Soulmates - Chapter 3 - Home When Janet woke up, Donise was sitting above her gently stroking her face and hair. "Morning again Darlin" she said and planted a deep kiss on Janet's lips. Janet wrapped her arms around Donise and kissed her back deep. After minutes they finally broke from the kiss and just stared deep into each other's eyes. "I really can't believe I found you" Janet told Donise "I just feel so right with you. I finally feel happy and content inside like everything snapped into place the second we kissed". "I feel exactly the same baby" Donise replied, "I never thought I would find my perfect soulmate but I know you are the one". Janet smiled. She loved that term, soulmate. It described how she felt about Donise so perfect. They were now forever bound and she knew they would spend eternity together. "So baby" Donise asked, "what would you like to do today?" "Anything as long as I am with you honey" Janet answered back. At that the two cuddled and deeply kissed again. Finally Donise suggested they get cleaned up and go for a nice walk around the lake so they could watch the sunset. The two got up and took a nice long shower. Of course they couldn't resist each other and came several more times in celebration of their love. When they were finally out of the shower, Donise loaned Janet a pair of blue jean shorts and a white t-shirt. Donise pulled on a pair of grey jogging shorts and red t-shirt. They walked out and around the lake hand in hand, kissing along the way. They walked for about a mile around the lake when they came to a nice clearing. Donise came here from time to time to clear her thoughts from daily stress, just pure deep love and happiness. Today though she came here with absolutely no stress. Donise laid a blanket down for her and Janet. Donise sat first and Janet sat in front of Donise and leaned back into her. Donise wrapped her arms tightly around Janet. "The sunset here is so beautiful baby, I've always loved being here and watching it. This will be the first time I ever sat and watched it with someone I love" she told Janet. "You know, I never actually sat and watched a sunset honey, I am so glad my first one is going to be with you" Janet confessed. The two sat cuddling while watching the sun go down. The deep red and orange sky reflected off the lake in a beautiful display. Janet leaned back into Donise and she held her tighter. Donise then kissed the back of Janet's neck which caused her to get even more Goosebumps. Janet couldn't help herself and turned several times to kiss Donise on the lips. She loved the softness of Donise's lips and the taste of her mouth. Actually, she loved everything about Donise. Even her name gave her heart warmed just hearing it. When the sun finally set, Janet laid back on the blanket while Donise sat over her kissing her deep. Their loving embrace was interrupted though by the cold night air breeze from the lake. "Baby, let's go back to town and get something to eat" Donise told Janet. "That sounds wonderful" Janet replied. "I have someplace very special and someone I want you to meet," she told Janet. Now Janet was curious. "Who is that?" she asked. "All in good time love, you are going to just have to be patient," she told her with a smile and a wink. "Well, alright honey, as long as I am with you I can be very patient" she replied back. The two made their way back to the cabin and collected their dresses and heels from the night before. On the ride back to town Janet at and cuddled next to Donise. This time she wasn't sleeping and it wasn't an accident. This time she sat purposely and clung to her love. Back at the townhouses, Donise suggested they change before going out to eat. She suggested they dress casually, so Janet wore a pair of blue jeans, white lacey t-shirt and her favorite pair of black 3-inch pumps. Donise also changed into blue jeans, pink t-shirt and white 3-inch sandals. "Wow baby, you look wonderful" Donise remarked. Janet laughed and said "Oh, your just bias". "Of course I am Darlin, but I can't help it I am in love with the most beautiful woman around". This time Janet blushed a deep red and said, "You can't be because I am looking at the most beautiful woman around". At that they were back in each other's arms kissing deeply. "As much as I would love to stand here and kiss you all night, we better get going to dinner baby" Donise told her. Janet did her best whimpering sound and replied back "Oh, ok, fine" and gave her best mock frowning face. Donise laughed and kissed her again, this time pulling her towards the door. In the car Janet asked Donise where they were going. Again Donise told her it was a surprise. Once at the restaurant Donise took Janet's hand and lead her inside. Behind the hostess counter was a good-looking woman, also red hair and a big smile. "Donise, how the hell have you been?" she asked "And who is this lovely woman with you?" "Sheli, remember that dream I told you about where I met my soulmate?" "Yes" she replied back. "Well, meet Janet, I finally found her". Sheli took a step back and eyed Janet. She could see very quickly the love Janet had in her eyes for Donise. "Well sis, I agree and approve. It looks like you finally found her". Janet blushed back and said "Sis? So your Donise's sister?" "Yep, me and Doni are sisters and I love her to death" Sheli replied. "So you better be good to her or I will have to kick your butt" she winked back. "Sheli!" Donise shouted back. Sheli looked at Donise and laughed "Oh sis, you know I am just kidding, I can tell from the look in her eyes she is going to love you forever". At that they all laughed and Sheli gave Donise and then Janet a nice big hug. "This dinner is on the house sis in honor of you two finally meeting" Sheli told her. Before Donise could protest Sheli gave her a stern look and Donise knew not to argue. "Mary, you give them the best table and make sure they get extra special service, bring them a bottle of wine as well. You two, enjoy yourselves, and Janet, welcome to the family" she winked at them. "You have a wonderful sister" Janet told Donise. "Yes she is" Donise told her "I love her very much. She has never warmed up to anyone I ever met before like she did with you". Janet smiled and hugged Donise's arm tighter. "She was right in the fact I will love you forever" Janet replied. Donise looked into Janet's eyes "I know baby, and I will love you forever too". The two had a wonderfully romantic dinner. As with last time, they played footsies under the table. Of course this time was on purpose. Sheli stopped by the table several times during dinner and make sure they were happy and taken care of. Janet had lasagna and Donise had a nice plate of spaghetti. Both remarked it was the best they ever had and that Sheli had outdone herself. After dinner, Sheli insisted they had dessert and gave them a nice slice of cheesecake. She also brought out some almond flavored coffee. After the meal Donise left a generous tip for Mary. She also left a nice tip for Sheli at the counter without telling her about it. As generous as Sheli was, Donise knew she was just starting out in her restaurant and could use the cash. Before leaving the two made their way up to where Sheli was standing and gave her big hug and thanked her again for her hospitality. "Honey, it was a pure pleasure meeting you, I am so happy for sis. Please consider me your sis too, so if there is anything you ever need, you just ask" Sheli told Janet. "Absolutely, and it was a pleasure meeting you too. Your restaurant is the best and I know we will be eating here a lot," Janet told her back. "Well dear, you and Doni are always welcome" she replied back. She couldn't help but smile at how loving and cute the two looked together. Once back in the car, Janet took Donise in her arms and gave her a deep kiss and a tight hug. "I love you Donise, I am so happy you're my one, now let's hurry back home and let me show you how much". Home. Donise smiled at that. Yes, they were heading back home now. Their home. Together. She would never be alone again now that she found her long lost soulmate.
