  SUMMARY

Mr. Bristol's infatuation with his daughter's best friend, Valarie,
has dangerous consequences.

  COMMENTARY

How dumb can one man be? This story attempts to answer this
question. Developing an infatuation for your 18-year-old daughter's
best friend is one thing; acting on it is another. The narrator
deserves what he gets in the end.

There is a point in this story where I felt the plot was advanced
just a bit too easily. It was a let down, but the ending made up for
this slip up, by author, in part.
