Subject: Search for Conscience, Chapter 16

The rest of the afternoon was spent taking turns on the XBOX after lunch,
and fooling around with each other. The twins' parents lingered for a few
hours after they enjoyed a sumptuous lunch, and the four peers continued
their lazy afternoon. Cody noticed that Seth would not take his eyes off
Sebastian, albeit for only a few seconds; he glanced numerously at his twin
as if to verify his existence in the physical world. Sean observed his
curiosity and brought to his knowledge that Seth always looked over his
back for Sebastian.

"Makes him secure, although I don't see the reason. He knows when
Sebastian's in trouble, so why look round? Happens every time Sebastian's
hurt, or sad." He whispered, yet again eyeing the twins, as both of them
took their turns on the XBOX. Seth was cuddling up to Sebastian, nuzzling
his head under Sebastian's arm and sighing.

Cody nodded.

It was approximately six o'clock at that time, and Cody was expecting
dinner. The call duly came, and Regina called for them from the kitchen, he
assumed, her voice echoing through the concrete hallway. Cody was up and
going in a matter of seconds, succumbing to his stomach's pleas for
intake. He hurried downstairs, the trio tailing him closely. Dinner was
already set out on the table; a delicious blend of curry and mash potatoes,
a meatloaf steaming in the middle of the table.

"Have a seat, boys. I'm bringing the soup. If you could just wait a
moment." Regina's silky tone emanated from the kitchen. Cody took his
familiar place at the rectangular table and watched as Sean eased himself
into the chair adjacent to his. Sean was seated at the head of the
table. The threw themselves on to the wooden dining chairs beside him, and
began bickering amongst themselves, main topic of argument being who could
eat the most mashed potatoes in one mouthful. They began taunting each
other after a few seconds, and Cody could see Seth visibly becoming
increasingly annoyed as every comment of his was rebutted by the
quick-thinking Sebastian.

Finally, Seth gave up, and depressed the skin beside Sebastian's neck. Of
course, his brother began moaning in pain as the pressure points were
agitated. He turned to Sean, who was watching the scenario with a bemused
expression on his face.

"Hey, Sean, don't you have a computer? I've seen your XBOX, but so far, I
haven't had a glimpse of a computer, if you've got one."

"Yes I do, actually. It's a laptop, mind you, so that means I keep stashed
in the drawer of that computer desk that's in my room. I'm surprised,
Cody. For such an observant person, I would have thought that the mere
sight of the desk was enough to bring about your awareness of a computer,
if not, miniscule in size."

"Oh." Was all Cody could manage.

John entered the dining room as Regina tottered in from the kitchen,
singing out "Hot soup, hot soup," as she stumbled towards the table and
managed to place the soup bowl on the large cork coaster that was situated
there for its purpose, without spilling a drop.

John raised an eyebrow and sat at the opposite head of the table. The twins
bubbled with delight as Regina doled out generous helpings on their plates,
thanking her for them. John supplemented the effort by filling in their
soup bowls with the rich tomato soup that was slowly evaporating in the
large porcelain bowl.

Cody suddenly spotted both sitting unusually straight, with a long
expression on their faces, closed eyes. Their hands were in a touch-palm
position, and they muttered words under their breath. "Grace" sprang
through his mind, compelling him to respect the religion, and lower his
head. Sean watched owlishly from his seat, knife and fork poised above his
meal.

"Sean." Regina said softly, which more than sufficed to allow Sean to
realise the uncouthness of his action.

"Oops" he muttered, sitting straight, with fingers interlocked.

The twins finished relatively quickly, and without warning, dug into the
food simultaneously. Regina watched with an incredulous expression, and
demurely picked at her food, while John smiled slightly and attacked his
food almost as viciously as the four youths.

It was over; Cody decimated his meal as if he was devoid of food for the
past two days, famished. He received seconds and even managed a third plate
of meatloaf and mashed potatoes. He leant back, and massaged his bulging
abdomen. Regina suddenly glanced over at him.

