A couple of hours later Nic woke up laying on her side pressed up
against Angel's back. She laid there enjoying the feel of Angel in her
arms. After a couple of minutes she got up and got dressed. Moving around
to the other side of the bed she stood there looking down at Angel

"It's all right. Anyways what's for dinner?"
"Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and cream-style corn, if that is
all right. Or I can make something else."
"No, that sounds good. How do I get to your place?"
"Meet me at the gas station next to the store and you can follow me
from there. Sound good to you? Just let me know when."
"Sounds good to me. How about as soon as I get dressed? Say in about
an hour?"
"That works out for me, I have to get dressed too."
"Ok, see you then. Bye."

After about 20 minutes they pulled into the driveway of Nic's house.
Getting out of her car, Angel looked around and saw a nice house and a

"How can you afford this? I can barely afford my apartment and my

"As long as you don't tell anybody at work, I'll tell you. Do I have
your word?" Nic asked.

"This place is were I grew up. My parents were killed in a car
accident when I was 19, I was left everything. This place, the insurance

parents, I'd trade it back in a heartbeat. After burying my parents I put
