"Oh god what was that?" Winifred then screamed as she jumped into

Tina had to smile which she could see made Winifred a bit mad, "What
are you smiling at, it could be a shark about to attack us!"
"It was a shark." Tina said feeling Winifred wrap her legs around

Before Tina could further explain Winifred said, "Well then get us
out of here!"
"Honey, it was a sand shark. It is only a foot or so long and the
most it could eat of us is our little toes and with the way your feet
stink, I don't think it would want your little toe." Tina told her.
"Oh okay." Winifred said as she relaxed a little but still held onto
Tina. Then after a pause she said, "Hey my feet don't stink!"
Tina laughed at a pouting Winifred, "I was wondering if you caught
that."
"I did! You meanie!" Winifred said as she gave Tina a slight smile
before putting her head on Tina's shoulder holding on tight which Tina
didn't mind in the least.
Tina slowly moved them on out until she was having to jump to get
over the waves. The salt water made that easier as she was carrying
Winifred. "Hey you're moving us out further aren't you?" Winifred asked
her.
"Yea just a little." Tina told her.
"Don't go too far, I want to be able to touch the ground." Winifred
warned her.
"You don't have to; I'm touching it for you." Tina told her.
"Good," Winifred said as she held on tightly.
Tina kept jumping the waves as she felt Winifred began to relax
again. "I going to let the next wave wash over us, hold your breath when I
tell you to." Tina told Winifred.
"No don't!" Winifred told her.
"Too late, here it comes, hold your breath!" Tina said as she pulled
them both under the water as the wave washed over them taking them inward a
few feet. Tina got her feet back under her, lifting them both out of the
water.
"Don't you dare do that again!" Winifred protested as she hit Tina
on the back.
"Okay I won't." Tina told her and then she said, "Oh no here comes
another one, hold your breath." And the pulled them under the water again.
The wave washed them in some more and when Tina pushed them above
the water, Winifred pulled away from her. "You are such a bitch!" Winifred
said as she had her feet back on the sand and she hit her on both of her
upper arms.
"That I am." Tina said as she had to smile at Winifred saying a bad
word, something that she had never heard from her before.
"Yes you are!" Winifred said as she was now jumping up over the
waves on her own without holding onto Tina or needing to.
"But this bitch got you all the way out here and you're not even
holding onto me. You're doing it all by yourself." Tina told her.
Winifred started to spit something back at her but then she looked
out at the ocean and the waves coming in that she was jumping up over on

"I did but it worked." Tina said feeling proud of herself.
"I ought to slap that smug smile right off your face." Winifred said
and it appeared that she was going to but instead she hit the water
splashing Tina.

caused Winifred to retaliate.
Winifred then began to walk, swim away as Tina chased her and so
they played in the ocean slowly working their way toward shore where they

realize why she had come to this place.
"I guess it is..." Winifred said as she gave Tina's hand a squeeze.
They sat there just looking out to the sea holding hands. Tina felt

just sit here the rest of the day but then Winifred brought her out of her

out what she would need to start a chair. She figured that if she knew how

brought the pieces over setting them down a few feet in front of

Winifred would stop her. She glanced at the chair that Winifred was working
on to see how she put the pieces together. She then got some of the sea
grass rope to secure the legs to the supporting pieces. She got Winifred's
knife and notched out a grove in the legs to place the supporting pieces
into. She then put the first supporting piece on the notch and she used the
sea grass rope to secure it in place. She could feel Winifred's eyes on her
so when the tied the pieces together, she did so without getting them

supporting piece to another leg.

do. Tina went on to the other two legs getting the support piece put onto

it would fall apart on them. She picked up another piece of bamboo to start

"Wait a minute." Winifred told her.

