Subject: basketball

Having came out to her parent's that she is gay . Them yelling and saying
that they don't agree with that kind of life style . The only saving grace
she has is a scholorship to play ball at a major uni. clear across the
country .

Packing all she could into the back of her SUV , Jenn headed hopefully
toward's a new start on life . After three day's pulling onto campus
finding registration , them heading over to the athletic's dorm . Seeing
all kind's of people walking inside , being a freshman knowing she'd be
roomed up with a upper classman . Finding her room going inside seeing the
only empty bed a note laying on it .

Hi . Roomie I had to go pick up some stuff from the store . I'll be back
later , get settled in and we will learn much about eachother later.

Thinking at least she seem's nice . Unloading her gear geting everything
put away hearing the door open turning , taking a quick breath seeing the
prettiest woamn standing there. Trying not to stare taking in her blond
hair , sky blue eye's and the curves of that body .

" Hi , I'm Kara sorry I wasn't here when you came in , where are you from
and what sport , I'm on the swim team ". Holding out her hand for a welcome
shake.

"Hi , I'm Jenny , I'm from Texas and i play basketball " shaking her hand
feeling how soft they are , breaking the hold .

Seeing her reaction " Oh , you know you are treated like goddesses around
here , like there isn't any other sport on campus". Her temper getting the
better of her realizing she hardly know's this person taking out her
frustration's on her " look I'm sorry for sounding harsh it's just that ,
you all pack the house every night you have a game , while we hardly have
twenty people in the stand's ".

Chosing her word's carefully " I can't say I understand how you feel , but
I've never been to a swim meet and would like to come watch one . I can't
say how my teammate's are I hardly know any of them , every one has their
little group's for hanging out like every sport do'es". Getting frustrated
looking at the floor.

"I hope we can be friend's Kara , honestly basketball is the only thing
going right in my life , I don't party ,drink or do drug's so you won't
have to worry about me disturbing you any all I want is to enjoy my time
here ". turning finishing unpacking fighting back the tear's stinging her
eye's.

The week's that followed were busy between practice and studies , having no
social life . The libary was Jenny's second place to stay most her free
time was spent there studying . Talking with Kara often both getting used
to being around eachother , gradually becoming friend's . Realizing Kara
was right hardly no one show's up from the swim meet's . Jenny alway's
sitting high in the stand's so Kara doesn't know she's there , gradually
falling for her roommate having to hide her growing feeling's.

Arriving back at the dorm's from being gone playing away games . No one in
the hall's at three am . Quietly entering her room , eye's adjusting to the
darkness . Seeing two bodie's in Kara's bed realizing seeing Kara roll over
seeing a girl in bed with her. Quietly leaving going down to the lounge ,
plopping down on the couch .Leaning her head back , her heart hurting
finally realizing Kara has a girlfriend.

Wakeing up seeing Jenn's bag's laying on her bed but she's no where in
sight . Not hearing her come in during the night , slowly getting up trying
not to disturbe her sister. Looking eveywhere finally finding her sleeping
on the small sofa . Crouching down beside her , stroking her arm and cheek
so wanting to kiss those soft lip's . Watching her stir under her touch ,
her eye's opening slowly , whispering " come to bed , you look cramped
laying here " .

Trying to find her voice raspy from sleep ' I didn't want to disturbe you
two" , not looking into her eye's knowing she would know the real reason .

" Oh , you mean my sister , she showed up yesterday , and i knew you would
be in late and so she slept in my bed instead of your's". Smiling knowing
the reason , " Jenn um...". her trailing off not being able to finish .

Taking her hand giving it a soft squeeze looking up into her eye's both
afraid to say what's on their mind's.

" I'm sorry i assumed your girlfriend was sleeping over and i didn't want
to disturbe you ", raising up slowly her body aching from being cramped up
on the small sofa .

" Are you ok , I can give you a back rub to work out the kink's , oh and
Jenn if I did have a girlfriend you would be the first to know" . Smilling
down at her hoping she understand's what she mean's .

" Thank's for offering but I think I better just get into bed ". Jenn said
softly . Her eye's traveling over Kara's body , seeing her hard nipples
through her white t-shirt and smooth leg's . Raising her eye's seeing her
with a smirk on her face , blushing red .

" See something you want all you have to do is ask and it's your's it
alway's has been Jenn ". Finally telling her roommate her true feeling's
knowing they both want the same.

Looking deeply inot her eye's seeing the truth leaning over placing a soft
kiss upon her lip's .Pulling back " not here not like this , when does you
sister leave" . Jenn asking with a sense of urgency.
