				SNAKE EYES

				 BY ARTHUR

AUTHORS NOTE:

This is a continuation of the life of Stewart and Fore, why? because I was
talked into it.

Thanks Matt, hope you like the results of your persistance.

He lay there in that half awake state of being alert and being out
cold. The smell of the soft skin on the nape of the golden neck just
millimeters from his searching lips aroused his baser instincts as his
right hand played with the small engraved brass case lying around the neck
of his Goldy.

The steady even rhythm of Fore's breathing was offset only by the
occassional twitch as Stewarts wrist rubbed over the small rubbery nipple
as he caressed the token of their love and commitment to each other.

Stewart wriggled a little as he felt the hotness of Fore's insides on his
shaft as it began to harden in the sheath it had been in all night, the
same as it had every night for the last three months. The two lovers did
not have sex every night, Stewarts position was just the way they liked to
sleep. Fore said it gave him a feeling of belonging and Stewart was not
about to take that away from him, ever.

Stewart loved the way Fore snuggled back to him each night so that they
could spoon as close as possible to each other and be that way when they
awoke in the morning. This mode of sleeping had started two weeks after
Fore's release from Hospital and once he had convinced Stewart that he was
ok, both boys settled into the routine.

Their apartment at the Motel had been set up by Terry while Fore was still
under observation where Stewart spent every waking moment at his bedside
and when Fore had been moved into a private room that Terry had insisted
on, Stewart was given a bed beside that of Fore. This had seemed a good
idea at the time but it wasn't long before only one bed was being used,
much to the consternation of the Hospital staff until Terry set them
straight.

Terry had got the carpenters in to remodel the area above the office of the
Motel so that it was divided in to two apartments. The one directly above
the office was Terry's private quarters, which the boys seemed to spend as
much time in as their own, and at the other end of the building it was
converted and fitted out for Terry's 'Two Boys' so they had privacy of
their own.

When the boys had first arrived at their new home they immediately
surrounded the tacturn ex cop and hugged him until he had to call a halt
before he ran out of breath. He had had the apartment completely furnished
in good quality furniture and had installed an over sized shower to take at
least two boys at the same time. When the boys saw the shower and the
raised eyebrow of Terry they went into immediate blush overload as Terry
chuckled and gave out the excuse that he had to save as much water as he
could with two extra bodies to use it now.

Fore had been extremely lucky that the 9mm bullet from the Glock had missed
most of his vital organs and apart from tearing a small hole in his
intestines, which the doctors had got to in plenty of time to avoid
peritonitus, there had not been to much damage. Fore's abdonimal muscles
had suffered a little with the surgery to remove the bullet but now three
months later it had closed nicely and the strength had returned to the boys
abs. Stewart loved to run his fingers lightly over the scar and called it
Fores inny as Fore's navel was an outy, Stewart told him he had the best of
both worlds to which Fore would kiss him and tell him to play with both at
the same time.

Terry had given them both time to settle into the routine of the Motel and
then had enrolled Fore into a night class at the local Polytech to do a
Management course. To Fore's amazement he found that he loved the course
and took his return to schooling just like a duck to water.

At last the settlement for Stewarts parents came through and as there was
only $15,000.00 left after all the expenses had been paid, he asked Terry
to take it and invest it in the Motel as it would one day be theirs
anyway. Terry had at first refused to touch the money so the boys had gone
back to their game plan when they wanted something. Terry lasted in the
hug, acompanied by the puppy dog eyes of both boys, for a good two minutes
before he surrendered to their request.

All the paper work had been sent in for their formal adoption by Terry but
as yet the usual beaurocratic stumbling hadn't finalsied it all. There had
been no objections from anyone at the move, in fact Terry had been
surprised at the number of people who made sure that the department backed
his plans for the boys.

The boys apartment was larger than terry's, he had explained that two
people needed more room than one and the bed he had put in the bedroom was
evidence of that. The lounge was a good size and as there was no need for a
kitchen he had put just a small servery area for their morning coffee and
night time snack it they wanted to use it anytime.

Stewarts great understanding of maths and computers had been put to good
use by Terry and when Stewart returned from the local school each afternoon
he would sit down and do the accounts for the Motel before doing his
homework. Fore, once he was fit enough had begun to work the front desk and
his bright cheery manner soon endeared him to the guests as he never seemed
to haver a bad day and always showed a great interest in the thoughts and
needs of each guest.

As Terry began to feel like a third wheel he decided to start to improve
the accomodation of the Motel by remodeling most of the rooms. He was now
almost finished the last room, only a little painting left to do and it
would be finished by the next day, which was lucky as he had two very
important people coming to stay for a week.

The Motel rooms were all the same size so he had decided to join two rooms
together and make one large suite out of it for special events, like
honeymoons or corporate leaders. The effect of joining both 35&36 together
turned out to be better than Terry thought it would be and now with only a
little touch up work with a paint brush to do he was glad of the effort.