"Oh, Cody, you can go. Over here, you don't have to wait until everyone has
finished. Go on, get a head start in packing your bags for tomorrow. It's
going to be a big day." She smiled at him.

Cody relented, and eased himself out of the chair, padding over the shiny
wooden floor. Remembering to thank Regina and John for the wonderful
dinner, he made his way upstairs to Sean's room, and wondered where to
start. He had no idea of what to expect in the new school, but he did know
the syllabus of every British school, which is the same everywhere. He sat
on the edge of the bed beside the window, and unpacked his bags. His school
uniform, which he had used on Friday, was still in passable condition, so
he fished it up from the wooden floor and hung it on the end of his bed
using a clothes hanger he had spotted behind the door on his way in. He
began arranging and organising every single detail of his wear. Shirts
here, trousers there, underpants there, jacket here. In fifteen minutes, he
stepped back and admired his handiwork.

Everything was sorted out into its own respective category, but Cody did
not know exactly where to place them. Sean's room had the necessary
facilities for placement of clothes, toys, whatsoever, but Cody did not
particularly want to overstay his welcome and make use of them. Foolish
thinking on his part, he knew. Sean had once and again informed him of his
place in the family. However, he simply left his clothes as he arranged
them: on the bed beside the window.

Fatigue suddenly pulled at his consciousness, and he made his way up the
all-too-familiar ladder to the first storey of the double-decker bed, where
he lay atop the sheets, massaging his full stomach, eyes closed. After what
seemed like an eternity, he heard the familiar thudding of Sean's robust
footsteps up the wooden staircase and along the polished floor, accompanied
by the twins' gentle padding. The taste of the delicious meatloaf, mashed
potatoes, and sumptuous syrup that accompanied it, burned in the back of
his throat, and he burped softly.

It appeared that the twins' parents had stayed for a very short period
after John had returned with the groceries and food. They had left the
twins' clothing hung on the bathroom door; something that Cody had not
noticed for the entire afternoon. Whatever thoughts that had formed in his
brain were interrupted as the boys shuffled into the room, yawning and
stretching. As usual, the sound of static electricity crackled as shirts
were pulled over heads, cotton rubbing against hair.

"Cody?" Sean's voice echoed through the room.

He managed a soft "Hmm?"

"Do you want to have a go at the XBOX?" was the next query.

"Nah, I want to go to bed. You go ahead." The words took a great deal of
effort to spit out, as he fought the incoming waves of slumber. A slight
shaking of the double-decker told him that the twins had already settled
down below him.

Sean sighed, and made his way over to the light switch, flipping it off and
engulfing the room in sudden darkness. He padded across the floor, bare
feet slapping the wooden boards, and climbed up the bed to a now motionless
Cody.

The reclining boy sighed, breath coming out in a short burst, as he
prepared to journey into slumber. He scuffled about, trying to get under
the covers, not realising that he was indeed lying atop them. Sean came to
the rescue, gently nudging him to one side and disengaging the sheets. Cody
was too worn out to react to anything at all, and simply grunted, while
yielding to the gentle push.

After a few moments, Sean drew him into the sheets, and pulled them over
his head, engulfing both of them in the warm interior. Sean's breaths were
all-too audible in the silence of the night. Beneath them, the twins
giggled softly amongst themselves. He turned and lay face-up on the down
pillow that his head rested on, placing both hands behind his head. He lay
there, slowly dozing off.

After a few moments, a hand snaked over beneath the sheets and touched his
torso. He shifted a little, allowing the boy's hand easy access. He
realised that he still had his jacket and shirt on, and that they were
becoming a little too uncomfortable for his liking.

"Seannn..." he groaned.

"Take my shirt off, pleeease. I'm soo tired."

He closed his eyes and waited as Sean struggled to push himself up into a
sitting position. He felt his jacket being pulled over his head and
obliged, lifting his hands above his head. He remained in that position as
Sean pulled off his t-shirt as well, and flung it over the side of the
bed. He began to feel the chill of the cold night air, and detected goose
bumps forming all over his torso and limbs. He shuddered, shaking the bed
slightly. Sean settled down quickly and once again pulled the covers over
both of them.

