the author doesn't mind) Well i hope you enjoy this next part

Chapter 10
Sloane again woke to whispers a few hours later, but to Sloane's
relief they came not from her sleeping partner, but from her two other
friends. Also relieving was the fact that Sloane and Nic had moved again
during the night, and were now spooning, which was slightly less
discomforting than the previous position they had been in. Sloane looked
up as Alexa and Gen walked by, and they stopped and apologized for waking
her, a few minutes later they were out the door and off to class. Sloane
figuring that it was too early to be awake after such a crazy late night
sank back into slumber.

Nic woke around 11:20 feeling quite warm, content, and spooning
with Sloane; she had had an erotic dream that involved Sloane and herself,
but she couldn't quite remember what it had been about. `Hmm' she thought,
`I could get used to waking up with Sloane like this. Her hair smells
nice' she thought as she inhaled Sloane's scent. Nic clasped Sloane a
little closer and just held her loving the feel of Sloane's body against
her own. About ten minutes later Nic looked at the clock on the VCR and
noticed the time she lightly whispered "Sloane, honey, wake up. I need to
take you home so you can get ready for class."

Sloane just scooted her body further into Nic's and quietly groaned
"Five more minutes, mom."

Nic chuckled softly into her ear "Sloane, I'm not your mother. I
hope you don't sleep like this with her."

Sloane slowly turned, and looked sleepily at Nic, then bolted up
stammering indignantly, "Of c-c-c-course I d-d-don't!"

"Hey settle down, I was only kidding, no need to go all rain man on
me." Nic said, while sitting up, trying to soothe Sloane.

"S-s-sorry, when I get n-n-nervous or embarrassed I tend to
st-t-tutter. It used t-t-to be worse but I underwent therapy and can
control it most of the time."

"Hey I'm sorry I didn't realize. Forgive me?" Nic asked.

"Yeah no problem. You didn't know, and its not like I go around
announcing that I have a speech impediment. Just give me a few minutes and
then we can go, okay?" Sloane said as she calmed down and got up from the
couch.

"Yeah take your time." Nic said while she was thinking `I am the
biggest idiot! Way to go Nic, the girls go especially wild when you make
fun of their problems. Why don't you go make fun of someone in a
wheelchair now and later you can kick some puppies, that'll go over well!'

Sloane came back in a few minutes, with her clothes from last night
on, her hair in a ponytail, and looking freshly scrubbed but slightly
rumpled, the whole effect was cute to say the least. Nic offered Sloane
some breakfast, and she was munching on some dry toast and waiting for Nic
to return from brushing her teeth. Sloane was thinking about last night
and wondered if Nic knew what had happened during their sleep.

Nic returned, and drank some juice while Sloane finished her toast. They
left the apartment and walked to the garage area, where they passed a
number of cars, then stopped in front of a motorcycle, a blue and white
Kawasaki Ninja to be exact.

"Oh my god you own a motorcycle? That is so cool. I find
motorcycles soo sexy, and I've always wanted one, but my parents won't let
me get one." Sloane said excitedly as Nic smiled and handed her a helmet.

"Well you know it's the only way to travel around school. It's
cheap, and there is always parking. The only bad thing is in winter you
can't drive it, but I love my baby. Gen has one as well but hers is green,
blue and white." Nic responded and put her own helmet on.

Nic quickly mounted the bike, started it, and waited for Sloane to
climb on behind and situate herself properly, before roaring off to
Sloane's apartment. Less than five minutes later they arrived, and Nic
parked. Sloane slid the helmet off of her head and smiled at the blonde
and enthusiastically said, "That was cool, thanks a lot. Do you mind if I
get my roommate and show her your bike? She loves motorcycles too."

"No problem. Feel free to get her."

"Oh come on Nic! Come with me to get her," the brunette pleaded
while pulling on Nic's hand.

"Okay, okay. I'm coming. Let me just put the helmets on the
bike."

"Nope, come on!" Sloane said as she pulled Nic towards her
apartment with both of them holding onto a helmet. Sloane briefly let go
of Nic's hand to unlock the door, but went right back to grasping it when
she managed to open it. Nic was dragged into the apartment while Sloane
called out her roommate's name, they both set down the helmets. Sloane
didn't receive a response; she then proceeded to Lindsay's room to find
her, while towing Nic behind. The brunette looked into her roomie's space,
but only saw piles of clothing and an unmade bed.

