   ....As soon as Amy woke up,she found herslf lying beside the two
females. She looked around the unfamiliar room,lying on the soft bed,all
cuddled up against the other. Amy slowly slipped out of their arms, trying
not to wake them,and got up to her feet. She took her clothes into the
other room and got dressed. Amy held back one curtain glanced out the
window. "It's night.." she thought to herself..."What would mom do if she
found out?"

   "Found out what?" she heard a soft voice whisper....she noticed it
quickly....it was Rachel.  "...What I was doing tonight...I only told her
that I was here to study,not be here all night." Amy said.  "Call her
up...tell her that you'll be sleeping over." Rachel whispered as she
wrapped her arms around Amy's waist.  "I would,but she's probably asleep or
something." Amy said.  "Maybe...so what are you going to do?" Rachel
whispered.  "I'll just sneak back into my house..I don't know how,but I'll
find out some way." Amy said.  Rachel went quiet for a moment,and then said
"Really? I think it's too risky...why don't you just stay here tonight and
tell your mom you were too sleepy to go home? I'm sure she'll understand."
"What if she's worried about me?" Amy said in a faint whisper. "...And then
I can't come back over here...she might think I was kidnapped or
something,or think I'm irrisponsible and won't trust me again."  Rachel
nodded and said "If you're sure leaving is for the best,then do so...I
don't want to lose you,so do what you think is best."  Amy grinned at
Rachel "Thanks",Amy said,kissed Rachel softly and walked toward the
door,giving Rachel a big hug on her way out. As Amy closed the door behind
her,Rachel's mom walked up to Rachel and wrapped her arms around Rachel's
shoulders. "Do you think she'll come back?",Rachel said. "By the way she
was moaning and fingering,I'm sure she will...", her mom replied.....

     Amy walked in the dark,down the streets,on the sidewalk...only having
the aid of streetlights uncovering the path. She didn't know exactly how
far away her house was...and she was still thinking about how she was going
to sneak in. Amy looked at her watch. "1:04am" she said to herself.
Thinking about how she was going to come out to her mom like this if she
got caught,she flipped through excuses in her head,her mind,filling with
thoughts...Scared that she would never be able to show her face to her mom
again... She passed down four blocks before she saw a house that looked
exactly like hers. She walked up the driveway,not knowing what to
expect. She saw that the lights weren't on and that gave her a better
chance of getting in. She felt around in her pocket,and pulled out her
house key. Amy pushed the key in,slowly opened the door and walked
in,trying not to make a noise.  She saw her mom lying asleep on the
couch,wondering how long she's been sleeping there as she shut the
door,locked it,and slowly walked up the stairs to her room. She took off
her clothes,put on her nightgown,and curled up into her covers,she wasnt
sleepy,rather,she was scared...about everything that happened those past
few days...and wondered what more could happen to her....

     The next day,she woke up,got dressed and walked down the stairs when
her mom called her before she left. "I'm so sorry,but I happened to fall
asleep on the couch while u were gone,I'm so sorry that I didn't come and
pick you up. I hope you got a ride back or something; Oh,and your father
went away on a business trip,he won't be back for a month."  her mom
said. "It's okay,mom,cool" Amy said,as she hugged her mom,got her backpack
and headed out the door. Amy walked to school,sighing in relief,and glad
her mom didnt know what really happened,or even know that she was gone so
long.

     Amy finally got to school and then the bell rang. She piled her other
textbooks into her locker as she had done the past few days,and then
hurried to her next class. She walked into Mrs. Weston's class, walked down
the aisle to her desk,and as she walked past Rachel,she saw Rachel flashing
a small,folded up note. Amy quicky grabbed it as she sat down in her desk
behind Rachel's. Amy tried to hide the note,because she knew it was against
rules,and if she were caught,Mrs. Weston would take the note and read it
out loud to the class,and that was bad,especially when Amy had no idea what
the note said. Amy opened up her textbook and unfolded the note between the
pages of the book,so that nobody could see that she had a note. She opened
up the folded paper,and in red ink,it had neatly-written cursive writing:
"...About last night,I wanna do it again."  Amy froze. She was blushing in
a deep red as Mrs. Weston was talking. Mrs.  Weston happened to glance over
at Amy while her face was red and her head buried in the
textbook. "Amy..are you okay?" Mrs. Weston said. Amy,blushing, frozen,and
totally speechless,softly muttered a few words in a quiet voice, "Yes
ma'am..I'm fine...I just hapened to read a very touching paragraph in this
textbook." Amy then turned silent. She didn't have anything to say,she
coultn't think. She heard some of the class giggling. "Okay.." Mrs. weston
said, as she went back to teaching the lesson. Rachel looked back at Amy
and winked, then turned back around. As if the minutes of class turned into
mere seconds,the bell seemed to ring sooner than she'd thought,and it was
time for her second class.

