As you walk into the officer's lunch room you notice Officer Foley sitting with in a group. You walk over to join them. Foley introduces you to the others. There is officer Starsky, Smithers and Pace. They acknowledge you coldly, and Foley seems to be the only one who is happy to see you. The other officers don't talk much and Foley does his best to keep you in the conversation.
Foley asks you questions about your hopes and dreams, hobbies and interests. Eventually he asks you about past relationships. You tell him truthfully that you have never had a boyfriend.
The group looks at you skeptically and officer Starsky says "Yeah right. Unless you are only into girls there is no way you held out this long."
"Well to be honest it just never really happened. Most guys were too scared in highschool and the ones that weren't were all jerks. I had a guy as a friend in college, but I think he was gay."
Foley laughs, "So you mean to tell me, you have never had a date, you have never even had sex?"
You blush and nod.
"Man that is a waste" says Foley, trying to stop laughing.
Starky says "I still don't believe her."
Smithers says,"I do. Some chick who wants to work here has something wrong with her. I don't know what angle you are working, just leave me out of it."
The siren blares out. Foley smiles at you and says he will see you later, but the others leave without another word. It is possible that Smithers isn't alone in his suspicions.
