New Friends? Part 2

It was the following week after her walk with her Mom that Lisa decided
that she would try and locate those two girls that she saw in Wendy's.  She
knew she had her work cut out for her because she knew they did not go to
her school so she surmised that they went to St. Francis Catholic School,
about a half mile away.  She knew that St Francis got off at about 3:00pm
and since she got out of school around 2:30, she would have plenty of time
to walk by the school to see if she could locate them.

Lisa started walking home, walking past St. Francis in the process.  There
was a soccer game going on at the time and she decided to stop and watch
it.  When she got there, her breath caught in her throat, because she
recognized the goalie for St. Francis as being one of the girls; tall with
red hair.  She could not mistake that girl, she was beautiful.  As she
watched her block shot after shot, she heard another girl yell from across
the field, "Way to go Beth." Lisa's eyes shot to where she heard the name
being yelled and again, she recognized the blonde that was with Beth in the
park. All of a sudden Lisa couldn't think straight.  She was still trying
to think of a way to approach them when the problem solved itself.

"Hello there. My name's Sally Ryder. What's yours?" A voice came from
behind her.

Lisa spun around and realized she didn't even notice the petite blonde had
approached her. She was probably about 5'1", shorter than her 5'4" frame
but she had such beautiful Hazel eyes that drew her in.

"My name is, is Lisa Toms. I'm sorry; I was just startled by your
appearance.  I didn't hear you walk over." Lisa said kind of nervously.

Sally looked at the girl and noticed that she was a little taller than
herself, had brown hair and like Beth had blue eyes and was very pretty.

"Don't worry about it Lisa.  I'm usually that quiet when I want to sneak up
on someone." Sally told her laughing.

Lisa started laughing about it too. "Well, Sally, it's good to meet you. I
noticed the girl playing goalie for your school is very, very good."

"Yeah, that's Elizabeth Wilson but everyone just calls her Beth.  Last week
she shut down last year's state champion West Catholic."

"Now that is VERY impressive." Lisa said.

"Actually, one of the reasons that I came over here is to say hello and to
find out what school you go to, Lisa."

"Well, I go to Washington High where I'm a sophomore. It's just right down
the road about a half mile but since it's on my way home, I figured that I
would stop by and watch the soccer game."  Lisa told her.

At about that time, the game had ended and Beth noticed that Sally was
talking to a girl.  But she also noticed that the girl that she was talking
to was the one that they noticed at Wendy's last weekend.  As she walked
towards them, she noticed that the girl was very pretty and a little taller
than Sally.

"Hello there Sally.  Who's the new friend?" Beth said with some amusement.

Sally looked at Beth with a twinkle in her eye and said, "I'd like to
introduce you to Lisa Toms.  She goes to Washington High and had stopped by
to watch the soccer game.  She was telling me that she was very impressed
with the way you played goalie."

"Why thank you very much Lisa. I really appreciate that." Beth told her.

Beth came up to Lisa and shook her hand even though it was a little sweaty.
Something happened when they shook hands and Lisa had to look away from
Beth.

"Nice to meet you Beth. Yeah, you played a great game.  Even our goalie,
who I think is good, doesn't even come close to the way you played today."
Lisa said with admiration.

As Beth and Sally were talking to Lisa, they started getting closer
together and when they were close enough, they clasped their hands
together, looked into each others eyes, excused themselves to Lisa then by
mutual agreement, they brought their lips together and gave each other a
very tender kiss.

"Mmm, that was nice baby. I was wondering when I would get a "Nice Game"
kiss from you." Beth said quietly to Sally.

Lisa was very surprised by this show of emotions from these two girls that
she just met and was very quiet during the entire time that Beth and Sally
were close to each other. When they were done, they both looked at Lisa and
Lisa was blushing up a storm.

Beth just smiled at the blushing girl, "Lisa, as you can tell Sally and
myself are involved.  We also noticed that you were in the park last
weekend and then at Wendy's with your mom.  We also heard what you were
talking about with her and we would like to help you out if you let us."

Lisa was very surprised by the honesty of Beth. She let out a very deep
breath and said, "Wow, I didn't realize that you had heard what I was
talking about to my mom. But thank you, I would really appreciate it."

"We were about to go back to my house and do some "studying." Would you
like to come with us?" Sally asked Lisa.

"Depends on where you live.  I don't want to walk too far out of the way."
Lisa told her.

