Subject: Sander Prologue

SANDER

Before you start reading, I should tell you about how this story came to
be. Actually, 'Sander' isn't a new story. Some years ago I started a story
with the same title and I managed to write about 20 chapters of it, until I
sorta lost track of what was happening. Also, it was becoming a bit too
'nifty' for my taste. I never really had a knack for writing out the juicy
parts of a story and I more and more wanted the story to be realistic. So,
I eventually caved in and abandoned it altogether.

Until a few weeks ago, when someone reacted to the story, asking if he
could finish it. I declined the offer, because I still knew how 'Sander'
would end and I'm pretty sure no one else could steer the tale in that
direction. But since that request, I've been thinking about 'Sander' again.
Since I don't really know where the story was at when I left it, I decided
rewriting it was the best option. So here I am, trying to recreate the
story, hopefully with just as many people enjoying it as the previous
version.

I do have a few additional warnings for the people who have read 'Sander'
when I first wrote it. Even though the characters will be pretty much the
same and the idea of the initial story are comparable, there will be some
changes as well. Some parts of the story will be recognizable while others
will be different. The big change is the level and the amount of sex in the
story. There will practically none of that in it. This might be
disappointing to some, but maybe others might prefer it that way. The main
reason for the change is that I don't always feel okay with writing about
sex, and as I stated before, I'm not really good at it.

Anyway, I hope the story will still get its readers and I definitely plan
to finish it, this time around. Be patient, though, and do send me an
e-mail if you like it or not.
