Ada noticed that Gisele seemed a little fidgety. She asked her, ''Baby,
is anything wrong? Gisele hemmed and hawed, but finally blurted out, ''It

cried, ''the other one!'' Ada was puzzled. We only met one man from

discovered that this other man had been a teacher at the little girl's
previous school. He had been her History teacher. As Gisele related the
story, Ada learned that he had kept Gisele after class one afternoon. He
had told her to re-write her paper on the War of 1812. While she worked
on it, he stood right next to her and gently brushed her long blonde
hair. Gisele felt strange that he was doing that, but , after all, he WAS
the teacher!. Then he began rubbing her shoulders as she wrote the essay.
Then he had her come up to his desk while he graded the paper. As she

device. The nurse, Nurse Naomi, began to attach leather straps to
Gisele's elbows and ankles. She told her they were needed so Gisele would

rubbed little circles on her stomach, and this calmed her. The nurse was
prodding her all over and it seemed that her fingers even strayed across

give a report to the Principal. Gisele laid there, not knowing what to
think, and then the nurse told her she was moving her head too much, and
attached a band across her throat. This kept Gisele's head against the
table and severely restricted her field of vision. Nurse Naomi told her,

then, that History teacher had slipped silently into the room, and his