Sally told her where she lived and Lisa said that she only lived two blocks
away from her.  She pulled out her cell phone and called her mother. "Mom,
you don't mind if I go over to a friends house do you?" She listened for a
moment and said, "Well, I might wind up eating dinner over there also, do
you mind?" She listened some more and said, "No problem Mom, I'll be home
by 9:00 at the latest. Thanks mom, I love you."

During the time that Lisa was talking with her Mom, Beth and Sally were
holding hands the entire time and talking very quietly among
themselves. "What do you think babe, think she would make a good "friend."
Sally asked Beth quietly.

"Well, she is very friendly and looks like she needs our help, so, yeah; I
think that would be a good idea." Beth told her.

					************** As they got to
Sally's house, Lisa started getting nervous about this but also decided
that she had to go through with this if she wanted to find out how to find
other girls that felt the same way she did.
					**************

"Hey Stephi, were home, squirt! You around anywhere?" Sally yelled out.

Stephanie came tramping down the stairs from her room and froze after she
saw Lisa.  "Wow, she thought to herself. Who is my sisters' new friend?
She's very pretty!"

"Hey sis.  I thought I heard you come through the door. Hey Beth. How did
the game go?" Stephanie asked both of the girls.

Beth answered first, "Well, the game went great. We won 4 – 1."

"Stephanie, this is Lisa Toms. We really just met today. She's a sophomore
over at Washington High. She stopped by to watch the soccer game and we
just started talking about the game and everything just happened from
there. Lisa, this is my sister and sometime pain in the ass, Stephanie."
Sally said laughing as she did so.

As Stephanie was sticking out her tongue at her sister, she moved to shake
hands with Lisa and when they did, something unexpected happened.  What
felt like a jolt of electricity shot through both of them. They looked at
each other and smiled.  This was noticed by both Sally and Beth who really
looked surprised by this.

"Stephanie, Lisa is going to be eating dinner with us. Is Dad home or is he
still out of town at that conference?" Sally asked her sister.

"He's still out of town but I think he'll be back tomorrow sometime."
Stephanie told her still looking at Lisa.

As the sisters were talking, Lisa was thinking to herself about what just
happened with Sally's sister.  She had never felt anything like that
before. Even with her ex-boyfriend. Stephanie looked to be about 13 or 14,
shorter than Sally but just as pretty.  She was thinking about all of this
when she was broken out of her train of thought by Sally.

"Hello, Lisa, are you okay?" Sally asked.

"Oh, sorry about that Sally. I was just thinking about something and just
started "zoning" out.  That happens with me sometimes." Lisa said.

"Hey squirt, is Mom making dinner or are we preparing it?" Sally asked her
sister.

"She called a little while ago and wanted me to let you and Beth know to
start on the salad and she would finish when she gets home in a little
while. I guess you will have to make a little extra since you brought Lisa
home with you." As Stephanie was talking, she was still looking at Lisa who
was blushing a little.  Stephanie thought that Lisa looked adorable with
the blush.

"What does your Dad do that he has to go out of town?" Lisa asked Sally

"He's an IT Consultant. His office is here at home but he's asked to come
out to the businesses that he's done work for every now and then and make
suggestions on how to improve their Internet security. He's excellent at
what he does too. And my mother owns her own Hallmark Card Shop in
town. It's called K's Hallmark." Sally said with some pride in her voice.

"Hey, I've been in that card shop. That's where I buy almost all of my
cards from. I've probably seen your mom in there and never gave it a
thought. Wow, it is a small world after all." Lisa said

"Well ladies, I think we should put our things in my room then we can come
back down and start on the salad and whatever else we want for dinner. Beth
you need to take a shower first though." Sally said to Beth and Lisa.

The girls went up to Sally's room and dumped their stuff in there. While
there, Lisa took a look around and noticed some of the posters on her
wall. Gwen Stefani and others that she also had on her own wall.  As Beth
was taking her shower, it gave Sally and Lisa a chance to talk a little
more.

Sally looked at Lisa and then asked her, "Lisa, what happened with my
sister downstairs?"

"Actually, I'm not really sure but when I shook her hand, it felt like
electricity went through me.  I've never had that happen to me before.  How
about yourself?" Lisa asked Sally but really didn't expect an answer from
her.

"It's happened to me only once Lisa. The first time I met Beth she was
coming off the soccer field and as we introduced ourselves what felt like a
jolt of electricity passed between us.  It never happened to me with my
ex-girlfriend, just with Beth.  So I knew something special was going to
happen with her." Sally was telling this to Lisa when Beth walked into the
room.

