SHIPWRECKED - CHAPTER 7

>From Last Time...

Alex thought to himself, "What the fuck is happening? I'm not
gay, but I can't keep my eyes off that boy. Why is my dick
getting hard looking at him?" Alex tried not to look at Timmy,
but his eyes kept going back to the boy.

After a short time, Timmy had caught six fish. He and Alex
went back to their shelter where they cleaned the fish and
cooked them on the fire that Josh had prepared.

They were eating and talking about their backgrounds. Before
long, the sun had set and the boys decided it was time for
bed. They retired to the hut. Alex laid down on one side of
the hut. Timmy waited for Josh to take his normal place and
then, much to Josh's disappointment, went to another area of
the hut to lay down himself.

Josh was wondering why Timmy didn't spoon up behind him like
usual. Meanwhile, Timmy was thinking about his feelings for
the younger boy and decided he needed to sort things out.

The boys eventually drifted off to sleep.

Alex awoke the next morning before the others. He looked at
Josh sleeping noticing how peaceful he appeared. His eyes
moved over to look at Timmy. Alex was wrestling with his own
feelings. He wondered, "Why can't I just ignore him? What is
it about him, about me, that has me so fascinated?"

As Alex was looking at Timmy, Timmy opened his eyes. For a
moment, the two boys just stared at each other. Alex became
uncomfortable and averted his eyes. Timmy got an uneasy
feeling. To himself, he decided to be careful around Alex.

About this time, Josh woke up. The other two just acted like
nothing had transpired in the previous moments. Alex got up
and as he was leaving the hut, told the other two he was going
to go take a piss.

After Alex had left, Josh turned to Timmy and said, "You know,
he likes you, don't you?"

"He gives me the creeps." Replied Timmy. "How do you know he
likes me?"

"I don't know, I just get a feeling when he looks at you.
It's like the feeling I get when you look at me. Timmy, do
you like me?"

Timmy was taken aback by Josh's question. He hesitated,
trying to decide what to say. Finally, he made up his mind.
Hesitantly, and quite embarrassed, Timmy almost too quiet to
be heard said to Josh, "I more than like you, Josh. I think I
love you."

Timmy's statement hit Josh on two levels. First, he was happy
to hear exactly what he had wanted to hear. Second, it made
him realize that he had the same feelings for Timmy. Josh had
heard about boys who liked other boys, and what he had heard
wasn't very pleasant. He further realized that it really
didn't matter what other people said or thought. He knew what
he was feeling.

Josh's Grandfather had told him once that he should always be
true to his feelings -- that what felt right, could only be
right. It didn't matter what others would think. If what he
felt was good, and it didn't hurt anyone else, then it just
didn't matter.

Josh stood up and walked over to Timmy. He sat beside him,
looking into his eyes. The boys leaned into each other and
shared a very tender kiss. Just as the boys lips connected,
Alex entered the hut.

"What the fuck are you two doing?"

Timmy and Josh pulled away from each other. The three just
stared at each other, nobody saying anything. Alex had a look
on his face that was pure disgust. He turned and stormed out
of the hut.

Timmy got up to go after him and Josh grabbed his hand.

"I think it would be better if I went." Josh stated. Josh got
up and left the hut, looking for Alex.

He found Alex down by the lagoon. He was just standing there,
staring out to sea. He slowly approached Alex saying, "About
what you saw..."

Alex cut him off, "What I saw was two fags making out. I'm
not a fag. If either of you try to touch me, I'll kill you!"

"What you saw, was two guys who care about each other showing
that. I really don't know if I am a 'fag' as you call it, or
what. All I know is that Timmy and I care about each other.
I know what guys say about people who are gay, that they are
bad. Some people don't feel that 'those people' deserve to
live. I was taught that what seems right, usually is. This
seems right for us. It may not be for you, but it is for us."

Alex looked at the boy. His inner turmoil stemmed from the
fact that he wasn't upset with what he saw. He felt something
different. As he was standing there before Josh arrived, he
was trying to sort out exactly what he felt. Hearing Josh say
what he did helped him to realize what he was feeling. He was
jealous.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I just didn't know what to think when I saw
you two. I guess it was just that it startled me, and I had
to get away from it." Alex looked at Josh saying, "I think we
need to talk about this. All of us."

With that they walked together back to the hut. They arrived
to see Timmy with tears running down his cheeks. Josh
immediately, quickly, moved over to Timmy, wrapping his arms
around him.

Alex sat down in the same place he had slept the night before
not saying anything. When Timmy had calmed down, Josh
released him and sat next to him. The three just looked at
each other for a brief, very uncomfortable moment.

"I guess I need to apologize." Alex started. "It's just that
I didn't expect to see that. I don't know what's been going
on, but since I've met you two, I've been really confused
about what I was feeling. I like girls, I have a girlfriend
at home, and we've done stuff together. I enjoy it. But I've
had trouble keeping my eyes off you, Timmy. It's just
something I can't avoid. When I look at you, I get the same
feeling I do when I'm with my girlfriend. It's just totally
confusing me."

Timmy looked at Alex with newfound respect. He realized that
what Alex had just admitted took balls. Timmy was unsure if
he could have done what Alex had just done.