     Second...third...forth...her classes seemed to fly by her as all she
could do was fantasize instead of concentrate on her work...lunch was yet
to come...

     "Hey,Amy! Come on over here!!!" she heard when she walked through the
cafeteria doors...she'd gotten used to the voice...it was...Rachel. Amy was
scared and embarassed of what had happened that last night,and wondering,
if anyone else knew about it. Would Rachel tell? Would her social life come
crashing down the next day? These thoughts raged through her head as she
walked over to sit by Rachel.

   "Hey girl!" Rachel said in a cheerful voice,as if nothing happened the
night before...or that note. "Hey." Amy replied. They both looked at each
other for a few seconds,as if messages were telegraphically passed through
their eyes to one another. "If you don't mind..." Amy said. "...I'd like to
keep what we did last night a secret." she added. "Yeah,same here." Rachel
said. "Ok then." Amy said as she smiled in relief. Suddenly,everyone seemed
to be looking at them... Was it something I said? Did they hear me? The two
girls thought as everyone started to giggle. Amy looked over at another
student and asked "Why are they all laughing at me?". "Didn't you and
Rachel have sex last night?" He said. Amy froze..."Did Rachel tell???" she
thought to herself. Rachel just looked at the student and then at Amy,who
was trying to hold back some of her tears. "No." Amy said. "We're just

way,how did he know what we did last night?" Rachel looked over at Amy,

as she looked back down. "I know...I don't blame you for hating me now..."
Amy said as took her arm off of Rachel and looked down at the
ground. Rachel looked up at Amy,lifted up her chin and said "Amy...I could
never hate you...". "But I hurt you...I deserve to be hated." said Amy.  "I
know,but,even if I tried,I'd never be able to hate you." said Rachel.  "In
fact...I think I...I...love you." said Rachel. "I actually liked last
night,I loved it..." Amy interrupted. Amy looked over at Rachel,and reaized
what she just said. "You do?" said Amy in a suprised voice. "Yes..." said
Rachel. "I do..." Rachel added as she smiled at Amy. The two girls looked
at each other for minutes that seemed like seconds,and broke out into a
long, passionate kiss. Another girl walked into the restroom and saw the

could look up and stop her. She heard the girl screaming about her and

down the street.

     "Okay,what do we do now?" Rachel said as she sighed. "I'm not sure..."
Amy said. "Now everyone knows,and who doesn't,is bound to find out." she
added. Rachel stopped walking and looked over at Amy. "Amy,I'm scared." she
said. "Where do we go now?" she added. "...The best place I can think of
is..  Home." Amy said. "Should you tell your mom about everything?" Rachel
said.  Amy looked at Rachel,then walked over to a hill,sat down and started
crying.  "My mom is going to find out too,my life is totally ruined." Amy
said.  "...Maybe we could transfer to another school." said Rachel. "But
your mom's a teacher in this one...and my mom,even if she knew I was
bi,wouldn't let me change schools." They both sighed and Amy stood up,and
walked down the street to Rachel's house. Rachel got out the house
key,unlocked the door,walked in and tossed herself on the couch. "What
about your mom?" Amy said as she walked over to sit by Rachel. "...huh?"
replied Rachel "...I mean...what if she finds out?" said Amy "Finds out
what?" Rachel said with a puzzled look. "If she finds out what happened to
us...would she quit her job?" Amy said with a concerned look on her
face. "Most likely." said Rachel. "I'm so bummed out,I can't quite make
sense of this...I can't think straight." said Amy.