Stewart felt the tightening of Fore's sphincter around his now hard shaft
and knew that his Goldy was waking up. Fore's upper arm tightened on
Stewarts arm where it lay over his chest and gave small humming sounds as
he said.

"Morming Babes."

"Morning Goldy, love you."

"Me too."

"Oh I see, you only love you, does that mean I'm on the outer now?"

"Don't you dare go outer me Babes, you know I like to feel you in there in
the morning."

The boys heard a faint sound outside their door.

"You two boys still spooned?"

"TERRYYYYYYYY."

The chuckle from the other side of the door told the boys it was time to
move.

"You two going to be long, I've got something here for you?"

"Not long Terry, we were just getting up."

"I meant are you getting out of bed soon, not asking what you were doing."

"TERRYYYYYYY."

Terry's footsteps could be heard retreating down the hallway toward the
kitchen on the ground floor as the two boys giggled at his inferences. Fore
gave a little push backwards and Stewart a little thrust forwards then with
a groan of displeasure they pulled apart and made for the bathroom.

Once downstairs they joined Terry at the table for the obligatory morning
coffee and as they sat down beside each other, Terry pushed across a pile
of official looking papers.

"Just write your names on the dotted line and you little buggers belong to
me."

The boys stared open mouthed at the adoption papers with all the seals and
technical terms as Terry pushed across a fountain pen that he had had for
many years and hardly ever used. Terry Thought that this was one time that
he should use it, as it would be a symbol of his commitment to the boys.

The blushes and smiles said it all to Terry as each boy wrote his name in
full on the papers then pushed them back over the table. Terry looked at
the names to make sure they had filled in the right line and then with
raised eyebrows and a stunned look on his face he turned to the boys.

"Is....is this really what you want?"

Both of them answered together.

"Yes."

Fore took over.

"We talked about it before and decided if you said it was ok then that's
what we wanted."

Terry looked down again at the two names on the paper, there before him was
the proof he had done the right thing by taking the boys in. Written in
capitol letters were the two names.

'STEWART NATE MADIGAN'....... 'TERRANCE MADIGAN Jr.'

"Boys......I.....uhm....Nate....."

"See Babes, told you we could shut him up."

The boys jumped from their chairs and wrapped Terry in one of their double
hugs and rested their heads on his shoulders.

"Thanks Pops."

Terry felt the tears come into his eyes as they spoke in unison.

"Hurmph....bloody boys, nothing but trouble, go get an old man another
coffee you pair of trouble makers."

Smiling broadly the boys got off Terry and went to refill his mug as they
blew a kiss to each other.

"A bloody hooker and a lost boy, how the hell did I get tied up with you
two."

"Cause we're your boys, that's why Pops."

Fore ducked the half hearted swipe Terry took at him and laughed as he
refilled their own two mugs.

"Ok you two time for business, Terrance Jr, we've got two guests coming in
for the new suite tomorrow, they're not in the register yet, I'll do it
later when I've finished the painting ok?"

"Ok Pops, what else is there?"

"Well your boyfriend has to get off to school soon so maybe we can get
those guests booked out of number 23 and 29 when you send him off, then
there's the matter of that account for the carpenters to straighten out."

"Ok Pops, I'll look after the guests and Babes can fix the acount when he
comes home this afternoon, is that ok?"

"Yep sure, you happy with that Stewart Nate?"

"Sure Pops, can we go practice again this afternoon?"

"I told you before, the shooting range is as much yours as it's mine, you
know what to do in there so you use it any time you want. How's the ammo
lasting out?"

"It's good Pops, we're keeping tabs on it for you and filling in the book
each time."

"Good boys, you still staying with that Tonka toy Stew?"

"Yeah Pops. it feels just right in my smaller hands but I think Fore,
sorry, Terry Jr, likes that bloody big Glock."

"Yes that would be him, always looking for something big."

"Popsssss."

"Yes Terry Jr?"

"Well you know."

"Uhuh, guess I do. Ok you two lets get the day underway, you got everything
ready for school Stew?"

"Yes Pops."

Stewart leant over to Fore and kissed him as he left the table and grabbed
the satchel by the door as he headed out to school.

"That boy really loves you, doesn't he Junior?"

"Same as I love him Pops."

"Good keep it that way, you two stick together and you'll never need anyone
else."

"Not true Pops."

"What you mean Junior?"

"We need you, thanks Pops for being here for us."

"Hmrph...get your ass to work Junior, I got things to do."

Fore reached across and gave his new Pops a hug and then sprang out of
reach as Terry took a swipe at his butt.

"Pops, you are just to old and slow."

Fore bent over and touched his toes just out of Terry's reach but to his
surprise and now smarting ass, Terry could move quicker than he thought.

"Old, slow, huh....see how you sit down now Terrance Junior."

"Damn you're quick."