it became serious again. "You just need to tighten the rope a bit more; the
chair will fall apart when someone sits on it."
"Oh okay, thanks." Tina said as she loosened one of the ties and
retied it. She did get it tighter however she let it loosen a bit as she
tied it again.
"Like this?" Tina asked proudly.
Winifred tried not to frown but Tina could see that was what
Winifred wanted to do. Finally she said with some hesitation in her voice,
"May I show you?"
"Sure," Tina said as she let out a big smile which made Winifred
frown for real.
Winifred came over sitting down on the sand in front of Tina, "Do it
like this." She said as she untied all the ropes so that Tina was back at
the beginning. She then placed the first support on the first leg tying it
tightly and getting it even like she liked it.
"Oh okay," Tina said before she did the same with the other end of
the support piece securing it to the second leg, this time doing it exactly
like Winifred had showed her. "Is this okay."
"Yes, much better." Winifred beamed.
Tina went to the next set of legs and she began to secure the
support piece on this time getting it a little off but not intentionally.
"Here move this piece in just a hair more." Winifred said correcting
her.
"Like this?" Tina asked.
"Yea, that's better." Winifred told her.
"Thanks for the help," Tina told her giving her a half smile.
Winifred just looked at her for a moment then her face broke out
into a smile, "You know you could have just asked me to show you how to
build a chair."
"I know..." Tina told her giving her a mischievous grin.
"You're a real pistol, you know that?" Winifred said more than
asked.
"Yea I know." Tina said as she grinned from ear to ear. Then she
turned serious as she said, "I do want to know how you do this."
Winifred smiled, "Then I guess I'll have to show you won't I."
Winifred told her giving her a smile.
"But let me do the work, don't do it for me." Tina told her.
"Oh I don't plan on it; you started this chair and you're going to
have to finish it." Winifred said as she gave her a little wink.
"Cool so what's next?' Tina asked.
"You tell me." Winifred told her making Tina frown and smile at her.
Tina began to work, asking Winifred questions and for the first
time, she got answers to her questions. They laughed and giggled though out
the afternoon as Tina made slow work of the chair. She was learning how to
build a chair but she was also getting Winifred to relax when she asked her
something. She knew that she had begun to find a way into Winifred's secret
world, the world that she knew so little about. She just had to get

wasn't something that Winifred had done once when she was staying with her
before.
When they stopped to eat their supper, Tina had only completed the
frame of the chair. They would have gotten more done but they were too

as Winifred fixed them something to eat. Once it was ready, they sat in the
shade of the trees and ate. Tina talked a little more about her life before

slowly making inroads and that was all that mattered.
When they got to the bathing pool, Winifred took the scarf from her
waist as Tina got them a piece of soap. They went on into the water getting

first as she watched then she washed her hair as Winifred kneeled in from

When Tina finished, they both turned around so that she was facing
the foot of the bed and Winifred was behind her. Winifred got her to keep
on talking as she combed her hair. When Tina's hair was dry, she felt
Winifred moving around behind her and then she felt Winifred's hand on her
right shoulder pulling it down. Tina knew what Winifred wanted her to do,
so she lay back in the bed and then she opened her arms as Winifred lay
down placing her head on Tina's chest between her breasts. Tina put her

Tina awoke to the smell of breakfast cooking so she wasn't surprised

"So are you going for a run this morning?" Winifred asked as Tina
came back from washing their bowls and the pot that Winifred used to cook

"Actually I thought that maybe I would go for a swim, you want to
join me?" Tina asked as she wanted to get Winifred back into the ocean. She
didn't want her to just go in once and never again thus never really
overcoming her fear.
"Do I have to?" Winifred asked with a touch of uncertainty in her
eyes.
Tina was disappointed but not surprised by Winifred's question. She
wanted to say "Yes" and then explain why however she tried another course
of action. "No, it fine if you don't want to." She said and then she turned
and started toward the beach. Normally she would run toward the water and
splash her way into it but she wanted to give Winifred time to change her
mind and join her. She began to wonder if that was the right thing to do as
Winifred was obviously not going to join her. She slowed her pace until
she was barely creeping along. Tina kept on walking as she got to the point
that the waves coming in began to cover her feet. It was then that she
heard feet hitting the wet sand behind her.
"You won't go too deep will you?" Winifred asked as she took Tina's
hand.
"No, I won't go too deep." Tina told her as she gave Winifred's hand
a squeeze.
"Thanks for not making me join you." Winifred told her as she looked
at her.
"I didn't want to do that but I admit that I was hoping that you'd
join me." Tina admitted to her.
"I know you did and that is why I decided to come." Winifred told
her.
"Plus you had fun yesterday." Tina said but also asked.
Winifred hesitated before saying, "Yea I did have fun... but not
when we go so far out that I couldn't touch the bottom." Winifred said.
"Then we won't go so far out today." Tina assured her.
Tina took Winifred out until the water was just above Winifred's
belly button. That was when a wave came through, it only went up to
Winifred's breasts and she only had to jump a little when a larger wave
came through. They played around and Tina got Winifred to dunk under a few
of the waves letting it wash them both in a little so they had to work
their way back out. Tina also taught Winifred how to belly surf some of the
bigger waves which Winifred loved. They stayed out in the ocean for a

the water. Then as they were coming out of the water, Winifred hung back

other up and down the edge of the water screaming, laughing, and just
generally having fun. They finally called a truce and headed back to the
hut where they both had a long drink of water as they rested.
Tina then sat down to work on her chair. The frame was completed so
Winifred sat down and helped her to get started on weaving in the
seat. Once Tina was doing it to Winifred's satisfaction, Winifred go up to
fix them some lunch as she kept an eye on her making corrections as she saw
fit to make. They took a break to eat and then they both went to work on
their own chairs as they sat under the shade of the trees around their
hut. They both took their time, talking some and working some. It was a
warm lazy afternoon and they both weren't in a hurry to get their chairs
done. Tina was able to get at least the seat done in her chair before they
stopped for supper. It wasn't as tight as what Winifred had done but it was
functional and that was all that mattered to her.
After supper, they went to take their baths, taking their time to
wash each other's hair. They then came back to brush out one another's
hair before laying down to sleep in Winifred's bed with Winifred's head on