He again resumed the former position, once again ready to drop
off. However, Sean's cold hands brought slight jolts of discomfort, as he
jerked and squirmed slightly with every caress. He enjoyed it immensely,
however.

"Mmh..." he cried softly, as Sean's fingers tweaked both of his nipples,
involuntarily jerking with the motion. He relaxed, trying to fall asleep,
as occasional jolts of pleasure were sent to his brain by Sean.

"God, that feel's so good." He murmured, as Sean continued to run fingers
across his chest and rub his stomach gently.

And there, he fell asleep, amidst a newfound friend and brother.

Something swatted his face.

He slowly opened his eyes. The slight light outside translated to him that
it was at least three o clock in the morning. But what had woken him up? He
cast his adjusting eyes over the bed, trying to ascertain the source. He
was snuggled up to Sean, not remembering how and why he did. His head
rested directly below Sean's chin, cheek facing the sheets. Sean had his
arms around him, and was snoring slightly. However, another hand rested on
his chin, knuckles pressing into the flesh.

Something moved.

He started slightly, before recognising and identifying the tuft of blonde
hair, close to his waist, that was half-covered by the blanket. A lump in
front of him stirred, and shifted, before sighing and turning over
again. It turned out to be Sebastian shifting onto his side, revealing his
bruised torso to Cody. Again, waves of sympathy and pity crashed upon
Cody's mind, and he reached out to touch the afflicted areas.

Sebastian moaned softly, slightly thrusting his torso forward and exposing
his ribs. The tuft of blonde hair moved ever so slightly, and removed the
blanket, revealing Seth's serene slumbering face. Mouth slightly open, Seth
was lying on his back, left hand tucked under his head, right hand resting
on his chest. He appeared to have dealt a kick to the covers that warranted
sufficient energy to lift it up and over his head. The cold air blew over
the four friends, and Seth shivered uncomfortably. Sebastian mumbled
incoherent words as he shifted closer to Cody.

The other trio were not as affected as the blonde twin. They were entwined
with each other so closely that their body warmth was more than enough to
sustain the gust of cold air. Subconsciously, Seth turned over onto his
abdomen, and pushed himself up with his legs, nuzzling up against the small
of Sebastian's back as his final destination. He sighed softly, and placed
an arm across his brother's torso. Sebastian evidently had plans of his
own, as he pushed his torso closer to Cody, apparently longing for more
attention. Cody complied, and petted the nearly white torso bared a few
inches from his face. Sebastian exhaled, falling back into a state of
relaxation. And so did Cody, once again dropping off into oblivion.

He was rudely awakened by an entity knocking the wind out of him, as
someone jumped upon his stomach, causing his breath to come out in a
"Hurghhh..". He groaned, and tried to get back to sleep again, shielding
his eyes from the sudden sunlight that filled the room with his arm.

"It's eight o clock in the morning. Wake up!!" Seth's voice blared,
vibrating his eardrums somewhat violently.

"Mmph." He grunted, using both arms to cover his eyes. He felt himself
being prodded, and while being moderately ticklish, he did not at all feel
inclined to arise.

"Hey, Cody... have you ever heard of something called a titty-twister?"
Seth's voice took on a menacing tone, while the giggles of Sebastian and
Sean were audible.

He was uninformed of the term, of course. However, he was determined not to
be on the receiving end of it, and slowly made to rise. He was pinned down
suddenly as a soft weight depressed his legs. His arms were pulled up above
his head and pinned in similar fashion. The sunlight dazzled his eyes for a
few moments before he realised that Sebastian and Sean had pinned him in a
submissive manoeuvre, rendering him unable to counter-attack or free
himself. Seth sat upon his torso, face contorted in a manic grin.

