Subject: Court Rhythm Pt. 7

~*~Throwback Scene~*~

I was so scared that I did not know where to turn. All I knew was that I
had to get to that hospital fast. I ran to the police but they wouldn't
offer me a ride & the Principal was too busy talking about the situation,
that I didn`t want to bother her. The only one who was with me in that
parking lot was Tashii. I turned to look at her & she had a big smile on
her face.

"What the fuck you grinnin for?" I said

"You." She simply replied.

"Oh so this shit is funny to you, huh?"

"Uh, yeah. Here you are practically sprung on this chick that passes out
at the thought

of going to jail. Scary Ass." She said coming towards me. "See I knew you
should've gotten rid of that bitch & got with a real down ass chick like
me. Seems like she's fucked up enough as it is." She said with a big
smile.

"What the fuck is ya problem. All this shit is your fault. Jenny got beat
up by her own father, & now she won't even talk to me all because of
you, & now you still have the audacity to make a pass at me? While
talking down on Jenny?" I said in the most sarcastic tone.

"Well honestly, I can care less about Jenny & I don't understand why you
do. I mean she aint shit but a pretty face. She's not a real chick. Not
like me." She said smoothly.

"Tashii I hope you realize that I'm not even listening to the shit you
sayin' right now, cause I ain't got time for it. I need to get to that
hospital." I told her.

"Well I can take you. . . . come on let's go" She said happily as she
began

to walk to her car.

I just stood there because I was trying to process what had just

happened. I know that I just played her, with an intention on trying to
make her feel bad. Then on top of that, she is offering to take me to see
the same girl who she was talking bad about. She just played herself. But
at this time I really have no other choice. I really need to get to that
hospital, who knows when the next time I will be able to see Jenny. Maybe
if I get there early enough I can explain the situation over to the
policemen so that my girl doesn't end up in jail. By this time Tashii had
already drove up to me & unlocked the doors. I still didn't want to get
in, but I got in because all I could think about was what they were doing
to Jenny.

"You know what hospital she's at right?" I said as I hopped in the car.

" Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know where the dyke is." Tashii said with a smile
on

her face.

"Shut the fuck up Tashii; I don't like it when people talk about her like
that." I snapped back.

"What, that's what she is right? I mean she dresses like one with all the
colors & she fucks with girls so I mean what else am I supposed to call
her?" She laughed

"Well if I remember correctly, you like pussy too, am I right? & just
cause her wardrobe is colorful, don't mean a thing. I've seen plenty of
girls who are not gay, that dress like that. Besides at least Jenny has
style, I don`t know about you on the other hand." I said looking her up
& down.

"Whatever. I bet she wouldn't be defendin' you the way you are
defendin' her right now." She said

"What the fuck you mean?! She just beat ya ass over me earlier today. You
sound hella stupid right now." I said with a laugh "& then she tried to
defend me against her father, her own flesh & blood. Yo messy ass would
have never done that!" I shouted.

"Alright little girl!" Tashii shouted as she slammed on the breaks "You
are

not going to keep talking to me like this, while you're in my car!" She
said.

Her outburst took me by surprise. The look on her face was priceless,
because for once she looked kind of serious. I laughed at her, because
she could bagged on someone for days, but when its reversed on her, she
can't deal with it. I didn't want to get her too mad to where she
would've put me out of the car or something, so I just shut my mouth at
that point. I looked over to see what she was going to do & almost
instantly she looked over at me & grinned. After about thirty seconds of
her grinning she started driving again. So instead of looking towards her
way, I turned & looked out of the window. That's when I noticed that we
were no where near a hospital, our school, or even our neighborhood to be
completely honest. I had no clue where we were. It wasn't long before I
got nervous. I started to get a little voice in my head screaming "You
should`ve listen to me stupid ass!" I thought to myself how could I have
gotten into this mess. Soon enough, Tashii noticed the puzzled look on my
face & sped up the car. Within the next sixty seconds Tashii was parking
the car across the street from a beat up looking house, deep in the hood.

I didn't know what to do. I just kept saying to myself that I just got
played big time. I was so confused that I didn't even know how I should
react to this. So I just thought the best way to deal with it was to just
remain calm, but I guess the message didn't get to my mouth quick enough,
because as soon as she turned of the ignition, I snapped.

"Where the fuck are we?!" I shouted. "I don't see no muh'fuckin'
hospital Tashii!

Where are we?!" I continued.

She looked at me & began to unbuckle her seat belt, saying "Calm down
girl, I just needed to make a stop to my Auntie's house to pick up
something. Don't worry we ain't far from the hospital, or from the
school, so quit your worrying & sit tight. Oh yeah & don't touch shit in
my car!"

"Whatever Tashii just hurry up & get what you gotta get, I gotta see
Jenny & find out if she's ok. & I ain't gon' touch nothin' in this
raggedy muh'fucka." I said

Soon enough, she slammed the door & walked to the beat up house. I waited
patiently for about 15 minutes, until that little voice came back in my
head. I was getting kind of nervous & I started to call up Kelly to come
get me, until I seen Tashii walk from behind the house. She stopped in
front of the house & looked back, as if she had heard something or
whatever, then she continued on until she got to the car. I didn't see
anything in her hand, so I started questioning her.

"Quit playin` games Tashii, what are we really here for cause I don`t
see nothin` in yo hands." I said

"Calm down little girl, I`ll take you to see your dyke in a minute."

"Hurry the fuck up then!!! Damn my patients has ran out & I`m ready to
go."

"Alex why are you acting like this???" Tashii said sarcastically

"What?!?! How would you act if you were with someone who you really
don`t want to be with & they SAY they`re going to take you to the
hospital, but end up taking you deep in the hood???...Exactly so don`t
tell me to calm down!!!"

"You are so sexy when you're mad" She said coming closer to me.

"What are you doing?" I said

"You know what I want, Alex. & if you give me what I want, then I will

give you want you want. You know Give & receive. Feel me?" She said
slowly.

My first reaction was to just slap the shit out of her, but then I
realized that people where starting to crowd around the car. I have no
clue what is going on, so I just sat there. A few minutes later Tashii
grabbed the back of my head & slammed her lips against mines. We were
stuck like this for a minute, until I finally pushed her off of me.
Before I could do anything, the car doors opened & a group of girls
grabbed me & took me out the car. One girl started kicking me, while
another one was hitting me with something. I curled up in the fetal
position hoping that they would stop, but they didn't. A few minutes of
experiencing excruciating pain, I realized that they were kind of worn
out, so I seized the opportunity to get some licks in. That wasn't the
case though, because as I got off of the ground, 2 girls greeted my face
with their fists. I was back on the ground & before I blacked out I heard
a familiar voice yelling "Stop, stop what are you doing!!!"

When I woke up, All I seen were bars. That's when I thought "Aw hell
naw, how the fuck I end up

in jail." But then I looked up & saw a white ceiling & I noticed that I
was in one of those white robe type things. I reached over to touched my
arm & I noticed that there was an I.V. in there & that's when it dawned
on me that I was in a hospital. I turned my head to the right to look
through the bars, & I seen Jenny

laying in the bed next to mine, with I .V's in her arm as well. She was
awake, & I could tell she was still pissed at me, because her eyes were
burning a whole straight through me....right then & there I knew she was
gonna kill me.