"Hmm, I guess she's at class. Oh well, I suppose she can see your
bike later."

"Yeah don't worry I plan on spending a lot of time with you, so she
is bound to see me and my bike sometime." Nic assured Sloane. "So, can I
see the rest of your place or what?"

Sloane proceeded to show Nic the kitchen, the living area which
they had breezed through earlier, the bathroom, and then ended the tour by
showing her own room.

"Wow this is really nice!" Nic said earnestly as she gazed at
Sloane's room.

There were posters of various artists and musical talents all over;
Sloane's tastes were extremely eclectic and her posters showed this. There
were posters of Van Gough's, Dali's, Picasso's (from his cubist and blue
period), and even Rivera's work. She also had posters of Britney Spears,
Incubus, The Cranberries, Zebrahead, Audioslave, Michelle Branch, and a few
others that Nic had trouble identifying. Also on the walls were tons of
pictures of Sloane with her family and friends. Nic couldn't help but
wonder if some of the people in the pictures were Sloane's ex's. Her walls
also had various stolen street signs, and an exceptionally well done oil
painting along the line of Van Gough's work. Nic stepped closer and
noticed the name of the artist was S. Charvat.

"Hey who painted this? I want one too, it's really cool." Nic questioned
Sloane.

"Oh you really like it, you're not just saying that are you?"

"No way. If I think art is ugly I will say it, but I really like this. It
kind of looks like a Van Gough, but there is a definite difference in the
style and strokes that makes it completely unique." Nic explained, and
then contritely said "Sorry I took a lot of art classes, so whenever I see
something I tend to evaluate it."

"No not at all. And by the way I will tell the artist that you liked it.
Maybe I can ask her to paint you one."

"Great" Nic said passionately as she finished perusing the rest of Sloane's
room: a Sony VAIO laptop on a desk, a nightstand, two beanbags, a closet,
and a queen size bed covered with pillows with drawers underneath it.
"This is a really nice set up" Nic reiterated, as she sleepily yawned and
sat on the bed.

"Thanks, I like it. Especially the bed because it's so big and
comfortable."

"Mmmm, comfortable" Nic repeated as she descended upon the pillows.

Soon the blonde was asleep. Sloane thought she looked so adorable in her
bed right then that she decided to let Nic nap until she had to leave.
Sloane continued to get ready by taking a shower, changing, and doing her
hair and makeup, even as Nic slumbered on. Sloane decided that the blonde
must be tremendously tired after taking care of her the previous night (and
she didn't want the girl to get into any accidents on the way home) that
she decided to let the older girl snooze on. The brunette figured she
would be back in an hour anyways. Sloane wrote a note and left it on the
bed beside Nic, kissed the girl's forehead (to which Nic smiled at in her
sleep), and went to class.

Chapter 11
Lindsay returned to her townhouse around 2:00, she struggled
briefly with the lock and let herself in while muttering curses at the
door. As she entered into the living area, she noticed two motorcycle
helmets on the sofa

`That's odd' she thought, then out loud asked, "Hey Sloane, whose helmets
are these?" as she walked towards Sloane's room.

The door to Sloane's room was closed, so she lightly rapped on the door.
The short blonde was greeted by silence, so she quickly and quietly turned
the handle and peeked in.

"Sloane? Oh!" Lindsay hastily shut the door. `Was that a girl in Sloane's
bed?' She peeked in again, and saw Nic sleeping deeply on the bed hugging
Sloane's body pillow. `Oh my god, it is! Wow Sloane sure works fast, she
kind of looks like that Nic girl.' Lindsay thought, at the same time she
walked a little closer to get a better look. `I knew they were going out
last night but I didn't think that this would happen so soon! I really
didn't think Sloane would do anything on the first date, there must be a
good explanation for this.' It was then that Lindsay noticed the note
propped up on the bed. She stealthily picked up the note and quickly read
it

Nic,

Sorry I didn't wake you up, I figured you were really tired after taking
care of me last night, so I decided to let you sleep. I'll be home in an
hour or so, but my roommate should be home soon, so if you want to leave
feel free to do so. If you do, I want to say thanks for dropping me off
this morning, and I look forward to our movie date tomorrow.

