Title: Explanation of the Bargain Basement folder.

What's this folder? I've created it to hold stories that don't
live up to the standards I set for "Sterling". I had also thought
of calling it "Grade B Stroke Stories" or "Sterling's Farm Team".

A fantasy often comes to me and I write for a while, but then I
lose interest. I don't want to develop it into a full story with
plot, but I still think it's kind of cool. It has stroke value to
me. I've often noticed that some of the stroke stories by
other authors that I find hottest aren't objectively very good
writing, but I appreciate them. So I offer these stories to
the world in the same spirit -- and the writing's not actually
bad by any means.

I may put other stories here that are half-baked in some way. I
suppose sufficient reader enthusiasm might goad me to develop one
of those ideas further.

Another reason for the change is that at this writing Sterling
has more than 50 stories. I find that when I'm looking at other
authors with that many stories, my eyes kind of glaze over.

My writing has improved over time. Some of the earlier things I
wrote (especially before March of 2010) aren't as good
technically as later works. But I'm not going back to rewrite
history; I'm only putting stories in the bargain basement going
forward from today (6/15/2011).
