 Shane and Nikki had been dating almost six months now. They were both
happy being with each other,  Shane was happy for the first time in a
long time. Shane had an idea for her and Nikki's sixth month anniversary.
She called up Nikki' parents and Nikki's father answered the phone
" Hello Mr. Lawson."
" Hello Shane."
" How are you today Mr .Lawson?"
" I'm fine. How are you?"

" I have this idea for me and Nikki's anniversary. Can I run it by you?"
" Of course you can I would love to hear it."
" OK so here is the plan I would love for you, Mrs. Lawson and Nikki to
go out for dinner and a movie. While I make a romantic dinner for me and

" I will run into you guys at the movies and your permission to take
Nikki out. Just call me and let me know what time the movie starts and,
what theater you will be at."
" That sounds like a great idea ok will do."
" What are you going to make for the dinner."
" I have no clue yet but when I figure it out I will let you know."
" Ok sounds good."
" Well Mr. Lawson I have to go talk to you later."

 Shane was happy that everything was going as planned. Nikki had no idea
that she was planning something for their anniversary. She some how
thought that she had forgotten about it some how. Shane went to Nikki's
house like she always does. She used her key to get in the Lawson's had
given her a key because she was always at the house. Shane walked into
Nikki's room while she was on the computer.
" Hello baby."
 Nikki screamed
" Holy shit you scared the crap out of me."
" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

" What? Your not in the mood?"
" That's a first. Is everything ok?"

 Nikki was worried that sometime was wrong with Shane because she has
never turned her down when it came to making love. She tried not to think
about it to much. That night they just relaxed and cuddled the whole
night. Shane slipped out of bed in the middle of the night and drove home
to get things read for the Saturday night. Nikki woke up in the about an
hour after she had left and, realized that Shane wasn't next to her. She
got really worried and called her cell phone but it was off. She didn't
understand what was going on she assumed that she was mad at her but
didn't know exactly why she would be mad. She called her phone again and
it went straight to voice mail.
" Shane baby where are you?"
" I'm worried you have never left in the middle of the night please call
me back."
 Nikki sat up the rest of the night waiting for Shane to call her back
but she never did. She was really scared. She even called her house which
she never does and her dad said she wasn't home and hadn't seen her. She
tried not to worry but that's all she could do this wasn't like Shane at
all. The sun had finally came up and there was still no call. Nikki just
laid down and fell asleep. Mr. Lawson woke Nikki and he saw her eyes were

" What's wrong Nikki."
 In between sobs Nikki said
" Shane left in the middle of the night."
" She has never done that before and she won't return my calls."
" Don't worry honey she will call, ok."
" I think that she forgot about our anniversary."

" Now put on something really nice I'm taking you and your mother out."

" I will be back down in a hour to check on you you better be dressed and
ready."

 She got dressed and sat in her room for a little while before it was
time to leave. She still hadn't heard from Shane so she just gave up. Mr.
Lawson called Shane.
" Everything seems to be going as planned."
" But she has been worried about you."
" Is she ok?"
" Nope she was crying a lot before but she has seemed to calm down a
bit."
" She agreed to come out with me and her mom."
" Ok good."
" We are about to leave in about 15 minutes."
" Alright thanks again for this I want it to be perfect."
" Your welcome kiddo anything for you and Nikki."
 Nikki, her mother and father all left to go to the movie and dinner.
Shane slipped into the house and started to prepare dinner for her and
Nikki. She made baked chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and broccoli with
cheese sauce. She put rose petals in their room on the floor and on the
bed. She also lit some beautiful smelling scented candles and put them
all over the house. Everything looked perfect so she left to get a dozen
roses and to go pick up Nikki. She showed up at the movies while the
Lawson's were on line. Mr. & Mrs. Lawson saw her and smiled. She put her
hands over Nikki's eyes.
" Guess who?"
" SHANE!!!!!"
" Yes sweetheart it's me."
 Nikki smacked her arm with her purse.
" What was that for."
" You jerk you wouldn't call me back and you left me in the middle of the
night."
" I'm sorry sweetheart I just had some important stuff I needed to take
care of."
" Well you could of told me that you were leaving."
" I'm sorry I didn't want to disturbed you while you were sleep."
" Next time wake me up anyway and let me know."
" Ok I'm really sorry."
" It's ok baby."
" Nikki come on let's get out of here I have something to show you."
" Can I go mom and dad please."
" Of course you can go."
" Have fun girls."
" Bye mom and dad."
" Bye Mr. and Mrs. L"
 Shane opened the car door for Nikki and watched her get so she could see
her amazing behind in the dress she had on.
" Wow Nikki you look sexy tonight."
" Thanks baby. You look good tonight too."
" Welcome and thanks."
 Shane stopped the car and blindfolded Nikki. She had no idea what was
going on so she just went a long with it. They pulled up at the house and
Shane got out and let Nikki out. She took her by the hand and led her
into the house. She took the blindfold off of her and handed her a dozen
roses. Nikki's jaw dropped and she started to cry.
" What's wrong sweetheart?"
" Nothing I'm just really happy that's all this is so nice."
" HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SWEETHEART!!!!!!"
" Happy anniversary too you to."
" I thought you forgot."
" Hell no I would never forget."
" Your dad knew all about this."
" Really he did?"

" He isn't a jerk he thought it was a really good idea."
" Anyway let's eat dinner."
 Nikki sat down while Shane brought their dinner to the table. They sat
at the table and ate their dinner and they just talked about the future
and stuff.
" Wow baby that dinner was amazing."
" I didn't know you could cook like that."
" Thanks sweetheart."
" I'm sorry about making you cry before."
" Your dad had told me earlier when he called me."
" It's ok I was just really scared that's all."
 Go downstairs and I will bring down our tasty dessert. She headed
downstairs and was so surprised when she saw all the lit candles and the
beautiful red rose petals all over the room. Shane came downstairs with
some chocolate covered strawberries. They laid in bed feeding each other
strawberries. They were all out of strawberries and things started to
heat up a little bit. Their kiss became a little more intense Shane
slipped her hand under Nikki's black dress and could feel the wet spot on