Kisses, Sloane

P.S. I liked sleeping with you last night, you were really comfortable : )

At the last sentence Lindsay's eyes opened a little wider. She put the
note back in its original spot. `Well that explains something' Linds
thought as she silently crept out of the room `But now I need all the
details!' and she continued to her room to await her roomie.

******************
Sloane had been let out of class early since it was a recitation,
and there was nothing to be taught, what with it being the first week of
class. She hurried home, and entered the apartment. The second she
stepped in the house Lindsay practically pounced and started bombarding her
with questions.

"So did you have fun last night? When did you come home? I didn't
hear you come in last night. What's with the motorcycle helmets? And why
is Nic in your bed half naked?"

"Whoa hold on a sec! What ever happened to `Hey Sloane, what's
up?' huh missy?"

"Hey Sloane, what's up with you and Nic?"

"I guess that's close enough." Sloane sighed, nervously rubbing her
fingers across her nose. "Nothing has happened yet. Okay mother!? I mean
we haven't even kissed yet. I don't just sleep with someone on the first
date, and I'm not even sure last night was even a date."

"I see, well then why is she in your bed right now?"

"Well she drove me home this morning on her motorcycle, that's why
there are helmets in our living room by the way, and I gave her a tour of
our place. She must have been beat, because she just fell asleep on my
bed. And I didn't want to wake her up because she took care of me last
night. That and she looks so good in my bed." Sloane finished sexily.

Lindsay laughed a little and said, "Yes she does look pretty cute
like that. Man if I was into girls I would have hopped right in with her.
Ha kidding Sloane, I would never steal anyone you were interested in."
Lindsay quickly finished when Sloane gave her a mock glare. "So why don't
you go wake sleeping beauty up now and I will make some lunch; how do
sandwiches sound?"

"I don't know, it depends on what kind; if it's a ham or bologna
then I think it would oink, and a turkey one would gobble, and if it was
a..." Sloane continued laughing.

"Oh lord, get out of here!" Lindsay interrupted, and pushed her
roommate towards her bedroom.

Sloane opened the door and softly tiptoed into the room. She sat
down on the bed slowly, next to the sleeping blonde, and lightly whispered
"Nic? Wake up. Time for lunch." There was no movement from the
fair-haired girl. Sloane moved closer and gently pushed her a little, no
response. `Damn this girl is a heavy sleeper. Well obviously, I mean she
didn't wake up when you were practically assaulting her last night! Hmm
maybe some water sprinkled on her face will wake her up.' Sloane thought
and leaned over Nic to get the glass of water she always kept by her
bedside.

It was then that Nic, who had been awake since before the door had opened,
decided to pull Sloane down on top of her, as a joke. Sloane tumbled onto
the blonde; their faces were a couple of inches away and the brunette was
looking into Nic's smirking face.

"Hey beautiful, what took you so long?"

"Nic! How long have you been awake?"

"For awhile now, enough time to read your note and just hang in your room
for a bit. I thought I would wait to see what you would do to wake me up.
Sadly you weren't doing what I thought you would." Nic sighed.

"Oh really, and what were you hoping I would do?" Sloane whispered
huskily, while her face moved closer to Nic's.

Nic swallowed deeply then opened her mouth to answer, but was
caught off guard when Sloane swooped down and took her lips. They both let
out groans of desire as they finally made the contact they had been
mutually craving since they first met. Nic clutched Sloane's shoulders,
crushing their mouths together. Sloane sensuously licked the blonde's full
lower lip, which elicited another deep moan from her, then plunged her
tongue into Nic's mouth. Her tongue was met by another and they caressed
each other thoroughly. Nic's hands had moved from the Sloane's shoulders,
and had twined themselves into her silky hair, while the brunette's hands
traveled down Nic's firm torso.

`Mmmm, she tastes so good...this seems so familiar...oh my god
its almost exactly like my dream!' Sloane thought then stopped thinking
when her hands finally connected with Nic's soft skin.

