got our first look at my new home. After I parked the
Hummer I sat there staring at the most breath taking house I've ever seen.

Before getting out of the Hummer Adam and I searched through the key rings
until we found the set for this house. Keys in hand we got out of the
Hummer and headed for the front door. As I unlocked the door I said, "Well
boys, let's check out my new home."

Once inside the boys and I decided to begin our tour on the third floor,
and work our way down. We found two master Bedroom suites, a large office
and a huge audible library with a computer that is hooked up to a sound

The Second floor contained six more bedrooms each with their own bathroom,

I told him if it was up to me, I would promote Tony and let him hire

minutes. I found out that Fred and I were neighbors. He lived in the house

dependable vehicle especially during the winter months and I have the

Navigator.

When everyone was buckled up we were off to the Hummer dealership where the
Wong's ordered my Hummer. When we arrived, I went in to talk to
Mr. Stockton and when I explained to him what I wanted he was more than
willing to help us.

When Mr. Stockton and I came out he began to show Betty and Sheila the
Hummer 3's he had on the lot. It was obvious that Adam and Wesley would
play a big part in which one Betty and Sheila got. Finally Adam picked out
the candy apple red one and Wesley picked out the cobalt blue one. They
were fully loaded with all the extras money could buy. Mr. Stockton gave me
a great deal on the Hummers so I wrote him a check, and when the paper work
was completed we headed for lunch.

After Lunch we headed back to Betty's house and I began to make a few phone
calls. After my phone calls I asked Betty and Sheila to go through the
house and make a list for each room of what they wanted moved to their new
houses.

I explained to them that the houses I was offering them were fully
furnished and just needed to put things on the list they wanted to keep. I
told them some friends of mine would have all of their belongings moved to
the new house by the time we returned from our trip. Once both lists were
completed we placed them on the kitchen table. Then we grabbed their
clothes, laptops and all the food in their refrigerators and pantries
before heading to their new homes.

We stopped at the first house on the right side of Orange Blossom Road and
I gave Sheila the keys to her new fully furnished home. Then we headed on
up until we came to Betty's new home and when I handed her the keys to her
home she began to cry.

Fred took me on home and when we got there he said, "Buck, I need to go
pack for our trip, but I'll be back ASAP if that's ok?"

"Oh Fred, that is more than ok, I need to pack as well." I just stood there
watching him as he turned around and drove back down the road toward his
house. When I couldn't see him anymore I went inside and started packing
for the trip tomorrow.

When I finished packing, I called Fred, Betty and Sheila and invited them
out for dinner at the Rainbow Mountain Diner.  While at the restaurant I
explained to everyone we would be going to Florida first, then off to
Montana, and then to Wyoming before coming back to Denver.

Then Fred began to explain about all of the aircraft at my disposal twenty
four hours a day seven days a week. I found out I owned 4 helicopters, 3
Lear jets and 2 of the 787 Boeing Dreamliners. I also own several small
airplanes as well.

Then Fred told us he had made arrangements to have one of the Lear jets
fueled up and ready for us in the morning and we would be leaving my house
no later than six thirty sharp. When everyone agreed to meet at my house,
we all left the restaurant excited about our three week vacation.

When Fred and I got back to my house he asked me to follow him to my
backyard because he wanted to show me something. When we got to the
backyard he uncovered a beautiful eight passenger helicopter. It was multi
colored and it had Rainbow Enterprises wrote on the sides. Then Fred
informed me he would be the one flying us to the airport in this beautiful
helicopter. Oh man, I can't wait to see the look on Adam's and Wesley's
faces when they find out how we are getting to the airport.

Fred and I covered the helicopter back up and went inside. Once inside the
house, Fred took me into the master bedroom, flipped a small switch on the
headboard of my bed and one entire wall slid back revealing the door to the
biggest safe I've ever seen.

When Fred gave me the combination I had it open in less than a minute and I
saw stacks and stacks of money. There was money from every country just
ready to be used. Then Fred opened a few drawers up to show me diamonds,
rubies and sapphires of all shapes and sizes that the Wong's had collected
from all over the world.

Fred took me into his arms, gave me a gentle kiss before saying, "Now Buck,
do you realize why you don't have to work? You have more money than most
people can even dream about. The Wong's want you to have fun, travel and
enjoy life. Now let's go to bed and have some fun."