"Yeah. As soon as that happened, I knew we were destined to be together."
Beth said as she came into the room.

"Wow, does that mean your sister and I may have been meant for each other,
Sally?"  Lisa said with amazement.

"Well, Stephanie is 14 years old and did have a boyfriend sometime ago but
I haven't heard anything about him for the last month or so. She knows that
I am a Lesbian and is pretty cool about it.  I never really thought about
my sister also liking girls. That would be kind of cool though.  That means
we could double date." Sally kidded with her.

Lisa looked at Sally and was trying to decide whether or not she was
kidding with her. When Sally started to laugh then she knew she was
kidding.
					**************

They had been in Sally's room for about 30 minutes when they heard
Stephanie yell up to them to come down and start on the salad.

The girls came down to join Stephanie in the kitchen, starting work on the
salad and the baked potatoes. After a little while Lisa drew closer to
Stephanie. "Stephanie," Lisa said quietly, "When we shook hands earlier, it
felt as if electricity passed through me.  Did you feel that too?"

"I did. Lisa, I have never felt that before. Even when I had a boyfriend,
nothing like that ever happened to me. I think that means something good
will happen, or at least I hope so Lisa." Stephanie said as she smiled at
Lisa.

Lisa started blushing again and Stephanie just had to say something, "Lisa,
I think you're really pretty and when you blush it just makes you
irresistible."  Lisa and Stephanie started moving closer to each other and
Lisa gently took one of Stephanie's' hands in her's and started caressing
it.  As their fingers intertwined, their faces got closer and before either
of them knew what was happening they were kissing very tenderly. As they
were kissing, Lisa thought that Stephanie's lips were so soft. It was
nothing like kissing a boy.  At the same time Lisa was thinking that,
Stephanie was thinking that now she knew why her sister preferred girls
over boys.

At the sound of a very loud cough from behind them, they broke their kiss
and Lisa and Stephanie both blushed up a storm as they remembered where
they were.

"Okay you two lovebirds. Time to knock it off and get back to work on the
food." Beth told them with a big smile on her face.

As the girls chopped, diced, sliced and baked in preparation for dinner,
Lisa thought there was enough food for a small army. As they were finishing
up, Sally's mother walked through the door.

"Well, hello girls. I thought I was in the wrong house for a moment. I
didn't hear my two daughters arguing. And who's the new addition to the
dinner table?"

"Mom, I'd like you to meet Lisa Toms. She stopped by to watch the soccer
game today. She goes to Washington High. Lisa, this is my mother Judy
Krieger." Sally said.

"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Krieger. You have a very nice house. I was
telling Stephanie, Sally and Beth that I've been in your card shop a number
of times." Lisa said.

As Lisa was talking, Sally's mom noticed that Stephanie was constantly
watching Lisa and quickly realized what was happening with her younger
daughter. She could only smile to herself and hope that Stephanie and Lisa
would be happy together.

"I thought you looked kind of familiar Lisa.  I've seen you in the store
quite a bit alone and with your mother. Welcome to what we laughingly call
"The Zoo." Sally's mother said laughing. "Alright ladies, I stopped by
Boston Market and brought home some Meatloaf and Chicken. Bring out the
salad and whatever else you decided to prepare and let's commence
dinnertime."
					*************** They girls brought
out the baked potatoes and the salad, placing them on the table.They all
sat and enjoyed the chicken and the meatloaf.  The conversation encompassed
just about everything; from school, to music, to Beth's soccer win earlier
that day.  All during the dinner, Lisa and Stephanie kept stealing glances
at each other not knowing that Stephanie's mother was watching them both.

After dinner, the girls cleaned the table, rinsed the dishes and placed
them in the dishwasher.

"Hey mom, we're going upstairs to do our homework. Lisa has to be back home
by 9:00 so we are going to try and get everything done." Sally told her
mom.

"Is Stephanie coming up there with you to do her homework?" Sally's mom
said quizzically.

"If she wants to and I think she does." Sally said as she saw her little
sister blush.

"Well, then, try to keep it down to low roar up there, okay girls?" Sally's
mom said.

"Mooooom, we're just going to do some studying for school!" Sally tried to
say with some indignation in her voice.

"Uh huh Sally.  I remember the first time you brought Beth home with
you. You were both kind of "loud" up there." Her mom said.