Nic whimpered again, breaking the contact between their lips, as
they both panted for air. Sloane quickly kissed her way down Nic's jaw and
continued kissing till she reached her velvety neck; her lips and teeth
hungrily latched onto the creamy skin she found there. Sloane had just
clamped down, when she heard Lindsay calling to them.

"Hey girls, lunch is ready. What's taking so long?" The tiny
blonde cried out, her voice increasing in volume; she was right outside the
door!

"Oh shit!" Sloane exclaimed, pushing herself quickly off of Nic.

At the loss of Sloane Nic growled in disappointment. Then sighed
and tried to make herself look presentable in the next few seconds before a
curious Lindsay opened the door. As the blonde looked in she noticed
Sloane was practically halfway across the room, with her hair mussed and a
suspicious flush to her skin, while Nic was adjusting her tank and had an
interesting looking bruise blooming on her neck. Linds chuckled lightly
and said "Hey Nic, nice to see you again. Hope I didn't interrupt anything
Sloane, but you were taking too long to wake up sleeping beauty, so I came
to see if you guys were all right. I take it everything is okay? Well
come on ladies the sandwiches aren't getting any better!" Chapter 12
Lunch went by at a leisurely pace since all three of the girls were
done with school for the day, and in no rush to do anything else. They
talked about what they had done the previous evening. Lindsay and her
boyfriend Eric had gone out to dinner then went to his place and had
watched movies for a bit.

"Not the most exciting thing to do I know, but I think Eric and I
have gotten past the go out and party all the time stage. I believe we are
now entering the stay at home by ourselves stage, because we feel much more
comfortable with each other now. What do you guys think? You don't think
we've entered the cheapskate, lame ass, boring old "married couple" stage
do you?" Lindsay questioned.

"No, settle down I think it's the first one. You know Eric has
matured a lot since you guys have been dating. I think you are really good
for him. I mean I have known Eric since we were in elementary school; he
is my best friend and all, but the major problem was that he was an
immature child. He's still a joker, but only when its appropriate." Sloane
replied with a grin.

Lindsay smiled. Nic questioned a second later, "So is that how you
two met? Through Eric?"

"No actually I met Eric through Sloane. See, Sloane was my
friend's roommate last year, and I met her first. We really hit it off,
and now she is one of my best friends. But anyways, yeah so we spent a lot
of time together, and of course I met Eric a few times, and we flirted
heavily. Finally he asked me out, and we have been dating ever since! But
enough about me, so how was last night?"

"It was fun and interesting." Nic responded, "But I hope we have a
great time tomorrow night as well."

"Oh yeah? What are you ladies planning on doing?"

"Well I thought we would do something traditional, like dinner and
a movie, but then I remembered that the art museum has a great exhibit so I
was wondering if you would like to do dinner and the museum?" Nic asked
Sloane.

"That sounds great!" Sloane said eagerly.

"Great! How about I pick you up around 7:30, and you choose the
restaurant. Okay? Anywhere you want to go. But I think it's time I went
home, I haven't showered today, and I should do some homework before I go
into class tomorrow. Thanks for the lunch Lindsay it was delicious."

"Not a problem. Lindsay said cheerily, "Oh before you go Nic,
could I see your bike?"

"Yeah sure, come on out." Nic said as she grabbed both of the
helmets.

All three girls headed out to the parking area, and stood around
for a few minutes discussing the motorcycle. "Wow this is awesome, Eric
would flip if he saw this. Maybe you could give me a ride sometime?"
Lindsay inquired.

"I'm sure I could." Nic said as she slid her helmet on, and
tightened the strap; she had already stowed away the other helmet securely.

"Sweet! I'm gonna go call Eric and brag, see ya later Nic."
Lindsay said and hurried off to phone her boyfriend.

"Hmm, and then there were two." Nic drawled, "Why so quiet Sloane?"

"Oh no reason, I was just wondering when that girl would leave us
alone so I could say good bye to you properly. But then you had to go ruin
it by putting your helmet on." Sloane said while slightly pouting.

"You know, I can take the helmet off."