This in a way gave Tina a sense of purpose, like she was playing an
important part in Winifred's life and maybe Winifred was playing an

The next morning, Tina gave Winifred a break from the water and she

a good long run and as she came back, she noticed someone sitting in the

hut to see no one there and when she went back to the person that was

own now. Tina moved up on the beach trying to circle in behind. Once she
was directly behind of her, she eased down to the water and as quietly as
possible, going until she was close enough to kick the water and splash

"You do that and I'm pouring out this cold water I just got for
you." Winifred said without looking back.
Tina looked at the pouch of water that Winifred was now holding out
and she was still tempted to kick the water but she was very thirsty and
the water just looked so good. "Damn you, you're no fun." Tina said with a
sigh as she came up beside of her, sitting down, and taking the pouch of
water which she began to gulp down.
"How did you know what I was going to do anyway?" Tina asked after
she had drained half of the pouch of water.
"I saw you coming up the beach and when you disappeared it didn't
take a genius to figure out that you were up to some type of meanness."
Winifred said with a grin on her face.
"What me up to any meanness? I can't believe you would say that, I'm
hurt!" Tina said faking a sad pitiful look.
"You're full of meanness, but I kind of like it." Winifred told her
as she held out her hand and Tina took it.
"Good cause I got four years of meanness to get out before I can
even start on any new meanness." Tina said with a laugh as she squeezed
Winifred's hand.
"Thanks for warning me." Winifred said with a laugh.
"So what are you doing sitting out here in the water?" Tina had to
ask.
"I don't know, I was getting hot and decided to come out here and
cool off and besides I figured it was about time for you to come back."
Winifred said.
"Well this water does feel good on my hot body and the water you
gave me was even better, thank you." Tina told her.
"You're welcome," She said with a shy smile. "You ready to finish
that chair of yours?"
"I guess so." Tina said as she got up then she reached down to help
Winifred up.
"Thanks," Winifred said as she let Tina help her up.
Once Winifred was on her feet, Tina saw this devious smile come
across her face and then next thing she knew, Winifred had her hands on her
shoulders and was pushing her back into the water. Tina screamed as she
fell back into the water.
Winifred then took off toward the hut as she yelled, "I'm full of
meanness too." Then she burst out laughing.
Tina lay there in the water and after getting over her surprise, she
broke out laughing at seeing a side of Winifred she hadn't seen
before. Winifred by then had gotten up to the hut and she was still
laughing which made Tina smile. She got up, and made her way up to the hut
with the water dripping off of her. "You know payback is hell." Tina told
her and Winifred tried to stop giggling but she couldn't. Tina then put her
fingers into her hair and moved them quickly back and forth thus spraying
Winifred with water which only made Winifred giggle more.
Tina went on over to her chair and began to work on the back as
Winifred calmed back down and began to work on her own chair. After a few
minutes, she asked, "You're not mad at me for pushing you are you?"
Tina smiled and said, "Oh hell no, I would have done the same if I
had thought of it first. Besides I was going to splash you until you
tempted me with that water."
"True, I don't know why I did it." Winifred told her.
"I do," Tina said and she got a confused look from Winifred until
she added, "You wanted to have a little fun and you went for it."
Winifred gave her an embarrassed smile as she said, "Yea." Then she
went back to work on her chair as did Tina.
By late afternoon, Tina weaved in the last piece of sea grass rope
and with Winifred's help, she got it tied off and she had her masterpiece
completed though it was far from being a masterpiece. "Well what do you
think?" Tina asked feeling proud of her effort as she stood up to eye her
creation.
"It looks great, much better than the first one that I tried to
make." Winifred told her then she said, "Go on and sit it and see how it
feels."
"No I want you to be the first one to sit in it." Tina told her.
Winifred smiled back at her and said, "I would be proud to."
As Winifred went to the chair and started to sit down, Tina was
saying silent prayers that it wouldn't fall apart. Tina noticed that
Winifred was sitting down very carefully just in case that did
happen. Luckily it did not and a smile appeared on her face. "It is very
comfortable, you did a great job. I'm proud of you." Winifred said as she
got up coming over to Tina giving her a hug that Tina was happy to return.
"Now you sit in your chair." Winifred said as she pulled back and
holding out her arm for Tina to sit in her chair.
Now was the time for Tina to get nervous, she was taller and weighed
more than Winifred and just because the chair held Winifred's weight for a
few moments, that didn't mean that it would hold hers. So Tina sat down
even slower than Winifred did and she felt her bottom sink down in the seat