Sally kind of looked at her mom but left it alone.  She knew she had lost
this conversation already.

The girls headed upstairs to do some studying for school.
					*************

The girls paired off, Beth and Sally, Lisa and Stephanie.  They actually
were studying too; Beth and Sally were studying Math; Lisa and Stephanie
were studying History.  After a while and after switching places, they
decided to take a break from studying. It was around 7:30 and Stephanie
asked if anyone wanted anything to drink. All the girls wanted some Diet
Coke. "Lisa, would you like to come down and help me with the drinks?"
Stephanie asked her.

"Sure, I don't mind. Let's go." Lisa said with a big smile on her face.

After they went downstairs, Sally and Beth started talking.

"Well Sally, what do you think about the squirt and Lisa?"

"That is a very surprising development.  I always thought my sister was
straight but it shows that people can be very surprising." Sally said with
some surprise in her voice.

"I guess this means that we don't have to fix Lisa up with anyone now.  It
seems that your sister is very smitten with her. Did you see her face when
Lisa walked into the house?" Beth asked Sally.

"I know, that is what amazed me.  I still can't believe it myself." Sally
exclaimed.

Beth and Sally moved toward each other. Sally wrapped her arms around Beth
and Beth placed her arms around Sally's neck and they started to kiss very
tenderly. Their kiss picked up steam as their tongues came into play. Their
tongues slipped around each other, caressing each other mouths. Before they
knew it, their hands were roaming each others bodies. After a while they
broke apart panting,

"Whew Sally, I think we better tone it down before your sister and Lisa
come back." Beth said almost out of breath.

"Yeah, I guess you're right but one these days (or nights she thought to
herself) we will be alone and then we will be able to do what we want to
do." Sally told Beth with a smile on her face.

					*************

Lisa and Stephanie were in the process of getting the drinks when
Stephanie's Mom came in.  "Stephi, can I talk to you for a moment? Lisa,
can you excuse us for a moment?"

"Mom, what's wrong?" Stephanie asked her Mom with some worry in her voice.

"Well, honey, I just want you to know that I think Lisa seems to be a very
nice girl and that I did see you and her staring at each other quite a bit
during dinner.  I do know what you are going through and I just want you to
know that like your sister, I will support you in any decision that you
make. As long as you are happy that's all I want for you. And if you need
any advice, you can come to me, okay?" her mother told her.

Stephanie just stared at her mom with wonder, then threw herself into her
Moms' arms and hugged her. "Thanks Mom, I really appreciate it and I love
you very much.  Believe me; this came as a big surprise to me too.  Now I
know why Sally likes girls more than boys."
					***************

Stephanie walked back into the kitchen as Lisa was finishing
up. "Stephanie, is everything okay?" Lisa asked her.

Stephanie walked over to Lisa, took two glasses out of her hands that she
had been holding, placed her arms around Lisa's neck and tenderly placed
her lips against Lisa's.  Lisa then wrapped her arms around Stephanie's
waist, pulled her tighter and started kissing back.  Since she had never
done this with another girl before, she just figured that she would do what
she would want to have done to her. Lisa then pressed her lips against
Stephanie's, brought her tongue out and pressed it against Stephanie's
lips. Stephanie then opened her mouth letting Lisa's tongue into it and
started rolling her own tongue around Lisa's.  The feeling was incredible!
As the kiss deepened, their arms started to tighten around each other and
they started moaning into each other's mouth. They realized that their
moans were getting a little too loud so they broke the kiss but did not
release their arms.  They looked into each other's eyes and started to
smile.

"What did your Mom have to say to you that you just took my breath away?"
Lisa asked her incredulously.

"Well, my mother saw us staring at each other all during dinner and
realized what was happening. She told me that she would support me in any
decision that I made." Stephanie said happily.

Before Lisa knew what was happening, she realized that she had started
crying a little but with happiness. Stephanie saw this and wiped the tears
away. She had almost started crying herself, but Lisa saw this and just
smiled.

"I think we should get these drinks upstairs before my sister and Beth
think we got lost."  Stephanie said.
					**************

As Lisa and Stephanie brought the drinks upstairs, Sally and Beth were
pulling apart when they walked in the door.  All four girls looked at each
other and started blushing at being caught by each other.
					**************

"Well, it looks as if you just about caught us in the act squirt." Sally
told her sister.

"Don't worry about it Sis. Lisa and I were downstairs making out anyway."
Stephanie told her sister.