     Rachel got up and stood behind Amy,putting her hands on Amy's waist
and whispering in her ear "Then don't think..." as she slipped her hands
under Amy's shirt. Amy closed her eyes and drifted in her own little world
as Rachel began to lift up her shirt. Amy moaned as she helped Rachel lift

the sidewalk,hand-in-hand. The sun was bright,in the middle of the
day. They neared the corner when suddenly,a Mustang drove up and started

     "Here we are." said Amy. They both walked through the front door and
Amy greeted her mom,then took Rachel upstairs to her room. "So much has

worth it,all of it for you." said Rachel. Amy looked over at Rachel and
smiled. "Rachel.." Amy said.  "Yeah?" Rachel replied. "I've been thinkinhg
about it..and..I think.....I think I love you too." Rachel looked at Amy
and walked over to her...they both gazed into each others eyes and kissed
each other deeply,putting their arms around one another,as Amy's mom walked
in...

     "AMY!!" her mom said. Amy broke the kiss and looked up. "Mom..." Amy
said.  Amy's mom gasped and said "So the rumors...are true." Amy went
silent and sat down on the bed by Rachel. "Mom,I'm sorry you had to find
out this way..." said Amy. Her mom turned away and walked downstairs. Amy
got up and followed her mom.  Her mom sat down on a chair and Amy followed
and stood beside her. "Why didn't you tell me?" her mom sighed. "Mom..it's
not that easy....you should've seen how they treated us in school." Amy
said. Her mom sighed and got up to look out the window. Amy heard the loud
roar of a car engine and remembered that Mustang that shot at them. She saw
the tip of the car through the end of the window. "Mom!  Get down!!!!!" Amy
screamed,as the person in the car shot out the windows in her house. "Die
Lesbians!!!!!" he screamed,then ran away to the car. Rachel glanced through
the window upstairs. The Mustang drove away and Amy's mom just stared at
the broken glass from the window. "Mom,Are you ok?". Amy's mom got up and
walked slowly over to the couch and lied down. "Yes..I think so." her mom
said. "Who was that guy?" she added. "I...I think that was Erik...he's

could search it. Amy,her mom and Rachel,stood in ront of the house; the
yellow tape blocking every entrance,the police scattered on their
lawn,investigators taking samples of the glass,the police cars strung out

this happen to them before. "Rachel...we'd better take you home..we don't
want you hurt or anything." Amy's mom said. Amy's mom got in the car and
yelled out the window, "Ok Rachel,get in,were taking you home."  Amy got in
after Rachel and they pulled out of the driveway, drove to Rachel's
house,and when they got there,Rachel got out and told her mom everything
that had happened.

     "You must be exausted." said Rachel's mom. "Yes...we are." said
Amy. "Why don't you stay here until everything is sorted out? You'd be
better off that way." said Rachel's mom. "Yeah,mom,it's a good idea,we
could stay here until the investigation is done and Erik is put in jail."
Amy said. "Wouldn't a hotel be better?" said Amy's mom. "All of the hotel's
here are expensive,even for one night,and besides,the police can call our
number when they're done." said Rachel's mom. "Oh...okay,if you're positive
it's what you want." Amy's mom said.


     They all sat down on the couch and talked about what Erik had done and
then they ate dinner. "I'm gonna go upstairs and watch tv." Rachel
said. "Yeah,me too." Amy said. "Ok,don't stay up too late." Rachel's mom
said. Rachel and Amy ran up the stairs to Rachel's room. Rachel unlocked
the door and turned on the light. Amy walked into the room,it didn't look
all that great,but she thought at least it was better than hers.  Rachel
lied down on her bed and turned on the tv to HBO. Amy turned off the lights
and walked in front of the bed,allowing her shadow to reflect on the
mattress,and the dark image show in front of the tv screen. Amy took off
her shirt and jeans,so that the soft glow from the tv refelected off of her
smoothe skin. Rachel just stared at Amy in awe. Amy climbed over the end of

exit,passed a small town,and pulled up to a river at the foot of a
cliff,and looking down,you could see a waterfall. It was beautiful. Amy and
Rachel got out of the car and took a long walk by the moonlit
river,hand-in-hand... They stopped at the top of the waterfall,sat down at
the edge,and just looked at everything,the landscape,the starry
