Part Five

The time came to leave our summer place and return home and back to
college. Though this was only for one year. It had been made quite clear a
long time before that we would only be attending the college for two
years. This was to prepare us for the entrance exams to the university and
that our last six months would be for cramming and the taking of these

   It was not a usual thing to only spend two years at college for it

given two hours to answer each question and give our answers and
reasoning. I had the advantage of knowing the exact question and gave my
answers inside the allotted time and we had to wait three weeks before we
learned of our passing grades.

   I got an A plus, which was what I expected. Mark and Freddie got
straight A's while Donald got an A minus, but all were well sufficient to
pass us through the exams for the university.

   Of course, all our parents were delighted at the pass marks for the

that after which, would be our entry into the university. The only
