			     The Street Urchin
				  Part 4

Janet took to calling round to see Bill and Chris about once every week. It
had nothing to do with her job really, she just loved the company of these
two men. She had become very attached to Chris, showing a mother's
instincts despite being a young single woman. Her feelings towards Bill
were altogether different. This was a man like no other she had ever
known. Big, rugged, definitely not someone you would want to tangle with,
but a heart filled with love and compassion. She thought Chris was the
luckiest little boy in the world, and what she saw convinced her that Chris
thought the same.

Progress with the psychiatrist was slow, Chris simply didn't want to be
reminded of what had happened to him. He had friends he was comfortable
with and his rock, Bill, who loved him so much it was obvious to everyone
who saw them together. He progressed well in school and developed amazingly
at Karate, soon picking up his first belt.

In to his teens and the psychiatrist told Bill he didn't think he was ever
going to make the breakthrough he hoped for and therefore wasn't going to
waste the local authority's money any more, or Bill's time. Chris appeared
to be a totally normal boy, no hang ups that were obvious. He had his best
friend, Lee, feelings reciprocated, so, where you saw Chris you could
almost guarantee seeing Lee. On days when Chris had Karate after school Lee
would sit and watch until he finished when, as usual, Pam would be there to
take them home. Here was another woman who had seen the love Chris and Bill
had for each other and took great care to protect Chris if Bill wasn't
around.

Fourteen years old and now the little blond bombshell put on a spurt of
growth. He didn't catch up with Lee but he came close. With the increased
growth came a more defined body because of his Karate training. The look
was almost devastating he was so beautiful and Lee was getting feelings he
didn't recognise or understand every time he looked at his best friend.

The very close protection Chris had been used to gradually tailed off as
his self confidence grew. Bicycles were purchased for both boys and Pam's
school duties ceased, as did Bill's. The boys rode to school now. Lee took
up football so now, Chris had a spectator in the gym sometimes, and Lee had
one on the training ground.

While Chris was transiting from the gym to the football field one day, the
breakthrough Bill had been hoping for happened. Three senior boys saw Chris
by himself and cornered him behind the football stands.

"Well, well, look what we have here. Our little pussy boy. I don't know
about you two guys but I could handle a blowjob from those pretty lips."

"Yeah, me too Brad," came from another one and the third one said, "Great,
you two take his mouth, I'm going to feel that cute ass gripping my man
rammer."

Chris knew immediately what was meant by that, he was going to be raped
again. The expression, `seeing red', didn't even come close to explain how
Chris felt at that comment. He remembered his Karate instructors words
though. `Never fight when you are angry because you now have the ability to
kill people if you ever lose control.' Very calmly, Chris made sure they
couldn't get behind him before speaking.

"Come on then, but I'll warn you now, you try to touch me and I'll put you
down."

The three seniors laughed and rushed him together. They couldn't understand
why they were all on the floor and hurting about thirty seconds later.

"That was just a tickle. If you come at me again I'm going to break some
bones."

They looked at each other, and then this little guy and without a word,
came at him again. A seriously bruised groin, a dislocated shoulder and a
broken arm were the result of that foray.

Chris calmly called 911 and asked for an ambulance and the police,
explaining where he was and what the injuries were. Juvenile crime was
still Simon's responsibility so he answered the call. He arrived before the
ambulance and saw the three big boys writhing on the ground with Chris
stood away off watching them.

"I'm sorry Simon, they threatened to rape me and make me give them
blowjobs. They didn't appear to understand me telling them I didn't do that
kind of thing."

Simon was struggling to keep a straight face. Chris had said his piece with
a totally deadpan expression. He took down Chris's story and told the three
boys he would catch them at the hospital when they had been fixed up.

"Where are you going now Chris?"

"Oh I was just going to the football field to watch the last of the
practice. Lee is out there."

Simon had been seeing quite a lot of Chris because of his friendship with
Bill but was still quite amazed at how self assured the boy was now.

"Ok son, tell Bill I'll be round later to tell you both what's going on."

Chris didn't mention anything to Lee about the incident, but as soon as
Bill got home he told him.

"Dad, Simon will be round later. Three boys attacked me behind the football
stands. They were going to rape me so I had to put them down. Anyone wants
to stick their cock up my ass had better be making passionate love to me at
the time, I'm not puting up with that shit from bozos."

Bill looked at his angel and realised he wasn't, well not a complete one
anyway.

"What kind of language is that young man?"

"Sorry Dad, but no one is going to rape me again. I'm over the last one but
another one might be a bit too much."

Bill scooped the boy into his arms and kissed him quite passionately on the
lips.

"I love you so much and for years have worried that you have been bottling
that episode in your life."

"I was Dad, but can I tell you something and you promise you won't hate
me?"

Bill laughed.

"You could commit murder and I would still love you. Of course I hope you
won't."

Chris giggled.

"Not going to do that, but you might think this is worse. I'm pretty sure
I'm gay, Dad. I love Lee and I would like him to make love to me."

Christ, that came out of the blue, and where did this timid little kid find
the balls to come out with it like this.

Bill hugged him again.

"Not a problem for me Son, but let's talk about this when we have a little
more time."

"Ok Dad, whenever."

Bill wanted to laugh, he realised that he had achieved what he started to
do over two years previous. He had a beautiful, clever and very self
assured son. If he really was gay he would be a little sad because life
would not be easy for him, but he would still love him just as much.

Simon next and he had Bill almost rolling on the floor with laughter. Chris
must have had a sense of humour failure at that point because he couldn't
see the funny side of the story.

"Once the boys had been sorted I had to take their statements. They
immediately said they wanted to sue the ass off Chris. I said they could do
that, but did they really want the world to know that three big seventeen
year olds had been slaughtered by a little fourteen year old.

Their statements now read that they fell from the bleachers while fooling
around and Chris came along and called Emergency services. I assured them
that Chris would go along with that story as long as they all apologised to
him for what they had intended to do to him, which by the way, would have
put them into prison and ruined their lives. You'll go along with that
won't you Chris?"

Chris nodded, but still couldn't understand why his dad found it so funny.

"I think we've done it Simon. My little man is now a big man."

Bill scooped Chris into his arms again to cuddle him in front of Simon.

"Put me down Dad, put me down, I'm not a little boy anymore."

He was looking at Simon and blushing furiously.

Bill got serious then.

"Wrong Little Man, you are always going to be my little boy, and I'm always
going to love you more than anyone else in the world."

Chris couldn't resist it when he heard those words. He buried his face in
Bill's neck and whispered, "And I'm always going to love you more than
anyone else in the world."

Father and son then pulled apart enough to be able to see the love, and so
did Simon.

`Backing my best friend in his case to adopt that little blond bombshell is
one of the best decisions I have ever made', was his thought.

"I'll leave you guys to it. See you tomorrow for bowling Bill."

With that he was gone, back to the mean streets and a load of boys not
lucky enough to find a Bill.
