A life long dream comes true

It was a hot sunny spring day was I walked a crossed campus.
The star fleet academy campus that is. I was the top of my class in my
year and already been a part of red squad a top team of cadets that took
command of a ship for training. Today I was walking toward the main
building wear all the admirals had there offices I knew I was to get my
post today. I also knew I was to see my idol admiral Janeway. I walked
down the cordador thinking on how I dreamed of this I have beep study
voyager ever sense they returned home 5 years ago. I fixed my short brown
hair with a comb and walked in.
The Admiral sat behind her desk looking seriously over some
pads and without looking up she motioned me to sit. She really looked
tired and worried on something. I looked around her office nice I thought
a few things from earlier earth were n the room like real books and so
on. She did not have a normal replicate in the corner and pictures of her
family she never did marry nor did she have kids. I thought what a shame
seeing she was engaged when she left earth.
"Ensign you are a signed first officer to seven of nine on
her ship the Raven flyer. You are to go survey this new planet we found
new the klingon home world." she said wavering me out. I ran back to my
corders and started to pack I knew I was to go today and wrote to all my
family. Before knew what had hit me. I was to work as first officer to
seven the one person I had a crush on for years. I was boosted up to
commander over night this was a dream come true.
Before long I was standing on the Raven flyer bridge watching
it is delocked from the air lock and so it is able to fly. The Captain at
my side. I could feel the tenchtion between us she looked amazing in her
command uniform. I looked over the latest reports and handed them to her
all of ok and in order thank god. I sat down in the commander's seat and
suddenly I felt the wait of my job more then ever this was not just
training but the real thing.
The first week went uneventful normal work and exploring the
stars for new planets. One night I was in our ships automatics lab that
is a recreation of voyagers. Doing scans the captain asked me to finish
sense I had some spare time. Seeing we only have a crew of 68 I was not
going to complain. When I found an M class planet with life on it. So I
sent an away team down and stayed on the bridge mentoring them and let
the captain know.
Turns out it was a nice people and we traded all went well.
Any way we learned a lot more about a new culture and over the next two
weeks the captain I noticed was making excuses to see me and talk to me.
Which I found to be odd but didn't say any thing. Then on day we were in
the neutral zone and the Romulens fired on us the ship was it and the
ship shook and the captain fell into my arms. She thanked me. Then we
went back to work.
A few days later I found flowers and a card in my corers
saying come to my corders I would like to talk to u 7. I immediately
changed clothes in to a clean uniform let the sonic showers particle over
my skin god I missed water. Then did as I was told. When I walked in she
was sitting on her couch listen to some sort of music from earth's ninth
century. She was in uniform and nodded as I entered and motion me to sit
next to her. I did and waited.
"Commander I have noticed that you have taken a likening to

About and hour later I got a message from star fleet it was
Admiral Paris telling me that we have been resigned to check the Klingon
home world seeing we were the closest ship. I couldn't believe it at
all. Paris also said he would send a similar message to the captain. I
did some more research on the latest news on the Klingon Empire. When my
door bell range.
Come in I said shutting off my desk computer, it was my best
friend Rose Wood walked in. She was in her chief engineer uniform and
just got off dueity. She has this black hair that flows down her back

looked at me I smiled and told her, I would see her tomorrow. Then walked
to the turbo lift and took it to the Captains deck and walked in.

it because there is not one on recorded like it. Seven went into her
ready room to review the data and left me on the bridge. A young sexy red

I then walked in to the ready room seven was sitting there
with pads in front of her. She didn't look up from her work. So I turned
to leave when she spoke." Commander order a senor staff meeting in the
beefing room.
A few minutes later I was sitting in my normal place at the
table with her rambling about some planet in the nova that she wants to
check. We made all the plans to however, little did we know we were going
to get sucked in to it and thrown into the delta quadrant like Admiral
Janeway was and in Borg space no less. Great I thought here comes action
and we are just a tiny science ship.
That was when I remind her about our reassignment and told
her that I didn't think we had time to check out the nova. It was to my
regret I said this I would have loved to find out how it worked or should
I say formed.
I ran down to the astronautics lab and studied sensor scans
trying to figure out how we landed here. Admiral Janeway was threw the
care taker how is it we are when she destroyed the caretakers array? I
must have worked for two hours when I was called to engineering for a
look and second option on firing the engines.
"So Wood what do we have?" I asked as I looked over a few
reports a Ensign handed me and it looked grim. Rose wood continued her
work. Then I was knocked off balance. I grabbed for the wall. "Captain
what was that?" I asked over the combage.
"Sorry commander but we just turned around to head to the
Klingon home world. We are at warp six now should be arriving there with
in four hours." She said in that sexy voice of hers I just loved to
listen to her. Wood mean while recovered and got up from the floor her

asked I nodded and we walked out of engineering to the ships mess hall.

and longed to be back on earth. Rose came over with a bowl of some alien
soup. "God Rebecca you eat like we are still at the academy." She said

We ate and talked about the latest singers and ships news and
work. Everything was like it always was until she started to look right
at me and ask me some thing that I never exspeted."So Rebecca what is up
with you and the captain?" she said.
Shock written all over my face, I didn't know how to answer this
question at all seven said not to say so that is what I was about to do.
Although I knew she would see right past it. "Going on nothing is going
on."
"Yeah ok so that is why you sweat when ever you are near her or day
dream. You acted the same way with Ryeanna your Klingon ex girl friend.
Besides I know you have had a crush on her before you met her you told
me." She said with a smile on her face. I didn't say a world I
couldn't she knew I knew she knew she was right and that ended it.
`So you up for a game up b balll?" I said finishing dinner. She nodded
and we rushed off to the hallow deck for a game or two. We were in the
middle of our second when the captain herself walked in. She looked at me
as I made a basket. "Captain you want to joint us?" I asked. Thinking
she would say no but she took the ball from me and she made a few hoops.
Then I remember reading how she was trying new sports and actives before
leaving the academy. The Captain was a well watched person on earth no
Borg had ever gone back to human before besides John Luke Pacared. Then
she looked at her chief engineer." Thank you Miss Wood but we must be
going now. Then lead me out of the hallow deck.
"Seven what the fuck was that I wanted to play with my friend?" I asked
as we walked the halls of the ship. She pushed me into the wall and pined
me down so I couldn't move. I thought about calling for help but decided
to see how this would go. "Well I want you in my bed now!" She said
walking towards the turbo lift.
Seeing I wanted the same thing I didn't argue at all and I didn't leave