where it didn't with any of Winifred's chairs. Tina leaned back and again
the back gave a little but it was holding. She knew she had a long ways to
go before she could come close to making a chair as well as Winifred, if
she ever could. "See you make a great chair and much better than I did the
first time that I tried." Winifred said to her proudly.
Tina stood up coming to Winifred taking her hands saying, "Well I
had a great teacher and I don't believe that it was better than your first
chair."
"You don't think so?" Winifred asked.
"Nope I don't." Tina said definitely.
"Well come on little girl." Winifred said letting go of her left
hand but gripping her right harder as she began to pull Tina along.
"You know I'm bigger than you." Tina protested as she was dragged
along heading behind of the hut.
"You may be bigger than me but you're still a little girl to me."
Winifred told her and Tina wasn't so sure if she meant that or was just
spitting back at her. But then she caught a glimpse of Winifred's face and
saw that it was a bit of both.
Tina wanted to spit back at her with something however something
told her to let Winifred win this little battle of wits. So she just smiled
and that seemed to please Winifred. They went on for a few feet before
Winifred stopped pulling Tina up beside of her.
"See my first creations." Winifred said with a smile.
Tina looked to where Winifred was pointing and all she saw was
pieces of chairs against a coconut tree. "What did you do, slam them
against the tree?" she asked.
"That's exactly what I did. I got so mad that they didn't turn out
the way they were suppose to so I brought them here and slammed them
against the tree getting out all my frustrations." Winifred told her.
"How many chairs are there here?" Tina asked as she went over to the
tree and began to go through the many pieces of chairs.
"Oh I don't know... maybe ten or so." Winifred told her.
"Oh... but I don't see anything wrong with some of these pieces..."
Tina said as she picked up the back of a chair and she could see nothing
wrong with it.
"There's something wrong with it, let me assure you." Winifred told
her seriously.
Tina got up and went to Winifred and took her hands in hers, asking,
"A chair has to be perfect before you will let go, doesn't it?"
"Yes it does, I want it to be perfect with no flaws." Winifred said
and Tina saw a bit of sadness deep in her eyes.
"You know there is no such thing as perfection, everything has
flaws... especially me." Tina told her seriously.
"I know..." Winifred told her, then she pulled Tina into her body
and she whispered into her ear, "I won't throw you away no matter how many
flaws you have."
"That's good to know." Tina whispered back as they held each other
with Winifred putting her head on Tina's shoulder and Tina's chin resting
on Winifred's shoulder.
After a few moments, Winifred whispered into Tina's ear, "And you
have a bunch of flaws..." then she giggled.
Tina pulled back with a look of shock on her face, "I have a bunch
of flaws, I can't believe that you said that!" But then she let out a smile
that made Winifred giggle more.
"Yes you do!" Winifred said as she pulled completely away and then
she started to run back toward their hut.
"Oh I get you for that!" Tina said running after her but not really
trying to catch up as she enjoyed watching Winifred's ass cheeks move as
she ran.
Tina let her run all the way down to the edge of the water before
catching her. She then spun her around and she just had to smile as
Winifred giggled. Then Winifred pulled her back into a tight hug before she
whispered, "You really don't have that many flaws."
"I know but you do." Tina said and that made Winifred giggle even
more. They held each other there for a while before Tina pulled away a
little and she found herself looking into Winifred's light green eyes. Tina
felt a tug in her heart as they stared into each other's eyes. Tina wanted
to lean in and kiss her but then she stopped herself for some reason.
"I guess it is time we ate and get our baths in." Tina told her and
she got a sad smile from Winifred before the sad smile turn bright and
Winifred led her back to the hut where she cooked them something to eat.
Again that night as they bathed, Tina found herself staring into
Winifred's caring green eyes and again she passed up the chance to kiss
her. She didn't get a disappointed smile from Winifred but a soft one.
Since her chair was completed and Tina had no desire to build
another one, leaving that task to the master chair builder, Tina went for a
morning run and that afternoon, she got her net back out and caught them a
fish to eat. They then got into a little bit of a routine with Tina going
for a run in the morning and either fishing or working at their garden in
the afternoon. And as much as Tina wanted to kiss Winifred when they held
each other, she passed on the chance every time and hating herself for
doing so afterwards.
One day Winifred decided that the hut needed a good cleaning out,
Tina offered to help but Winifred told her to go catch them a fish for
lunch. Tina gladly accepted the offer as cleaning was one of the things
that she hated to do. Before she got sick, she did everything she could to