"Not bad for an old man eh Junior, ok enough play lets get some work done."

The two parted to go to their own chores, Terry with a broad smile on his
face as he felt for the first time since his wife had passed on, a sense of
completeness. Fore just walked into the Reception rubbing a tender spot on
his butt, but with a huge smile at the thought of belonging.

While Fore was not the top of the class at night school he was still in the
top ten and the tutor could see that this young lad was putting everything
he had into learning about Hotel Mangement. He had never seen any other
student work as hard as this boy was and was gratified by his good manners
and at the same time his sense of humour.

At three o'clock the next day, Fore was checking the bookings for the
upcoming week when Terry walked past the desk on his way out the door.

"Got to go down the shops for a bit Junior, those two new guests should be
here soon, can you get them settled into the new suite and see if they need
anything?"

"Sure Pops."

Fore had not looked up from the register as Terry walked out the door but
then he realised that Terry had forgotten to put the new guests names in
the register.

"Pops. what's their...."

Terry had gone before he could tell Fore the names, Fore shrugged his
shoulders and left the names blank until they booked in. As he worked away
he half heard a car pull up outside the office and with a quick glance saw
two people in the front of the sedan. He couldn't make out their faces
through the tinted windows but assumed it was the new guests. Just as the
car doors were opening the telephone rang and he turned his back to answer
it.

"Good afternoon, Madigan Motel, Terrance Madigan speaking."

"Good afternoon Terrance Madigan, this is Stewart Madigan."

"Baaabes, love you."

"AHEM."

"Sorry babes got some guests to book in, hang on a minute, I'll be right
back."

"Ok. I'll wait Goldy."

Fore turned toward the voice asking.

"Yes Sir may I.............PETER.....IVAN."

"Hey sexy, got our room ready?"

"What...Where..how...who..."

"What do you think Ivan, think he's speachless at last?"

"Could be lover."

"What are you two doing here?"

"Booking in I hope."

"But you've got another month before you graduate."

"After that little party we had they gave us a hurry up and guess what?"

"What...what?"

"It's like the Sarge said, they want us in Vice, we said ok and they pushed
through our graduation so we could have some time off before we went on
duty."

"Stewart....oh my god."

Fore spun around and picked up the phone.

"Babes...babes you still there?"

"Yeah goldy, did you forget me already, just because to spunky cops turned
up?"

"Babes, how did you know?"

"Does....PETER, IVAN at the top of your voice sound familiar."

"Oh Babes, where are you, how long will you be?"

"Just leaving now Goldy, give me ten minutes and I'll be there, I'll get a
cab today, I don't want to miss anything."

"Ok Babes, hurry, I'll get the lovers settled in and wait for you."

Fore laid the phone back in its cradle and turned back to the two
friends. Just as the boys were about to start talking Terry walked into the
reception.

"Ah so you got here, about time, trust a couple of boy cops to be late."

Both young men smiled as they heard the voice and then turned as one and
hugged the older man.

"It's great to see you Terry, thanks a lot for having us stay here."

"Only did it to try out the new room and to keep my two boys from lazing in
bed all day, like bloody rabbits those two."

"Popssss."

"Quiet boy while I introduce you properly."

Terry turned to Peter and Ivan.

"Gentlemen, I'd like you to meet my eldest son, Terrance Madigan Junior."

The pride in Terry's voice as he said Fore's new name was evident to all
three boys.

"Terry Jr, oh well I suppose it's better than Fore, I like the Madigan bit,
but Terrance, damn that is sooooo poncey."

"Up yours copper."

Terry broke into the banter between Peter and Fore.

"Now Now boys, peace for an old man if you don't mind. Now how have you
both been, Nate tells me you got a rush job from the academy and you're
going straight into Vice, congratulations you both deserve it, you did good
work on that case."

"Yeah we did terry, but we couldn't save Fore.....sorry, Terrance, from
being hurt."

"Don't let it get to you Peter, you did what had to be done and got a good
result, Junior knows that and appreciates all you did for them both."

"Well we still feel we could have done more to protect him Terry."

"Water under the bridge Peter, now let me take you and Ivan through to your
room, If Junior does it I won't see him for two days."

"Popsss."

Terry gave a chuckle as he led the two new cops out to their room. As he
opened the door a flash of boy ran full speed into Peter and hugged him
close. Peter looked down at the glowing face on his chest.

"Hey Stew, how's that boyfriend of yours been treating you lately."

"Oh him."

Stewart sounded really upset. Peter was taken aback by the sorrowful look
on Stewarts face.

"Stewart, what's wrong?"

"That bastard threw me over for two young cops, he hung up on me today so
he could watch the new eye candy in uniform."

Stewart burst out laughing at the stunned look on Peter and Ivans faces and
then the laughter was joined by all of them as the friends settled into the
old comfortable feeling of closeness they had had during the operation to
take down the Tigermen.