At that point, Lisa came up to Stephanie and gave her a small punch in the
shoulder and started blushing.

"Owe, that hurt a little Lisa. But it was worth it seeing you blush again."
Stephanie said chuckling as she put her arm around Lisa's waist and gave
her a peck on the cheek.

"I think we should either start studying again or just have a make out
session. What do you think baby?" Beth asked Sally

"Since it's close to 8:30 and Lisa and you both have to leave shortly, we
can just either talk or take your suggestion." Sally said as she started
moving closer to Beth again.

Watching Sally and Beth move closer to each other made Lisa blush again but
she knew that she and Stephanie would be kissing shortly, and she was
looking forward to it. While she was thinking that, Stephanie came up
behind her, wrapped her arms around her waist and hugged her.  The first
thought that entered Lisa's mind was how comfortable she felt with
Stephanie. Something she had never felt with Mark. She turned around in
Stephanie's arms and wrapped her arms around Stephanie's neck and pulled
her forward. Their lips touched, their mouths opened and their tongues
entered each others mouth.  As they were kissing, their hands started
roaming over each other bodies.  Lisa felt Stephanie's hands on her butt
pulling her closer and she started moaning. She brought one of her hands
down to one of Stephanie's breasts and started gently fondling
her. Stephanie then started moaning into her mouth.  They kept it up until
there was a coughing sound and realized that Beth and Sally were watching
them.  Lisa and Stephanie both started blushing at the same time.

"Stephanie, I think it's time that Lisa and Beth left. It's getting close
to 9:00 and even though they only live a couple of blocks away, we don't
want them getting into trouble now do we?" Sally said with a smile on her
face and one of her arms around Beth's waist.

"I guess you're right sis. Besides, they'll be back or we'll be over their
houses to "study" next time." Stephanie said as she gave Lisa a peck on the
cheek goodbye.

They walked Beth and Lisa to the front door and watched both of the girls
go home.

On the way back upstairs, Stephanie came into her sister's room before she
went into hers.

"Well, squirt, it looks as if you now have a girlfriend! You really like
Lisa don't you?"  Sally asked her sister with a twinkle in her eye.

"Yeah, and it's something that was totally unexpected.  I really don't know
what happened, but when she walked in the door with you and I saw her
standing there, something just came over me. I can't explain it, but it
felt as if I was drawn to her. Now I know why you like girls instead of
boys; no game to play and just holding each other feels right." Stephanie
told her sister.

"And now you know. Remember squirt, you will now have to deal with your
friends about this. Remember what I had to go through when I first told my
friends that I was gay? I lost some of them, but then I also made new ones
too.  All in all, it was worth it because I now have Beth in my life."
Sally told her sister with a serious expression on her face.

"I totally forgot all about that. I slightly remember you going through
some tough times but I also remember that Mom and Dad helped you through
it.  Mom talked to me earlier about it and said that she would support me
through any decisions I made." Stephanie said to her then did something
that surprised both of them. She went over to her sister and gave her a
hug.

"What was that for squirt?" Sally asked her.

"That was for bringing Lisa home with you. But don't expect me to do that
too often." Stephanie said with a chuckle and went into her room.
						*************

As Stephanie and Sally were talking about all of this, Lisa and Beth were
walking together because they both basically lived in the same direction.

"Lisa, I guess you found yourself a girlfriend." Beth said to her with some
seriousness in her voice.

"Yeah, I guess I did.  I certainly didn't think it would happen that
quickly and easily. When I saw Stephanie standing there in the house,
something about her just hit me.  I have no idea what it was but even when
I had a boyfriend, nothing like that ever happened to me. She's all I can
think about now; how we were holding and kissing each other just feels
right." Lisa said to Beth

Beth stopped and looked at her with all seriousness. "Lisa, I don't want to
make you nervous but have you considered what you are going to tell your
friends?"

"I'm really not sure but I have considered it already, and I know I will
take a lot of shit from a number of people but hopefully I'm ready for it.
Having Stephanie in my life now is all I can think about and how happy she
makes me.  I've seen you and Sally together and the look in both of your
eyes is priceless.  I just want to thank both of you for introducing me to
Stephanie." Lisa said.

"Well, this is my street Lisa. Yours is just around the corner isn't it?"
Beth asked her.

"Yeah, as a matter of fact, there it is.  Have a nice night Beth and again,
thank you very much." Lisa said to Beth as she bounced with happiness the
rest of the way home.