Seth reached out with both hands, fingers curled not unlike someone holding
a pinch of salt. Cody watched with bated breath as Seth tantalisingly
draped his fingers over his nipples, teasing the large areola.

"Oh no, please... no..." he begged, unable to take his eyes off Seth's
fingers.

"Too late." Seth replied, with a grin, and twisted Cody's nipples robustly,
bring mixed sensations of pain and pleasure.

"Aaaaah...! No!" Cody screeched, trying desperately to free himself, to no
avail. Seth giggled, and began kneading the red blips repeatedly, pressing
down hard. This drove Cody almost delirious with pain and ecstasy.

"Oh, god... pleeeeeeeeeaase! Aaaahh!!" he yelled pitifully, closing his
eyes. Seth suddenly started tickling him, and he bucked and squirmed with
the effect, bringing the three boys perched atop him into a muddle of arms
and legs.

Seth was still tickling him, albeit with a much slower pace.

"Oh jesus..." he moaned, exhausted.

"Becoming religious now, are you?" taunted Sean, amidst giggles.

More chatter was cut off as a John entered the room in a white dressing
gown, with unshaven face and sleepy eyes.

"Time to get up, boys." He mumbled. "Oh, right then." He continued, after
seeing four of them peering coyly at him from the top bunk.

"Well, take your showers. You need to be in school by half-past eight, and
it's a quarter to. Knowing all of you, you'll need at least twenty minutes
to shower. Lucky we have a bathtub and a shower." He walked out of the
room, lightly shutting the door.

The youths lay there for half a minute.

"Do you suppose we should get a move on now?" Cody asked.

Without answering, the rest of the boys climbed down from the bed and made
their way to the bathroom, huddled close to each other, Cody in their wake.

"Shower or tub, Cody?" Sean asked.

"Shower, please. I'll fall asleep in the tub."

"Okay. If you would kindly step in then, sir." Sean responded with a mock
accent.

Cody shrugged, and walked past Sean into the octagonal shower area. Without
ado, he stripped off his trousers, along with his boxers, and flung them
outside. Sean stepped in after him. Meanwhile, the twins were lazing in the
tub with eyes half-closed, awaiting the rise of the water. Steam enveloped
the entire bathroom, and Cody was considerably relieved, as his nakedness
would not be revealed to the twins, especially Seth.

Sean turned the faucet, and Cody, being in the line of fire, received a
shower of freezing water as the hot water took its time up the pipe. He
screamed and instinctively held on to Sean. And there he stood shivering,
until the water finally reached the optimum temperature.

He reached out and grabbed an unmarked bottle of shampoo, the only one
which was there, and began to work his hair into a lather. He was duly
surprised when a pair of hands suddenly kneaded his head, fingernails
scratching the scalp beneath the blonde strands.

"Do mine as well, Cody." He heard Sean say. He obliged, squeezing a wad of
shampoo onto his hand and awkwardly scrubbing Sean's brown hair. He sighed
with relaxation, as Sean's fingers worked wonders with his scalp. He leant
back against the translucent glass, while absent-mindedly running his
fingers through Sean's hair. Sean chuckled a little, and they finished the
shower with little events.

When they eventually stepped out of the shower room swathed in towels, the
twins were already in black trousers, and styling up each other's hair,
albeit still shirtless.

"What were you doing in there? Making out?" Seth taunted.

"Oh, be quiet. We were enjoying the shower, unlike you. You must have had a
quickie or something." Sean retaliated.

"Hmph. Well, get changed, then. You're late." Seth retorted. He shifted his
attention to the bruises on Sebastian's body, and gently touched the bruise
over Sebastian's midriff. Sebastian winced slightly, goose bumps prickling
all over the afflicted area, and held on to Seth's shoulders for support.

Sean scuttled out of the bathroom and reappeared a few seconds later with
two uniforms; his and Cody's. He hung Cody's uniform behind the door, while
donning his underwear under his towel, to avoid uncouth comments especially
from Seth. Cody followed suit, and was soon dressed fully. They were now
set for school.