"I don't know about Josh, but girls don't do anything for me.
I know, that I'm gay. I was kinda turned on when I saw you
naked yesterday, but, I've been fighting with myself for a
couple days now trying to understand how I was feeling about
Josh. Right before you came in, I told Josh how I felt about
him." Timmy explained.

"Well, when Timmy told me that he loved me, I remembered what
my Gramps had told me. That if something seemed right, it
probably was. I was feeling that I had the same feelings for
Timmy, but just didn't know how to say it, so, I got up and
went over to him to kiss him. I thought that maybe that would
tell Timmy how I felt. Before this trip, I didn't do anything
with anyone, boys or girls. I don't know if I'm gay, or what,
but I do know that I love Timmy."

Alex was still very confused. On one side, he was happy that
the other two had found each other. On another side, he felt
that he might be better off going back to his island and
leaving them alone. On another side, he was still attracted
to Timmy, and really didn't want to leave him.

The boys decided that they would just go on as if nothing had
happened. Josh and Timmy agreed that if they were going to
explore their relationship further, they would do it somewhere
else, not in the hut. Josh had stated that he didn't think he
was ready to have the kind of sex that Timmy had been having,
but he did know that he wanted to explore the feelings that he
and Timmy shared for each other.

They discussed this further, and finally, their stomachs got
the best of them and they decided to eat. They all agreed
that they didn't want fish again, so the three went off
together in search of fruit. The gathered enough for their
meal, and returned to the hut.

They enjoyed their meal, joking around with each other. Just
being kids. No discussion of sex, being gay, or anything of
the like. Just kids joking around about stuff kids joke
about. When they had finished, Timmy suggested they go for a
swim.

The three walked down to the lagoon. Timmy and Josh ran into
the surf. Alex just stood on the beach. He had a decision to
make. A few minutes later, Alex pushed his sweats down,
stepped out of them, and ran naked into the surf.

The boys played in the water for quite a while. Eventually,
they tired and decided to get out of the water. They walked
up onto the beach, and Timmy and Josh laid down on the sand.
Alex reached for his sweats, and in a bold moment, decided not
to put them back on. He laid down next to the others.

After the boys had been lying on the beach for some time, Josh
said that he had gotten enough sun and was going to go back to
the hut. The other two agreed and decided to join him. Much
to the surprise of the other two, Alex just walked back to the
hut. He left his sweats lying on the beach.

When they got back to the hut, the conversation moved to what
they were going to do about trying to be rescued. They
discussed the possibility of building a raft, but decided that
they didn't know where they were so wouldn't have any idea
which direction to sail into. They discussed building a fire
with wet wood so there would be a lot of smoke, hoping that a
passing airplane or ship would notice and send someone to
investigate.

They decided that the fire would probably have the best chance
for success. They only hoped that they were close enough to
where the ships went to be seen. The rest of the afternoon
was spent gathering as much wood as they could find. Instead
of using some of the wood to cook on, and some for their
signal fire, they decided they would use the signal fire to
cook on as well.

They built a pyre on the beach, put in some damp brush, and
Josh and Alex went about getting the fire going. The fire
took and large plumes of smoke rose into the air. What they
boys didn't know was at that moment, an airplane was passing
overhead. The co-pilot noticed the smoke, but passed it off
as a random fire on an uninhabited island.

Over the next few days, the boys became more comfortable with
each other. Alex remained as naked as the other two boys.
They daydreamed about what it would be like when they were
rescued. Josh was concerned because when they were rescued he
probably wouldn't be able to see much of Timmy. He wanted to
go home, but he wanted to be with Timmy too.

During the three days, Josh and Timmy had snuck off several
times to be 'alone'. Nothing more than kissing took place,
but the boys were becoming more and more in love with each
other.

On the fourth day after they had lit the signal fire, the same
co-pilot was flying overhead, and, again, noticed the smoke.
He didn't notice any widespread damage to the foliage of the
island, as he would have expected with a wildfire that had
burned for at least 4 days, and decided to take note of the
longitude and latitude coordinates of the island. He would
make a comment to his superiors when he landed.

The co-pilot went to his supervisor after doing his post-
flight check of the aircraft.

"Hey John, the other day when we were heading outbound, I
noticed some smoke from one of the islands in the Atlantic. I
didn't think anything of it at the time, but on our return
trip, I saw the same plume of smoke from the same island. I
didn't notice any damage to the flora and fauna on the island,
and decided to report it.

"Well, Chuck, that does seem strange. What are the
coordinates?"

The two men discussed Chuck's findings. They looked at the
charts and decided that it wasn't too far off the normal
shipping routes and decided to see if anyone had been reported
overboard from a ship. They researched it and found out about
the collision of the cruise ship and the freighter. John
picked up his telephone and made a phone call. When he hung
up he turned to Chuck.

"They're going to organize a mission to check that island out.
They should be there within three or four days."

(To be continued)

Well, Timmy and Josh have expressed their love for each other.
Alex seems like he's adjusting to things quite well. Is it
true? Are the boys going to be rescued? What will happen to
them afterwards? Find out more in Shipwrecked-8!

The next chapter of "Shipwrecked" should be out in a few days.
I would love to hear your thoughts on what has gone on so far.

Until next time,
