Rogue Review No. 320 - February 27, 1999 Wildlife by Lee Bido M-solo, F-solo Length: 4,200 words Objective Analysis: 7 (out of 10) Arousal: 3 (out of 5) Story: 4 (out of 5) Subjective Analysis: Good NOTICE If you are easily offended, not of the requires legal age, or material of an erotic nature is illegal where you are, then do not read what follows. SUMMARY Theo and Susan, coincidentally, decide to masturbate in the great outdoors. COMMENTARY I like the idea behind this story, but I think that the author missed something in the execution. It alternates between Susan and Theo, describing first what one is up to and then the other. It provides a certain amount of symmetry. I like that. Where I think the story falls short is that Theo and Susan seem to have no other function in life other than to masturbate. Believe it or not I think it would have made the story more arousing if the author had worked up to the sex, instead of more or less beginning with it. I gave this story a Good, under Subjective Analysis, because while it is a nice story, it is also a bit lacking. If there had been more to the plot or some build up before revealing why Susan and Theo were hiking in the hills of southern Indiana, then I might have given this story a Very Good.