"No, no that's fine, you run along now I will see you later."
Sloane said teasingly and turned to leave.

Nic ripped off her helmet, then grabbed Sloane's arm, and turned
her and pulled her closer into her slightly taller frame. "Not so fast
hun, I believe there was something you wanted to give me before I left?
And I'm sorry to say that if I don't get it then I might not come get a
certain someone for a date tomorrow." Nic gruffly whispered onto Sloane's
parted lips, which were less than an inch from her own.

"We wouldn't want that..." Sloane trailed off and pressed her
lips to Nic's. Unlike the first kiss they had shared, this was much softer
but no less consuming. The two girls slowly explored each others mouths,
with darting, stroking tongues, only parting when some passersby's honked
their horn and shouted out the windows "Holy shit that is hot! Turn
around!" The two broke apart laughing breathlessly.

"Well that was interesting. I would really love to finish this,
but I don't want to give those guys another little peep show." Nic chuckled
as she slid her helmet back on, and started her bike.

"Good point. I guess we can finish this later sometime. Be
forewarned I have every intention of finishing this." Sloane said with a
wicked little smile on her face. "See you tomorrow." Sloane finished, and
walked away leaving a smiling and slightly stunned Nic on her purring
cycle.

Chapter 13
Nic sat doing her homework when the phone rang. Nic heaved a sigh
of relief, that damn math homework was trying her patience, and she
welcomed the respite.

"Hello...Mom, its good to hear from you...Yeah we're
fine...No Alexa and Gen aren't here, they're at class still, wait I think
I hear the door opening. Yup it's them hold on a sec. Hey girls mom is on
the line, she wants to say hi to her favorite girl, and of course Gen too."

"Ha very funny brat!" Gen said as she blew a raspberry in her
sister's direction.

"Hey mom!" Alexa answered the phone "Yeah we are having a
blast...School is school, so it's okay...Oh yeah we are making tons of
friends in class and everything, but I'm surprised Nic hasn't told you
about her new friend...Oh you can ask her later, but anyways Gen is
getting impatient so I'll let you talk to her."

"Mom, what's up? No, don't ask me about her new girlfriend, but
from the curious looking discoloration on her neck, I would have to say its
going well. Anywho, how is daddy? Good...What about Gizmo? Awww no he
didn't...Wow I can't wait to see his new trick...Everything else going
alright at home? How is my boy Ed doing? Tell him I miss him, can't wait
to see everyone...I think we are coming home in a few weeks...Yes, yes
I'll bring Lexa if I can...don't ask me ask her. Geez mom, here she is,
bye luv ya lots." Gen said while handing the phone over to her twin.

"...Well sorry I didn't mention her, but I talked to you for all
of two seconds, and then you just had to talk to your other girls. I don't
know why you didn't just call their cells...Oh I see. Yes well her name
is Sloane and she is just incredible. She is funny, smart, and
cute...Yeah she really is the whole package...What? You want me to ask
her to come home with me, after only a few weeks? I guess I could. I'll
ask her in a week, when she has gotten to know me better...Okay I'll tell
them...Love you too mom, say hi to dad, Gizmo, Ed and of course
Midnight." Nic hung up the phone, and was instantly attacked with
questions.

"Nice hicky Nicky, who gave it to you?" Alexa rhymed.

"So how far did you two love birds get? Hmm was it all the way?
And if so how was she?" Gen spouted out.

"Shut up Gen! All we did was kiss and make out a little. Sloane
isn't like that! Even if she was I want to wait with her, and make it
special. I don't want to just jump her; I want to make it really unique."
Nic defended her new passion.

"Sorry, I know she means a lot to you. I was just playing."

"I know, it's just, you know..." Nic finished.

"Yeah I know. Well then, who wants lunch? I am starved, how about
you baby?" Gen asked her girl.

"I'm a little peckish. What about you Nicola?" Alexa questioned
the mirror image of her girlfriend.

"Umm no I'm fine. I already ate with Sloane and her roommate
Lindsay."

"That's cool. Just wondering though, was that before or after the
hicky?" Gen laughed.

"You're such a dork! I'm gonna study in my room." and Nic walked
towards the back of the apartment as the other two headed towards the
kitchen.
