Summary

Jean-Claude grows up in France during World War Two. He learns about
sex from his sister and his father's mistress. He goes on to further
sexual adventures. This was a companion piece to Janey's April by
Janey.

Commentary

I read Janey's April and did not like it. I was not sure what to
expect. I was pleasantly surprised. French Kisses is a beautifully
told story. There were a handful of episodes. They all flowed
together nicely. Sandman took a story of Janey's that I felt was
lacking, among other things, any redeeming values and breathed real
life into it.

There was no real plot, other than the sexual education of a young
Frenchman. Jean-Claude radiated warmth. Mary and Alice, seemed just
as sex starved as in the Janey's April, but that did not ruin the
story, because neither of them was relating the story. I liked the
main character. The sex was not forced or encyclopedic.

Best Line: "I removed my penis and began the soft, rhythmic strokes
that had always brought me such pleasure."

(Yeeeees!! Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?)
(I think so, Brain, but do you really want to be an intern at the
White House? I mean think about it. Long hours, private meetings
with the president, hard work, private meetings with the president,
wearing berets, private meetings with the president.)
(Hmmmm, you may have a point there, Pinky. If there's one thing I
 can't stand its a wearing a beret.)

Rating

I give this story a 8.5 on a scale of 10.
