Foreword

This particular piece was written by a very special friend of mine. We
have attempted to submit it to both of the city papers that are published
in our area but with unremarkable failure. Obviously the editors of both
papers are more concerned with what their moral standpoints are versus a
growing portion of the populous.

Any comments views etc on the following subject are welcome (both negative
and positive) and will all be answered as time allows. Comments can be

I am a 16 year old girl with a rather perplexing problem. I read in the
papers or hear discussed, the many arrests of those individuals who are
involved in cross generational relationships (or child pornography as
"polite society" refers it). I find myself wondering if those in authority
have ever stopped to ask the child his or her feelings on the subject. I
highly doubt it, or society is instead dictating that you are incapable or
using your brain until you reach the age of 18.

As a social science project I conducted a survey of 1800 teenagers in my
own school and others both male and female, to find out a few disturbing
facts. Of these, 86% said they had been involved in some kind of
intercourse with partners, some with the opposite sex, and others with
both. 67% of these people said the relations they had were unsatisfactory
and/or painful. When asked, 92% admitted that they would have preferred
their first partner to be older and more skilled to make that first time
the special event it is supposed to be.

We have entered an age where people are becoming sexually active younger
and younger but our laws do not reflect the change of views. Therefore
those who are willing to take the chance are persecuted for it. I have a
group of friends who want their first partner to be someone much older than
themselves to give them the chance to have it good. But they don't know
where to begin to look for it. Society has driven us to become criminals
and to lurk in the shadows looking for something that should be perfectly
normal.

I am not talking about the weirdo's who can only find gratification by
assaulting the minds and persons of children...by those I mean the ones
that have no clue as to their sexuality or haven't begun to develop my
personal opinion is anything under the age of 12 is criminal. A person that
young has no hope of dealing with all the emotional issues and baggage that
can go along with it.

Myself...I am a criminal. I have made 2 others criminal as well by
allowing them to guide me into my own burgeoning womanhood, either by
thought or by deed. What is my crime? I chose to allow a beautiful woman
in both spirit and body to show me what physical love could be. I also
have a wonderful man who would absolutely love to initiate me into that
half of this exciting world. The only reason this hasn't become a reality
is due to distance. I know that would also be done with more respect and
concern than any teenage boy fumbling around in the basement with parents
upstairs or wherever.

I do not regret becoming a criminal, nor do the partners I have chosen...
doesn't that say a bit for the change of the outdated archaic laws that
exist today?
