Amy mumbled to herself as she put on some pants and a t-shirt. "aren't you getting dressed?" "no, i'll just get into the covers" "okay, just try to look less sexy" Amy said with a grin. All the while, it sounded like the person who had previously knocked was still outside. Amy unlocked the door then opened it slightly to reveal the figure of Megan, their friend. "ah, its just you" Amy sighed. "who did you expect, Jason?" Kim and Megan burst into laughter to the displeasure of Amy. The three had recently seen a Jason horror movie which Amy found to be very scary. Megan was one of the first people Amy and Kim knew when they just got into college. She was your typical college girl who loved parting, booze and not suprisingly boys. She was in the room just next to Amy and Kim's. "what was going on in here, i heard screaming" "we were just playing around" Amy defended as she ushered Megan in. "well that explains the messed up hair" a relieved Megan replied. "whats new?" Kim asked as she projected herself onto her elbows taking caution to stay under the covers. "i couldn't find my hair brush may i use one of yours?" "sure" Amy said as she went over to the little table between the two beds where they kept their make up kits and other stuff. "will this do?" "thanx that will be perfect." before she left, Megan noticed how Kim was tightly snuggled up in her bed. She farther noticed that there were no straps on Kim's shoulders, its either she was wearing something strapless or she was half naked. "whatever" she thought. "i'll see you guys later, i have a date this afternoon." "later" Amy and Kim shouted back in unison. Amy locked the door after Megan's departure then went to smuggle up with Kim. Before long they were kissing each other lightly breaking every now and then to breath. Between kisses, Kim spoke out in a serious tone, "Amy, lets tell Megan" "are you sure?" "not really but i think it would be better if atleast we told someone, we owe it to her, she tells us everything." "hon, lets not rush it, lets take some time to think this through" "i think of all people she will understand, besides, am sure she already suspects something" "lets just see how it goes, when the opportunity presents itself, we'll tell her" as Amy was finishing up her sentence, she pressed her lips gently on Kim's. Before long, her tongue was pressing for access into its second home, Kim's mouth. As soon as the kiss had started, Kim broke it off. "what about your mother?" "oh yeah, i forgot to tell you, i plan on going home next weekend. Wanna come with?" "why not, its been long since we visited home" -o0o- The week had gone by rather quickly for the two love birds. They were not looking forward to the conversation with Karen but they knew it was something they had to get out of the way. Other than that the trip home was exactly what the doctor ordered to catch a break from college life. Friday afternoon, the two girls packed a few things and set off on the hour drive in Amy's little Mazda. Due to traffic though, it took even longer to her home. They pulled up at Kim's house first so as delay seeing Karen for a little while longer. They were greeted at the door by Amy's father, who had a big smile on his face. He had noticed Amy's car as they were parking. "why didn't you say you were coming, i would have atleast done something special for you" "we wanted it to be a surprise," Kim stated with as equally a big smile on her face as her dad's. "Joseph come see who has come!" moments later, 11 year old Joe, Amy's cousin came down from his room. As soon as he saw the two girls, he ran to them with excitement. "come here and give me a hug" Kim said to her cousin. Joseph's father was the younger brother to Kim's Father. Unfortunately he and his wife had died a couple of years ago therefore, Kim's father took responsibility of Joe. "Amy, what did you bring for me?" Joe asked. "i have some candy for you remind me to give you after supper" Joseph thanked Kim then ran off to his room again. Kim chuckled knowing that Joe was going back to his video games. He was only allowed to play it on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. "Where is mom?" Kim asked. "she is with Karen" Kim's dad said,"come to think of it, she has been going over to Karen's quite a lot in the past week" Amy and Kim looked at each other in dismay, what if their mothers had discussed their 'involvement'. The girls excused themselves and went upstairs. "what if mom knows?" Kim said in horror. Even though she knew she would have to tell her parents someday, she was not yet prepared. "come down Kim everything will be alright. We are not even sure about anything yet. Come on, lets get ready for supper."
