SUMMARY After Jack's parents are killed in a car accident he moves in with Marcia and her two daughters, Karen and Kelly. Jack learns a lot about living and loving in the year that he lives with his foster family. COMMENTARY This is a very well written novel. It has several plot lines and a decent amount of sex. Sex is not the be all, end all of this story. The author makes a serious attempt at dealing with some moral issues, including the juxtapositon of an active premarital sex life and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. This is a long story. If you are just looking for something to beat off to then I advise you read part seven, and skip the rest. This is not to say that there is no sex in the other parts, or that I did not find it arousing, just that the story does not revolve around sex in the other parts as much as does in the seventh one.
